Disappointed that ceasar salad was full of deep fried pitta bread & dressed with Marie Rose sauce not ceasar dressing Asked for salt to be given pepper in salt (one hole) container Portions generous just not necessarily what expected

I agree to other reviews. I took my friends to this restaurant for lunch. The baked vegetables tasted like leftover and had gone sour. The chicken were not fresh neither, the Turkish yogurt has turned fizzy. We complained to the owner and he took it very personal started shouting. He kicked us out of the restaurant and told we should not complain while he also had other guests in restaurant.

What a fantastic meal for two. The smell of the charcoal grill enticed my wife and I inside, and we were so glad we did. The staff were so welcoming, no pressure, just friendly. We opted for the sharing platter. The meat was cooked to perfection, and packed full of flavour. Delicious flatbreads and dips, and a fresh salad, with a very tasty pomegranate dressing. The meal was great value considering the quality and quantity of the food. Thanks for a delicious time! We'll be back soon. 5*

Visited with family yesterday at 5pm (we were the only people in there) Food was nice enough but the service really let it down Initially the service from the owner was ‘cold’ and rushed and seemed like our requests were too much / annoying ‘can we have spoons for the dips’ which to me should be automatic anyway. He then came holding his phone and a packet of cigarettes saying he was leaving and someone else would take over serving us. This was a young lady wearing an inappropriately short skirt and who although gave good service she never went round the table to give the food or clear the table she handed everything from the end of the table! Absolutely no reason for it as there was space all around our table and no one else sitting next to us (or anywhere in the restaurant for that matter) The food was nice but based on the service and lack of atmosphere I wouldn’t return. We usually go to Turquoise or A La Turq, both of which offer the most lovely, friendly, chatty, typically Turkish service and this just doesn’t cut it!

After asking my wife and daughter if they fancied going out for something to eat, they both said no. I decided to go on my own and I wanted to try Istanbul BBQ kitchen. I arrived and was asked to wait a moment while he went to see if there was a table available. I know this man was the boss because I have been to the restaurant before. On his arrival back he looked me up and down and said "I'm sorry we are busy". There were tables available but he just didn't want to serve a person on their own. I didn't make a fuss, I just went somewhere else and considered writing this review. So anybody on their own, don't bother with this place, go to The Botanist instead.

Manager of the store was incredibly rude making our visit quite uncomfortable and unpleasant. Other staff were lovely. The drinks were also not great.

Lovely welcome from the bar manager and land lady as we walked in. The lounge bar and toilets were very clean. As the current land lady had just took over the running of the pub, there was no ales on offers. This is something that she is looking to get sorted in the not too distant future. Defo put this place on your list of pubs to visit when in the area. Good luck, Three Horseshoe's, see you again sometime!!
