I ordered butter lamb which wasn’t butter lamb. It was a korma. The lamb was so tough I literally had to spit out each piece. I ordered some popadoms with mint sauce. The sauce wasn’t anywhere near as good as I’ve had from other restaurants and the popadoms were stale. They weren’t crunchy at all. Really disappointing.

We have used this takeaway for years and never had bad experience until now. They appear to have changed from a curry specialist into a general takeaway serving burgers, pizzas and kebabs. We ordered curries we have had loads of times before and the quality had really gone down. I’ve had better from the supermarket. Likely won’t be going back.

Had a takeaway Delivered through Just Eat, Never again was more than an hour late, Food wasnt even labelled all looked the same in plastic cartons. Onion Bhajis were good but the Chicken on Puri the Puri part the bread was shocking. All veg was undercooked and meals padded out with cheap onion, not got a dish right . Naan undercooked and was tasteless . lack of ingredients. No offer of any compensation given for food late not even a complimentary Poppadom > Never again,

Lamb curry was absolutely disgusting. The lamb was rock hard and the cheese naan had a hairline amount of cheese inside it. Waste of £15.

I was recommended to try this as I like trying different takeaways. Must say disappointed with the outcome. Ordered Lamb Captain with mushroom pilau. Lamb was overcooked and chewy and the curry was nondescript. Must say the rice was good.

Ordered via just eat… have to say really disappointed with our meal. The chips were like they’d been cooked numerous times.. the pilau rice was grainy, the naan bread was burned… all in all the food was of a very poor standard. A waste of £23. Really disappointed as I usually love Indian food… I won’t be returning

The good points were that the food was delivered early, the chapatis and vegetable rice were ok. And now for the rest of this review. The rice was served in the usual foil tray and I expected the chicken madras to be served in the usual larger foil tray but alas it was served in those small plastic cartons you usually get your mushroom from a Chinese takeaway and at £7.95 a portion, to say I was overcharged would be an understatement. The chicken madras sauce lacked both flavour and substance and the sauce was a tad thin with no real depth. I tried this takeaway as a change because I wanted some chapatis which the Balti Hut, sited almost directly opposite, do not do. Would I try this takeaway again? No. I found it to be overpriced, under portioned with the quantity being less than the volume of the rice and lacking in depth of flavour. The search still goes on for a decent Indian takeaway in Middlesbrough.

Good food delivered really quickly via Boro Eats app. We ordered lots of starters, favourite was the mixed kebab, bhaji good and crispy, poppadoms were quite small so I would order more next time. Curries rice and nans all good. Will order from here again

Being the first person to review here i feel a lot is on my shoulders. Well i have to say i was not disappointed in my food the chicken was cooked well and clearly marinated prior to cooking. The curry was delicious and didn’t leave a single grain of rice, it was tasty and not watery like some places. I would definitely use this place again. Had it delivered so unable to comment on staff etc.

It appears since I visited before Christmas this place has shut down. Curry was delicious, as was the naan bread but it was all very expensive, to the point I ignored starters and popadoms. The main, naan and a soft drink cost in excess of £30! As much as I enjoyed my meal, I don't think it was good value for money and there are other Indian restaurants in walking distance that are better value and serve equally as nice dishes.

Delivery is shocking 1hour and 45 minutes later. We were quoted 1 hour maximum, so bad. Food is only ok, it’s changed hands. It is different....

Lovely meal with nice atmosphere. The staff were attentive. The menu had a great selection, with clear descriptions of each. We like to try new dishes, so this was great for that. The food came out promptly, without being rushed. It was all tasty, excellent portion size and piping hot. Sharing sides were served on a warmer to keep its temperature. Overall we were pleased and would recommend.
