Itsu in City of London, Westminster

This is a great place to grab a bite in Picadilly. On a cold day I recommend their rice pots. Otherwise they are famous for their delicious Sushi. There are vegan options if you need them.

Very friendly and polite staff, terrible portions and bland taste. Katsu curry on Udon was like the cheapest chip-shop curry sauce. The small pot was not even half filled (half empty) see image. Disgusting and expensive slops. An insult to the culture.

Lots of seating for a fairly small branch, but offers the full Itsu menu, lots of vegan options, service is quick, was very clean.

We were there yesterday (13.3) at around 15:50 and were welcomed by nice employees.The man at the register (I unfortunately wasn't able to catch his name ) was really friendly/helpful and easy to talk to.If we ever visit London agian we'll definitely be back.

I went for a quick bite at Itsu on King's Road. I regretted 100 times. Low quality, unsafe, made me sick and spent the afternoon in bathroom. I had sushi and gyoza and the salmon smelled like garlic/ onion, very strongly, probably the knife was used to cut something else, garlic or onion, before was used on the fresh salmon. The gyoza, was just awful, not fresh, "smothered" in the vacuum packaging, with artificial filling that suppose to taste like chicken and cabbage. Even the sauce for the gyoza was gone bad. I would never go to this place again!

This is such a cool place for a quick bite or healthy meal and the simplicity in the decor gives you such a good feeling. It's clean, nice and the food is really good. Definitely a recommendation!

Be aware of thieves‼️‼️‼️‼️ Today my phone got stolen from the table. They are pretending clearing the table and trying to distract. I have reported to the staff and I was told this is happening every week. I’m so upset that the management in not doing anything about this 😡not safe at all Reported to the police and I’m taking further actions.

the girl at the counter was very nice and patiently helped recommend dishes suitable for children... the atmosphere is very nice, live orchids🩷 especially liked the quiet hall downstairs

Good food. Efficient service. Could do with some more space - was v tight to sit and eat

One of the worst take away visits i had and one of the worst meals I had in a longer while. Food was cold and tasteless. Place was totally overcrowded and dirty. I was there around 7pm with a friend. Place had a vive of Saturday 3am McDonald's visit. Dirty. Stuff resigned and falling asleep from tiredness.

Disappointing. Sushi was below par (Yo Sushi is much better) and the SINGLE female toilet was DISGUSTING according to my sister. I won't be back.

Bright lights lots of activity on the street. It's was OK. Busy so you know the food moves. Found Korean noodles sauce a bit too sweet but generally the food is fresh.

This is an interesting restaurant, you order most of your food from a kiosk and they have sushi pre made that you can pick up in the display. You have to pay with a credit card, no cash taken, in fact most of London is credit cards only. My Miso soup was very good as was the teriyaki chicken, the sushi was just ok, about what I was expecting at a fast food place. But for the the money and the fast service it was very good. The restaurant was keep very clean. Someone was always cleaning up the tables.

We went there the last minute of closing, but service was good.

C'est une bonne chaîne de sushi, les menus sont bien servis, plusieurs possibilités végétariennes. Cependant, attention pour les étrangers, ils ne prennent que la carte.

While the nigiri was ok, the “big’bowl chicken gyoza” was a big disappointment. To start, the soup was tepid at best and the vegetables were raw, uncooked. I lived and worked in Japan and Taiwan for years. An indifferent shop like this wouldn’t last a week.

Bland tasting noodles. Nothing Asian about this fast food. Not tasty, not spicy even though I ordered their spicy dish. Very busy though. The couple of seats and tables they have are uncomfortable. Seats are mounted to the floor but too close to the tables. Very hard to eat that way. If you go here order their take-out. But I recommend you go somewhere else for something better. Sorry to say ...

We went to the Southwark one for a quick snack. It was the worst sushi my adult daughter and I have ever been served. I had the salmon sushi. The salmon seemed okay but the rice was hard and barely cooked. A sushi place that can’t do rice? My daughter said the salmon on her dynamite roll was not fresh and didn’t eat it. Her miso soup was pretty awful, too. We threw most of it away and walked out. I’ve had great and not so great sushi but this was the worst. And there seem to be franchises all over London.

Ate here 16 years ago at our last visit to London. It is still great. Affordable and tasty. Had the Thai chicken with coconut curry sauce.

This restaurant was spotlessly clean and well staffed, who were friendly and welcoming. Food was to, Itsu normal standard. Food and drinks chilled cabinets were well stocked. The restroom was clean with good facilities.

Notre fast food préféré à Londres. Tout y est très frais, toujours très bon et très bien cuisiné. A cette adresse précisément il y’avait beaucoup de choix et une très très belle salle arrière. Le restaurant et les toilettes étaient très propres. Et les prix sont hyper correct.

The one in Victoria Street, where we went, is really nice, clean and the staff was very welcoming. It was our first time there. The food is fresh and very very tasty. Highly recommend

Me and my Family were looking for a place to eat dinner. We really wanted Asian food, so we decided to go to Itsu. I ordered a noodle soup with chicken. On the picture on the menu, it looked delicious! When I got my meal, I nearly shat my pants! I got the food in a cardboard box! Even the spoon was made out of cardboard! If you wanted some soup, you would have to drink from the bowl! Absolutely fuming! It looked old and disgusting! It was like something you would buy in a supermarket for 50p! Everything was made out of cardboard! The bowls, the spoons, the forks, and even their brains! Absolutely disgusting food! Don’t ever go here, I beg you!

Awful food, extremely salty and taste not fresh, feel disgusting

I go to this Itsu quite often and generally the service is alright, but there’s this one employee (male, thin, tall, grey hair, with glasses, usually wearing a small scarf) who is really rude. Someone should teach him how to talk to customers. I hope some managers will take this into consideration.

Friendly staff and surprisingly quiet but poor sushi rice

Itsu have a variety of stores located around London. I visited the one in Picadilly as I was in the area. You cannot pay by cash if you want to. When I queried this with the lady who served me she said it was something that came about after the pandemic and have not changed their policy. I would have given them 5 stars if I could have paid cash as the food was good and the lady who served me was polite and helpful.

Just popped in for a quick snack. All the staff in there were lovely all of them.

I have lunch here once a week. I like everything very much and tasty. But today I took sushi, they were not fresh. The smell and taste said that the fish was not fresh. The cook said it was from wasabi. This is not the first time I eat this dish and I know the taste of wasabi. In general, the impression is ruined.

Very good variety of options available for vegetarians both from the cold takeout and hot food menus. Service is extremely quick and dishes taste very good. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat or in a rush and cannot decide, Itsu might prove to be a welcome surprise. Also easily accessible since they are located in all major hubs in London.

Quality fresh food! Very busy and service at the till was fast.

Fast food, not great food. I must be spoilt because this ‘Japanese’ style food was below average. It tasted like it was all made from frozen supermarket items. If you have eaten real Japanese then do not go here expecting the same sort of food. Staff were friendly but wouldn’t return to one of these stores again.

Great sushi, their hot food is also tasty. Best time to go for sushi is 30 mins before they close for 50% off. Admittedly the sushi at the time it goes to 50% is not quite as fresh, but its priced fairly. Staff are freindly and polite, service at the tills was speedy meaning no ques. I didn't see any form while sitting in to eat. Take away and eat in is an option, there are more seats to the back, so ample space to find somewhere to eat your food before heading back out into the city streets.

I went to itsu next to the office and their portions get smaller and smaller. This is what a take away £7 Japanese noodles looks. Half of the bowl (which is already tiny). I showed it to the person serving, and his response was that it was made using standard itsu portions. A scam.

Walked and walked with grandchildren. Eventually moving towards Charing Cross Station, we decided to treat the children to an Itsu lunch. Quite busy but not packed. Ordered and paid for lunch £70. Two floors of places to eat. ONE toilet for everyone to use. When I used the toilet it was filthy. No soap and the area had clearly not been cleaned for some time. I spoke to a member of staff in the counter area when a serving staff aggressively interrupted and asked if there was an issue. When I explained, he said that they were busy. I said that was even more reason to keep the ONE toilet clean. Trying to talk he kept interrupting to say it will be dealt with. Minutes later, one of the serving team was cleaning the toilet. This is one of the team wearing the same clothes as they do to prepare or serve food. After cleaning the toilet, the person returned to the prep / serving area. If they are busy there should be people cleaning the tables and toilets. The same people should not simply clean toilets and return to their public / food facing work without changing. Absolutely inept. Food good though and in general the kids were blissfully happy.

Staff is nice and considering the price the sushi quality and tastyness if fair. But for better reccommendations check my insta @braggiapproves for food in London or anywhere!

Went to Bromley itsu (open maybe 6 weeks ago). Itsu is my favourite sushi in London but do not go to a Bromley branch. 1. Sushi salmon full house - not same taste as ones I buy often in situ Victoria. Strange taste of rice and just could not finish. Hope I will not get sick 2. Klean Katsu - taste perfect but small portion 3. Chicken gyoza noodles - is this joke that instead of hot soup is hot water without any taste. We end up seasoning hot water and dumplings in home with soya sauce and some chilled 4. Hoisin duck buns - excellent taste - no fault Not will go back to Bromley branch. There is better places in Bromley to have sushi. Not surprised it was empty. Maybe would be great that staff puts items in bags in you order as take away and stop putting them to the tray and for customer to package them.

I bought a rice bowl with spicy Korean chicken yesterday at Cheapside, London Itsu shop. The food was extremely salty, impossible to eat. Unfortunately I had to discard the meal after just a spoonful as the level of saltiness was dangerous to anybody's health.

I used to LOVE Istu but of late the portions are tiny and prices way to high. I got a rice pot today for my lunch and it was honestly 1/2 full and cost £8!!! If I had not brought it back to the office I would have asked for aa refund (or to at least fill the pot!)

Went to the Itsu on Baker Street, first time both my friend and I had been to the chain. It was a machine-based self service which was simple enough. The hot food was served quickly, and then you pick whatever else you’ve ordered up from...

Lots of seating round the back. Nice cool air con on a boiling hot day. Love itsu. Friendly staff. Hot chicken soup and veg gyosa which is my go to. Tip top.

Only sells rice, salmon and avocado really and now doesn't even use staff you have to enter what you want on self-service. How is this chain still running is beyond me.

I thought the sushi was very tasty and well priced for the portion size. I'm a little surprised at the negative reviews - the customer service was polite enough. I agree that it would be nice to be able to pay in pounds if preferred....

The place is run by a nasty woman, people in general in London were so friendly, she is bad. I only had cash and I was very thirsty. I ask her if she could just take the cash as I did not know only card...
