We enjoyed a good meal here. We were quite surprised when the bill came and they changed us £7.50 for 4 pappadoms! That’s the reason for marking it down. I have never paid that much for them anywhere else.

Went here last night to celebrate our 10th anniversary what lovely polite staff from start to finish nothing too much trouble .food well what can I say beautiful hot tasty fresh well presented a delight...the only downfall was the potty mouth group of 3 on the nxt table don't get me wrong we all drop the F word now and again but my gosh not every other word in a family restaurant...but the staff were extremely professional throughout...highly recommended...

This was my first time using Just Eat. It was super easy to use and the delivery was reasonably priced. I'll definitely use them again.

Firstly the positives. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was good and portions generous especially the naan bread. Unfortunately the lamb is actually beef, the very ordinary house wine at approx £25 was way overpriced. And at around £65 for two ( no starter just a couple of popudums)it was the most expensive Indian we've ever had.

Decent food and friendly staff. Was more expensive than what we're used to but it was at the seaside so you expect inflated prices.

We were sent a wrong item, but it was sorted out quickly, and the correct item was delivered with some extra nibbles. Everything was delicious, and we would definitely order from here again

We were unsure which restaurant to choose but really pleased that we came here last Saturday. The service was excellent. The food was lovely and very nicely presented. Will definitely return. They deserve the custom.

The food was cold when it arrived and over 2 hours from when I ordered it.

We have just been & was very disappointed. The starter to share was very small,in size & portion.we tried the chicken bhuna & to be honest my local takeaway was miles better in taste & portion size.it was very bland & overpriced. Will never go again

Generous portions and good quality

The Bangladesh restaurant - That’s what the name should be. The food was not bad and quantity was also good. The service was fast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rusty Black and Golden ambience was unique. Pricing was okay. But the one thing I didn’t like is it was missing authentic Indian taste. It is NOWHERE CLOSE to Indian taste. It is 100% similar to all the other ‘so called’ Indian restaurants in Scarborough or any other small towns in UK which are not Indian at all. I would love to go again if they proud themselves selling Bangladeshi food. Because that’s the Typical taste of Bangladesh restaurant. PS: they don’t serve the massive family naan nowadays as they used to do before. They serve nice Ferrero-Rocher chocolate complementary with bill.

Bland korma didn’t taste of anything not a single think half a tub of rice just not worth the money

Possibly the worst curry we have ever had! How they can even call the dishes indian!! All came within 10 mins of ordering yet all cold, no taste, no spices, shaslick not even a shaslick!!

I had a little problem with the food, which the restaurant sorted out quickly.

It looked like saw dust in rice wich therefore ruined the meals that were cold. Gonna stop using just eat.

Special Rice wasn’t as described had peas in, it was described as onion, sultanas and almond flakes. Didn’t want peas in my rice. Also the chicken tikka masala was quite bland and runny. Paid for Delivery and the delivery guy rang he wouldn’t bring it to the caravan; he made me come to reception which is a nightmare as that’s why we ordered a takeaway in the first place as we didn’t want to head out

I have used The Indian Restaurant numerous times and the food has been good this time the chicken was very well done, the bread was inedible, the onion bargie was burnt and could not be eaten, and the king prawns had been reheated and cooked til soft the only f to complain and told that the owner was out of the restaurant but would phone me back didn't happen, I spent £

The onion Bhajis were lovely as was the peshwari naan and the dopiaza. I wasn’t too keen on the butter chicken, possibly personal preference though. Everything else was lovely though. I will try again, just might order something else.

Would be 0 stars if permitted as Food never arrived, what a joke...i don't even live or work in Scarborough and i managed to find the apartment, restaurant lied and stated that they had called my mobile and called the bell...nope there is no missed call on my phone. Jokers!! To answer your reply...yes im from leeds visiting Scarborough which i told you over the phone when i called to find out where my food was and you said you'd tried to deliver but obviously couldn't find the address so i stated that i found it fine and i lived in leeds😆 Carry on lying its ok as the apartment has a ring doorbell so i have proof that you didn't arrive with the food hence me getting a full refund and if you feel the need to blatantly lie i feel sorry for you.

Every dishes tasted the same and the portions were so little compared to the price. The most disappointing food was the biryani.

£10 for less than a portion of bad maccy chips and a poor example of a sauce. Please close your doors and have a re think.....

This was a lovely restaurant with helpful attentive staff. The food was plentiful and full of flavour,but not the best I have ever had. The decor was bright and clean. There was plenty of well spaced seating.

Our curries were great, a little disappointed with our naan bread, it was burnt beyond edible, so had to throw it away. Wouldn’t put me off ordering again though. Delivery was spot on and a very polite and friendly driver.

I recently dined at India restaurant and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The menu offered a diverse selection of dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. The service was outstanding. Our servers were attentive and offering excellent recommendations and ensuring our needs were met promptly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Scarborough. I look forward to returning soon!

Had a fantastic take away from here the other night. Visiting the area, and after a long days driving we were desperate to find food. The food was delivered surprisingly quickly, driver very friendly, food was hot in arrival, good portion sizes, the taste was amazing, best curry I have had for a long time! Ordered korma, tikka masala, samosa, chaat, pilau rice, garlic naan and aloo gobi. All of it was on point and amazing. Sadly only here for four nights, however very tempted to order again! Only gripe was the price, slightly higher than other Indian take outs I’ve eaten elsewhere but maybe that’s a local thing.

Fantastic night at India, 15 of us we're celebrating my father in law's 90th Birthday, the starter's and main course's were fantastic, we're from Bradford and they even cooked our mains Bradford style for us 😀 all the staff are lovely and couldn't do enough for us ,would definitely recommend this restaurant, we'll definitely will be back next time we're in Scarborough.

Visited today on a last minute date night and couldn't fault it at all. Staff were very friendly, service was quick and the food was great. Overall a wonderful experience. Would happily visit again when we are in the area

This is the best Indian restaurant in the north east. The chicken korma and vegetable bhuna and sundries were to die for. The family naan was such a good option to share between 2, or more. So yummy and friendly, really recommend.

Don't be put off by the outside. Very friendly staff and the food was excellent.

Not a bad curry, my madras was a little too watery for my liking, I had a pool of water that made my rice very soggy. Rice was over cooked and we didn’t get a salad with our onion bhagie. The other meals were good, not sure if we will use them again, this was our second time, so feel we have given them a good try. On a plus, they give a good discount for big orders, so give them a try,

Food arrived 30minutes after delivery window. Food was cold and didn't recieve some items.

Probably the nicest curry I've ever had! Had a couple of takeaways and 3 meals here recently and every time the food and service has been exceptional. Tonight's Dhesi Bhuna was simply gorgeous!!! Will be back very soon, very highly rated A*****

Today we tried their tandoori chicken, but it was a complete disappointment. The chicken had an excessive amount of food coloring, and the taste was affected by it. I suggest they reduce the use of food coloring in their tandoori chicken.

Very Expensive curry house in a yorkshire seaside town with £44 for the set menu with drinks on top of that well over £55 for 2 of you and a pint each. Can get same quality meals for cheaper price

Both myself and my wife don't eat meat (I eat fish though). Chicken was found in the vegetable Jalfrezi so I do not recommend this take away for non meat eaters.

I love Indian food I had quite a few over the years, but I have to say this is probably the best thing I’ve ever had. The lamb was tender. The ball was not too spicy would highly recommend and a portion sizes were brilliant

Me an my family went for a meal tonight the food was absolultley gorgeous the staff were amazing I'd of give a 5 star but 3 star which would of been 1 but wouldn't let me the drinks £20 bottle of chardonnay which is from lidl at £4.39 I know because I buy it weekly 😉and the other drinks are from a bottle and charging £3 £4 which were warm our drinks bill was more than our food bill for 4 of us and its all aldi an lidl drinks 🧐

Delivery was great with friendly delivery driver, but unfortunately that is where the positives end this time. Having had a few deliveries from here and enjoyed, tonight was not the case. Chicken in the curries was chewy and plastic tasting. Nice tasting sauces, but ruined with the weird tasting chicken. Such a shame and not sure I will be ordering from here again!
