Itsu in Southwark

Had California Rolls and Chicken soup. Both were very good. Limited seating. Clean and prices were reasonable.

Avevo già provato un altro ristorante di questa catena (all'aeroporto di Heathrow) qualche mese fa e mi era piaciuto molto, quindi sono andato piuttosto sul sicuro nel proporlo. Una delle cose che più mi era piaciuta è il rapporto qualità (e aggiungerei quantità)/prezzo (seppur limitatamente a Londra, che di per sé è cara, ma il sushi costa letteralmente come l'oro). Questo locale si trova in una posizione davvero centrale a due passi dal Tower Bridge (quindi comodo anche per chi visita la torre di Londra) ed offre posti a sedere sia dentro che fuori. Oltre al già menzionato sushi (che è ho trovato anche di ottima qualità seppur non preparato al momento ma conservato in appositi box), offrono anche frutta, verdura e succhi e altro tra cui scegliere. Alla fine devo dire che l'esperienza si è rivelata positiva come mi aspettavo ed ho iniziato a considerare Itsu come un prossimo punto di riferimento per il sushi a Londra!

Stopped in here recently for something quick and weren't disappointed. Had a chicken bowl and chicken soup. Ordering was quick and efficient. Food was ready in mere minutes. Hot, fresh and tasty - no issues there. Very reasonably priced for what you get. Eating in is not that comfortable, primarily a take out joint, but does the job. Cool little spot for fast food.

Reliably consistent food. Staff ok. Short walk from London Bridge station/Tooley St exit. This location isn't the nicest design compared to other Itsus, but it does the job.

I come to Itsu normally in the 30 minutes before closing as all the sushi is half price! This really is some of the best value food you can get in London. Sushi is always a really good standard too.

Diese Itsu-Filiale ist ganz klar als Schnell-Restaurant für die arbeitende Bevölkerung ausgelegt, die Öffnungszeiten am WE sind begrenzt. Essen frisch und lecker, Preise angemessen. Man kann sogar im Freien essen und dabei zwischen den Hochhäusern die London Bridge betrachten. Sehr gut für Zwischendurch.

Grabbed sushi and sushi-mi pre packaged boxes here 8 times in one week. Always fresh. Never a smell. Never a mushy piece. Reasonably priced for central London grab and go.

I am usually a fan of the Itsu rice dishes but this time the dish came with small, hard particles which I initially took to be sesame seeds. On closer inspection they were hard pieces of rice. On returning the meal to the counter, the chef was summoned and he explained they were pieces of dry, stale rice left over from the previous batch of this product. Not 'Really sorry we made a mistake and didn't clean out the cooking pot' but rather 'We don't usually clean out the cooking pot so you will sometimes get that sort of debris'. I certainly won't be getting that sort of debris as I will not be darkening the door of any Itsu branch in future. What an appalling admission...

Run of the mill Itsu. Over priced asian fare. The Metcalfe cornchips have a weird taste. Sometimes the soups have more water than noodles. The rice dishes in the fridge sometimes go a bit dry.

Good restaurant for a quick Japanese meal. Enjoyed the sushi & soup. Quick service and clean. Good to try.

Walked into here by chance whilst in the More London area, scouting around for somewhere to feed my brother! Had a good selection of Asian food, it only took a couple of minutes to be ready and everything we ordered was tasty - some Korean BBQ Pork and Chicken Teriyaki rice bowls, Gyoza, some Aloe drinks that reminded us of our time in Asia! Friendly staff, clean and tidy, and a great selection of takeout options which reminded me of the Family Marts and 7/11s in Japan.

Our group of 6 people stopped in for a quick lunch. Between the sushi selection and the hot rice bowls and noodle dishes there was something to everyone’s liking. We were disappointed that they were out of pork and so we had to settle for a couple of chicken hot dishes, but they were very good.
