Cafe Hoburne - Bashley in New Forest

Fantastic location, easy access to forest and beach. Caravan has everything you need, clean, tidy and very comfy - like home from home. Entertainment is fantastic and all staff really friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for a great holiday

Been twice now and both times cannot fault cleanliness and location. The reception staff go above and beyond with helpfulness. Will definitely return.

Nice caravan park. Good amenities, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi were excellent.

Myself and my partner spent 5 days at this lovely place, we had a premium static, it's was absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean, the site is very well kept and its got a lovely site shop, we went during school holidays but it was still very quiet, we didn't use the pools but they looked very clean and we didn't go to the evening entertainment but it looked very popular with lots of stuff going on, staff are very friendly and informative and I'd definitely go again 😀

It's one of the best caravan parks . Right in the New Forest. Close to the sea and Mudford Quay and Christchurch. Superb location . Local farm shops with amazing food and plenty of shops nearby . Great holiday or few days away.

Very welcoming holiday resort food was great swimming pool too, the only issue we had was the arcade and bingo is cash only and couldn't see any onsite cash points so had to go to town to get cash every time but other than that great experience for adults and kids

2nd time at Bashley. The children really love it. Good quality food. Great entertainment for the children with activities throughout the day and dancing and games in the evening. We really like the design of the indoor pool, starting shallow and slowly gets deeper which is great if you have children of different ages, makes it easier to keep an eye on them rather than separate pools. The activity den is brilliant too, lots of variety of arts and crafts. The playground could be better/bigger but there's so many other things to do we didn't really need it. It's good the softplay area has been expanded and the arcade is well maintained. There's a steam room and a sauna which is great too. We are going back in July and looking forward to it.

Had a walk around whilst waiting to pick up a friend, looks good, 2 pools & a water play area, inside is clean, staff are friendly....think I might spend some time there 👍

We stayed in a premium caravan and the accommodation was spacious, super clean , with a lovely kitchen and tranquil patio looking out onto fields. Didn’t use the facilities much apart from the fitness suite which has modern techno gym cardio equipment and some weights. Location ideal on edge of new forest and close to coast too.

We booked a long weekend and had an amazing time. We booked a hot tub stay but only used it a couple of times as so much for the children to do. The food and the cafe bar was lovely and the big breakfast was delicious. We would have scored five stars and the only reason we didnt was the caravan areas have such small signs and door numbers hard to see if you arrive in the dark which was a nightmare and then when you ring reception to get an answer phone not a great start. A special thank you to Andrea who was amazing and should definitely be the reception manager as she went the extra mile when an activity booking was cancelled without our knowledge.

This site is absolutely brilliant. We went for a 2 bed premium with a hot tub and dog friendly. We brought our 19 month little girl also. Great location for drives to various places... Hengistbury Head is a must! About 30 mins drive. Lots of farm shops to explore as well really close to Bashley Holiday Park. The entertainment is great and the staff are enthusiastic and friendly😊 will be back next year!

Love this site. Kids loved the disco! Swimming pools are really good for family fun. The build a bear crew were very committed to the activity and the sky trek was great fun. Looking forwards to fireworks night!

Lovely site lovely caravan beautifully clean and well maintained entertainment staff spot on but service in venue bar from bar staff absolutely rubbish this visit , I ordered on the app at 10.15 , at 10.35 staff behind bar and still no drink when I went up to ask where it was they pulled the drink and just left it on the end of the bar without an apology for your wait or nothing , it wasn't over busy so there was no excuse but the guy behind the bar I found quite rude , if you don't want people using the app and you want them to queue at the bar then close the app because 20 minute wait and god knows how much longer I would have waited had I not gone up

A great site with good facilities. There's plenty of outdoor space and the indoor pool is good with a lifeguard on watch. The amusement arcade is a bit small but it's not a Pontins. Would be handy to have a cash machine on site but not the end if the world. The general shop isn't too expensive. I always enjoy my time here.

Our first time staying with Hobourne. We stayed for a Monday to Friday in our children's Easter break which it turned out was before the local children so we found out we were not "in season". There was no.breakfast option in the restaurant this is only on fri-mon but we couldn't check in until 5pm so didn't have the breakfast Monday and though we could of had the breakfast Friday we left early so didn't. The pool is rather small and not very deep and the deepest point was roped off everyday for baby swim classes so that was a bit annoying. The menu changed the day we arrived so half of the dinner options were not available. The next day with the new menu was much better, but the service is very slow. Food served in the bar until 3pm however there was a day we couldn't place an order until 1pm and a power cut that shut down the card payment machines for longer than the power cut however there's no on site cash machine so do make sure you have some cash just in case. The machines in the arcade kept running out of tickets - with kids "saving" for prizes this could be a little annoying. Also we had a whole fiasco with money getting stuck in the change machine in the arcade to be told by the staff they were "too busy" to help... they were honestly not that busy there were 3 of them at the bar serving 1 of them could of helped. I had to go back and remind them we were waiting twice. Reception apparently couldn't help as they don't have a key... The pool table the white ball went missing with no spare available - this did magically return (small child had taken it) The caravan we stayed in was lovely, modern and spacious - however there were quite a few cobwebs on the ceiling. The quizzes were fun of a evening though the one on Thursday that should of started at 9.30 didn't start until 9.50 with no explanation as to why? All in all its not a bad venue I did find the staff a bit abrupt which is a put off, not certain we would stay again to be honest as it just fell a bit short.

Great place. Plenty to do and loads to explore. Bar is a little expensive.

Stayed in a three bedroom lodge. Was surprisingly comfortable and had a hot tub and gas heating and cooling. Perfect as a base for doing activities from in the New Forest. Didn't try onsite food or entertainment.

Lovely holiday park on the south coast. Not far from the sea and the national park. Lots to do in and around the park.

Great mid-term break spent in Hoburne park! Stayed in a rented caravan and despite the time of the year (Feb) and weather (storm) there are plenty of things to do on site (swimming pool, small indoor and outdooor playing areas for kids, mini golf, lovely scouts-like activities for kids in the woods on site in the mornings - much enjoyed) and in the areas nearby (motorcycle museum just 5 mins down the road; Mudeford Quay; walk to Hurst castle; woodland trails). Very quiet area, tucked between woods, very clean and staff very friendly. Will return for sure!

Even though very windy mobile home was spotless facilities excellent for dogs children and adults good time was had by all

Great value and we'll maintained caravans in the off season. Great location for getting out and exploring the New Forest. Sadly when booking in advance staff said they would try to put us (3 caravans) all nearby each other. On arrival 2 were in the same row (9 apart) one was a 10 min walk away. There were many empty caravans between us. The one was a different type so understand if they are located in a certain place. But we only booked the other type as we were told there weren't enough of the other 2 available. Again ~70% were not being used. The coffee at the café is awful and overpriced for the quality. Save your money! Breakfast was good for the money though.

Its a very nice place I going with my granddaughter to see Mr & Mrs Santa Claus 🎅 for the weekend and just found out nothing for kids Friday and Sunday night which is disappointing as not told when booked it so I have dropped the stars to 2 but In September when I was here I gave it 5 stars.......... Disappointing as not a fun fill weekend at all as advertised 😞😞

We hold leisure passes and it's always great to go for a swim and then stay for some food and enjoy some evening entertainment. The food is always good and very reasonably priced.

Holiday was ruined by a foul smelling room. While they did try to rectify it didn't fix the issue. Response to complaint was poor, won't be back.

Expsensive charges £5000 per year. Not allowed to stay on jan. Double charge on water. £20+ to read your own electric meter. Stay away!!

Great place to go with the family, lots to do including a fairy trail through the woods, crazy golf, paint a pot, arcade and soft play. Only niggles is that the pool changing rooms, arcade and soft play is out dated. Needs some money spending on the facilities to get it up to scratch. The accommodation it's self is lovely as are the staff. Jonathan on the sales team was very friendly and insightful. Overall very good holiday.

I had a great week here in October 2021. Everything was perfect. A very high quality site, with super, caring staff.

Friendly staff. Clean site. Didn't try food as I age stayed at another hoburne site and didn't like theenu or food. Our home was clean and tidy. Not bad all in all. Good location for exploring new forest.

We went to the Cafe in Hobourne bashley last week. The choice is very good. Its reasonably priced and of a good quality. My scampi was the best I have had.

Friendly and helpful staff entertainment excellent for all ages restaurant is very clean a variety of food and drinks is very good

A very clean and well kept site. Very expensive for two people in September. If you like privacy this may not be for you. Cannot park car outside all units, ask befor booking

We arrived a week ago wasn't sure what the food would be like but to be honest we could not fault any meal we have had ..its always been top notch..hot and well presented..the specials board went down well, even the lunch time menu was great.....well done thanks for a great stay all staff have been friendly and helpful..also to the young lady hannah on Sammys shack when we had over 8000 tickets to spend...see u all soon...x

Great park , plenty to do on park & local area But not impressed with takeaway food from club/food court. , tasteless cod obs frozen, microwaved peas tasteless chips , better tasting food from iceland

Great place to visit. It was our first time and would definitely return. The food menu is limited, however what the serve is excellent, much better than could've been expected. Swimming pools are great, changing rooms very clean and tidy

This is a beautiful park set in the new forest. Caravans and lodges are well space and most have decking. However this year, when extreemly busy, it seems to have staff shortages everywhere. The sauna and steam room permanently closed at the moment has been for a year or so. The lovely brasserie hasn't opened at all this year. The cafe has extreemly ltd un healthy options. No real ale on draft and lots on menu cancelled when run out. Breakfast hasn't been an option as no one to cook it. . The entertainments has been good as well as the pools. Its just the catering needs up grading. Who wants to go to a holiday park where you cannot get a Breakfast or decent meal with decent choices

Lovely place, really enjoyed our stay. Lovely clean caravan, great entertainment and lovely staff. Would have given five stars but lots of items were out of stock on the food and drink app so we had limited choice. Also had hardly any phone signal and no wi fi connection when out of the main complex despite the caravan being very close to the complex, obviously not the fault of the staff here but very frustrating when you have 2 teenagers with you!! Despite this Bashley is a lovely place, this is our second visit and we will be returning.

Lovely well managed park, kept immaculately, inside and outside pools are lovely, dog exercise area and very dog friendly.

Booked as just a base for a new forest break. Couldn't fault any aspect of it. The bar and pool area were spotless and looked new, ordering and playing on your phone for food and drink made life so simple and fuss free and the accommodation was a really high spec and again looked spotless and new. Would I recommend it, yes in a heartbeat great for families and couples.

Great Park. Lovely and clean and well laid out. Super swimming pools, indoor and outdoor. Nice seating outside the restaurant with umbrellas to keep you cool. Staff were lovely too. The caravan we rented was excellent too. Very impressed. Will go back again soon.

First time in a caravan park so I don't have much to compare it too but we had a really good time. The caravan was comfortable and not too cramped, the amenities adequate and the site seemed well looked after. Our daughter loved the swimming pool and the playground. A great base to get to seaside or for a walk in the new forest.

Recently rented a mobile home from jwandjmobilehomes.co.uk on this site. Janet was very easy to communicate with. The prices were very keen. We arrived on a wet Monday and found the accommodation very fast thanks to Janet’s detailed instructions. The mobile home was fitted out to a very high standard and you felt right at home as soon as you walked in the door. I would strongly recommending using this family run operation if your thinking of a trip to Bashley. The rest of the week was sunny and warm and we had a great time sitting on the balcony drinking wine and exploring the beautiful countryside.

Nice site and lots to do but ashame about the staff some not very nice and pleasant and very rude and no manners at all ask for drink said someone taking orders shout to them totally ignored went to bar just to ask and said to go back so did when going back they started shouting but couldn't hear what said due to being deaf. Ask for disabled chalet for wheelchair mum chair bound can't walk got one one with 4 steps and very cramped to move wheelchair around won't help at all. Don't recommend at all unless u like bad manners. manners

Visited here twice now with the family. Beautiful location in New Milton. Always well kept. Fairly compact site which is good. The Entertainment Team are great with the kids. Indoor pool is good, also has a sauna and steam room. On site Brasserie 1912 offers a good range of quality food. Plenty to do for all.

Pleasant site with plenty of trees and short woodland walks within the park. Loved hearing the different birds amongst the trees. Our visit was at the end of the half term holiday so it was fairly quiet during the following week, which suits us. First time at this Hoburne Park - as usual our caravan was very comfortable and well appointed, on this occasion it had a dishwasher and, most useful, a washing machine. Can't offer any comments about the entertainments programme as we aren't interested in it. Very satisfied with all the Hoburne parks we've stayed at over the last 3-4 years.

Fantastic well equipped site. Lovely outside and inside pools. Raised decking. Lovely clubhouse with friendly staff. A good range of caravans and lodges to hire. Booked for next year already.

Visited friends staying in a Lodge. Very impressed by high standard of accommodation. Weather kept us in all day but what we saw we liked.

Appreciate that bank holiday is busy BUT food takeaway awful, took back as was cold, they just microwaved it- inedible in the end. Waste of money and time. I am an owner of a static caravan been here a long time, definitely will NOT be going back there.
