I am writing to express my disappointment with the service my partner and our nearly 2-year-old daughter received at your Ealing branch recently. On 5th Feb, my partner took our daughter to your restaurant, and unfortunately, she began to cry while sitting at the table. We understand that young children can sometimes become upset, but we were extremely disheartened by the way your staff handled the situation. A member of your team approached my partner and, rather than offering any support or understanding, rudely informed them that there had been a complaint about our daughter crying. This response was not only unhelpful but also quite distressing, causing my partner to feel uncomfortable and ultimately leave the premises with our daughter in tears. What is even more concerning is that, despite my attempts to resolve this issue, I have called several times and sent emails, but have yet to receive any form of response or acknowledgment from your team. This lack of communication is extremely disappointing and further reflects poorly on the customer service at your establishment. As a parent of a young child, it is vital to feel welcome and supported when dining out. Unfortunately, this experience has left us feeling upset and frustrated. I would not recommend your restaurant, especially to families with young children, given the way my partner was treated and the lack of follow-up since the incident. I kindly ask that you look into this matter and provide a response to address my concerns.

I come to this place twice and twice I had it very bad expierence.We order Cesar salad and there was so much souse in it that you can’t feel the salad !It is joke !!!!I asked them to talk to manager and they said I tryed and they will not taking back !Very expensive for nothing !Waste of money for trushy food and ice cream milksheik was just disgusting !!!Avoid avoid avoid !!!!! AVOID - Like many have said in previous posts, please read and avoid this place, for fear they will cheat you out of your right to want not only a refund for inedible food, but have the audacity to only offer you a replacement if you pay them even more money. Cake was inedible, both myself and my son could not even swallow it. Stoggy, undercooked orange sponge extremely bitter, that we had to spit out. Fit only for the bin Like many other reviews when we kindly asked for a simple swap to another cake, the staff member refused rudly to do that. This was inconceivable as she knew we were new customers looking to find a regular place in ealing to drink and eat. I then kindly asked for a refund or a swap, which she said was not allowed. I knew my customer statutory rights that allow me legally to do that. She refused to give me my money back. Perhaps she needed more training on the legal rights of her customers. She was however the manager, which was a shock as she should know the legal rights of her customers. All of this could have been avoided and i would have given the place a rave review if she had simply swapped my cake and taken on our feedback. Hopefully this place will be replaced with a much better outlet, servicing our comunity with a smile and great cake. If you would like to learn more about the legal rights your customers have please read the paragraph below. In the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives consumers the right to a refund for food that is poor quality, mislabeled, or not fit for purpose. I will be pursuing this at head office as i am sure they would like to know about my experience.

Came to Jamaica blue for the 10th time and both times Nidhi was so helpful, my daughter is very picky and she was very patient when we were ordering and went above ad beyond to give her what she wanted, I will definitely be coming back again. The food and service was 10/10.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered well-done eggs, but what I received was completely inedible and overly dry—far from what I expected. The rest of the food was subpar and lacked any semblance of quality. After we finished eating, I decided to provide feedback to the manager about the food. Instead of addressing my concerns, she dismissively replied, “You already finished eating, though.” This response was both unprofessional and disheartening. To make matters worse, when I asked to speak to the manager, she revealed that she was the manager but offered no real resolution or apology, leaving me even more frustrated. I left the restaurant feeling unheard and dissatisfied. If you’re looking for a place that values customer feedback and delivers quality food, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. One start is too good!

The food was not great as the meat was hard. As well I was disappointed when I ordered a tea (loose leaf)and got a normal tea bag. When I mentioned it to the staff, the manager offered me new tea (loose leaf) but I didn't ask about it. I always go to this place to get some peace and quiet and time to myself whenever I get the chance. The coffee is great! I would love to see some more veggie options on the menu, as I’m not a regular meat eater. Nidhi, the manager and staff are always warm, welcoming and helpful. I feel like a VIP whenever I visit, even if it’s just for coffee. Keep up the good service!

A few days ago, I visited Jamaica Blue Ealing with my friends, and I absolutely loved the experience! The food and coffee were exceptional, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Had a terrible experience this morning with the barista, I asked for a vegan hot chocolate explaining that I myself was vegan and was given a hot chocolate that I realised had dairy milk inside and took it back asking about this, I received the rudest response saying that I did not specify which milk I wanted therefore she decided to put dairy and “how was she supposed to know” even though I explained that I had asked for the drink to be vegan, clearly any alternative milk instead of dairy was fine to be used, this is not okay as this kind of attitude could cause harm to anyone who may have an allergy or specific dietary purposes and being spiteful over something very minute was unnecessary. When someone tells you they are vegan/would like something vegan friendly the last thing you do is put in anything that contains animal products just because you decided that’s how you wanted to behave when there were three other alternative milks to use.

Busy but slow to clear tables and the foods not the best I have had in the town centre.. Coffees decent enough but hard to find brown sugar in any pots on tables. Staff need to keep an eye on the toilets as not clean at all.

I had to think before writing review here in order to be fully fair with all my experience as a regular customer. Floor staff is amazing! They really are, always nice, helpful, friendly - the issue is a manger who probably doesn’t have much of experience working in customer service. He is incredibly rude and in my opinion head office should send him for training as he clearly doesn’t know basic skills needed for the job his is doing. I am not being sarcastic, I truly mean that if you send him on training maybe something will change as at the moment he doesn’t really know much about customer service, etiquette and how to speak to customers. Even though I was a regular, (I only ordered coffees this time but I had ordered their food quite few times before) I won’t came again, but truly believe this place has a potential if management get training or if it is replaced with someone more competent. PS a bit my mistake not to look clearly for a prices, but on the other hand on the table menu I couldn’t see price for an espresso, the prices should be clear in the menu as well. I probably should avoid discussion but prices are higher than in central London boutique cafe's. So worth checking to see where is the limit in terms of coffee prices :)

I've been here a few times and never had a bad cup of coffee or meal. Nicely situated in the shopping centre, it gives you a chance to catch your breath and people watch for a while. The coffee was hot and just what I needed, and the chicken souvlaki was presented quickly and was nice and tasty. The staff are friendly, the place is clean, what more could you want?

Extra, extra, read all about it! Halfway through my important meeting my call has dropped. I'm thinking it's me and my device so I reset it - having raised it with one of the staff members (rather apologetic and a kind chap) who mentions that its a known issue within the cafe, so i decide to share my experience with the manager who is unwilling to listen and justifying that its not their problem. ****Reality check moment**** It is your problem as you are misleading customers by advertising WiFi as a selling point of your service - be honest and upfront that we offer the WiFi roulette where it really is pot luck but a high chance your meeting will be interrupted and our WiFi crash. I was a pretty regular customer here but I shall not be returning again due to the incompetence of the manager (Nidhi). The manager clearly lacks any empathy and continues to be defensive around issues which are within their control. The last couple of times - their WiFi has cut on me, whilst I could mistake it for a glitch the first time, unfortunately this time around it's confirmed that they're unwilling to do anything about it. Why have a cafe and claim to offer WiFi when you clearly aren't able to meet basic needs of the customer which is connectivity? Then defending it and blaming the local postcode and for me to complain to the council if I had an issue? Then not being willing to resolve the matter by stating 'if you're not happy then don't come back, this is my shop' all as a response to me gently raising a concern around my expectations not being met and as a result I simply went down the road to ARISE (black and yellow cafe) where I was able to get coverage without interruption. Worth having a read of the other reviews as something clearly is the common denominator here: you guessed it - it's the management. Recommendations: Remove the WiFi service advertisement as part of your premises and hire a new manager. Continue this way and you really have a bleak future. AVOID THIS PLACE! Please note: Their immature response to my complaint sums it all up. They're a clown's hat short of being a circus. I'll be sure to pass the word around as a local guide.

It looks very nice on the outside, and the cappuccino was excellent. However, the Korean BBQ burger which they are promoting, almost cost me my life. I got terrible adverse allergic reaction, skin allergy rashes, and never in my life did I have any allergies. I am from Europe, and am well-traveled. I have been to most of Europe, East and Southeast Asia, Middle East and North America, and it never happened to me before. I am not sure whether it's because of the poor hygiene, rubbery low-quality chicken full of hormones, or because they use some spices foreign to the European continent. Also, if you notice, their replies to all the 1-star reviews are negative and not indicative of someone who knows how to work in customer service. Please respect the people who pay your salary and learn from your reviews, instead of attacking people for expressing their feedback. I am happy I did not get salmonella here. Kindly adhere to the hygiene standards in your area, as other people's lives depends on that. Thank you.

We went to JB today as they welcome dogs, the food was OK the price £15 for a burger & chips, atmosphere was good mix of people from all ages. We have had coffee here many times and spend a lot and service is nothing to rave about and coffee is ok. We came here today around 9.45am and the cafe is near empty. I sat down and decided to give my baby food so my coffee does not get cold. I was jumped on by a lady who asks me if i am changing my baby's nappy! I am holding cheese so was a bit confused. She tells me i need to order now or leave. Still shocked about the changing comment i said let me give her some cheese and I will order breakfast too. She says no thats not allowed. I said my coffee will get cold then her manager who has seen me many times says to me leave coz we are busy now. THE PLACE WAS EMPTY!!! The whole experience ruined my day and i just went home afterwards very upset. Their coffee is worse than costa and they are behaving like they are Michlin star establishment! Dont bother with this place coz they dont respect people with children. Their response to above comment is - i always come here and feed my baby and dont order anything! Shocking that you see all muslim women with hijab as the same. I have been coming there before i even had a baby. Its now obvious with your response thatyou have targeted me coz of my religion. Disgraceful racist establishment you are. I wont come and I will tell everyone I know about your treatment to muslims.

The atmosphere is what you make it, but I don't like snobby Karens and this place looked like it attracted those types of people. The food was presented portioned and seasoned well. You can ask for turkey bacon which is halal. A staff member in the headscarf greatly assisted me by informing me of which menu items are halal and which are not. You're not going to be spending peanuts because you're paying for quality. The picture I have posted in this review cost me roughly £48. There were two bottles of sparkling water which are not in the photo.

I went there the other day to have some bacon pancakes. While I was enjoying my meal. While I was enjoying my meal a waiter brought me some coffee. I did not order coffee. But I thought it was a nice gesture. Or a part of the meal. About 2 minutes later. The waiter comes again the way the coffee that I was just drinking. Even though I was halfway through it. He took it away. I thought was quite strange granted I did not order it but still. You give me something and then take it away while I'm consuming it. That's not very good customer services.😕

Soul-less place that offers ridiculously expensive beverages and low quality food served by apathetic staff. I’m sorry to write this review but man do they need it. The girl that took my order at the till looked like she was doing me a favor to order me food - a smile really wouldn’t hurt you know, it makes people feel welcome. I would have ignored that if at least I got the eggs I ordered for my child: fried. They managed to bring them scrambled, after which we were so hungry we just ate what we got. My child’s breakfast was SAD: the rash of bacon he got was the most minuscule portion of pale bacon I have seen in my life. The sausage was very low quality, they kind you usually get in very cheap “builders cafes”. My veggie roll had mostly rucola and pickled onions rather than avocado or eggs and the halloumi was barely cooked. 1 kids breakfast 1 veggie sandwich 1 cappuccino =£24 If you think that’s the right price you don’t deserve the money you earn.

Very rude manager, triggered my anxiety and almost made me cry. I’ve never ever experienced something like this in any establishment I’ve been to. I’ve never left a bad review before either because I like to forgive and forget, but I want to save other people from the same pain and humiliation we went through. Me and my friends were having a reunion brunch here. However, it all went downhill as there was some miscommunication between my friend and the person at the till, so the wrong order was put through. When the wrong food was brought my friend said she didn’t order that, a big fuss was kicked up. The manager refused to give her the food and said she would have to pay another £9 for the other dish, when she had already paid £9! She wouldn’t even let her pay the difference. So my friend paid and didn’t get any food. When asking the manager about this she started saying that it’s her restaurant and she won’t just replace someone’s food if there’s a mistake, and that she doesn’t care if we left a bad review. She was so rude and my friend didn’t have anything to eat and I felt so anxious I was shaking. My friend was so teary eyed I wanted to cry too :( It’s still making me anxious and has affected my mental health. What was meant to be a wholesome happy weekend turned into a nightmare because of this experience.

Nidhi is the best as a manager I have even seen. Keep it up all the members. We would love to have coffee only from her. The best lattes ever she served with whole her love. Other members are so helpful and kind as well. Definitely recommend this to everyone.

First time here liked the appeal of the inside so went in for a lunch..menu was interesting prices were reasonable but most of all the food was amazing..great taste generous portions friendly staff. We ordered Turkish eggs with sourdough naan and I loved it I ordered veg sausages as extra and they were tasty we also ordered the shakshuka that also had a great fresh taste too.For dessert I had the carrot and pistachio cake and it tasted very nice not to sweet..then had to have a latte with a rich fluffy texture and strong taste..loved the meal will definitely go again...

Appalling customer service and rude staff. Avoid this place. The manager Nidhi, is especially rude, patronising, and totally unprofessional—she should not be in a customer-facing role. She clearly has no idea how to speak to or treat paying customers, and her staff aren’t any better. I was shouted at in front of other customers and treated with zero respect. I’ve worked in customer service for years and would never dream of shouting at a customer over a simple mistake. I’ve NEVER been treated this badly in public. While mistakes can happen, such as my order being mixed up, the way it was handled was unacceptable. The waitress must have misheard me, entered the wrong order, and proceeded to serve it. When I pointed out that I hadn’t ordered the dish, she responded in a condescending manner, insisting that I ‘100% must have ordered that dish,’ which I most certainly had not. After speaking with the manager, the waitress told me that I couldn’t change my order and would have to eat what was served. She then offered me the option of paying the price difference to receive the dish I originally ordered, to which I agreed. However, when I went to the counter to pay, the rude manager told me I could not order another dish, claiming I had ‘admitted to the misunderstanding,’ which apparently meant I couldn’t change my order or pay the difference. I was left without food, and the manager showed no concern whatsoever. I left hungry, humiliated and deeply upset. Nidhi’s behaviour, along with that of her staff, is shockingly unprofessional. One of the waitresses even mentioned that they regularly receive complaints about the manager, so be warned. Even her own staff don't want to work there. No customer should ever be made to feel this way. I strongly advise against coming here as there are plenty of other lovely cafés in Ealing that offer far better service. This is not the first time I have witnessed such behaviour. I’ve seen other customers being shouted at by the manager on previous occasions, which was equally shocking. I was never given the option to receive a refund.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Absolutely unacceptable experience. I recently visited this restaurant with a friend and was seated near the till where I overheard an appalling interaction between a customer and the manager. The customer politely explained that her order was incorrect and had already been paid for, but the manager showed complete indifference. What shocked me the most was that, rather than resolving the issue, the manager flatly denied her the food she had rightfully paid for. I was absolutely baffled and horrified by this blatant disregard for basic customer service. It’s one thing for a mistake to happen, but it’s entirely another for management to respond with such rudeness and dismissiveness. If this is how they treat customers who have already paid, I am deeply concerned about how they might treat anyone else in a similar situation. The lack of professionalism and basic decency here is staggering. I strongly urge others to avoid this restaurant—there are plenty of better brunch spots in Ealing that prioritise customer service and foster a more welcoming, respectful atmosphere.

I had lunch at the ealing branch and I really enjoyed the food than I came back for more, i had the American/English breakfast, (yummy)and the service was excellent, I was welcome at the entrance the first time by a very polite girl (Shelu)and the second time I was told at the till, veri apologetic that the food may take about 20 minutes because it was really busy, my food arrived with in 10 minutes, (great)and again my food was delicious, and (Shelu)who was working again that day and came to say hello, thank you all at Jamaica blue Ealing, great place great food and excellent service 😀 👍 😊 🙂 😄

Absolutely awesome sandwich!! Loved the richness of flavours, the chorizo and the melted mozzarella with all the red peppers just complimented each other. Liked the carrot cake, not too sweet, but not mad about the sunflower seeds on top, would’ve been nicer if it was walnuts or pecan nuts. Overall, really nice place to sit and enjoy some good food. Will definitely be back ☕️

When Jamaica blue opened in Telford shopping centre it was fantastic brilliant atmosphere lovely professional nice staff food absolutely delicious and the Jamaica blue coffee exceptional my fave coffee of all time we looked forward to getting our lunch and relish coffee worth the money however visited today hardly any customers we sat down at a table which was absolutely filthy a previous customers coffee cups and half eaten food on plates still there ok maybe the staff were busy I thought I went to order 2 coffees a cake and a tuna melt ciabatta the lady serving me looked pissed off was not friendly at all was quite intimidating completed the order sat down a young man came over and brought the 2 coffees which tone fair we’re good thank god he then moved the dirty plates an cups off our table however did not clean an already filthy table see photos crumbs bits of leftover food from hours previous from other previous customers it was unhygienic and dirty then my tuna melt ciabatta was plonked down on the table with my wife’s lemon yogurt cake the tuna melt was not good obviously microwaved the cress was left at the side of the tuna melt looking like a green messy mulch disgusting it’s a shame this once lovely well run nice staffed café has gone down hill with obvious complacency very sad still loved the coffee though shame about the tepid microwaved tuna melt and dry lemon yoghurt cake the service the cleanliness and the pissed off member of staff was not worth the £17.80 cost hopefully the Jamaica blue management kick the staff up the back side toget back to a 5 star café and service

I recently visited Jamaica Blue in Ealing for the first time, and I was really impressed. I had a different idea of what to expect, but it turned out to be so much more than just a café. I loved the concept, they offer more than just great coffee. The dishes were made with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The service was amazing; the staff were friendly and joyful, making the experience even better. Overall, Jamaica Blue is much more than a typical café. I highly recommend it!

Sadly this pub/restaurant is now closed .I went there with my family aged 12 to 76 . The menu had very good choices of starters mains and desserts. The food was beautifully cooked. The service was excellent, friendly but not overbearing or hurried. The pub is a very clean quaint old English pub with nooks and crannies. My brother and son loved the fact it was a free house and had a good selection of ales and beers. I will defiantly be going back for another meal on my next family visit to the Telford area.( 2014 )

Slow service, seemed to be 2 members of staff hanging a round the bar and only one serving. Bar area very cold. Asked to move tables because the one we sat at was reserved (no reserved sign) in the hour I was there no one used the table
