We ate here on our first night in Saltburn and it was ok, the food was good, the staff were helpful if a little unwilling to chat. The food was as ordered and the portions were good sized. I did feel a little rushed but this could have been due to the fact we were the only diners at the time.

the food here was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were just right. we arrived shortly after opening at around 5:10 and our food was very quick to arrive at the table after ordering. although many of the curries contain cream, i was able to order the vegetable balti bhuna without cream - making it vegan for me. the waiter was very attentive and helpful and was also quick to let me know that the naans are not vegan when i tried to order one, which i very much appreciated. there are a couple of things that i think could be improved about this place such as the fact that the food hygiene rating is only 4, but other than that it's a wonderful restaurant. i really enjoyed my food here and would return.

We visited the restaurant after reading the many rave reviews. The staff are really friendly, the restaurant is clean and tidy, so absolutely no complaints there. The food took 1hr to be served (whilst we were concerned, we thought it was going to be excellent and freshly cooked), but in the time between ordering and being served we saw dozens of take-away meals coming out. When the food arrived it was served and presented well, but that's where the positives end. It wasn't great at all and not what we've come to expect of good Indian food. The breads were greasy, two of the three the dishes were sweet (we didn't order deserts, we ordered curry) and the meat in all of our meals was very dry. We don't like leaving negative feedback, but the reviews we read clearly didn't reflect our own experience. We hope this offers a little perspective to those that might choose to visit in future.

Yet another fabulous evening with the guys at Jaboo! The quality of their dishes are second to none! Try the lamb tikka starter, it’s sublime! As for mains, I went for the chef’s specialty ***chillie dish ( I’ve forgotten the name of it!) and that was also superb! We are always greeted with a warm welcome, and the charming waiting staff are so gracious. They also beat try to beat you to the door when you leave, so that they can open it for you, who else does that nowadays? See you all again soon!

Absolutely outstanding from start to finish! The greeting was first class, as we were welcomed by a polite and well dressed front of house guy. After being shown to our table, the menus arrived. A precise and compact menu offering Indian favourites along with a few unusual dishes! Everything was “top drawer”. What impressed me the most was not only the freshness and succulent lamb and chicken, but the depth and flavour of all the sauces ( not at all watery, like so many Indian restaurants seem to send out) The reviews to date speak volumes about the place. You would be crazy if you didn’t give this place a go.

The restaurant was full, we had to wait 20 mins for a table 8:15 pm on New Years eve, it had a very warm and chilled atmosphere, all the customers were friendly and reserved (just how I like it). Chef as always was happy to adjust the heat of most things on the menu. The front of house staff were very friendly and attentive and nothing is too much for them. I look forward to returning

A great friendly restaurant in the centre of Saltburn, offering a nice range of Indian cuisine. Every dish was served piping hot, delivered very quickly and portioned just right. They have a small but nice range of wines and beers, its certainly a restaurant you should visit if staying in Saltburn or the local area

A hidden gem it is located in one of the heritage buildings on Milton Street, tonight it was raining very hard and you can stand under the victorian glass veranda outside the restaurant and appreciate the rain while staying dry. I have been here a few times now, it is very clean food is excellent and so are the staff, it now feels like home. Food heat (spice) can be adjusted as the food is cooked freshly, they have a good range on offer but can make you something off menu as they did for one of my friends tonight. We were a large party and they coped very well with us all, at one point there was only one spare seat in the whole restaurant and they were one waiter down due to weather. Everyone liked the food and will return Well worth a visit.

Absolute garbage. Garlic Naan bread like I have never seen the like of before, basically a flatbread smeared in green paste. Curry swimming in grease and no flavour. I wish I had taken a picture of the bread. Disgusting waste of money. All ended up in the bin.

Walked in at 10.30pm on a Friday evening and asked for a table for 4, jabba the hut who was on duty this evening did not seem to be so accommodating and promptly told us they were shutting in 45 minutes. No offer of a table or option to order quickly just a blank look. She/it then went to liaise with a more senior member to ask if we could eat there. It still never actually conversed with us to confirm if eating in a restaurant was feasible or not! Needless to say we walked out never to return, shame as the food looked and smelt really good!
