The staff were very helpful in organising an evening meal for our gardening club. The good was excellent and well served by the friendly staff. I would thoroughly recommend it for a group dinner.

We visited at the recommendation of friends who really do know their restaurants. Surprisingly enough they joined us at the table and an excellent meal followed The skate wings as a main course were superb. Reilly was the perfect host and great compliments to Pav the chef!.. In fact thanks to all the staff for giving us a great dining experience. This is now firmly on the list and we'll be back!

We were a party of 30ish who visited late afternoon. We are all sat in a private side room which was great with the kids. We mainly had the carvery which was lovely with lots on offer. Usually carverys a bit stingy on the meat but we were really impressed by the portion sizes and found all the staff really friendly. Will definitely return!

We had dinner which was excellent - delicious food and a good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly. We were also staying overnight and the breakfasts were great - cereal, toast etc all available as well as a delicious full English.

We spotted this nice looking Pub whilst driving out for the day and turned in for lunch. The pub is well kept, comfortable, cosy & warm, and staff attentive. We had steak and ale pie and lamb which were well presented, hot and totally delicious, and the draught beer was top quality. When it came to pay for the bill my wife went to the bar to pay it while I nipped away. When we were underway I asked what the bill was and when she looked discovered that they had automatically charged us well £5.60 service charge without telling her she had the option to refuse. Apart from someone delivering our food and clearing away the plates we went to the bar for drinks, to order food and to pay so where was there any service to charge for? This is a rip off and had I not been further down the road I would have gone back in to complain. You can't be allowed to get away with this exorbitant charge ontop of the payment for goods which should include an amount for service etc.

Superb. Myself, my fiancé and our 9 month old came for dinner and we lived every minute of it. Warm welcome, lovely homemade food and a great selection of gin and beers. What more could you want? A extra special mention to how friendly the guys were to our daughter. They made a real effort which isn’t always the case. This place is a real Cotswold gem. Visit it and you will have a great time!!!

My partner & I recently moved to the Cotswold village of Upper Rissington 6 months ago & we've been exploring lots of great places to eat out both for lunch and dinner. I have many years experience of this region, having lived in various places since 2000, so apart from a 6 year hiatus to North Oxfordshire , then I am very familiar with all the places to go and visit etc. So, having seen that the Hillier family have now taken over at The Inn for All Season near Burford, it seemed an opportune chance to pay them a visit, which we have done twice now and on both occasions, we were warmly greeted, well looked after and have been served with some delicious dishes of food, all washed down with nice wine and drinks from the bar.The venue is warm, cosy and inviting and has a lovely charm and relaxed atmosphere about it. So all things considered, I would strongly recommend you pay them a visit, especially if it has been a while since you have visited before the Hiller family took ownership, as they've done a brilliant job.

The traditional Sunday roast at its best! Cheerful friendly staff and very generous portions of well cooked food. We will definitely return!

We stopped off for a Sunday roast while travelling back to Cheltenham. we were not impressed with the toughness of their roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. The chicken was also a bit dry and the pork had no taste. The waitress looked tired and didn’t seem bothered with our being there either. We won’t be going back there again

Stayed before and highly recommend as very dog friendly ( green open space at the back leads to country walk). Converted stable at the back is peaceful away from the busy A40. Good pub grub to high standard, friendly and family run. Cotswold Best is a great beer 3.8%. Cotswold have many excellent pub/diner/ hotels and this is one of them. Bring back the eggs benedict for breakfast?

I fully agree with all the previous great reviews.Our family group of 7 were most impresssed with the service, the general atmosphere and most of all the high quality of the food, it was delicious! Thank you for a most enjoyable visit.

We stayed here for one night and had both an evening meal and breakfast. We couldn’t fault the food. The Inn serves food a cut above your normal pub grub. All food sourced from local areas. Don’t let its remote location fool you. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the food. Worth the visit if you are driving past/ in the vicinity.

The Inn For All Seasons team looked after us really well; food - Sunday roast, cauliflower cheese and a couple of desserts (Cheesecake and creme brulee) and a children's meal with good portions. The chef is an incredible talent. Service - brilliant, attentive and genuinely lovely people. Location - perfect with plenty of options for walks off the beaten track. We'll be back for more.

We had a two night stay here and it was so relaxing. The people were lovely and very friendly, nothing was to much trouble. They have an amazing chef, the food was tip top, beautifully presented and great to eat!. The room was very warm and comfortable as was the bed. All Covid rules were adhered to with a one way system around the restaurant area and corridors. I could no fault this lovely Inn and we will be returning.

Me alojé aquí por 2 noches en septiembre. ¡Me encantó! Restaurante relajante que sirve comida fantástica. Los protocolos de Covid están vigentes con un sistema unidireccional y el personal de servicio usa Ppe para el servicio de mesa, así que me sentí cómodo con eso. La habitación fue renovada recientemente y tenía todo lo que necesitábamos. Ambiente muy acogedor y relajado. El desayuno y las cenas completos de Cotswold eran perfectos. Stopped for a few drinks and a light bite ... the Drinks were served to us flat ... then our new drinks were served to us with lipstick marks on the glasses. Not great really .. won’t be returning

We were given a warm welcome by the bar staff on what was a terrible night of rain. The waiter was patient explaining the dishes also that everything was cooked to order so a longer wait was required. A perfect combination of excellent food, the Oxford Blue Cheese soufflé was sublime, the best I have ever tasted filled by roast hake and local cheeses which included Alex James blue. Our group raved about the lamb shank and other dishes all made from scratch. Charming friendly service and cosy lit fires made this a perfect evening.

What an amazing find through Brit Stops where you can park you camper for free over night.. The Inn For All Seasons is highly recommended by us, lovely old pub with fantastic staff , really lovely food and good beer .... We will definitely be dropping in here again.

I took our Sunday Lunch Club here and we had an excellent lunch. There were thirteen of us, and I was a little worried as it was quite pricey for a Sunday lunch, but it was well worth it. We had pre-ordered, and the meat and vegetables were done to perfection and the starters and desserts were excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely go there again.

Driving past and saw the sign for All day Sunday Roast, so thought we'd pop in and try it. So pleased we did, they gave us a warm welcome, took our order straight away and within 10 minutes our roast meal arrived. Wow! Absolutely delicious and so much food, i was truly pogged!

Me, my husband, his dad and a couple of friends popped in for a sunday lunch on our way back to the Isle Of Wight, the customer service was fantastic and we was made to feel very welcome. We all ordered a sunday roast, omg it was fantastic and all freshly cooked, would highly recommend to family and friends.

Spacious pub with helpful, friendly staff and great food. Group of 17 hungry walkers fed promptly with perfectly cooked roast beef and plenty of veggies. The fish soup was also delicious with all meals freshly made.

If the service was any quicker I would have missed it. Great value, quality veg, nice gravy. obviously cooked by a chief. Loverley atmosphere. Arrived 2.45 on a Sunday, the expected response for food in this area at this time is "no" we walked into " would you like a table!!!!

I have never experienced such bad service - ever! Had I not been with friends I woukd have left, however not wishing to embarrass them, I stayed. After reminding them we were still waiting for drinks- 3 times- you would have thought they would have tried a bit harder. They didn't. My food order was wrong, however I could appreciate that souffle might sound like soup.....good practise would be to repeat the final order back to the customer however my husband enjoyed 2 starters (to correct the order would take 20 minutes, and after a 30 minute wait for a bottle of wine I just accepted it) so he was happy! Every drink order needed chasing up, and if the restaurant had been busy I could have forgiven the delay, but there were only 3 tables eating! At one point the waitress carried on cleaning a table rather than chase up our order..... again, if there had been people waiting to be seated I could have understood, but there wasn't and it came across as just plain rude. Another customer asked FOUR times for a slice of bread to go with his meal, but 20 minutes later gave up and left! In the end we just had to laugh - it was like a real life fawlty towers. So why have I given a 2 star review? The building is gorgeous. The staff were clearly either new or untrained - they were all nice people, and just didn't seem to have a clue, so you can't lay the blame with them. They were really well presented in smart uniform in a lovely venue - "all the gear and No idea" pretty much sums it up! And the food was good, if not a bit over salted. I never got to try the souffle that sounded mouth wateringly yummy, and alas I definitely won't be going back to try it. Being local and a very regular diner outer, I am reluctant to leave poor reviews but sadly this place is one I have no wish to return to. We were actually scouting it out for a party of 20 the following week - and I'm so glad we did as they would never have coped despite their seating capacity

Needed somewhere for lunch and a nearby pub I'd used years ago now had such poor reviews we tried here. Great staff, Butty Bach beer from near home, and wonderful food. My wife had the Thai curry which she said was perfect and I had the ham, egg and chips. The ham had been cooked studded with cloves and was delicious.

Hemos manejado muchas veces, pero nunca tuvimos una razón para parar. Fuimos a comer en la víspera de Navidad, ya que estaba a medio camino entre Oxford y Gloucester, para una reunión. Nos detuvimos por una noche en el camino de regreso por el norte a través de los Cotswolds, elegí este lugar principalmente por el precio de ganga de la habitación y la ubicación de la posada. The Inn is very welcoming to MoHos and friendly throughout; the food, service, drinks and ambience are all excellent. We both had fish, each a different type, both were superb, Christophe the chef definitely knows his stuff.

The Inn has served great food promptly for many years, but since it changed hands last year I've visited twice and things are not as good as they were.

Food was not seasoned. Lots of it. Was given a menu for father day saying 9.95 for carvery but was told that it was 10.95 to pay for extra staff. Not good.

Staff always professional, food excellent but not "fussy", wine list the best for miles, informal but characterful dining and bar areas and the best range of Armagnac I have seen, even in France. Cannot recommend highly enough ... we were warmly greeted by Joseph who is cheerful and friendly putting us at ease from the moment we arrived ... then brought the Chef into the Restaurant to adapt the Menu to meet my exacting dietary needs ... my resulting meal was awesome ... staff are warm and friendly as well as professional and attentive

We stopped for lunch here at the weekend and liked the look of the baguettes which were described as being filled with hot meat from the Sunday roasts (beef or pork) together with apple sauce in the case of the pork. It was Sunday lunchtime, but we had to wait a long time for our lunch. When it came they were basic baguettes filled with thin sliced meat that had definitely not come from the day's roast. Also there was no apple sauce with it. This was a rather disappointing experience.
