Under new Management now Amani's...ordered Chicken Tikka Chilli Massala and Chicken Tikka Dupiaza, both dishes were delicious. Plenty of chicken, tasty and flavoursome...thankyou 😊

Ordered 3 tins of coke along with my order, and was sent 2 Coke Zero and a diet Coke. I phoned up to say they have sent wrong juice, to be told that’s all they had and I if I want them changed or refund I need to pay £4:50 delivery. I was left with juice I don’t like or want, Spoke to like dirt on phone Also being full suger coke I have over paid for the juice I now have, AVOID - Will sell send you anything and overcharge you for it and give you a mouth full for ur troubles.

we have been having takeaways every sunday night for a few years but the standard of food has deterioted we have had items missing from the order quite a few times the currys have been bland the lamb chops are lovely but onions and missing the yogout sauce main meal not so good this week we had raga rani which was chicken chick peas we got few chicken, beef which i dont eat and a couple of prawns which i dont eat t am sorry your standards are slipping we have lots and lots of indians to choose from but from now on giving this a miss from tony

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING! We normally order from here as it’s local and food is good. This time we were so very wrong!!! Over 2hrs for food to be delivered only to NOT BE DELIVERED! having a awful time to get this refunded as not received any food! Customer service at the Indian is DISGUSTING!! Iv been sworn at, told ‘Do I understand English’, threatened to come down to the takeaway and told to Shut up. WILL NEVER EVER EVER BE ORDERING HERE AGAIN!!! DO NOT GO HERE!

Absolutely awful - the order was wrong, the food was cold and the mint yogurt dip was off it was the consistency of cottage cheese. Didn’t eat any of the chicken but it looked like packet sandwich chicken mixed with a watery sauce 🤢

Ordered a prawn Korma and Butter chicken, both were just desiccated coconut and water (which had started to separate by the time it arrived) with either frozen prawns or gristly chicken, no spices, no flavour,slimy and cold, I threw mine in the bin, my son was ravenous so ate some of his, unfortunately he ended up with a really bad stomach a few hours after. Have reported to the council. I cannot understand how anyone thinks it's ok to charge people money for this inedible rubbish, I'm inclined to believe the excellent reviews they have fake and you can guarantee the chef doesn't eat his own food. Nasty, please see attached photos which don't show the full horror of what we received.

In my 60's now and I've been a lifelong fan of Indian food, having lost count of how many curries I've had. The 'Lamb Jill Mill' was exquisite if you have a yearning for something extra spicy. Fiery, full of flavour and packed with lean, succulent diced lamb. My only complaint is that I live 200 miles away from this restaurant and ordered when in York on business! The following time I was in Indian Elachi, I ordered SIX of these curries and went in to pick them up instead of a delivery. They freeze well back at home and I now have just one left to enjoy. Another great thing about Indian Elachi is you can see the food being prepared, which not many restaurants allow. Ignore some of the bad reviews here - it is under new management and the service was efficient and polite. And the food? Absolutely marvellous!

I ordered a delivery at 22.15 Supposed to deliver the food at 23.15 said it was all going through 23.20 they cancelled the order Pathetic need to look at their customer service better! Will NEVER be using them again!!!

Ordered at 17:57. Delivered at 19:41. No salad, no sauce and cold. Pakora batter was too thick and unpleasant to eat. Tried to call but took 40 minutes for them to answer by which time it was on its way. Would have preferred correct order, on time instead of online discount. Very disappointing. We will use a more reliable take-away in future.

The chips were stale and clearly reheated. The donner meat was inedible and undercooked. Curry was flavourless. Over an hour to deliver and very expensive.

I have never written a review before but felt really disappointed this eve. I ordered a dansak from here, which is one of my favourite indian dishes. I don't mind mediuim spiced food and every dansak I have ordered from other indian restaurants I have never had a problem eating. However I took one mouthful and it was extremely spicy (even my husband who likes hot dishes said it was spicy for him), in fact it was even spicier than his hot chilli masala . I telephoned to check I had been given the correct dish and the person on the other end told me yes. I explained that I was unable to eat it and how I had, had this dish many times before but I wasn't offered any alternative. That said, my husband enjoyed his meal and thank goodness for the onion bhaji, naan and rice. It was just disappointing about my meal.

We have had a few takeaways from Indian Elachi- I don't often post reviews but I wanted to because the food is exceptional. The naan breads are exquisite- so soft and flavourful, rice dishes are well cooked and tasty- we really like the passandas as an alternative to a Korma as we like mild curries. The service is good, it is VERY good value and they always give you free extras to sample. With the 15% off deal we can get a meal for the 4 of us for 20 quid and leftovers! Would not go anywhere else- Thanks!

Spoke to Indian Elachi about arranging a delivery service for bulk delivery to remote village same time every week. Very accommodating and arranged easily! Even if only 1 order will still come out to us and so far no delivery surcharges! Food is fantastic! Great quality meet and great tasting curries and sundries! I will not go anywhere else! Perfect, great food and reliable and efficient service! Helpful friendly staff and website is so easy to use with a bonus 20% off online orders and never had an issue with the website! 100% recommend and my neighbours all speak highly too!

Since changing hands and becoming the Elachi this place is amazing I like to think I'm a connoisseur of curry and cannot fault this place.
