Indish in North Lanarkshire

What’s happen to indish? I love this place. I know they have another restaurant but does anyone know where it is in Glasgow?

Having been here before and found it good, we ordered a take away last night. We were severely disappointed, lamb was dry and over cooked and had fatty bits in it, sauce was bland and naan bread was still doughy in the middle! The meal was severely overpriced. Wouldn’t recommend and definitely won’t be returning!!

Had Penne Aribiata which was excellent. Not too spicy but had a kick. Partner had South Indian garlic chilli lamb which was perfect. Staff attentive. Lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

I am a semi regular visitor to Indish restaurant, and every time I go, the food is excellent and the service is second to none. Today was a veg pakora to start, chicken tikka madras main, pilau rice and garlic naan. Every part of the meal was hot and very tasty. The staff are very attentive, and happy to converse with you like you were an old friend. I highly recommend you visit here as you will not be disappointed.

Despite this review being dated December 2021, we have actually been here many many times. Why? Because it's really good food at a really good price. We've been here alone, brought the kids, brought extended family, all loved it. One of my family own a restaurant in Englandshire and loved this place. The new updated bar is a great place to relax and have a few drinks. If you like Indian food, this place is great.

Fabulous food, house wine Sauvignon blanc superb, not so great on the cosmopolitan cocktail, think 🤔was pre prepared from a carton, not fresh! service from The Nieve, Shannon, Tess and Thomas team makes the visit 🌎 class thank you 🙏

This restaurant has had a few different owners and identities over the years and this was our first visit to it in its current form. It won't be our last! The lamb samosas were fabulous as was the accompanying chick pea Dhal. We went on to have Tandoori Lamb Chops and Garlic Butter King Prawn with a beautiful Garlic Paratha, Tarka Dhal and Pilau Rice. Excellent meal, very authentic and beautifully spiced! Well done.

Had a couple of takeaways from here since we have a curfew on the hospitality industry just now. Good was delivered hot. Everything we have had has been delicious especially the chicken tikka chasni. Staff have been very friendly and helpful the one time we got a collection.

Attended Indish with a 14 members of my family a couple of weeks back. Had a fantastic meal, that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Can’t fault this restaurant at all, the staff were so pleasant and served us without a mistake. Would recommend, and we will definitely be back.

I visited as part of a large booking, and the food was fantastic. The sharing platter for starters were moist and flavourful, the curry’s were delicious and the amount of meat was very generous. They also had a great menu, with loads of different varieties of curry. My only complaint was that the service could do with a polish. The staff were all very nice but they could use some training. Examples include placing all of the side plates at the top of the table and leaving us to pass them down the table ourselves. Also, I appreciate we were a large group but everything was so slow. We only had popodoms and some platters to start then we didn’t get our mains for 90 minutes after we arrived. A lot of the staff seemed young and I think they could do with some more training, but it wasn’t a big deal, I will definitely be back!
