You really can't beat this place for the most amazing gelato. I've been a lot over the last few years and have never been disappointed (I particularly recommend the fruit flavours - made with real fruit and delicious!). The team there are so welcoming too. A must visit if in Oxford. If I could give more than five stars I would.

Read the reviews..... they are right!! Walked past several other ice cream places because the reviews for here were so good. They had just freshly made a batch of passion fruit, so I had that along with salted caramel in a waffle cone with a wafer. Huge and yummy. We sat on the benches just outside in the sunshine and enjoyed. Would definitely come again.

Revisé este lugar justo antes del cierre, tuvimos la oportunidad de ir a Oxford hoy y lo primero que querían hacer los niños era conseguir una crema de uso de lo que llamaron "la mejor heladería del mundo" y lo hicimos y ¡era! Gracias de nuevo ?

Volvería cada semana si viviéramos más cerca.Me encanta el helado y siempre me gusta probar lo mejor que cualquier localidad tiene para ofrecer, así que TripAdvisor nos llevó aquí. Había una gran cola, pero cuando llegamos a nuestro turno, el propietario fue muy paciente y se complació en explicar el origen de los sabores. Sorbetes elaborados con ciruelas de su jardín y moras recolectadas la noche anterior. Gelato de miel de sus propias abejas. Probamos 4 sabores, todos deliciosos. ¡Una pequeña tienda tan fantástica donde la pasión realmente brilla!

Great range of flavours, and amazing texture and taste. I really don't think you can do much better than this in the uk. Certainly worth the money.

Best peach sorbet we have ever had, currently enjoying it on a bench outside on Broad Street. Made in the shop by very friendly staff, we are impressed!

We had four Gelato flavours made from organic milks and creams which they say comes from a local farmer. The strawberry, mango, the Biscotto cookies and cream, and pistacchio Gelatos were all very delicious.

My friends and I were studying abroad in Oxford for the past two months before getting sent home, and I can officially announce this is the most amazing gelato you will EVER eat in your life. The owner is the coolest guy, he makes the gelato by hand every morning with fresh ingredients, and it shows. Once we discovered this place, we were going several times a week to try all the flavors. I definitely recommend the Oreo and the Biscotti! Please try this place, you won’t regret it! Thank you to the owner who was always so funny and nice to us...I’ll miss your irony.

If you like ice-cream then you have to go here. You can either buy a cone or a takeaway insulated carton. The gelato is amazing, the owner is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly as are the other staff we met. They have some great looking chocolate but to be honest the ice-cream took over and I didn't get a chance to try any of that.

These ice-cream flavours sound too good to be true, but they taste as good as they sound. Don't think the prices are high, you get value for money. It's spotless, and if there isn't a queue then dive is 'cos there soon will be!

I love this place. The ice cream is always excellent as long as you can fight your way through the queues.

Ok, they are not selling gelato, it was just very average ice cream, Ferrero Rocher was just awful. Bitter and nothing like what gelato should be. Very very disappointed.

My favourite thing about this place is how welcome I always feel, sometimes I will have queued for a while, have people pushing to get in behind me - but the counter staff always make me feel like I'm the only person in the room.

I hadn't heard of this place before, but I have often seen people leaving Oxford's covered market clutching delicious looking cones of frozen goodness, so decided to go and investigate yesterday as there was a rare glimpse of British Summertime that needed celebrating.

I enjoyed this shop, first off it's located in the covered market. And was open on a Holiday weekend where most the other shops were closed, so score, you got my business and I got your ice-cream!

Situated in Oxford's covered market, this shop has a good range of gelatos, many flavours to choose from. I went for my favourite of Salted Caramel in a cup, double scoop of course. Serving size was just right, nice and creamy, freshly made they say. Definitely above average, prices spot on and worth a try. The shop also sells a large range of excellent chocolates.

There's a reason why IScream won best ice cream in the South East in 2018 - it's seriously good stuff. Well worth a visit, £4 for 2 large scoops so reasonably priced too. Just go, you won't regret it.

I only tried the vegan flavours, but this was the best vegan ice-cream I've tasted in the UK. A nice change from just sorbet. And the guy running it was so friendly and helpful! A great little place. Only suggestion would be some non-plastic spoons since the vegan selection will probably attract the zero-waste audience too!

This Gelateria offers extremely fresh home and handmade gelato in a bunch of flavors - each one (at least the ones we tried) a fantastic flavorful experience. We loved it so much we went back the next day. Do visit, you’ll love it.

Our friend led us to this wonderful little ice cream shop featuring small batch ice cream and gelato. With a wide range of flavors and unusual combinations, it was difficult to choose. We opted for two scoops to enjoy multiple flavors. Definitely worth going out of your way to get a bite of these frozen treats!

Situated in the covered markets this small gelateria is great in it's offers! Very good choice of different ice creams, coffees and sweets and chocolates. Founder Graham is a very friendly man who let's you try the different ice cream to make the decision easier - it's really difficult!

I recently went to a wedding where IScream had a cart. It was delicious. Unusual flavours such as elderflower and more classic flavours with a unique touch (e.g strawberry sorbet with a delicious tangy creamy texture). The staff were super friendly and clearly very passionate too.

Really lovely establishment, with both gelateria and caffeteria as well as nice shop with delicious sweet treats. Homemade and genuine, Italian gelato with an English touch. Do not miss when in town!

Very hot day walking around Oxford. Stopped while walking through the covered market. My husband had a beautiful fresh elderflower ice cream , it’s his new favourite. My daughter had a classic chocolate and vanilla which she enjoyed it very much. I spotted an apricot but when I got to the counter I realised there was no ice cream there but joy a fresh batch was just made. It was gorgeous. There are about a dozen flavours available, all made on site. Excellent ice cream.

I go often with my friends to have ice-cream there, the shop serves variety of ice-cream options. I normally don't consume a lot of sugary food, but when it comes to this ice-cream I can't get enough. the shop also sells very good chocolates I bought some last time as a gift for my family. the people there are so amazing, so cheerful I really love to take my friends there every time someone in town. I will miss when I leave Oxford.

A delicious gem in the heart of the Covered Market. The service was fast and friendly. I have no pictures of my gelato because I couldn’t wait. It was all wonderful!

The weather was fabulous so decided to stop for an ice cream. Very pleased we stumbled across Iscream. They offer a different range of flavours to most placea and the ice cream itself is just lovely. Well worth a visit!

The gelato here is exceptional. I had the salted caramel ice cream and it was the perfect amount of sweetness and flavour. The pumpkin flavour (only around during October) is surprisingly delicious too - would recommend! The staff are also very helpful and friendly.

Great service lovely chatty owners but the best their ice cream. As well you can get coffee and chocolate grate place to visit. Thank you and my apologies that it took me so long to write it but I still can forget your iscream. Definitely will be back next time I am in Oxford or maybe just for ice-cream.

Had the passion fruit sorbet, really refreshing and tasty, and caramel ice cream which was delightful. Very pleasant staff and interesting choice of chocolates. Can't wait to go back to Oxford just for the ice cream.

Serious and imaginative ice cream, on a par with what you'll find in Italy. Keep an eye out for the seasonal fruit flavours - rhubarb, blackberry, greengage, gooseberry, peach - which you won't find in many (any) other places.

I visited IScream with my wife and four children for after-lunch ice cream and, wow, what a great experience!The ice cream is proper gelato; smooth and packed full of flavour. You can have your gelato in a range of cones or in a tub and the team there are happy to let you try a couple to aide your selection. There is some seating in IScream which is nestled in the corner of the venue with an attractive wooden bar to sit at and seats made from old milk urns. It's clear to see that the team at IScream take real pride in their job and you're met with smiles and very pleasant, helpful attitudes from all. The owner is in the mix and came out front to make sure we were happy with everything; he told us a little about the locally sourced ingredients and even took a photo for us. All in all, a delightful place to visit and by the best ice cream I've had in Oxford (I'm a big ice cream fan).

Saw this place in the covered market and finally visited in the recent heatwave! Although it was busy (inevitable on a hot day) the wait wasn't that long, the staff were lovely and friendly and the ice cream was delicious! I would 100% recommend a visit if you want good quality gelato.

Good mix of flavours, tasty gelato. We just beat the queue, but there was quite a long line after us, so don't visit in a hurry. All my kids found flavours and extras (sprinkles, chocolate-dipped cones) to make them happy. I liked that the staff immediately were able to tell us which flavours were gluten free or not. (Most were). My daughters thought the spoons were a little small.

I visited this ice cream and chocolate shop on a sunny Saturday- so no surprise there was quite a long queue! However, the staff did their best to serve customers efficiently with a smile. They offer a good selection of classic and some more innovative ice cream flavours. One of the more unusual was the rhubarb and ginger, which the staff were happy to let me try a small sample of- very tasty, but I'm not sure I could eat a whole cone! I ordered the mango, which was creamy and fresh tasting, with small pieces of fruit throughout. Prices are reasonable- a 'single scoop' is in actuality a very large portion of one flavour in a good quality cone.

This was ice cream and chocolate heaven! The mint gelato was amazing, so smooth and refreshing. The chocolate selection is incredible as well, could have spent all day deciding which ones to have.

So so so good!!! Worth the small queue. iScream is the Willy Wonker of ice cream and the Howler (double) Salted Caramel was (is as still here) off the charts!!! Until next time...

There are a million places in Oxford to get an ice cream on a hot day, and I'm sure they're fine. But if you actually want something good for a very reasonable price go find iScream. So many amazing flavours, and even the sorbet was really rich and flavourful. There seemed to be a pretty long queue the whole time but I assure you: the line moves fast and it's worth the wait.

This isn't a restaurant - it's a stall in the covered market selling chocolates and ice cream - and we had both - chocolates to thank the people looking after our house and for looking after our cats so well, and ice cream to eat right then.Both were superb quality and well worth the money and the staff were a delight to talk to - thank you.

Fantastic chocolate shop and ice cream parlour in Oxford's historic covered market. We visited on a lovely sunny day and joined the queue for our ice creams. They have a great choice of flavours, including sorbet. I chose cherry and tiramisu and my husband had the chocolate and coffee. You get the choice of tub or cornet. They even have the facility for you take away scoops in an insulated container. They are all homemade. The staff were very patient when faced with people making very difficult decisions!

Obligatory ice cream on a sunny day. Lovely staff and well stocked shop but Ice cream was the attraction. All freshly made and honeycomb was delicious but could have eaten almost all the flavours!

I had been walking round town for a few hours and in need of a pick me up. This place is great for that I had a tub of ice cream and a read of their "Banksy" art book. A lovely way to rest, recharge, and get heading home. The covered market is worth a look too.

This is definitely my favourite ice cream parlor in Oxford....or possibly in the whole of England. The staff are very nice and helpful, they'll let you try several ice creams before deciding which one you want and the ice creams are very delicious! The shop is small and cozy, the prices are reasonable. I've taken many of my friends who has visited Oxford to IScream and they all love it.

Lucky for us, Oxford was beaming with sunshine and all I could think of was having some icecream! I quickly googled the best icecream in Oxford and IScream came up. The shop is easy to find and quite quirky looking. There are some great icecream flavours to choose from - my husband and I tasted some before we chose our final two. I chose a Coffee flavour and a Caramel flavour. So so tasty! The staff were extremely friendly and the service was great. My husband and I walked away wanting more!! Yummy!!!

Delightful! We visited for the gelato after finding good reviews online, it was delicious-we were not disappointed, the staff were extremely friendly and so helpful too. The only negative was that the coffee was not to my taste - but thats not why we visited so doesn't really matter that much
