Delicious and reasonably priced

Unfortunately I can't get takeaways very often however whenever I get a chance to get one this is my go to place. Every time I receive my correct order either on time or early!!! Food is always still steaming hot and tastes amazing with flavour and rich sauce. I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes Indians. (And the price is reasonable)......

Used this place for just under 3 years, always been fantastic, but tonight was not the best. But will give another try.

We ordered a take away for four people, it was very quick. The food was really delicious, good portions, plenty of meat and sauce. All very tasty, we didn’t find the chicken madras too hot, it was just right.

I ordered mix grill the Nan bread was like a stone it’s really shame on your guy’s putting not fresh Nan bread in microwave oven 😡

Pretty Poor , done a order through Just Eat just after 8pm at 1st estimated time for delivery was 9pm, but didn't turn up after half 9. Food was getting cold Very Disappointed 😞

Ordered a delivery tonight, we had the hyderbadi biryani, tarka daal, garlic naan and tandoori chicken. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot. The biryani was amazing and I would say is definitely enough for 2 people to share. Would highly recommend!!!

Amazing food but a bit too expensive

Dispite food arriving on time all food was cold when arrived and had to be reheated.

Easy ordering, delivery was quicker than expected (which I don't mind) and food was yummy.

1st time ordering. I've given up on quite a few curry houses as some seems to be cutting corners and the quality and portions now shows for it. I'm very please with my order, plenty of flavour, and cooked very well. Delivered bang on time too. The only small criticism was one of the curry portions was a tad small, the carton just about half filled. But will order from here again.

Food was good. The chutney, red sauce and chilli pickle was very good. Lamb rogan tasty. However the food was an hour early, with no notification on the app that it had gone out for delivery. Huge inconvenience

Good comms, professional and timely delivery, very tasty food

Whilst food was hot and some of the items were ok I just didn’t like the curries or rice. The Madras wasn’t great, wasn’t that spicy and flavour was a little bland. The special rice wasn’t great either, I know that this comes with some veg but it had a random selection of veg which I’ve not experienced with an Indian special rice. Would think twice before I order again.

The lamb tikka was chewy, the special fried rice was unseasoned (and had sweetcorn and runner beans in it never seen that before and it definitely didn't work!) and the peshwari naan was devoid of coconut. The food arrived promptly, a whole hour earlier than the predicted delivery time, maybe in future they could use that time to ensure the food is prepared correctly. On a plus note, the delivery gentlemen was polite.

As a loyal customer for many years, Indian Village will always be my favourite in Ipswich. The quality of their food beats all local competition by a mile! Not to mention that their staff are all extremely friendly and helpful :) Their service, food and speed of delivery is second to none and one I will always recommend to my friends/family! 10/10

The curry was terrible. Swimming in oil which had separated and risen to the top. And had no spice whatsoever. Not even a hint of chilli.

Really disappointed with Indian Village for the last couple of takeaways. We have used them for many years and highly recommended them to many friends. My husband always has a chicken Madras and recently this has become too spicy to enjoy. I had the same trouble with the Pathia and had to order something else this time. Still extremely spicy. We both love spicy food but it has become too hot to enjoy. Have they changed their chef? Disappointed. We will give them another go, but if the heat doesn't tone a bit, we may have to find somewhere else!;

Very disappointed with the last couple of takeaways. We have used you for many years and recommended to many friends. Have you changed your chef? So sad as we will have to change our favourite takeaway if the heat doesn't reduce slightly.

Lid had come off the curry so papadum and Bhagi were not so fresh and a bit soggy. Lost some of the vindaloo as lid was not secure.

Have to say I just had a lovely garlic chilli chicken with special rice and garlic naan. Enough for tomorrow too! Heat, nice and hot. Absolutely delicious! Hubby enjoyed his Jalfrezi with special rice and garlic Naan. Don’t think he will have any left for tomorrow! Yum.

Delicious curry! Definitely my favorite place yet. Everything came as needed. Prices are as you would expect and the food was hot on arrival. The only thing is, everything was spilt over eachother but not too much lost.

We have ordered from Indian Village around 5 times now. Food is great. Just Eat delivered someone else's order in error. Indian Village very politely sorted that out while I was on the phone. My order was delivered shortly afterwards and the delivery was still on time. The food still great quality and steaming hot.

Arrived early, food was excellent, we ordered the set meal for two and there was loads of food, very good value

Friendly guys that work there, the food was piping hot, even after driving it 15 mins to home. Food was really good, can tell it’s good quality spices they use. Definitely recommend them, prices are due to rise to keep up with inflation but I would still return to keep this gem of a takeaway going. Thank you

Chicken kurma was watery and tasteless, chicken tough

Food arrived a little late but thought it was worth waiting for my biggest disappointment was my samosas was missing which I was very much looking forward too. It was a treat for us to have this takeaway and disappointed my order wasn’t complete

Very disappointed. The food was, let’s just say, inedible(they’re lucky I’m not putting anything worse) and customer service when dealing with the complaint was careless and inconsiderate. I would strongly advise you to think twice before eating here.

Food was incredible, I had tikka masala/rice/naan/popadoms and it was all cooked amazingly. Curry was fresh and all my food arrive still hot. Phoned the restaurant to ask a request and they were so polite and helpful. Would 10/10 eat here again. 👊 one of the best curries I’ve had 👊

Chips were cold and extremely over priced. The tandoori sauce was very grainy and it’s a “special “ of there’s!! Disappointed. Onion salad is listed at £1:99!! How can that be?????
