Amazing food. Fantastic human staff. Dog friendly. And to die for cinnamon roll bun thingies. 😍 I went in close to closing time and was still welcomed in. Had a delicious salad and pasta. So delicious I ordered one to take out. I was gifted two buns that were heavenly! My very small dog loved the pasta too! ❤️

Absolutely delicious! Super friendly owner and nice and cosy. Had a poke bowl which is basically a plate with a little bit of every tasty salad dish they have and you can choose to add steak/chicken/halloumi/pulled pork etc. Full of flavour and very healthy. Can't wait to go back

Delicious fresh salad & smoothie from this organic & ethical place on the way to Leith. Being dog friendly was a bonus and very much appreciated. Our smoothies were great and we left SO FULL! Would go back if we were over that way again.

This is the BEST cafe I've ever been to, the food is truly epic and the staff are fab, particularly the absolutely lovely owner who made us feel so welcome. I had the most delicious halloumi ciabatta roll with avocado and fried egg, it came with the best tasty and generous side salad and perfect smoothie. It was the best food I had whilst in my weekend stay in Edinburgh and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. I'm going to make it a staple of any future trip to the city.

Recently moved just next door to this amazing wee cafe and popped over for some takeaway coffee and were warmly welcomed by the owners. We were even given one of their incredible Poke Bowls and will definitely be back for more. What local business is all about!

We wanted brunch meat free and our kind of food. I booked a table online (thank goodness I did ) and got instant confirmation . We arrived and got the warmest welcome like old familiar friends to the” best cafe in the world “ by Lewis the propieter. A table for two please. Water with mint sprigs arrived on the table . Now just to be difficult I fancied the main dish of a veggie burger ( it sounded delicious on the menu with apricots etc .) I didn’t fancy a brioche bun and I asked if I could have other bread . No problem here I had it served on a ciabatta roll . Absolutely the best most beautiful plateful I have had. Lewis asked if I would Like the hummus and goats cheese under the lid. Yes please !!! When it came it was a stunning plateful with exotic tasty sides . Morrocan, flavours spiciness......delicious. My partner had the falafel stand we washed it down with english breakfast tea . We just had to finish off with her a pastel de nata which was perfect not too sweet as some are and the very best flat white coffee. You have 2 fans from Aberdeen who will be back to visit you. Really I would recommend you book a table as it’s well known to the local community. Thank you so mush for great hospitality and value

Lovely fresh food. Large portions and happy, friendly staff. Interesting menu choices too. This is not your average street corner eatery.

Popped into Picnics Takeaway for a quick lunch, chose their spicy chicken wrap, husband had spicy chicken on baguette. Both were stuffed with delicious chicken breast, chargrilled with spices, fresh salad, cheese, chilli sauce. Very filling, excellent value and friendly service.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the first class lunch served to us at the Wednesday Lunch Club in The Gift Tree Corstorphine. Started with a delicious Amuse Bouche. Followed with cheese and broccoli quiche. Served with baked potato and coleslaw. Pudding was a scrumptious berry crumble with custard. Together with a hot drink. Excellent value!

This is a church cafe run by volunteers. It says it is an outreach cafe and an asset to the community - but this is hardly the case when the prices are off putting and more expensive than most cafes run as businesses. A very poor cappuccino cost £3.40 and my baked potato was nearly £8. It is set up in a church hall and the volunteers are pleasant but not exactly efficient (my baked potato was left on an adjacent table until I asked where it was). All the members of our table had their food delivered at different times so some were finished before others had started (we ordered together).
