Istanbul Grill Restaurant and Cocktail Bar in Bury

Went to Istanbul Grill last night for a friend's 50th birthday. Food was amazing as always. Restaurant was busy with a party of about 20, staff coped brilliantly with it all. Thanks again guys see you soon x

First time visiting Istanbul grill last night. Food was delicious, great atmosphere, staff very friendly and attentive. We will be back!!

Booked dinner Saturday night for three. My first time there. Our meals were hummous dip and stuffed vine leaves for starters. Chicken in creamy sauce with chips, vegan and vegetarian risotto. Generous portions, my choice was the vine leaves and vegetarian risotto. Absolutely delicious, the best risotto I've ever had, I order it often as it's my favourite. My sister and brother in law paid similar compliments to their chosen dishes too. Wine was excellent also, NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Good position on the High Street, with ample parking next door. Staff very friendly, polite and efficient. Enjoyable, cosy atmosphere with DJ playing some great music! Definitely revisit.

We had a family issue this evening and had to leave prior to having our food. The staff were so understanding and wouldn't even take money for our drinks that we'd had. We cannot thank them enough and will definitely be back as the food looked amazing. Thankyou all

I cancelled my booking with more than a weeks notice due to a family illness however they have said I am not getting my £80 deposit back. Absolutely fuming and would NOT recommend. They have also blocked me on Facebook so can't send messages etc.

Just been for a family celebration with 16 people sat on a table. The food was perfect, no problems with any of the orders and it was all served, piping hot, at the same time. We will definitely come back again.

First time we’ve visited this place. I have to say, it was a brilliant! The food was fantastic, the service was first class and the Tiramasu (which was provided complimentary by the way) was simply the best we have ever tasted. Awesome. Service was top notch and attentive. Fab freshly cooked, well presented with decent portions. Very clean and covid safe . Lovely modern environment. Can't fault this place was a great experience,l. Ps. easy free parking carpark next to restaurant.

Main course was great but the dessert was a dried up piece of cake that did not taste or look like sticky toffee pudding and ice cream was tasteless. Very disappointed with it.

Excellent service and delicious authentic food

Went out for our Anniversary last night. It was very quiet due to I assume it being a Wednesday. I had feta triangles for starters and my husband had creamy garlic mushrooms. For mains we had spicy lamb and sultan chicken. Hubby finished of with sticky toffee pudding. I was too full to eat anything else 😊 I have to say, the food was absolutely beautiful. Everything cooked to perfection. The staff were lovely and attentive.4 drinks also and the cost was £70. Absolutely worth every penny. Picked up an order and asked what was good for my son with a dairy allergy. The guy took the receipt back to the kitchen and wrote everything that was dairy free on it. Threw in a free pasta bolognese just in case. Thank you. A+++

You would expect this kind of restaurant in bigger towns or cities are lucky are we to have this establishment in Radcliffe if I could give it 10 stars for each I would some times they do specials but if they didn't I would still book to go there

1st visit here and a beautiful place. Top quality food and service. The staff are lovely ,very polite . A lovely warm ambience in the restaurant. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend it .

First time today at Istanbul Grill, very welcoming, treated the 2 little ones with Colourings and crayons, very attentive, e all had starters including garlic cheese bread and tomato bread the best I've ever tasted, we all had various meals which were all outstanding 😀 😋 we can't wait to go back. Well done to the chefs and staff. Highly recommend.

Delivery time kept shifting until it was 45 mins late... the upside though was the food was delicious, Lamb fell of the bone, perfectly cooked... would recommend and will definitely be ordering again.

Great restaurant. The food is good but the staff are amazing. They're exceptional! I enjoy my time every time I go here. I think one of the staff was called Afshin, he was a great lad. He helped a lot.

I had a delivery to Radcliffe and I had a very important friend round at my place and I wanted to impress then like I order all the time from this place I don’t but he said I will pay get what u want so I did and on the delivery guy coming I felt like some kind of criminal I paid with my friends card who’s something to do with the government, and I felt like a low life and that u know the card better work and I thought that’s not nice why would anyone be as draft as to have home delivery where I live and not have the payment for them so no I won’t be ordering again

The staff and atmosphere were fantastic but the food was disappointing. Too mich salt, too much smelly lamb that made us question the quality of the meat. The three stars are just for the two for 10 cocktails and the chicken. Might go back for the drinks, but I will definitely not order the meat platter.

So eaten at the Istanbul Grill for the Third time yesterday and we always give our honest experience of the restaurant, Cleanliness, food, drink, service etc. I have over 23,000,000 views and we honestly love Istanbul Grill in Radcliffe, We turned up on Sunday 24th March at 12Noon as the restaurant opened. We were warmly greeted and placed into a lovely booth, My Fiancee ordered a large glass of Red Wine 🍷 and I went for a pint of San Miguel(£6), My Fiancee really enjoyed her Full Bodied Red Wine, My pint of San Miguel was ice cold, Crisp and a really good pint. For Food we ordered 2x Lots of Three Plates of Tapas(£12 for 3 Dishes), We ordered the Mussels in a Tomato and garlic sauce(Also available in a cream White Wine sauce), Meatballs, Calamari(deep fried squid), Spicy Turkish sausage, Spicy chicken rolls, Garlic Mushrooms in a lovely garlic creamy sauce, We ordered some warm Turkish bread and steak cut chips. The Mussels were extremely fresh, Extremely tasty and the sauce was beautiful, The Meatballs weren't massive but they were so succulent and tasty, It was my first time trying Calamari but again the Calamari were extremely tasty, fresh, The Spicy Turkish sausage was juicy, meaty and slightly Spicy and very flavoursome, The Spicy chicken rolls were lovely, Crunchy roll with the chicken was another delicious dish, My Fiancee had the Garlic Mushrooms in the garlic and white wine sauce which she really, really enjoyed, The Warm Turkish bread was fresh, soft and came with Some lovely dips and the chips were very tasty, slight cajun spices which were again really nice. Food Portions were not massive but in all honesty the food was filling, The service was fantastic, Restaurant was spotlessly clean, Food was extremely nice, really tasty and really enjoyed enjoyed all the different tastes and spices of the various dishes. Then my Fiancee ordered another glass of wine and I ordered half a pint of San Miguel. Total bill with A Service charge was £55.80 but we rounded the bill upto £60. They also have Live acts on from Time to time(Check the Website for more details). 5☆ Across The Board - We Highly recommend Istanbul Grill.

My first visit and experience of Turkish food, I really enjoyed a selection of 6 of the mezzes (shared) on the lunch time menu. It was delicious together with the Turkish bread and very tasty chips! Reasonable price and great service. Will be returning soon.

Gave a pizza a go for the first time as well as what we normally have, just to see what it's like. Unfortunately the ingredients were very low quality and the fact that it was cold didn't help. Won't be getting one again and will stick to what they do best the grilled meat and lamb casserole.

Our visit here for my birthday meal, its was amazing, the food was absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend this restaurant. I had a sore head from all the zombie cocktails though. Me and the family really enjoyed ourselves.

Our second visit to this wonderful restaurant, and it just gets better. The service is really friendly and extremely attentive without being overbearing. The food is beautifully cooked and presented, of generous portion and very good value. This is now our go-to place for Turkish and Mediterranean food.

Hello . My friends and I were in this restaurant last evening and had a memorable night. Also, there was an Iranian lady (Ms Sorayya) from the experienced staff of that restaurant who was very kind and loving. We'd like to appreciate her and send our kind message to her. Payman

If I could have given a 0* to Istanbul I would have, this is the 2nd time we have recieved poor service from the staff here, the 1st time was New Years eve where we had booked weeks in advance and paid a deposit for a table, only on arrival to be seated in the back yard on plastic seats and trestle tables, which was not the New Year experience we had wanted or expected. However, we wanted to try something different from our regular restaurants and decided to give Istanbul another try, we had been once to Istanbul prior to the New Year evening this was when they had first opened, it had been a lovely evening. So friday night we were family free for the night and decided to try Istanbul again, we arrived early evening, the restaurant wasn't very busy and we were seated to the rear of the restaurant, the waiter/manager came over and asked what drinks we would like, however before taking the order he walked away, he then returned several minutes later to ask again for our drinks order, half way through giving my order to him he seemed distracted and again walked away, this time he had gone over to greet a group of 4 who were obviously regulars, and stood talking to them at their table, no harm in that however mid taking a order it felt rude bordering on ignorant, it was at this point my husband decided that the waiter/manager obviously did not want our trade so we got up and walked out, we decided to try Bury, where we had a lovely meal at the Swan & Cemetary chilled atmosphere, great service and lovely food. We will continue to support our little town with its selection of restaurants, Armaan, Bella Italia and Radcliffe Market food nights, who all provide great customer service to every customer not just the regulars. Istanbul will not be on our list.

Had a fantastic time at Istanbul Grill celebrating my mom's 60th birthday. The service was great and the timing between courses was really good. The food was great and reasonably well priced. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend going.

The food was really nice everybody enjoyed the meals service was great managed to get a different meal because the little one changed her mind and was happy with her new meal and did it quickly so she could eat with everyone else

The staff looked and sounded like they would rather be anywhere other than at work we got 4 starters between 5 of us but as one only had 3 meatballs they had to be halved the only thing shareable was the garlic bread. £6 for 3 meatballs is excessive. The main food (3 mixed grills) were very greasy the donner meat was hard and 2 meats were unidentiable. It was a belated birthday meal for 4 out of the 5 that attend but certainly won't be going back
