Fantastic great tasting food, piping hot on arrival

Disappointed tonight. This has been my favourite curry spot for 15+ years. It's never been as good delivered as eating in but the curry delivered tonight was watery instead of ghee based which took away a lot of the flavour. The poppadom also tasted like soap and had to be thrown away. £1.20 for 1 poppadom is also too expensive plus a £3 delivery charge is too much. Hope they're not cutting back on ingredients because the prices are higher than ever.

0/10 overall. No greeting on entering by the solo lady. The lady was very poor in communication. She mumbles and talks at a low volume and fast rate, eating her words, overall barely comprehensible & very poor to comprehend. I would have to repeat myself often in order. At the end no thank you, or farewell or smile. Just walked off after paying! No decency. No manners. No respect. Very Fawlty Towers scene with a bad Manuel. The main meal started cameramen pipping to hot to eat for many minutes seeing the food is swimming in to much oil with poor amount mainly onions salad. I was not impressed. To much oil. She, esh kebab more like from supermarket not hands made in the kitchen. The chicken tikka was dry. The onion bhaji was too overcooked. Chicken pakora had thick rhino skin. Mediocre I had chicken ginger curry that had a nice texture and taste, but overbearing too much oil in the dish ruined it. The 2 roti that came with the dish, as per the menu states clearly, were cold. Halfway through the starter, she brought the main dish, only for me to tell her, of course, I'm not ready! She didn't see I was still, for all the world to see, I was still eating the starter! Crazy 3x, I told her I was not ready for the main meal. She looked very confused! Sheesh, I had to change the dirty plate & the serving spoon twice. She would place on the table the dirty menu I placed after ordering! It was nice for her to have cold water in a large Spanish-style large bottle. Only nice thing. Seating was nice. Clean eat-in and toilet with good hands and air-dryeFancy-cooked buckled water at the back wall. Very pretty. Rubbish Indian singing music in the background. After about 15 minutes finishing the main meal I went to the counter to pay. I was directed by her to the front part of the takeaway counter to pay by credit card. Now I perused the order paper she was calculating the total and saw a charge for the 2 roti. On enquiring this and stating as in the menu, it stated clearly these accompany the " traditional curry dishes", she then incredulously purports to have told me," I told you no roti with any curry dishes". I had to correct her that I agreed about the" main curry dishes". She told me again the same and added a mistake on the menu. She was clearly from her country. She was not happy & she could see she could not fool me with her clear falsehood claims. And said, id "ok, ok" and I paid the correct amount on the card. Then she suddenly went to the kitchen without giving me a receipt of the credit card or thank you or farewell. I thought she may have dashed back to the kitchen for some reason. Maybe she leave her copy receipt somewhere and come back. I patiently awaited. She never never back. I overheard him backbiting me in the kitchen to get work colleagues though! A man came from the back kitchen a coldly she's is all is ok. I said yes, I was, but I was not sure if anything else as the lady just went back. He says yes. Charming! No decency to greet on entering or thank you or farewell or thank for the custom to dine there from the last with attitude at the end. No manners. No respect. Very poor hospitality as a paying guest first time. From one's objective first impression and last why anyone in their mind would want to go back to such a place? For others, I see very good reviews who, most if not all, appear to be locals and in a group. But a negative attitude to an out-of-area and single person and try to hoodwink me to overcharge contrary to clear wording on the menu to be this in beech of the agreed contract is terrible. Oasis is 7* compared to this place in a way and does not cheat you to overcharge you with lies 100% I do not recommend this place. ZERO stars Zero service To oily food. Not professional at all.

Although delivered on time the Food order was incomplete, the curry sauce was missing from the tandoori grill. Food quality was very poor, my mixed starter was almost inedible as it was dry and i suspect warmed up from previous evening, my wife’s tandoori mixed grill was the same, dry and warmed up, made worse by the fact that the curry sauce was missing. Won’t be ordering from here again. Also the complaints process at just eat is ridiculous, photographic proof of missing items required !

Had 3 bites and threw it away tasted awful chicken pieces we're hard looked like they had put some tomato puree into a base curry and stirred it in a bit . A total waste of money.

Ordered for the first time on Just Eat - just had to put the whole order in the bin, hate wasting food, and can't believe this is served to people ! so disappointed- ordered paya , meat pilau and sweet rice with rotis - awful and inedible - tasted like they'd made a horrible thick curry Gravy like there was sugar or something sweet in it and thrown the paya in and then thrown hard not fully cooked rice into the same meat gravy and called it meat pilau lol ! The roti's were not fresh at all and were hard and chewy - sweet rice awful ! Probably the worst take away I've ordered in my life as nothing was good enough to eat - went by all these good reviews and couldn't believe what I got ! , what a complete waste of money - disgusting, I have never given such a bad review and hate wasting food but had no choice -

First time ordering from here, delivered just over an hour later, food was warm, not hot. Portions are not big however, my partner liked the Dhansak he ordered. We also ordered a mix starter for two, but it didn’t have any onion bhaji’s in it which the menu stated it did come with, so, I was disappointed with that. I don’t think the price is worth the small portions but the food was tasty!

Excellent but could the owner start to understand that condiments should be free e.g. chutney at least include 2 in small takeaways and 3 in large takeaways. Sorry to say ordered 3 times this month and standards of curries has fallen. All curries are watery and it seems the quality affects the taste. Used to love the chutneys but now they have becoming watery and taste is so different. Indian nights chutneys and curries were best now we are looking elsewhere. May 2024

Disappointing quality of food. Service was good but would not order again. Ordered pakora starter, And was microwaved to heat up. Very bland curry (Chicken madras & Chicken Khari). No chapatis sent with order either but charged for.

Indian Nights has to be one of the best places for a curry around here. They are always consistent. I would recommend chicken masala or chicken tikka masala!

Just order roghan josh and sent pieces of meat in crushed onions salt and chillies mixture with onion stips on top. No way near called normal handi never mind roghan josh. Price on line shows 9.20 but charge more. On website it says free delivery over £10 order in 2 mile radius but when I call back the owner said I charge £1 delivery. Mix started for 2 should have everything similar 2 but it didn't. It was not even fresh taste. Ridiculous tasteless and manorless food. I didnot even eat as dont feel like eating. I wish I can say please come and take it back and eat yourself so you know how tasteless it is.

chicken tikka nan was running in grease unedible also chilli sauce missing from one donner! please dont start your food to be all covered in grease! we have used u for years and last twice very greasy food

food was inedible. curry had a sour taste like it had too much vinegar or something had to throw it away. i did phone up and was told they did not know what had happenned but to speak to them next time i ordered and they would try sort something out. Big disapojntment as we have been using them for over 20 years.

Everything is usually spot on from here but wasn’t the best tonight. Missing poppadom which I paid for. Butter chicken isn’t like the traditional creamy butter chicken.

My 10 year old daughter and I went to eat in this afternoon. She’s a vegetarian and we struggle to find an Indian restaurant to cater for her other than vegetables. The guys her went out of their way to make her a curry that wasn’t on their menu. After checking that Quorn chicken pieces bought from Tesco by myself were indeed halal and contained no meet they took them to their kitchen and made her a delicious meal . We struggle finding food that she will eat so it was a real pleasure to watch her clear her plate and ask if we could take the rest home . Can not thank and recommend these guys enough. Oh and my Karahi was beautiful too!

Chicken tikka masala signature dish been eating for many years taste the same (minced chicken) and consistent always been a regular customer , recommend with tandoori roti , delivery and eat in prices are different, nice clean atmosphere and chef/owner is friendly, sometimes card machine is temperamental so be sure to have cash, overall chicken masala signature dish which fails to dissapoint!

Totally tasteless. What a wast of £27. We usually order from Aamans, witch is gorgeous, but my order didn’t process for some reason. I won’t order from Indian Nights Batley ever again. Please don’t waste your money.

Over charged by £10 delivery guy said he didn't have change and walked away tried ringing number and it's not real don't order food nice but you won't get change

What an awful experience we had last night after visiting this restaurant. The Cheif needs to find another job. Horrible food. 3 of us visited this Resturant as we had gone to visit a friend of ours at ice stone, we were hungry and thought we would try a nearby Resturant to eat. There was a sole lady to greet us and the place was totally empty when we entered. We ordered starters and main course meal. The popodoms had been cooked in old oil. Chicken pakora were off and smelt. The lamp chops had been boiled and had no taste to them. The lentals we got as a side dish had no taste at all. The chicken masala that had been recommended by the lady was the same , they had been minced meat and was tasteless. How can anyone spend time and make food which is not edible at all. We just got up , went to the counter asked for the bill , we told the lady that the food was not good at all. The chicken pakoras were off and that nearly made us sick. She still charged the full bill which we paid in full and the change told her to keep it also. Don’t waste your money, Avoid this place and go some place else.

What an experiance we had, 3 of us went their for a meal, the food was discusting. Food came, chicken pokora were off, no taste to the food. We just got up and paid in full and walked out, I would recomend avoid this place.
