BBuona Pizza Bar in Oxford

What a fabulous little place! Was recommended by an Oxford student and wow, she was spot on! Authentic Italian food made with ultra fresh ingredients. We had a burrata starter that was out of this world! Creamy deliciousness! Dinner was a Salame pizza which included eggplant (melenzanne). So tasty, with generous amounts of farm-fresh toppings. Perfect blend of succulent tastes.

Another amazing experience at Bbuona. Our favourite is Friarielli and it is absolutely amazing. Our 15 months old son was also happy to have meal there- very family friendly atmosphere and Roberta was extremely kind to him as well. Perfect weekend brunch/lunch in Oxford.

We had the loveliest Saturday evening here. Great atmosphere, super attentive & friendly staff, & the pizza was something special. Even the bread & olives were a cut above. I dined here with my flatmates about a month ago and it was amazing! We did the Pinsa Experience and absolutely relished the unlimited pizza of exceptional quality! A truly special place—we managed to try many of the pinsa.

The carbonara and parmigiana romana pinsa pizzas were delicious. The tiramisu was also very nice. It was however very hot inside the restaurant and quite crowded. I also just realised we were overcharged. Overall I would probably eat here again.

We love Bbuona, best pizzas in Oxford! Been there already couple of times and the food and service never disappoints. During our last visit, Roberta was really kind and was able to accomodate all our requests about the food which we really appreciated.

On my aunt’s recommendation we went to Bbuona. There’s no pretentious decor or mood lighting but who needs that when you get pizza as good as they make at Bbuona! The restaurant is clean, comfortable and friendly. The food is amazing! We had the trio of bruschetta and a pizza each. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly, hard working and attentive. If you are in Oxford give the chain restaurants a miss and go to Bbuona you won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely beautiful pinsa/pizza and Cannolo!!! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Roberta was amazing, so friendly, good humoured and she even single handedly pulled up the huge outside umbrella for us before it started raining. She made the date night special by brining us a candle when the lights wouldn’t come on. The pinsa/pizza was honestly the best I have had outside of Italy, so I knew the menu was authentic. The ingredients were fresh, well balanced and delicious, and that pizza base and crust, perfect!!! Such a hidden gem, very reasonably priced and I can’t wait to have a trip to Oxford to sample what else they have to offer.

I really enjoyed the pizza/pinsa at Bbuona tonight. But the thing that really stood out was the friendly service, including being particularly welcoming to my 18-month old daughter! The waiter Matteo was especially friendly, and even let my daughter try some gelato :) Thanks to everyone at Bbuona for a great experience - we will be back!

My friend and I made our way to Bbuona following seeing the amazing reviews online. We booked online in advance and were attended to quickly as we walked in and offered a choice of tables. The atmosphere was warm, busy but not too busy that it felt crowded. We were given menus and told we simply go up to the counter to order, thus did so when we were ready. The food came in a very timely manner despite it being quite a busy Saturday afternoon. The Pinsa were amazing! They were fresh out the oven, heat visible rising from them. I ordered the Margherita and my friend the Margherita con Bufala. The dough was absolutely incredible - light but crisp on the edges with a beautiful flavour. I was cautious it would have a strong sourdough flavour, as i am not a fan, but this was not the case. The tomato sauce was fresh with the perfect level of sweetness. The mozzarella was also very flavourful. The proportions of all these components were perfect. We both finished out Pinsa happily! My friend also got a freshly filled cannoli to go, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were friendly, polite, and chatted to us as we left. I would highly recommend Bbuno to all and will most definitely be back for more of their amazing Pinsa and service 🙂

This is such a great place! The Pinza is amazing, and so are all the entrées. I went there to celebrate my birthday with friends, and the staff surprised me with a tiramisu with a candle. Truly unique. Would totally recommend!

Small Italian place with Italian products and young and very kind Italian staff, Matteo served us. I was there on Friday night and it was full. The ham and mushroom pinsa is delicious! They also have pastries and limoncello. Recommended if you are in Oxford and fancy an authentic Italian meal ;)

The pizza and cannolis were great! It’s fun that you have your own pizza wheel to cut your pizza just how you want. Lasagna was good, although a little too cheesy for my taste. The staff were delightful - super friendly!

We live in Devon but always eat here on our trips to Oxford. The food is excellent. The restaurant has friendly, helpful staff and we can’t find a better place to enjoy pizza.

Mediocre food. Dry lasagne. Ordered a garlic bread for which they charged me £1 extra for the garlic but delivered it without and then pretended it did have it but then made me a new one anyway that actually did.

What a fantastic spot! Stopped by for a bite with my family and three small kiddos. BBuona is buona indeed. The pinsa is great. You’ll probably have to queue to get a table if you didn’t book, and the place could get crowded pretty easily, but it’s totally worth it! We had salsiccia and porcini, and parmigiana both were great.

This place was AMAZING! My job whilst shopping with my wife in Oxford was to pick out a nice spot for lunch - considering the variety on offer it wasn't straight forward. But a short walk from the shopping centre nestled next to a food market I found this gem. It wasn't finely polished like some of the other places on offer, but this added to its charm - so authentic it made me feel like I was on a break in the Mediterranean itself. The food was amazing, but the icing on the cake was the service provided - I'm sad I didn't catch her name, but the lady at "front of house" was so warm and friendly it made the place feel like a home from home - I honestly can't rate this place or her service highly enough. The only thing I'd add is that it wouldve been good to have paid after the food so I could've added a nice tip for the team. Maybe a little contactless tap machine by the till with a set amount would be a good start.
