Itsu in Southwark

I went to Itsu without knowing anything about it, where a found a kind lady that took the order from me, she asked me if I am really hungry and if I wanted something spicy. I said yes, I am really hungry and I don't eat spicy at all. She suggested chicken noodles, which I agreed and bought. After a few minutes a soup was brought to me, which I never expected for the price of nearly £8 and to be suggested as a filling option (but I do understand that it was my fault I did not see it in the menu) and it was spicy. After talking to the manager about it being spicy, he told me that there is nothing spicy in there and a few minutes after I felt like a crazy person he told me that it might be the ginger. At no point I was offered a replacement and just sat there trying to eat that thing while my tongue was burning and having paid so much. I will definitely never visit Itsu again!

I love sushi! this is another one of my favourites and I would recommend this place to all my friends.

Food to go . Sit down soup noodles all nutritional and delicious. I liked the chicken with salad and you can add condiments on the side. Very busy at lunchtime.

Love the food here, it's fresh and good value for money. Staff are friendly and service is efficient.

Tasty, good price, wide selection of cold and warm food! Clean place and helpful staff, food is fresh sometimes I just can't decide which one to get as there are too many options!

I order the new grill chicken with rice. Sad to say that the food is very salty and the chicken pieces is very small. They just put a lot rice to make it full in the container box.

Staff is nice and food is always fresh. There's always options, never crowned, perfect to eat on or take away, always clean too.

È uno dei tanti negozi della catena Itsu per mangiare senza spendere una fortuna a Londra. Un pasto completo con bevande detox costano comunque una quarantina di euro ma dati gli standard londinesi viene considerato un pasto economico. Gentili, carini, educati. La qualità resta quella della grande distribuzione di massa.

A good spot for lunch - I prefer the hot food. They do tasty soups & noodle dishes, much preferable to a sandwich for lunch!

Awesome sushi and sashimi at amazing prices, not only you 'eat beautiful', but also do get to experience the amazing flavours of the far East for very reasonable prices :-)

Had a quick catch up with a colleague today - popped into Itsu for a spicy, hot and light soup. Sadly got a bland, lukewarm soup. Keenly priced but need to work on final delivery!

Exactly what you expect but done well. Sashimi salad is nice as are the corn cakes. Staff pleasant and efficient in service.

I got a vegetable curry here for lunch and it was ready really quickly. The taste was ok - not bad but not great. It was filling and a good price. I haven't been overly impressed with their food though. It seems there are more flavorable options available closeby that at a good price.

Enroute to a meeting dropped in and had my first ever fresh mint tea, I was pleasantly surprised, this is a busy outlet.

I went to pick up lunch on a Thursday and the place was pretty busy. I had the miso soup and for some reason they had added ginger, which was not expected and did not surprise in a positive way! I also had the edamame and a Health and Happiness box - it was good and filling. Prices are ok considering it's primarily a take away place. It's good for taking the food to the riverside and crash on one of the sun beds.
