Little Venice Pizzeria in Oxford

Great local pizza spot. We were looking for a late night snack and happened upon this pizza place just before heading home. There’s just one guy running the whole place. We ordered two mediums and one large. The Quattro forage was good, but not excellent… Although we prefer to have Gorgonzola on our Quattro- and I think they had cheddar or something else. One pizza had almost every topping, and we still added more with mushrooms and garlic. Once we ordered, they said it would be around 15 minutes and in exactly 15 minutes we were back and our pizzas were ready.

Received the complete wrong pizza which was a shame, ordered chicken pesto but opened to find plain pizza once home, unfortunately too late to send back. However, plain pizza was still lovely so probably will return

Ordered takeaway via Uber eats, the pizza was delicious, I had the Mexican chicken, my partner had the pesto chicken and both were very tasty. Will definitely be ordering again.

Vinnie is the man. Always makes the best meals and leaves me not only full of great pizza but great laughs and smiles. Honestly can’t stress enough how much of a great guy Vinnie and his team are. Always making the highest quality pizza. If you really want to be fully satisfied. Vinnie has made a pizza named after me called the “Nick Special” feel free to order one and make your day. Definitely recommend ordering in person and the service and laughter you’ll have will in itself make your day. Thanks soo much to little venice pizzeria for getting me through the year soo far.

pizzas stone cold waited far too long

Recently purchased 3x take away pizzas here during a visit to Oxford. The service was quick and efficient and the topping were generous although maybe not the tastiest pizzas we’ve ever had. Still, they were good value for money and the kids demolished them without complaint.

Absolutely love it! The pizza are yummy! The best and must try are the Quattro Formagi 🧀 and the Spicy Beef 🍕 Yummy!! Price is very reasonable £9.90 for a Large (14 Inch) pizza. Highly recommended!

We visited the place on June 2023. We got a pizza and a calzone. The pizza was fair. Quite thin and with a crispy end. The calzone was a bit small, but very tasty. It also had extra topics on the top of it, so you do not end up eating only bread. The prices are quite economical. Stuff is friendly and the have got couple of little tables and chairs to sit just outside on the road. We definitely recommend the calzone.

Crust tastes like frozen pizza. Toppings are not generous, nor do they seem fresh. This pizzeria is not good. Wish they would improve, I might come back.

Thin crust and base, but generous with the toppings. The pizza tasted really fresh and not at all greasy. The opening hours do vary, although the time I went ended up being just after opening. Amazing value for money, and the garlic dip was a nice touch!

Just Eat failed to provide a driver, then shifted the delivery window. The biggest problem is that the restaurant has already cooked the food. It was spoilt-looking and barely warm by the time it arrived. Whilst Just Eat should be receiving the worse review here, I believe that the restaurant could have done more. Two phone conversations with the restaurant informed me that Just Eat were given a better ETA than me. The right thing to do would have been to cook a fresh pizza ready for the driver to take. Late food should at least be good. Especially early on a weekday evening, when things are quieter.

Thin crust, thin base, a superior takeaway pizza. Beware, due to popularity closing hours vary, likely lacking staff - a particularly Oxford-centred affliction for all food and beverage businesses.

Very small pizzeria in a quiet car-free street with a variety of flavours and honest prices (at the time of my visit). Service was kind and timely and most importantly, my 4 cheese pizza was delicious.

Had to park around corner. As Road closed. Had a couple of tables outside... this is a takeaway. Not restaurant Odered food not fast food but really good. Fresh pizza dough rolled out for every pizza. A bit lacking in toppings but for the price point amazing. Enjoyed trying 3 different pizzas. Would recommend it and definitely eat there again. Well done keep up good food.

I got the Little Venice Pizza. Best pizza I have eaten in Oxford and pricing is on point £11.49 for a 12” mozzarella stuffed crust and a San Pellegrino can. A request to the Pizzaiolo, can you do a potatoe and pancetta, that’s my favourite combination 🧚🏼.

I'd loved to have taken a photo but I totally devoured it. I got a 12 inch pizza and cheese cake for under £11 - all the ingredients were fresh and had clearly been prepared in house. Cheesecake was phenomenal ! Will be back

It's a very small pizza shop that looks very homey and welcoming. The service was fast and I didn't wait long for my pizza. The pizza was very affordable. It was tasty but had no wow factor. The crust was edible which is a big bonus. It also came with a free dip. I would go back just for the affordability.

For the price I was really quite disappointed discovering a sausage and onion calzone where the sausage was frankfurters instead of Italian or even British sausage. I’d strongly recommend they change that. Otherwise it was pretty good.

Pizza from here is delicious. Not greasy, plenty of toppings, really nicely flavoured and cooked. The staff are friendly and they are quick, and deliver too. They also have a brilliant deal monday to wednesday to get 2 14 inch pizzas for £14. Will definitely be coming here again!!!!

Great bang for buck! Delicious thin crust pizza. I had the Venice which was ground beef, pimento peppers, onions and chicken. Protip - go and eat it in the nearby college green.

Cold pizza an hour late. Writing this while I heat it in the oven. Have ordered four times. Two times we have had problems with the service. Taste value is (usually) better than the others during lockdown, but I won't order again for the gamble.

Incredible quality pizza - truly some of the best in Oxford. The service here is incredible as well - when our Just Eat driver didn't show up, Mark from the restaraunt personally delivered our pizza, which was so generous - have ordered from them several times and every time it has been a just wonderful experience. I will definitely be stopping by once eating-in opens up again after the 'rona is through!

The best pizza in oxford that I’ve tried. Also great customer service - Just Eat messed up the delivery (driver didn’t show) so Mark delivered the pizzas himself, which was really impressive. We’ve ordered from them a few times before and the food is amazing.
