A brummie who is no dummie at bringing pure culinary fire to the pan. I highly recommend this food which comes with excellent service!

Was a pleasant surprise to find a Carribean restaurant here. Something for everyone on the menu. Very tasty and reasonably priced.

A really good find only Caribbean cafe in the north highlands to my knowledge and well worth a visit there’s something for everyone me and my partner had a couple of burgers I like spice and enjoyed the bad mama Jama sauce while my partner is less keen on hot food and found the wussy sauce to be very tasty but not too hot for her. Service was snappy and chefs were friendly would recommend the smoked fries!

Couldn’t take the dog in so sat outside. Not a problem but as a wrap a burger and 2 coffees took an hour!! It started to rain we had it to take away. There was only half a cup of coffee in each, which was barely warm. The food was tasty but somewhat liquid wrap.. I wasn’t impressed. Mostly as we were told 15 minutes at ordering then the waiter tried to give us someone else’s drinks.. (wish I taken them!) another 50 minutes later still nothing had arrived.

The Jam Fire is a fabulous wee find. Great service. Caribbean food all freshly prepared and delicious. Reasonably priced. Dog friendly too which is always a bonus. Highly recommend.

Great little coffee shop with so many goodies to try. Lovely lady served us and chatted about the bakery. She made a couple of new friends who were more than happy to sample the sausages.

Good food. Always quick to resolve any issues in my experience and open to substitutions/changes to menu items upon request where it's possible. Nice welcoming atmosphere. Maybe a little on the expensive side.

Food and service were good. The ambience has absolutely nothing to do with a restaurant. It was freezing cold and the radiator running didn't make much difference other than noise. You should dress warmly.

Stayed for one night, as a couple, on 31/12/24. Checked in and was advised there was to be a Hogmanay party at the hotel that night. This was the first time we'd been informed. We went out for a meal and onto our own function in Nairn. We returned at 2am and the party still seemed to be ongoing. Around 3am pandemonium broke out with screaming shouting, banging doors, people running around outside our room and in the room above us, similar with furniture scraping across the floor constant running and slamming doors. We knew it was Hogmanay but this was out of hand. On repeatedly phoning reception and sending messages there was no response. By 345am it was getting worse and again no response was had to repeated calls. We eventually managed some form of sleep by about 530am. On check out a waitress asked if we wanted breakfast and we said we were too tired and going home and wanted to make a complaint. She said she'd let the manager know. No manager came, no response has been had to numerous calls and messages on landlines and mobile and they are clearly avoiding acceptance of any responsibility. Regardless of any specific event or night it may have been, the experience was awful to endure and the non response by the property speaks volumes of how much they care about their guests.....still trying to get a response from them 8 days later, not holding my breath!!!
