This is a great venue and wonderful food it is just unfortunate that they don't deliver. Really believe it would benefit them and us if they engaged in a delivery option.

Cold dry food avoid! Ordered meals for 4 of us on recommendation, served pretty quickly but the food was awful. Dry cold and likely pre prepared. Avoid.

Very disappointing meal from Jade which was a shame. The won ton were lovely but the rest of the food was cold and dry. The duck was dry as a bone and the hoisin sauce given was only enough to make 3 pancakes. Such a shame as I’ve heard great things about this restaurant.

We all went there waiting for ages got the order wrong and some was like warm and they said was because they were packed hardly any one in there some meals where burt and some was undertook won't be going there again

Tried the Jade this evening for takeaway for the first time based on reviews here, thank you! Ordered online, food ready on time when we arrived, generous portions and all really nice food. Prices reasonable, will be visiting again.

Have been going here for years food always first class would recommend it to anyone but you might need to book to eat in also take your own booze but not soft drinks

Since moving here, this has now replaced our previous favourite Chinese restaurant/takeaway. The food has always tasted delicious, been ready at the time stated and this along with the host, Elaine, has always ensured that both first and last impressions are excellent.

Can’t fault the staff and timing but the food was warm not hot and not nice at all. I like my crispy chilli beef to look and taste like that, not like a spicy gravy. Also the crispy spring rolls had been made with some dodgy curried meat. As I said staff were lovely no issues there at all. Second time We have tried here incase first time was a bad day and would not go again. Will stick the amazing Choices in Birkenhead, now they can do a crispy chilli beef!

Best chinese I've had for ages, downside was cash only which wasn't mentioned at time of ordering. Had to get money from newsagents as the cash point was broken which involved buying a bar of chocolate to get cashback. Hence the three stars.

Went in last week after ordering over the phone told it would be ready at 7pm well I don't appreciate waiting 35 minutes longer so won't be going back.

Always had great take away food from Jade’s and such lovely friendly staff too. I would definitely recommend anyone to go here.

The special Chow mein is the best I've ever had from a takeaway. I can never usually eat sweet and sour as it is always too sweet and sickly. However, Jade's sweet and sour sauce is gorgeous - much lighter and tastier. The duck was beautifully cooked also. Keep it up guy's!

Ordered King Prawn, Chicken and Beef Curry... Green pepper and Beef in Black Bean Sauce... Fried rice and some chips... Very nice food.. Hot and cooked very well.. All for £17...no complaints here-young girl serving very helpful and attentive also👍

If you’re looking for clean and tasty Cantonese/Chinese takeaway then this is absolutely the place to visit. Elaine the owner along with her family and staff are great and make you feel welcome. Never had a bad meal from here and 100% recommend it

The dishes are nice, the food is reasonably priced and the service is very very good. Typically go here on a Sunday when there's no other chippies open for a take-away :)

We bought a good variety of Chinese meals from Jade for a family get together. The food was excellent quality and some of the nicest we have ever eaten. I'd highly recommend Jade for takeaways.

Just had a very poor take away. Most of it had been cooked much earlier. The ribs and chicken were tough as old boots ... hardly any meat on ribs. Lemon chicken was soggy and presented on brown lettuce . The crispy duck and seaweed were ok. Altogether very disappointing.

Food was excellent and service with a smile. I would definitely recommend it if you like Chinese food.

Tonight was our first time visiting but what a great little find this is, we will definitely be back. The food was absolutely gorgeous and plentiful too. The service was also great. We went with our 10 month old daughter and they could not do enough for us. The lady made such a fuss of her and even brought a plate out for her to try some food. Love that you can take your own alcohol. We’ll definitely do this next time. Cash payments only but there is a card machine a few doors down so it wasn’t a problem. We’ll be returning soon!

Arrived at 6.15 to deck out the eating area with balloon, and Birthday posters. The Chinese banquet was ordered for about 7pm for 13 diners. The hot and sour soup was hot. We then had ribs followed by a procession of dishes. There was so much food that there was a fair bit left at the end. This was put into containers for the Birthday Girl to take home. Elaine the proprietor was asking if everything was fine. She also brought in the Birthday cake and we sang happy birthday.My daughter was very happy at the way things had gone.

We have eaten here numerous times and are never disappointed. Everything we have ever tried has been excellent quality, very tasty and plentiful. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and the owners Elaine and her husband make all their customers feel valued. Highly recommended.

This is a working man's Chinese restaurant. If you walk into this place expecting fancy cuisine, then you're going to be disappointed. The prices reflect that as well. My go to dish is Mongolian Beef over rice and have tried it all over the city. I've paid $16 for an okay dish of it. At Jade Cafe, its a tad under $9.00 and its delicious. The service is fast so its a great place to sit down and grab a quick bite to eat without emptying your bank account. Its a no frills, old school, Chinese restaurant.

A go to neighborhood Cantonese Chinese restaurant. Very hard to beat in this neighborhood. They always seem to have bitter melon for ordering. I always seem to over order when I come here, this time I ordered to go. Their food is consistently cooked very flavorful and unlike some other Chinese restaurants relying on the same vegetables for the go to filler, this restaurant always give you what you ordered without a lot of fillers. It's hard to order anything that I felt was not good here,

Excellent food. We all enjoyed our meals and crispy duck was very nice and highly recommended. The Kung Po sauce with chicken - lots if chicken - nicely hot and tasty. Good price too. Four people, two courses and soft drink £55. Two things to be aware of. It is a small place and does look more like a cafe this took us by surprise but we were very glad to have eaten there. Secondly, it is a bring your own alcohol place. Nevermind, we will no next time. The food is so good there will be a 'next time' even if it is to get a take away. Don't be put off by the appearance - give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

Food is really good and the staff are friendly though the time it takes to deliver the order is dreadful. I was told my order would be ready to collect in 25 minutes and arrived at the restaurant to collect it 30 minutes later. A full 30 minutes later, I was still waiting in the restaurant. Other customers arrived after me and received their orders before I did, including one customer who arrived a good 15-20 minutes after I did. Not quite sure what's going on. Do they not cook the food until you arrive or do they prioritise customers who place their order in the restaurant and push back phone orders? It's unfortunate as the food is very nice, but the service is chaotic. Realistic time frame for collection is needed - an hour would have been fine, but waiting around in the restaurant for 30 minutes isn't.

The Jade as the name implies is a real gem of a place, tucked away in a small block of shops in Greasby, Wirral. It is the kind of place that once discovered many are afraid to share with others lest it becomes very popular and difficult to obtain future bookings. It is only open 4 evenings a week, has about 20 covers in its petite restaurant and probably relies on its brisk telephone take away orders for its main income, but the food and service are as good as most and better than many other Wirral eateries.

The Jade for those that do not now is a take away first and foremost . However they have fitted a few tables for those that have booked to sit , order, and actually as its not licences you can bring your own drinks. The food is excellent , fresh , hot , tasty fare .

I’ve only had a pre ordered take away. When you call to collect, in the short time of waiting the premises are always full with diners who all appear to be enjoying their meals. The fact they also take in their own drinks enhances the ambience. I must try it as a restaurant. The quality of the take away is very good.

I am very happy to have tried Jade. I live in West Kirby and normally get a take out from Hoylake. Decided to try something new. Opted for Jade based on reviews from Trip Adviser. Very pleased I did. Had a banquet last night for my daughter’s birthday. Delicious. Much better than the other places. Substantial portion sizes, good value for money. And the lady who served me when I went to collect was fantastic. Only down side was the food standards hygiene rating when I checked it on line, 3 stars in March (which is why I have rated 4 out of 5). However, I trust this has been addressed since then, as everything else was so good. Thank you Jade and staff. I will be back, and I will be recommending you to my friends. Louise

Jade is a hidden gem on the Wirral. Though it is a takeaway restaurant, the food is absolutely wonderful. Elaine (the manager) is extremely friendly and helpful! I've visited the restaurant six times and I've never been disappointed. I especially recommend the king prawn curry and the beef chow mein! By the way, my partner is a vegetarian and I can say they serve great veggie food as well.

The best take-away Chinese cuisine in the area - bar none! And if you want to eat in - a relaxed informal cafe-bar area. Consistently good - what more can I say!

This was my second visit to Jade, the first with my wife and this particular group of friends. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked through the door, I could see that there were a lot of regulars both dining and waiting for takeaway which is always a good sign. The impression I got was that they were treated more as friends who happen to be paying for their food which was a nice touch.

Chinese meals here must be best on Merseyside. Staff always friendly and helpful. We get takeaway, ring up and book order r as it can get busy.

Had many meals from the jade, take away and eaten in always well cooked and really lovely. If you eat in you can take your own alcohol, it’s nice to take a bottle of wine and relax. The only one criticism is it’s always so busy so recommend people to phone order through. The food is definitely however worth the wait best Chinese in this area.

You will always get a good meal at JADES - go for beef black bean, chicken curry or satay and salt n pepper chicken wings - heavenly
