Been using these guys for years, best curries in wilmslow by miles! My go to is the Lamb Chilli, super tender lamb accompanied with huge flavour. Garlic chicken kebab is AMAZING!… one of a kind no one else in Wilmslow does it! Massive kebabs cooked fresh, served on the best naan bread I’ve ever tasted in my life… even the pizzas are really good, which I wouldn’t usually expect from a curry house. 10 out of 10 all around. You can tell the staff really care about what they do, and I absolutely love that!

If your after real food that’s fresh hot and cooked to an exceptional standard this is the spot family run business that really know how to cook traditional food and at great prices every mouthful really does feel like a gift from god

Ordered a mixed tandoori , no lamb chop or sheesh kebab just chicken and wasn’t hot and 25 mins late , used this place for 15 plus years always good but not as good anymore and the prices have increased a lot

Well what can I say usually I can tell if an Indian is good by the popodams they were chewy and not crispy the dips were small onions had mint yogurt in it the onion bargi was dry and raw in the middle the lamb chop starter again dry and chewy the main I had mix grill with 1 prawn in it for Ann extra £2 all again so dry not fresh and chewy the sauce I had it was a jalfezie but no spice no chilli but had pea in it? The vindaloo was passable the rice was bland and no pilau flavour in it the naan breads were large but very doughy I can honestly say the worst Indian takeaway I have had for a long time sorry won’t be ordering again

***🚩🚩🚩🚩 READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH THEY ARE MICROWAVING FOOD🚩🚩🚩 Bad customer service and bad food don’t order takeaway from Indian Ocean Wilmslow This is the food we received last night From Indian Ocean on Lacey green It’s absolutely disgusting that they would send food out like that to customers. I ordered two kebabs and a cheesy chips and a normal chips. Upon the arrival i I could smell that it was burnt before I had even unwrapped it. The kebabs were burnt to a cinder and the cheesy chips they look plastic and the cheese looked see through. So I called Indian Ocean to explain that I was not happy how my order had turned up and Is there anything they can do about it. I spoke with the owner of the shop first and then his son and they were both very rude I said it doesn’t even look like there’s any Cheese on it it looks see through the owner replied to me that there’s definitely cheese on it I did it myself and put them in the microwave 🤦‍♀️🤢 THE MICROWAVE I said you have put my cheesy chips in the microwave why? He replied that’s how we always do it to melt the cheese 🤦‍♀️ I explained that under no circumstances should you be putting any food in the microwave 😱 and that the chips should be hot enough to melt the cheese themselves I then said about how burnt the kebabs were he said I don’t know what you want me to do. I replied I would like a refund for the food I have just ordered that is not edible. The owner very rudely told me I not giving you refund or any more food you don’t order here again you order somewhere else 😱 So that’s how you treat your loyal customers of 20+years absolutely ridiculous. The son then came on the phone and asked what the problem was so again I explained it to him he’s agreed with his dad (Owner) that it is how they have always done the cheesy chips and I said that you shouldn’t be putting any food in any microwave I also explained it’s not just the chips it’s the kebabs too they are burnt and I would like a refund as they really are not edible I’ve just spent £23 on this and it turns up like this he said it’s my dad he stubborn I explained yes as am I and I would like a refund otherwise I will be putting it all over social media he replied well I was going to sort something out for you then but Because your still going on I’m not. How dare you speak to me like that how rude of you both as business. I will also be reporting you to the Food Standards Agency For your food handling How you food is prepared How your food safety is managed The quality of the food Presentation And your very rude customer service. I never usually complain but I’ve had enough of putting my hard earned money into these shoddy business that are putting food out there like this its absolutely disgusting. Stay clear of Indian Ocean they Microwave your food 🤢

So I called here as I needed delivery and was so in the mood for a curry. Knutford doesn't really deliver and the one nice restaurant that does was so busy as closed due to refurbishment. So I thought if try here. I'm so glad I did, the guy who answered the phone was so helpful and helped me pick the best curry based upon the description I gave of what I wanted. I'm out of the catchment area so paid more for delivery and I would again because the food was so delicious and I haven't got 1 thing to complain about, and I complain about anything that's anything but perfect! Thanks il definitely use again

Just ordered a balti husband went to collect it was watery, its not even been in the same.room as a tomato never mind pan! The chicken was dry and hard round the edges tried calling no answer or too busy!!! Never again i can assure you that. P.s. garlic naan was pretty nice

Great people and service. Sunday night and we were hungry and called them last minute. Food delivered with a smile to the door despite it being last minute and the end of the week. Food piping hot and as promised. Great service.

Amazing indian takeaway the best in the area by far

They don’t do fresh donner kebabs!!! Saw him reheating it with hot water!!! Never eating here again! I should have challenged it! Just paid and it went straight in the bin! Lovely staff though…

Ordered a meal the other week and it took two hours to be delivered and was nearly cold and forgot the drinks which were delivered an hour later ordered a meal tonight at seven oclock and am still waiting an hour and a half later has really gone downhill latelyd

Rubbish waited over an hour for a shop order when I asked why it took so long he said because there busy phone only rang 3 times and one was a wrong number But worst thing was seeing one of the staff licking there fingers whilst preparing food never again Also there idea of salt and pepper chips are just salt and ground black pepper

Very rude customer experience I went in for a take away and waited forever for it in spite of them saying 30 minutes I ended up waiting nearly an hour Kitchen is not the cleanest neither concept of gloves and hygiene is unheard of I would not be going back

That meal shish chicken kebab suposed 2 be 5 tiny pieces of chicken n put long minced thing init wasnt ordered cold chips with loads a black bits in was basically a galic nan bread sarnie with no filling worst food i ave ever had not recommended at all n cold

We have just enjoyed another excellent Indian takeaway from Indian Ocean in Wilmslow. The food is cooked from scratch fresh and prepared with fresh ingredients. There is no doubting the excellent taste of the food and the friendly service. All at very reasonable prices.

Food was beautiful had a chicken rogan josh and mrs had a lamb biryani great value great food great service person we spoke to on the phone was really helpful and the delivery driver very polite!! Will definitely be going again!

I’ve been going to this place for almost 7 years. The chef there is a absolutely amazing! You can just tell that every dish is made to perfection. Literally everything is fresh and absolutely amazing value for money. I’ve moved a few miles away now and must say I’m missing the fact that it used to be next door. Haha top curry house. Keep it up guys!!! James.

Use same oil for chips tasted like curry

The kebabs are spot on and the chefs are brilliant.

Just went for a simple medium hot, and mild curry with rice and chips for me and the Mrs. My curry was really nice, the ingredients tasted fresh but with a fair amount of dried spices, expected with a small takeaway. My wife really did not like the mind curry, she said it was to greasy and lacked flavour. I think we will still try again and will review again.

I found a very long hair in the food. Staff didn’t want to know, not even remotely interested in a customer who has been there from the start. Not slating for the sake of it but a factual review.

Been a while since I visited but as soon as I entered the owner greeted me by name.Great food as always, Friday evening so busy but that's a good thing, must mean good food in demand and people are prepared to wait for it to be prepared.So glad to be back!

Wonderful food, really nice staff, very reasonable prices. Delivery is quick and always right, sometimes a little delay but that means its popular!

Took 90 minutes for the food to arrive. 40 minutes after they called us to say 'sorry the food is on its way'. The fried chicken was burned and dry, they messed up all the sauces and left the salad off the kebab. Won't be ordering from there again...

We have been using this takeaway for a long time now, the food is delicious & hot & if we ask for it to be tweaked ie hubbies sensitive tummy, they go out of their way to accommodate us! The lads are very friendly, know us by our names & we chat about anything & everything! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this business to anyone.

El personal es encantador e inclusive me llamó después de una hora de pedir disculpas por el retraso ya estaban ocupados. No tienes que muy a menudo terminan persiguiendo. Recomiendo encarecidamente!

Mis amigos y yo pedir regularmente desde el Océano Índico y el kebabs siempre son excelentes. El centro comercial 'kebabs son sin duda grandes y el mezclado de kebabs son enormes con bien cocinada, carne sabrosa y ensalada fresca, todo por un billete! No puedes equivocarte con un kebab desde aquí y entregar localmente, aunque normalmente tienen que esperar 50 minutos para la entrega. En general, una muy buena comida para llevar y la comida india es también excelente, si puedes soportar privarse del kebabs! !

Very good curry, always delicious and the freshly made naan bread is lovely. These guys also make one of the best pizzas in Wilmslow.
