Lovely lunch of toasted sandwiches, with tea and espresso. Gluten Free options very good, and included a GF biscuit with the tea.

Recently visited Jacqueline’s tea rooms for a family lunch. On arrival we were pleasantly greeted and quickly taken to a table. Our waitress was Hannah, who took our order quickly, correctly and she was so attentive to our requirements, that we tipped more than we usually would. A fantastic place to eat lunch, with a great vibe! Would definitely recommend ❤️

Terrible customer service from Hannah. Absolutely no interest in attending to customer needs. Rude. Unaccommodating. Was the first time been there, looked lovely from the outside - and the inside devote is sweet and inviting. But will be the last time too… Hannah the hostess/waitress/manager needs to be sent on a course on How to win in the hospitality industry.

Lovely Tea Rooms where you can enjoy a light lunch, or a piece of homemade cake, or both ! A cosy and welcoming place, which I would recommend to anyone, and especially if you are on a glutenfree diet. The staff are very welcoming and obliging. I forgot to mention from the start that I have a glutenfree diet and when I asked about the crisp onions in the salad, the cook offered to replace my salad for a glutenfree one, even though I had already started eating ! And the homemade cakes are sooooo yummy !

I had my baby shower at Jacqueline's in October last year and I have meaning to write this review ever since because it was fabulous! We had the venue to ourselves and the owner, Jackie, could not have been more welcoming, friendly and overall lovely. The food was absolutely wonderful. A fantastic afternoon tea with huge freshly baked scones and plenty of cakes! We also had a plate each of homemade sandwiches, salads and a pork pie. Such a lot of food at great value! Jackie allowed us to put up our own decorations and play some games. She did rush us out of the building, even though we had been there a while! She told us to stay as long as we wanted as she was baking fresh cakes! The waitress who served us was also delightful. I had a wonderful experience and as a local resident I will be going more often and recommending. Thank you again! Christina

Shameful service by the cook and owner who I can only describe as delinquents, the waitresses where lovely. I hope those involved read this and I hope for the cost it takes you to take this off trip adviser is the same amount you have stolen out of my pocket. I unfortunately won’t get the time back for having to deal with the rude cook and Jackie the owner who wasn’t present but spoke to me via phone as no one else there had a scooby. Its disgusting how you treated us, I’m from Fordingbridge and enjoy eating out in the area, never have I come across such appalling hospitality. I have taken photos of the note you wrote me when I asked for a receipt and recorded everything on my phone from the second time I brought the food in and your staff started shouting at me. I’m glad I recorded as you continuously lied about what you said, did not listen to me at all and in the end had a completely fictional version of events. I get you’re not a very professional business but the way you can hear your staff speaking to me in the recording is unacceptable and you can clearly hear the part that you agreed to give me my money back after I had paid before I received my meal (big mistake) and the cook stormed to our table like an overgrown toddler throwing a tantrum and threw our meals in the bin after two wrong attempts at what we ordered and then decided to up the hostility and refuse to give me my money back despite already throwing the food away so we literally got nothing but you think it’s perfectly acceptable to keep my money? Please say anything is wrong with my statement and I will happily send the recording where you can hear everything clearly because of her loud mouth. I feel sorry for the young staff who repeatedly kept looking at me smiling and mouthing that they were sorry. The woman that are running this business are poor examples, unkind and toxic. Everything I asked was responded with aggressive remarks that didn’t answer anything or make sense. I’m aware I won’t get anywhere with this as the manager/owner is clearly a huge part of the problem and has extremely stressed staff. From reading her other responses she has delusional ideation. However, I need to get it off my chest as when I’ve been robbed, don’t have much money myself and have one day off a week which I decided to come here, I’m angry.

Visited Jacqueline's tea room today with my partner and family. With lot's of choice of places to eat in Ringwood it would be easy to make a mistake and pick somewhere rubbish, luckily we didn't. Jacqueline's is a friendly place with good food, drinks and has staff that want to interact and make their customers happy. We left today, well fed and watered and with smiles on our faces. The menu was a good lunch selection and there were specials on the board. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We both ordered Pannini however when it arrived it was a baguette warmed up with some ham and cheese stuffed inside but not melted. I asked my friend if this is what she had before as she has been in lots of times and she said it was (she didnt know what a pannini was!) so I didnt make a fuss as this was her usual eatery but it was definately not a Pannini! For this reason I didnt give it a better score.

We went to Jacqueline's team room for lunch and had a pleasant meal. The cafe is quite small but comfortable to sit in and more pleasant than the larger impersonal restaurants around the corner. The food was good quality and reasonably priced, although service was a little slow. There is one toilet at the back of the restaurant which is slighty outside.

We visited when on holiday as a family of 10 and were shown into the back area of the shop which can accommodate larger parties. The owner Jacqui and her assistant were both absolutely lovely and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them, we had 3 tired fractious children in our group one wanted Orange juice, my daughter in law asked if it was smooth or came with bits, when told it came with bits they strained it so there were no bits. The youngest child who couldn't decide what he wanted was offered delights such as a fish finger or jam sandwich. The afternoon tea or cream tea was delightfully presented. I would definitely go back there if I go back to Ringwood

My partner and I went in for a quick drink whilst we were looking around Ringwood. We surely can’t be the only customers to notice this:There were two staff members on the shop floor, and a lady in the kitchen doing the food. We felt very sorry for the young girl wearing black who wore glasses. She was working her backside off whilst the other young girl who looked like she was supposed to be working too sat on hers at a table with another girl.Obviously the owner was the lady in the kitchen. She was ringing the bell to indicate that food was ready and the girl wouldn’t even get up to deliver food to tables, so she was taking it out herself.Incidentally we went back in there today (Saturday) before we set off back home and the same thing is happening, the girl isn’t working! It’s not fair on your other staff!Wether she’s got a problem or not, she’s there to work and shouldn’t be letting her colleagues down.We thought you would like the observation of visitors to the area. The girl who served us was nice and polite by the way.

Visited today with my family- my husband, my five year old and my two year old twins. The food was lovely however I felt the service could have been better. As we entered the tea shop I got glared at by one of the waitresses when she saw I had three young children and then we were encouraged to sit out the back even though there were tables out the front. Apparently because there was more room. This I believe was not the reason - I felt from the attitude received, it was more to get the children out of the way. My children sat extremely well and ate their food. It’s May half term- people need it expect children around! As I said the food was lovely and if I had felt more welcomed with my family we would return.

Looking forward to a nice cream tea and sandwich in this cute little tea room whilst on holiday. Quick to serve us initially however the food took about half an hour to come out. One of the orders was wrong and we did not get an opportunity to rectify this as no one came back to check if everything was ok with the food. Our plates were not cleared after we had finished, and we would have liked to have ordered cake or scones after the meal. It felt as if we had been forgotten about, and after a further 20 minutes we had to ask for our bill, and then left, feeling disappointed.

My Husband and I came across this little tearoom by accident, when looking for somewhere to have a scone and a cuppa tea. We ordered a toasted sandwich which was freshly made and came with a side salad; followed by 2 cream teas - what a lot of food we had: a freshly made fruit scone with jam and cream (& butter, which we didn't use), a brandy snap, strawberry slices and a pot of tea for me and a coffee with cream for my Husband. There was a biscuit with the tea and a piece of shortbread with the coffee. So delicious ....... We made a special trip back to Ringwood a few days later, simply to enjoy the good food again! This time I had a baked potato with ham and cheese filling, and my husband had a baguette with a side salad. He then had a cream tea - with coffee, rather than tea - while I just had a pot of tea, as the baked potato was so filling. On our first visit we shared the toasted sandwich and said we wanted to do that, when we ordered - asking for an extra plate. We didn't see any notice about the surcharge some reviewers have mentioned, and Jacqueline didn't say this wasn't allowed; perhaps because we also ordered cream teas? I engaged Jacqueline in conversation and she seemed quite happy to chat. On both occasions, her husband did the cooking and we were very satisfied with what he served up. We would definitely go back if in that area again: best cup of tea and scones we had during our 6 day visit to Hampshire and Dorset!

You are always assured of a genuinely friendly welcome in this convenient little cafe. The owner managers are really dedicated and are keen to ensure that all their clients leave happy. They have a selection of lovely cakes, good coffee and are very allergy aware, aiming to accommodate as many allergies as possible.

We visited Jaquline's for a quick cup of tea, it looked so clean and inviting from the outside. Once inside we were greeted by a very polite and friendly waitress who showed us to our table. Seeing the delightful cakes it was a sin to have a pot of tea without them, they were delicious. (The low calorie non fat ones were the best I understand, pity I could not find any!!!). All in all a very pleasant place to drink and spoil yourself on one (or two) of their very fine cakes.

Brilliant quirky tea room, fantastic staff very attentive. Made to feel very welcome food is fantastic really loved our tuna and cheese panini's and the very well presented cream teas that tasted devine. Cant believe how reasonably priced everything was. The hot chocolates are to die for couldnt have asked for better. Well worth a visit. Would go out of our way to go there again. 100% recommend this tea room.

Stopped in for a cream tea on the way home from holiday. What a lovely place - the lady serving (I think she's the owner), was so friendly and welcoming. Ordered cream teas for 4 - less than £20! That was the first shock - the price was reasonable. The second shock was when they arrived. Beautifully presented - I wish I had taken photos. Good sized scone, dish of butter, dish of jam, dish of clotted cream, fresh strawberries and a brandy snap! Also a biscuit in each saucer to have with your tea (or coffee). I actually couldn't manage my biscuit, lol!

What a little gem! We stumbled on this lovely little place whilst holidaying in the area. There were seven of us, three small children, a teenager and three adults. As soon as we entered we were made to feel very welcome. They moved an extra table into the area we had chosen, to accommodate all of us comfortably.

I really like it here and we often pop in. Tea and coffee both really good with lots of choice and a nice biscuit to boot! Food is always fresh and all at very reasonable prices. Service is extremely friendly and efficient. However, as much as like it I'm not sure about all the "stuff" around - but maybe that's just me. Also I think it would look so much better with nice crisp white tablecloths. I'm sorry Jacqueline but I can't like the plastic ones. Having said that I still think it's the nicest cafe/restaurant in Ringwood for its personal service.

We were recommended to try the cream tea - excellent recommendation. We all enjoyed the food and we were offered tea top-ups. All they need to do is buy a decent printer and do away with the handwritten signs.......

Popped in here for an emergency late lunch after a long drive from London to the New Forest. The sandwich was fresh and generous with a nice helping of salad on the side. The room at the front is bright and quirky and very pleasant on a sunny day. We refrained from cake, but I wish we hadn't, as they looked exceptional, and there was loads of choice. Next time!

We like Ringwood, but hadn't found a favourite place to eat - until today. Jacqueline's is run by a friendly family team, offering tasty food at a very reasonable price. To top it all, they offer a good gluten free option - something that is still quite hard to find in tea shops these days.

Went in today, had two egg mayo sandwiches which were really lovely, the bread was very soft with lots of filling. Came with a salad that had lovely bits of fruit in it and a really good dressing.

We visted this place as when it was oh lala chocolate it was brilliant however it's been taken over over has a very oldy worldy in a not really vintagey feel to it which kinda makes me cringe sorry old music was playing and they sometimes have stuffed teddies hanging in in the window not not sure what that's all about however saying that if thats what you like fab go for it as the staff are very friendly and the food is ok but for us we wont be visiting again but fortunately ringwood does boast a lot of cafes.

Visited today with my children; chocolate milkshakes and chocolate fudge cake for them and a piece of carrot cake and tea for me - in a proper china cup and saucer, with a biscuit on the side! All absolutely scrummy!

All the staff were very friendly and obliging. The location is good and the premises is very clean. Well behaved dogs are welcome. We had a cream tea and can not fault the presentation and quality. Generous amounts of cream with a freshly cut strawberry as edible decoration. Will visit again, good value.

I love this place. Always lovely lovely staff. Always delicious food. The best Rocky Road ever. BEST CAFE IN LYMINGTON

Visited the Sail inn with my uncle who lives in Lymington. Previous experience at the pub had been very good however this visit has left a very poor taste in the mouth. While the fish and chips were adequate the use of some sort of paper to "soak up the oil" from the food was less than appetizing for my uncle who is elderly. While the stated serving hours were 12 to 3pm when I requested dessert and coffees we were told the kitchen was closed as the chef "had to be somewhere" Given the choice of quality establishments in Lymington we obviously regretted choosing The Sail Inn and won't be doing so in the future - the fact there was no warning that the kitchen was closing early is annoying however the actual decision to shut early on a Friday lunchtime in a competive marketplace is beyond me.

Popped in here for a breakfast, all the tables had ‘reserved ‘on them( a sign of a good place!) and we told the staff we were just after brekkie though it was nearing lunchtime. They reconfigured a table so we could eat and we had a lovely full english, quality sausages nice bread etc. will always go back there when we visit the forest
