Jamaica Blue in Telford and Wrekin

came in on Friday and I was so displeased with the service! the owners or managers was arguing at the till for so long, and flirting it felts so unprofessional. I was waiting for atleast 5 minutes to get my order, all whilst the pair was arguing all for mediocre coffee! Do not recommend

I went there the other day to have some bacon pancakes. While I was enjoying my meal. While I was enjoying my meal a waiter brought me some coffee. I did not order coffee. But I thought it was a nice gesture. Or a part of the meal. About 2 minutes later. The waiter comes again the way the coffee that I was just drinking. Even though I was halfway through it. He took it away. I thought was quite strange granted I did not order it but still. You give me something and then take it away while I'm consuming it. That's not very good customer services.😕

The atmosphere is what you make it, but I don't like snobby Karens and this place looked like it attracted those types of people. The food was presented portioned and seasoned well. You can ask for turkey bacon which is halal. A staff member in the headscarf greatly assisted me by informing me of which menu items are halal and which are not. You're not going to be spending peanuts because you're paying for quality. The picture I have posted in this review cost me roughly £48. There were two bottles of sparkling water which are not in the photo.

Jamaica blue Richmond has been a real treat for me! A place where I can work be welcome and be around people instead of being home alone! Food was good, seemed like a good price. Got our food, quickly. The Big Brekkie was well worth it. Only issue was the restaurant is not in the location Google Maps shows. It is in the mall, but it is down the corridor and around the corner from location shown on the map.

Soul-less place that offers ridiculously expensive beverages and low quality food served by apathetic staff. I’m sorry to write this review but man do they need it. The girl that took my order at the till looked like she was doing me a favor to order me food - a smile really wouldn’t hurt you know, it makes people feel welcome. I would have ignored that if at least I got the eggs I ordered for my child: fried. They managed to bring them scrambled, after which we were so hungry we just ate what we got. My child’s breakfast was SAD: the rash of bacon he got was the most minuscule portion of pale bacon I have seen in my life. The sausage was very low quality, they kind you usually get in very cheap “builders cafes”. My veggie roll had mostly rucola and pickled onions rather than avocado or eggs and the halloumi was barely cooked. 1 kids breakfast 1 veggie sandwich 1 cappuccino =£24 If you think that’s the right price you don’t deserve the money you earn.

First time here liked the appeal of the inside so went in for a lunch..menu was interesting prices were reasonable but most of all the food was amazing..great taste generous portions friendly staff. We ordered Turkish eggs with sourdough naan and I loved it I ordered veg sausages as extra and they were tasty we also ordered the shakshuka that also had a great fresh taste too.For dessert I had the carrot and pistachio cake and it tasted very nice not to sweet..then had to have a latte with a rich fluffy texture and strong taste..loved the meal will definitely go again...

Nidhi is the best as a manager I have even seen. Keep it up all the members. We would love to have coffee only from her. The best lattes ever she served with whole her love. Other members are so helpful and kind as well. Definitely recommend this to everyone.

Very rude manager, triggered my anxiety and almost made me cry. I’ve never ever experienced something like this in any establishment I’ve been to. I’ve never left a bad review before either because I like to forgive and forget, but I want to save other people from the same pain and humiliation we went through. Me and my friends were having a reunion brunch here. However, it all went downhill as there was some miscommunication between my friend and the person at the till, so the wrong order was put through. When the wrong food was brought my friend said she didn’t order that, a big fuss was kicked up. The manager refused to give her the food and said she would have to pay another £9 for the other dish, when she had already paid £9! She wouldn’t even let her pay the difference. So my friend paid and didn’t get any food. When asking the manager about this she started saying that it’s her restaurant and she won’t just replace someone’s food if there’s a mistake, and that she doesn’t care if we left a bad review. She was so rude and my friend didn’t have anything to eat and I felt so anxious I was shaking. My friend was so teary eyed I wanted to cry too :( It’s still making me anxious and has affected my mental health. What was meant to be a wholesome happy weekend turned into a nightmare because of this experience.

I’ve reported this restaurant to the head office of the company for the worst experience in my life. I’ve never done anything like this in my life. As soon as you post a 1 star review the manager Nidhi said she doesn’t care because she brings the rating back up - which implies she makes fake accounts to keep her ratings up.

Appalling customer service and rude staff. Avoid this place. The manager Nidhi, is especially rude, patronising, and totally unprofessional—she should not be in a customer-facing role. She clearly has no idea how to speak to or treat paying customers, and her staff aren’t any better. I was shouted at in front of other customers and treated with zero respect. I’ve worked in customer service for years and would never dream of shouting at a customer over a simple mistake. I’ve NEVER been treated this badly in public. While mistakes can happen, such as my order being mixed up, the way it was handled was unacceptable. The waitress must have misheard me, entered the wrong order, and proceeded to serve it. When I pointed out that I hadn’t ordered the dish, she responded in a condescending manner, insisting that I ‘100% must have ordered that dish,’ which I most certainly had not. After speaking with the manager, the waitress told me that I couldn’t change my order and would have to eat what was served. She then offered me the option of paying the price difference to receive the dish I originally ordered, to which I agreed. However, when I went to the counter to pay, the rude manager told me I could not order another dish, claiming I had ‘admitted to the misunderstanding,’ which apparently meant I couldn’t change my order or pay the difference. I was left without food, and the manager showed no concern whatsoever. I left hungry, humiliated and deeply upset. Nidhi’s behaviour, along with that of her staff, is shockingly unprofessional. One of the waitresses even mentioned that they regularly receive complaints about the manager, so be warned. Even her own staff don't want to work there. No customer should ever be made to feel this way. I strongly advise against coming here as there are plenty of other lovely cafés in Ealing that offer far better service. This is not the first time I have witnessed such behaviour. I’ve seen other customers being shouted at by the manager on previous occasions, which was equally shocking. I was never given the option to receive a refund.

STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. The manager and staff were incredibly, incredibly rude.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Absolutely unacceptable experience. I recently visited this restaurant with a friend and was seated near the till where I overheard an appalling interaction between a customer and the manager. The customer politely explained that her order was incorrect and had already been paid for, but the manager showed complete indifference. What shocked me the most was that, rather than resolving the issue, the manager flatly denied her the food she had rightfully paid for. I was absolutely baffled and horrified by this blatant disregard for basic customer service. It’s one thing for a mistake to happen, but it’s entirely another for management to respond with such rudeness and dismissiveness. If this is how they treat customers who have already paid, I am deeply concerned about how they might treat anyone else in a similar situation. The lack of professionalism and basic decency here is staggering. I strongly urge others to avoid this restaurant—there are plenty of better brunch spots in Ealing that prioritise customer service and foster a more welcoming, respectful atmosphere.

I had lunch at the ealing branch and I really enjoyed the food than I came back for more, i had the American/English breakfast, (yummy)and the service was excellent, I was welcome at the entrance the first time by a very polite girl (Shelu)and the second time I was told at the till, veri apologetic that the food may take about 20 minutes because it was really busy, my food arrived with in 10 minutes, (great)and again my food was delicious, and (Shelu)who was working again that day and came to say hello, thank you all at Jamaica blue Ealing, great place great food and excellent service 😀 👍 😊 🙂 😄

Absolutely awesome sandwich!! Loved the richness of flavours, the chorizo and the melted mozzarella with all the red peppers just complimented each other. Liked the carrot cake, not too sweet, but not mad about the sunflower seeds on top, would’ve been nicer if it was walnuts or pecan nuts. Overall, really nice place to sit and enjoy some good food. Will definitely be back ☕️

When Jamaica blue opened in Telford shopping centre it was fantastic brilliant atmosphere lovely professional nice staff food absolutely delicious and the Jamaica blue coffee exceptional my fave coffee of all time we looked forward to getting our lunch and relish coffee worth the money however visited today hardly any customers we sat down at a table which was absolutely filthy a previous customers coffee cups and half eaten food on plates still there ok maybe the staff were busy I thought I went to order 2 coffees a cake and a tuna melt ciabatta the lady serving me looked pissed off was not friendly at all was quite intimidating completed the order sat down a young man came over and brought the 2 coffees which tone fair we’re good thank god he then moved the dirty plates an cups off our table however did not clean an already filthy table see photos crumbs bits of leftover food from hours previous from other previous customers it was unhygienic and dirty then my tuna melt ciabatta was plonked down on the table with my wife’s lemon yogurt cake the tuna melt was not good obviously microwaved the cress was left at the side of the tuna melt looking like a green messy mulch disgusting it’s a shame this once lovely well run nice staffed café has gone down hill with obvious complacency very sad still loved the coffee though shame about the tepid microwaved tuna melt and dry lemon yoghurt cake the service the cleanliness and the pissed off member of staff was not worth the £17.80 cost hopefully the Jamaica blue management kick the staff up the back side toget back to a 5 star café and service

I recently visited Jamaica Blue in Ealing for the first time, and I was really impressed. I had a different idea of what to expect, but it turned out to be so much more than just a café. I loved the concept, they offer more than just great coffee. The dishes were made with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The service was amazing; the staff were friendly and joyful, making the experience even better. Overall, Jamaica Blue is much more than a typical café. I highly recommend it!

A regular here over the last 12 months. Fabulous tasting chai lattes, in a huge cup, Nidhi the barrister never forgets a face and your order! Its a nice warm and friendly cafe in the middle of the Mall. Nice choice of pastries/cakes in the front window along with open sandwiches which can be grilled to enjoy dining in. WIFI and a clean environment are other reasons to enjoy a visit.

This is my go-to coffee shop in Ealing. The food is absolutely to die for, you can tell the ingredients are high quality, always fresh, and the chef takes pride in their work. The lady who makes my coffee Nidhi, is an artist when it comes to coffee making and I always get a lovely little picture in the foam. The staff are attentive and there are nevere any lack of eyes constantly waiting for a sligh glance for them to rush over and be at your service. The place is kept clean and tidy at all times and the manager/owner is very friendly and is always ready to be hands on, he is not shy of doing odd jobs around the restaurant, you can tell he is passionate about the service! I recommend to anyone popping in and having a try.

Sad to see the response, love what your doing for the coffee brand. But at least one carribean dish when you have a Turkish and Korean dish H. However your establishment is called jamaica blue would make the experience better.

Nice atmosphere. Muffin and orange caje very tasty. But oat milk was an extra 70p! Coffee was very nice, but pricey.

We visited this morning Me my husband and my daughter had breakfast The service is not good the waitress only gave us two sets of cutlery which three of us , Very pricey food too. The man who's making the coffee keeps scratching his head and ears it is not what I expected to see in the restaurant very unhygienic.

Friendly atmosphere with great service. Coffee is exceptional and food is well priced. The lady Nidhi and gentlemen that serve us regularly are friendly and welcoming. Jamaica Blue serves best coffees in Ealing Broadway. My wife is Gluten free so the staff are accommodating to her wishes.

Probably THE worst experience ever. Saving grace the coffee was good. The service was appalling I paid £24 for two coffees, one lemonade, a salmon bagel and two croissants with cheese etc. I requested a small jug of hot water which didn't arrive. When ordering I was asked if the food should be heated and I said no because we were rushed for time. The food took an age to come to table even after server came to question hot or cold Cold was a massive mistake. They were rock hard so I asked for them to be heated Err that's heated not cremated..not only all this but we only got one croissant. I questioned only one and was told they didn't hear the order was for two. The guy on the orders also mistakenly had to enter my card twice for some reason. I will not be back here a place to avoid. Terrible terrible swrvice

ti’s rare to find such a combination of excellent service and top-notch coffee, and this shop certainly stands out. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. It’s a fantastic spot that made our holiday from Australia even more memorable. Cheers to the wonderful team especially Nidhi for making our visit so special!

Telford shopping centre turned out to be much larger than we anticipated so we needed somewhere to stop for a coffee. It was quite an attractive coffee shop that seemed to be very popular. We had green tea and a flat white, the coffee was good quality and the prices were reasonable.

As a traveller I love to try many cafes. I tried a different Jamaica Blue and wow it was amazing.. wish I could say the same about this one. This Jamaica Blue had terrible service! The staff was so unorganized and unprofessional. One staff member is arguing with another. One staff member kissing another, like get a damn room! All of this while taking forever with my order only for it to come out wrong! I honestly am so disappointed with this and expected so much better from a Jamaica Blue branch. I would recommend Jamaica Blue, but NOT this location!! Stay away!!

I have come to this cafe on monday and i am very not pleased with the service. The chef did an amazing job , food was delicious he deserves a raise. I was so happy with the food and could not get enough of it. The maple syrup and bacon pancakes came out absolutely wonderful. However the customer service was very poor. I kept seeing the manager and her boyfriend all cuddled up and not doing anything leaving the poor workers to it all and not helping them. I wanted to speak to the manager but she was so busy flirting with the man that i just didn’t even bother.

Very good customer service from two younger females, one which was hijabi and other one was white , created a very friendly environment and made me and my family feel very welcomed and appreciated. The young Asian female at the till was also very nice and patient. The menu is great and I’d say the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food , I had ordered the Turkish eggs and pancakes for my children and we all enjoyed it. I would recommend this cafe to anyone.

Absolutely horrendous customer service went in ordered an egg for my 6 year old which I told the young girl at the till please make my egg fried not scrambled which she did not listen. When my order came the egg was scrambled I went back to the till in which the young Asian girl denied I had said i wanted my egg fried the manager refused to swop the 1.45 egg for me said that's not what I ordered bought the receipt to the till still refused. I was told I could 10per cent of a new egg. They kicked up a fuss refused to swop my egg got my order wrong What a complete joke completely delinquent staff. I've never been to a place where they treat customers like this

I like this restaurant. Although it's on the pricy side, the food is good and the workers are nice. However I don't get why they tell you to 'pick your table number and then order at the counter' because if you're dining solo, your table often gets taken by the time you've finished ordering. For example, today a rather rude lady was taking ages to order - so long that people left the queue angrily - and while I waited for her to finish my table was taken. I then chose another table and began to order, that was also taken by the time I was done. In the end, I just sat down where I could and waited for the food to find me. If the store is busy this isn't very practical. Note there is no wifi or signal in this store either.

This is my “go to” lunch place. It’s home from home! The staff are all friendly and welcoming. I would like to highly commend Niso who always go above and beyond with her lovely smile, efficiency and kind attitude. She’s very hardworking as are the other members of staff. I love coming here. It's a nice place to stop when you've been doing your shopping. The pastries and hot drinks are delicious and Nidhi is a gem. She always serves me with a smile and I can't recommend the cafe more

This place is becoming my favourite, it’s spacious, not always crowded and nice atmosphere overall. I always have an extra hot cappuccino oh my God it’s definitely the best cappuccino I’ve ever had especially if Nidhi does it, she is very nice, sweet and friendly barrister. You should try the mozzarella and basil sandwich is so yummy too. I have brought all my family members and friends to this place. The only downside is the internet it’s very weak in the whole area.

Waited over 20 minutes for a simple order of pancakes and bacon. When it arrived maple syrup already poured, no choice to do it myself. Bacon undercooked, pancakes raw and cold. Gone downhill. One saving point the cappuccino was hot but I’d drunk that before food arrived. Doubt I’ll return.

Visited this cafe twice now. I like the idea that you choose you table and then order and pay at the till instead of waiting for the bill. Their drinks are pretty good from their coffee blend to hot chocolate. Though it's nothing special. Their food is also tasty, I last ordered the mushrooms on toast with whipped feta. I will be trying to recreate this at home. It was lovely. Though there could be more vegan options on their menu as there were only 2 options that my friend could choose from.

We were regular visitors here, but we won't be visiting again. The service has really gone downhill. We had a large black hair in one of our meals, no apology, the waitresses lack common courtesy and initiative let alone training. They offered no apology, no suggestion of how to correct this for us. When raised with the manager again no apology, I had to ask for a refund and an apology. All the staff appear clueless and don't seem to care. The manager was rude. Food standard has gone down too, definitely trying to save money by smaller portions and less quality.

Lovely, classy coffee shop in the heart of Ealing. Good range of options and tons of seating with table service - a really great place to spend a couple of hours working. Kiran’s service in particular was a delight.

Really poor wi-fi and EE 4G cellular can’t been used in this restaurant . Nice environment and friendly staff if they improve the wi-fi service it will be super popular spot in this area. The pancakes poured too much maple syrup make it become disaster. Please consider to let the customer decide how much syrup they need.

I am just visiting the area and found this cafe online and decided to come in. I am so glad that I did. The latte was amazing and not too sweet and the services was amazing. Kiern and Helima were so sweet and made sure i got everything I need. I have been back 3x already.

We visited Jamaica Blue today, and speaking frankly was really disappointed. The lady on the till is new and doesn't have a clue about the menu or what she is selling. The chicken burger came with undercooked raw chips. I had a bacon and egg sandwich with an add-on fried egg. The egg was overcooked on the bottom, and it usually happens when you fry on high temperature - advice always start with a cold pan on a medium temp! We waited at least 30+ minutes to get the food, after 20 minutes, 1 lady came to me to ask how do I want cooked the eggs..seriously, why you don't ask when I order, no idea. It was really bad service, and it wasn't busy at all. May be 6-8 tables half of them served. The coffee was mediocre, in Pret or Costa can get much better coffee or service for much cheaper prices. Definitely, there is some room to improve

Good food and lovely service! The Eggs benedict was cooked well (though I would have like more mushrooms, but that is preference!). The font on the board was tiny - menu should be clearer to read. Overall nice place, with plenty of seating and good variety on the menu for brunch.

Well it was a good experience with Jamaica blues. I loved the coffee named blue mountain which was expensive but worth it and I also tried omelette filled savory croissant it was tasty and amazing. Thanks Jamaica blues.
