If not the worst tasteless slop I’ve ever tasted, take yourself away from this take away and go somewhere elsewhere, yukkk

Literally tasteless food! Had a chicken curry, that was gravy based and so much salt! Was rancid!!! No curry whatsoever! do not eat here

Low effort okay food sums up this place . I don't mind small portions of chinnese if your going to make up it up with sauce or quality but unfortunately the noodles here did nether . Service was fast and the food was okay just lacked flavour . I get the feels this place is probably okay , but honestly if you want good Chinese on the island you may be best looking for somewhere that respects it's customer base more . Some Chinese's surrive on location , others on offers and some surrive on quality . This place don't seem bothered because there must be enough demand locally.

Waited over an hour and the poorly cooked and sauce fridge cold. I had to microwave when I got home.

Delicious Chinese food cooked freshly to order. Friendly staff, generous portions of tasty food. Highly recommend for a takeaway.

This is not Chinese food: it's something made by someone who's heard that there's such a thing as Chinese food, and has then gone to Tesco's, got everything from the "Asian Food" section, and combined it randomly. I think. Or perhaps the chef is deaf, blind, and has no sense of smell or touch. Our visit was actually in 2019: this website doesn't allow dates that early to be selected.

Omg how can l discribe this awful food. The chinese that we were recomended didnot open until weds so being hungry we decided to choose this one Well the food was delivered and the bag had a slight smell of fish to it any way l thought l would get the plates ready light a candle and get ready for a romantic night on our holiday boat. Anyway we were left quite speechless as the 3 meals we ordered had no taste or flavours it was awful we threw it in the bin and went hungry Im sure you need a new chef🤨l dont usually complain l hope you sort it out

My take away was dreadful. The sauce for two dishes was gloopy and actually 'set' in the container because it was so full of thickening agent. The dishes were so bland as to be almost tasteless. I went to pick it up at the agreed time only to have to wait another 15 minutes during which nobody else came in or left. Why the wait, especially as the food was warm rather than hot when it eventually arrived? If you do get a meal here, despite all the negative reviews, at least make sure you check the temperature of the foil containers before leaving the premises.

We went in for a lovely Chinese takeaway and walked out with three tubs of ..... Well I don’t know! Noodles so over cooked and tasteless. Was meant to be spicy and no meat etc to be seen Crispy beef should be renamed as ‘bending grey beef. ‘The whole meal so bad it went in the bin and we went to bed hunger Why is this place still trading!!!!

We didn’t find the food very nice bit slimy took ages to cook wasn’t impressed at all. We won’t be going back

Asked for no onion as i am allergic and got this, onion in the meal i pacifically asked for it not to be in and a tray of onions wtf

Pork balls tasted like they were cooked yesterday and were luke warm cold sweet and sour Chicken curry was like chicken onion and mushrooms in thin gravy

Food is just discusting run down never eat there again looks like something you see on only fools an horses Chinese

How the hell are they sill open I couldn’t give it zero as T/A wouldn’t let me 2 spoons full put it in the bin wouldn’t even give it to my 2 dogs I wouldn’t subject then to that as I’d be done for cruelty to animals

Well worth a visit. Food cooked fresh to order (and not expensive !) So tasty...definitely going back !

Very disappointed as we order at 7pm for delivery at 8.15. We rang at 8.25 to be told the delivery would be another 1 hour. Extremely annoyed. Don’t commit to timing if you can’t deliver. You did not call us to tell us it was late. Extremely bad service and will never call again.

Ordered a take away at 7pm. Phoned at 8.30 as food and not arrived. Phoned and were told would be a further hour until delivery. Shocking customer service. Did not try to to arrange food quicker. Would never use again. Very disappointed.

This has to be the worst of the worst food wouldnt even feed to my cat..paid alot of money for so was expecting it to be edible ,delicious and well worth the money .what we got was runny curry ,pork balls that werent your usual golden colour more like a rusty colour .if your coming to bembridge i would advise toblook around for a decent chinese..poor poor quality

Well my my I thought I had seen the worst of the worst but this place has proved m wrong !! £70 on food and totally vile , avoid this place at all costs. Trust me buy at your peril

Unfortunatly we found the food to be really tasteless...the lemon chicken and chicken balls tasted exactly the same, the rice was awful and the curry had no flavour....we enjoyed the prawn crackers! Unfortunatly we wouldnt recommend this chinease takeaway :(

We went to Bembridge for our fishing break and got food from here 3 times in the week we stayed. I have to say the food was lovely and the staff friendly.

Great Chinese dishes, much improved with the new chef of 2016 and a lovely place to dine in aswell. Staff really look after you and food is always fast and piping hot when you order a takeaway.

The food at Jade Garden is the best Chinese food I have tasted.The menu is broad, containing not only the standard favourites, but also Thai and Malaysian dishes.

We normally have chicken balls in sweet and sour and crispy beef. When we tried other dishes eg, curry or the ribs, it was not very nice.

The order came very quickly and staff were friendly. I had the chicken fried rice which was tasty as always. I can't say much for other foods as that's all I had - but the rest of my party seemed satisfied with their meals!

Pedí un plato de Jade Garden hace 2 días. Teníamos media pato crujiente, champiñones, Pollo chow chow mein, arroz frito especial mein, salsa dulce y amarga. Esperábamos que el bonito, grueso, dulce, salsa hoisin. La salsa que nos dieron era más como salsa, realmente estaban aguados, y no es agradable en absoluto. Mis hijos no quieren comer más tortitas de pato (su favorito), lo cual era un fastidio. Chow mein insípida el pollo, como el sabor de hongos. El arroz era normal. También me dio molestias estomacales a la mañana siguiente. Regularmente chino orden de vuelta a casa (Bexhill, East Sussex), y el Jade Garden fue la peor que hemos tenido, mi esposa está de acuerdo. Nos costó £32, ojalá me hubiera pedido de otra por la carretera. No recomendado, necesitan hacer mejoras, de lo contrario la competencia local le ponerlos fuera de negocios.

Siempre tenemos la comida china de aquí cuando nos alojamos en un parque de vacaciones así que volvimos de nuevo este año.

Called by for a takeaway on the way home simply because there was not much else open on Boxing day night.

Llamé a esta llevar como yo estaba conduciendo pasado, pedí pollo arroz frito, dulce y amargo pollo estilo Hong Kong y crujientes Chilie pollo con salsa.

Love the food from here, we have it delivered to our caravan on Nodes Point. Always delivered at the time we ask for and very polite people.

I'm a huge fan of chinese food, this food was great, just had soup and jade garden rice, but it was exceptional. Interesting place as staff weren't very welcoming, friendly or anything else but it doesn't matter so much if the food is good :-)

On holiday and this was the nearest Chinese, it was very tasty, ready in good time and was all pipping hot. Highly recommend

Timings were spot on for collection. Food for four was great and we really enjoyed the pork chow mein. Quality was good and just what you need after a tough day at the beach! Good value for money.

Ordered food for 6 and was told 20 minutes. 20 minutes later all ready for collection and what a tasty meal we all had.Never had a bad meal from here and will be back in October when all back on the island. Good value, good taste and good price. :)

been there twice foods ok! but got home to find got wrong stuff,pork noodle dos,nt quite taste like roast pork curry,back to ryde!

If you want a tasty Chinese takeaway menu I cannot fault this establishment. They only do takeaway as there is no restaurant area but that said the quality and value is outstanding.

After a few social drink in the village pub we decided to grab a Chinese from the takeaway next door as it was convenient. I wished I hadn't. The place looked grubby and dated but most takeaways do. The price seemed ok and the waiting time reasonable. By the time we got the food home it was cold and the indescribable slop was inedible. We ordered beef and black bean with egg fried rice, chicken chow mein and spring rolls. There was more grease and oil than a mechanics hands and it taste almost rancid. It was hard to eat and most was left. Jade garden needs to up its game if it wants to encourage customers.

Have been using this takeaway for years, We always get a friendly welcome and really good freshly prepared food, Would recommend the sweet and sour chicken and the chow mein which are our favourites.

Had a takeaway from this Chinese a few days ago. Family run establishment. They are always very friendly. Reasonably priced food. They have competition from other Chinese in village. This Chinese doesn't such a large menu but what it does offer is nice. We had spare ribs, rice, beef with mushrooms and sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style. Some of it nicer than others but overall tasty. They offer home delivery now too. We will use this takeaway again.
