Gelato is deli, i tried cocunut & vanilla very nice combo. Price is pretty cheap for 2 scoops and its worth it. No parking, no toilets,no sit in arrangements just take away only. No highchairs for children. Good ice cream . You get vegan options

There was a queue prior to entering the shop making it evident how busy and how popular the shop is. Nevertheless the queue was fast moving, the service was prompt and the ice cream was undoubtedly great! I had Coconut Ube and Honeycomb flavour.

Really decent ice cream. We attempted to come here last summer, but it was super popular and busy. Treated my boys yesterday to the milk chocolate flavour and I think the fudge one? Really lovely and a great treat!

We visited this lovely Gelato shop recently! He let us try different flavours which is very sweet of him. All the flavours are surprisingly taste good however I think mine is chocochip Stracciatella and I loved it! They create some really nice gelato flavours which my friends really liked it. If you’re a a Gelato lover, this place is great. :)

Massive line for this ice cream but it moves very quickly. They're super efficient. The chocolate covered cone is absolutely delicious and adds in another layer of yummyness. Perfect treat!

It was late on a march evening and this place was buzzing. Young and old had assembled to taste the best ice cream in town. I was with my vegan son and I was impressed by the wide variety of flavours he could eat. I went for milk and cookies which was very tasty indeed.

Absolutely iconic gelato place in all of Cambridge, and everyone knows it! Love the daily change of flavours, and the option to “queue skip” where there’s QR codes around, to get your order straight out from the window, if you choose to do that, or just go in person to order your gelato to be greeted by wonderful staff. Definitely recommend coming to try out some gelato!

A good selection of flavours, and not expensive for such a good location. I had the roasted banana one, very nice.

Stopped in for an ice-cream treat after a long day out in Cambridge. We ordered via the QR code and our order was served at the window within 5 minutes. I opted for cherry and chocolate scoops, and the portions were very generous! We sat down to enjoy at a little table, and it was easily the best ice cream I’ve had in a long time. 10/10 recommend.

Beautiful little gem in the heart of Cambridge. I came here for the first time just before Christmas and so I had the dark hot chocolate which was the perfect treat and just delicious - thank you for the recommendation! I had a tub of the fig and manuka honey gelato and it was probably the best gelato I have ever had. Will definitely be coming back here on my next visit.

I may be a bit biased here as I attribute Jack's Gelato to many happy and good things -- but hey, that's a sign of a good establishment right?! I love the variety of flavours here and make sure to order the 'secret flavours' they have and be surprised by how good they are. The lines can be crazy long so best to come with a friend and chat the long line away, or use the QR code by the service window for a queue jump (you'll have to miss trying flavours inside tho!). Go ahead, try Jack's cos let's be real -- your trip to Cambridge is never complete without it.

I went on a Monday afternoon and it was fairly busy. I had a scoop of coconut and ube and it was delicious. You can’t really find this flavour anywhere else so I’d recommend it. However, I don’t think it’s as amazing as other comments were saying.

You must eat GELATO when you come to Cambridge🤤 You can ask the store staff to let you try the flavors you are interested in. One of the most popular ones is COCONUT UBE (Purple) Vegan🌱, this one is really good👍The coconut flavor is very rich, WHISKY (White) does not perform as well in comparison Excellent, at least don't think it's worth the extra £3 But both are so dense that they can be drawn! After everyone goes to Eagle Bar to have a cup of DNA BEER, you can come and taste it😎

The mint stracciatella was all sold out, so I ordered plain vanilla. Oddly, it tasted salty. Not much vanilla flavor, either. Only ate a few bites before tossing it. There are lines out the door, though.

Always a fun, interesting flavour on the menu! Creamy, fresh and quick paced, Jack’s is the star of Cambridge!! A must visit, by all means necessary :)) Heads up though, the menu changes every day. But be sure to ask for their secret menu, and to sample the options!

Don't be surprised by the queue; it typically moves quite quickly. The menu changes daily. Ube flavors are a must-try. Don't forget to ask for the secret flavor of the day.

Delicious ice cream with a wide variety of quirky flavours. Very busy with a long queue when we went but it goes down fairly quickly. You can skip queues and order online for a window pick up. Coconut and raspberry ripple is my recommendation.

It's expensive. But I can't stop coming back and this means it must be worth it. The coconut ice cream is superb. I never bother with the odd flavours, but seriously this might well be the best ice cream shop in the.... UK ;)

Best ice cream in town. There are many great flavours to choose from, with honeycomb being my favourite. Very friendly staff and cozy atmosphere.

Terrible customer service. There was only person working here. However, he was working at such a snails pace that literally everyone in the cue had to wait almost an hour, when really it should not even take that long to literally serve scoops of ice cream to people. The ice cream here is good quality at-least, but it's not worth getting if the customer service here is lousy. I won't be coming back here for a while.

The best ice cream in Cambridge:)

Mediocre texture compensated by adventurous combinations… That’s how you compete with the more traditional gelatos next doors and become a “must-go” hot spot in Cambridge. Overpriced and touristy as it is, I might still have to invite visitors to try one scoop or half here and move on to the real gelato places. Again, interesting tastes but lacks the richness of proper gelato and the flavoring can be quite artificial. 4: Both sea salt dark chocolate and damson cherry are rather flavorless today. 3rd try: ube coconut & dark chocolate gochujang —- Roast peanut butter was sold out. I was courageous enough to get the maple bacon (after trying). Savory ice cream works! Bacon flavor melted in my mouth, and then the maple came up. Interesting. —— Salted Oreo isn’t really salty. More like ordinary cookie and cream. The honey comb is surprisingly nice. I usually go for more intense dark chocolate or coffee flavors, but this one is actually good enough for me to go for white ones. Much much better than vanilla (which I don’t like). Milky with crispy sweet crystals. Heard miso is also tasty. I’ll be more adventurous next time.

Some of the best gelato I've ever tasted!

Lovely ice cream, if you not sure what flavour you like they will let you sample a little bit until you make your mind up. The Mango sorbet is lovely, wasn’t a fan of the whiskey flavour though. The shop does get very busy, especially in nice weather.

It is the best gelato I had in the UK. I recommend sampling the secret flavour. I had vanilla mascarpone and dulce de leche, both very creamy and delicious.

Overall Jack's is a local favourite. They have very good flavours and experiment a lot with them, not all their inventions are good (e.g. the roses flavour), but overall they are super good

Honeycomb - 6/10 Milk and Brownie - 6/10 Salted butter biscuit - 8.5/10

Definitely worth the long queue, Jack’s Gelato has one of a kind gelato flavours with new and creative flavours. Was lucky enough to try the Almond Cake flavour and it was a creamy gelato base with almond cake bits, one word - “sensational”. Two half scoops - Almond Cake, Vegan Chocolate (£3.5)

There's always a queue outside because the ice cream is really good. They keep coming up with creative flavour combinations and somehow it always works

I purchased two flavors, one pistachio, one chocolate. They really are so good!!! I love the ice cream here! The pistachio flavor is awesome and the pistachio nuts are thick and rich. The chocolate flavored ice cream is delicious too! I'll definitely be back for my next visit to Cambridge!

When we talk about the medicine for the gloomy mood, does Ice cream could be one of those particularly effective ones? Cause, it will only take a single “lick time” to function effectively. Very tasty “medicine”, recommended. (An English amateur, sorry for the possible mistakes.)

Worth 10 stars, hands down. Some of the best Gelato I've ever had. They have nailed it with the amazing range of flavors on offer along with the great taste and smooth texture. Cherry on top was the skip queue to order setup saving quite a bit it wait time given their popularity and long queues.

all sorbets taste too creamy and artificial, couldn’t compare to authentic Gelatos from Aromi which are a lot lighter and more natural taste. Jack Gelato is just a scam. Some flavours are worse than Tesco’s ice creams

Best gelato ice cream I've had in the UK.

We tried their coconut & cardmom, caramelized milk, strawberry & cream and whiskey options. Three of them were what you'd expect, exception was the one with whiskey which, imho, was not at all what I paid for.

Love the choices they have. I went for my favorite on my first try though. Will opt for the unique ones on my next trip. I went right after lunch so it wasn't crowded at all.

Thank you for your vegan delicious ice cream. My allergic son had mango and rhubarb today and loved them. Staff was very understanding and served us with "clean" spoon to avoid any dairy cross-contamination. Please always keep vegan ice cream separately to avoid any contact with the rest of the dairy ice cream.

This is my favourite place to get ice cream in Cambridge. Their flavours are constantly changing, they have vegan friendly options, and their ice cream feels wonderfully uncomplicated.

I have tried hot cocoa during winter and ice cream during sunny seasons and it has always been great.

Ice cream lover right here! The good flavors sold out by the end of the day so went with the simple vanilla and it was pretty damn delicious and smooth. And best part - line moved fast!

3 triple scoops of ice cream for breakfast 4 days running, and once we had some in the afternoon as well! I usually stick to vanilla because so many flavours are too sweet, but Jack's flavours are all fantastic. Dark chocolate and sea salt sorbet, and tahini, were both spectacular, would have preferred my coconut without ripple, but all the flavours were pretty damned good. Well up the rankings of the best ice cream on the planet league.

What wonderful ice cream, I refused to have one but had a quick bit if my wife's Honeycomb flavour one. I had to go & buy one after, my wife bought a second after that. OK the price was a bit higher than you would expect but well worth it. Highlight of my day in Cambridge.

Absolutely loved the gelato here , definitely worth queuing for. I had the rhubarb & rose, and the banana. Both excellent flavours which I would recommend. The gelato was really smooth in texture - seriously good. The shop is close to the river Cam if you want to sit by the water in the sun.

We love Jacks! Such a good range of gelatos including vegan options. They change their menu a lot. The shop itself is small and is often deservedly busy. It is worth it, even if you have to plan your trip a bit better. This is the kind of special place you show off to family ❤️

Very poor quality of taste in compare to Aromi. Poor choice. Sugar and milky taste overpowers everything. Disappointed, guys are working hard and all very friendly but it really isn’t a real Gelateria

Gelato worth queuing for. The flavour combinations really deliver. The pumpkin and gingerbread and roasted pear and salted caramel flavours were incredible. And the mini sizes mean you can try out flavours despite the cost.

Something for everyone. Vegan Rum & Raisin was spot on.

Really good gelato in Cambridge, I was wondering why the queues were so long and thought I have to try the ice cream here! Worth the wait - I had the honeycomb ice cream and it was very creamy, crunchy and tasted high-quality. £2.50 is about the price I would expect for a scoop and the scoops were generous. Good selection of flavours and I really enjoyed sitting in the booth inside! Would visit again and explore more of the menu.

Tasty stuff! Top tip (kind of): visit in the winter when there won’t be massive queues, like there usually is in the summer. 10/10 still enjoyed in the cold weather.

Best gelato in Cambridge! Not even comparable to others shops, this is a real handmade gelato. The staff was amazing and incredibly helpful making me try the flavor I wasn't sure to take. Great place with handsome people!

I lived in Cambridge for 3 years and still think about Jacks Gelato on a regular basis. Great memories walking into town and spending 10+ minutes figuring out what flavour I wanted and sitting outside Kings parade while devouring 2 scoops in a cup while people watching (sometimes in a chocolate cone!) a must visit if you’re new or a tourist and especially in summer. Lots of very unique flavours that are produced locally and ever changing- there’s something for everyone! I always recommend Jack’s to everyone, always worth the queue as they have a fast service. ❤️

Small and narrow place. Will not take a lot of people inside. An OK assortment of gelato (flavours are always changing). Well organised.
