Visited the fantastic restaurant with family and from the moment we walked in, we were astounded. Kay welcomed us with a pleasant greeting and was incredibly friendly. He really couldnt have done more to make us feel comfortable. Drinks came quickly and the mojitos were on point. Truly beautiful. For starters we had peri peri chicken with papadom - one of my favourite items on the menu. So delicious. Thank you for this. You outdid yourself. The mixed grill starters was succulent - my baby who is a fussy eater ravished this. And then the mains, the biryani was amazing - so different to what ive had before. The falvour of the curries - the spicy with the rich texture to die for! The dessert was no less impressive than the rest of the fruit. And delivered with such precision. Warm melt in you mouth chocolate fudge cake topped with rich vanilla ice cream and a dollop of cream. We were so heatwarmed by the service Kay and his team offered. They literally went to town and back for us. Indali Kitchen is a real gem hidden away. Be sure to give it a go and its a treasure to be found. Thank you.

Went with whole family where we received a friendly welcome. Food was amazing, the chicken and lamb balti, biryani was yummy!!! My favourite was the chicken pieces - WOW! Staff are so friendly and upbeat and they make you feel right at home, can also have a laugh which is great! Mocktails were impressive, will definitely be going again!!

Staying locally thought I'd Just Eat Ordered Rangela Lamb, Aloo Gobi, Pilau Rice Order confirmed and arrived early, still hot. The Lamb dish was promoted on the reviews for this restaurant. It lacked meat quantity and was very mild. The Aloo Gobi & Rice were very good. Promptness of the delivery was very impressive and overall I'm satisfied with the experience. I might try a visit when I next stay in Bolton to get advice on the flavours and heat in the dishes

Not had a meal from hear for a while as the food had gone down hill, so we thought we would give it another chance that was a big mistake. The kebab bar for two for starter, the lamb tikka wasn't lamb but beef and this was one reason we stopped going hear. the onion bhaji was chewy and hard like eating rubber There was no salad and no sauces just a few scrappy bits of uncooked onion also it was cold and greasy. The main meals where a few pieces of chicken in a very runny curry sauce and not a lot of flavour it was more like soup defiantly not good value for money I will not be making the mistake of going hear again

been having takeaways from here for last 2 years....good foo normally, much better than similar locally ..but tast week to celebrate daughters birthday had another....shockingly bad....2 x chicken jalafresi .. chicken boona and a chicken korma....absolute crap....the worst ever....new 'chef'...perhaps...but no excuse...dire offering and to be honest will not be going back....the worst takeaway ever....nothing in the curries apart from chicken and watery sauce...no veg to speak of, no peppers etc etc....flavour...non existant...very poor...AVOID...if at all possible.

Just aweful .dirty toilets and zero decor. The same sauce was used for every dish which is cheating . No skill involved in the cooking and honestly would have done better if they had bought a curry from Asda. Dontvwaste your money .

Usually order from here and have had no complaints. However tonight it was just awful. Chips didn't arrive so everything went in the oven. Rang and was told 15 mins by a very uninterested staff member. 30 mins later chips arrived all 30 of them. I swear I could taste vinegar I think they had been scraped off leftover plates. As for the rest of the meal well...very bland no seasoning, nothing like it used to be...have they got a new chef,?? If so then sack them.

Absolute shocker.... only went in due to time of day (17:10) nowhere else open and traffic getting bad. Wish we'd have waited across the road. Poppadoms where stale, Beer was on pretend draft (can see the cans being poured) Main (sylheti tarkhari) aparantly spicy lacked any heat. Severe lack of meat jut massive chunks of onion and peppers. Butter chicken was a can of warmed up coconut milk with think slices of chicken in. The unmistakeable 'ping' of a microwave seconds before we were served gave me the fear. Garlic naan was the only half good thing. For the money it was not good at all. I'm not tight, I eat at several high end restaurants and don't mind putting my money where my mouth is. This place is one to avoid

Food - nothing to fault - was ok but didn't bowl us over. Service - again ok but there appeared to be a HUGE difference on the warm welcome & fuss of 'regulars' versus us as 1st time customers. Drinks - a bit of a comical (& dissapointing experience) with this, whichever Rosé wine I chose there only seemed to be 1 (quite undrinkable) option - I suggested a soda mixer in an effort to make it more drinkable which I was charged for - at £13.95 a bottle I would expect to be able to enjoy my drink! In hind sight I perhaps should have declined the 'option' ... Atmosphere - we made a booking for 8pm (Fri) we rocked up to an empty Restaurant which was slightly unnerving (we nearly left but decided to give it a try). A little later 2 other groups walked in. Room/Decor - pleasant and neatly set out, but extremely glad we got to sit next to a radiator... Overall - yes was 'OK' - go along, make your own judgement, but sadly we dont think we will be 'rushing back'.

Far too cold to sit in here on a winters evening, we eat our meal while wearing our jackets and others around the restaurant where doing the same. A real shame as the food is some of the best Indian cuisine we've had in a long time and the service was spot on. We felt the bill was a little robust, especially considering the sub zero temperatures we were expected to dine in. We will be back but not until the spring!

This was our first time for four of us. We visited on a Friday night when there were 3 other couples in the large room with stairs going to the upper floor. We didn't want to sit in the middle near the door so went to sit near the window in the middle of two very hot radiators but somehow there was a draught and we had cold feet and arms. The special menu advertised outside for £9.95 was very good value and we all enjoyed it. The drinks were much the same price as other Indian restaurants and the service was good. We parked on the road by the restaurant as the Asda car park is not for the Idali Kitchen. I think the room needs to be warmer if we are to return again.

We went to the Indali Kitchen using a Groupon voucher. Given the price paid for the voucher we didn’t really have high expectations for the meal so we were very pleasantly surprised. Being midweek and early the restaurant was extremely quiet but that didn’t spoil our evening. Unlike many other Indian restaurants the sauces with each of our curries were light, nicely spiced and very tasteful as were the starters and side dishes. We will definitely go back!

From the miserable greeting we got when we walked in (the guy should not be dealing with customers). It was like eating in a large warehouse or as my partner put it like sitting in a company reception and eating a meal. Having a disco ball on the bar and some loud Asian music made it feel like we were eating at an Asian music rave. The service was prompt (bearing in my mind we were the only ones in at the time). We have eaten in many Indian Restaurants across Lancashire and the food here was like your average Indian takeaway. It was £6.50 for a pint of Kingfisher and a glass of Cola. Crossed it off the list and definitely won't be back. By the way if you do go, ASDA's car park isn't for the restaurant.

Groupon deal for 4 people plus wine. Booked Sunday tea 6pm . No group on deals Friday and Saturday. Took 2 grandchildren with us 4 and 8, they said there was a children's menu. Word of warning..... They ask if you want any drinks first, and expensive. We had to wait 1 hour before the starter, the children had to wait until we got our mains 7.30pm. They were bored and hungry. The choice for children was chicken nuggets or mild curry. The place wasn't busy, maybe because the staff all looked fed up and miserable. Food was very good.

I'm not really sure about writing this review! While part of me wants to share this great restaurant with other people another part doesn't want it to be so successful we can't get in! However ...... a group of four of us went to the Indali Kitchen mid-evening on a Saturday night after booking beforehand. I'd seen the building near an Asda store being transformed from an old pub but this was the first chance to sample the food. The building is bright and modern now with similar inside decor, all designed for comfort. The friendly and quick service started straight away and continued all evening. The menu here is pretty extensive without being confusing and includes a few new dishes we hadn't tried before. One of these was a starter of minced fish on a puri which two of our group ordered and declared "delicious!". Poppadums and a prawn puri starter for me all proved very tasty and authentic and a great way to start our meal. The main courses varied although three went for chicken in various curry strengths and I had a peshwari lamb dish that was new to me. This was really succulent pieces of soft lamb in a delicate sauce with a kick plus onions and pepper. I had a plain naan with it and boiled rice and really loved this new dish. Judging by the speed the other mains disappeared, we all really enjoyed our choices. Sweets were the usual range of pre-frozen dishes - one of us had a Cadbury's chocolate dessert and I opted for a Funky Pie of ice cream, chopped nuts and biscuts which was gorgeous. The drinks' menu was broad enough for all tastes. The final bill for four of us was very reasonable indeed, especially considering it included several rounds of drinks, and our lovely waiter brought us complimentary Bailey's and a whisky to round off what had been a very positive dining experience.Because it's not been open long and it's a bit hidden away, the Indali wasn't very busy that night but I feel certain that this will change. I just hope we can continue to book what is likely to become a favourite restaurant.

We have eaten here 4 or 5 times now and also had food as take away. I can honestly say it's the best food in Bolton and definitely on a par with any food we have had in India too! The service is always very good and though it lacks a little atmosphere it's still my favourite. Its been several months since we last went and I note someone mentions new ownership so we will see when we visit in the next week or so. A friend of ours lives in Thailand and the first thing he said when he came back was when can we go to indali! The other good thing is that unlike other places we hae never had an issue using our taste card here. I willpower another review when we visit next.

Went back just to check how good this place really is. Since my last review we've been to several Indian ( Bangladeshi ) restaurants & to be honest found none of them wanting, even on vouchers. The service was friendly & cheerful. Quite busy but service was smooth & organized. Kingfisher cold & tasty. Popadums & chutney tray, quickly dispatched. Mixed tandoori & chicken Roshan starters, delicious. Garlic Chilli Chicken, spicy & full of flavour. Chicken Rangela is a dish to savour, full of flavour with a kick that creeps up on you. Keema rice & garlic naan, top quality. Our number 1 for now. Great value for money, most mains £8:95 & Kingfisher £3:50.

We visited early on a Sunday evening. Menu was reasonable without being too large, and the prices were consistent with similar establishments. The building is modern, having completely replaced the pub building that stood there originally. Street parking close by is plentiful.Inside, tables were well dressed and there was plenty of space. A small bar stood in one corner and was not too dominating. All courses were of good quality without standing out particularly and service was at the right pace for a meal. The only down side was some of the music. Western music was mixed with that of the subcontinent, but the choice of the former was of a type that can be very annoying to many, including me. Western music needs to be kept more 'neutral'.

We visited the restaurant around 5:30 on a Wednesday evening using a Groupon Voucher. With 3 tables being served so early, we had a service which was second to none from Waj and his younger assistant. This was our 2nd visit to this modern airy restaurant and we were very impressed with the dishes we ate, clearing our plates completely, a sure sign that you've fully enjoyed your meal. Our starters were stuffed mushrooms and chicken tikka chat, both very much to our liking. The mains we fully consumed were a very much tried and tested chicken tikka massala and a new dish to us, Shahee Murgh, both delicious. One or two Kingfishers and a floater coffee later we fully enjoyed the food, service and ambiance of the Indali Kitchen and will certainly be putting it on our Wednesday visiting list.

Visited here on Saturday night. Well we've never experienced a night like it. Arrived and seated we had a voucher so the menu we were given was written on a couple of bits of paper. Poperdoms arrived a bit later and then the wait started. In the mean time the entertainment began lady went to the toilet returned to inform them no toilet paper, the waitress had to nip to asda to buy some and then kindly held them up in the restaurant to inform the lady they had got them. In the meantime another customer was complaing about her food. My husband was then brought a chicken tikka main, he'd ordered a starter, which was then took away and put on another table, they sent it back. Brought out large plates for our main, we informed him that we had not had our starters yet. Finally after an hour we got our starters, my onion barges bit burnt. My husband asked for another pint which was served in the same glass. Two couples walked out refusing to pay after asking for the bill three times and being ignored. Got our mains to be fair could not fault the food it was very good. Just finishing off our drinks another table leaving after two hour's of waiting and only being served there starters, this caused the staff to start arguing between themselves and we could see this all going on. Also a few of the bill's were wrong including ours. So an entertaining night but not for the right reason. Sorry but we won't be returning.

We gave it the benefit of the doubt tonight and once again the food was excellent but service and standard of the restaurant haven't improved. 630 booking and we received our main course at 815!! Most of the restaurant waited over 2 hours for their food and at one point everyone was saying they were going to walk out. RUBBERY CHICKEN, in my opinion the tandoori chicken pieces had been frozen then re cooked in a microwave and put in to my chefs recomendations Robja dish, some of the pieces were tough and rubbery and impossible to chew so i left it, also the service was poor and the food was cold, lacked flavour, not a sign of vegetables in any of our dishes just sauce and chicken, the nan bread was so heavy and doughy it weighed about 3lbs, i didnt complain because we waited so long for the food and service was so poor it would have made no difference, because we wont be back EVER

Visited the restaurant on a Friday night for a family meal. Despite the place being empty (we were one of two groups in the entire restaurant) the service was terribly slow, we received our starters an hour after ordering and they had even missed out a few orders, which we had to reiterate to them. Despite having a multitude of staff wandering around, our orders were taken by one man for the drinks, starters and the main course (we were a table of 18). The mains arrived Luke warm for everyone and the quality was substandard. We asked for the bill and we were given a barely legible scribbled note, that they hadn't even bothered to add up for us. The only redeeming factor was a young lad who was putting in his first shift, who was actually trying to make the meal somewhat enjoyable.I would definitely not recommend paying a visit to this restaurant, it is both overpriced and poorly managed. Steer clear!

We have had takeaway from here on a few occasions now having exhausted Bolton's Indiana restaurants looking for somewhere nice. I have to say this place has lovely takeaway food, drivers always pleasant and the takeaway bag is NEVER dripping in grease unlike every other takeaway we've tried. We had a birthday in the extended family so thought we'd all go down and try dining in for a change. We booked the table 24 hours in advance. We turned up just before 7 and as ever the rest of the party was running a few minutes late. We ordered run of the mill Diet Coke, J2O and lime and soda water. Imagine our surprise when the waitress appears through the entrance door carrying an Asda bag containing a bottle of Diet Coke and 4 J2Os! (A large Asda supermarket is literally across the car park from this restaurant). Anyhow, the rest of our party duly arrived and drinks ordered. At this stage I think we were the only people in the restaurant. All other tables were empty. Poppadoms and starters were all served, eaten and cleared away and I think there was universal praise for these. By this time two other tables for two had arrived. There now seemed a lengthy delay before our main courses showed up and I don't just mean 10-20 minutes but the best part of 45 mins. To add to our frustrations the two tables for two were both served starters and main courses in this time whilst we were left hanging on. Eventually I asked the waitress how much longer we'd have to wait as we had a baby, and two other young children in the party and by this time it was now 8:30. I was told it was almost ready and that staff wise the restaurant was two chefs and a waitress down that evening. Most in my party were surprised that over an hour after arrival we still hadn't been served our main courses and that having learnt of 2 kitchen staff absentees this wasn't communicated to us at outset or indeed during the evening when some feedback would have been appreciated. When the food finally did arrive it did so piecemeal. Certain members of my party got their main course dishes but not rice for almost 5 minutes after. Naan bread turned up even after this. The food was however lovely. Very tasty and everyone enjoyed their meals. So we certainly couldn't fault the quality of the food. I would have liked to have reviewed the food as 4 possibly even 5 and the service as 2 "poor". But settled on 3 "average". If they can get the service right this will be a 4 or 5 star restaurant easily. The final note I would make is that the bill simply contained "food £xx.xx" and "drink £xx.xx". There was no breakdown and no way for us to ensure we'd only paid for what we had. As a large party of 10 it's not uncommon to find the odd error so it was disappointing not to be able to cast my eye over things. But by this time we were all tired and wanting our beds and the kids were shattered too. (The card machine I used to settle the bill was not compatible with limitless Apple Pay. I'm not sure it was contactless at all).

Had a lovely catch up with an old friend, nice food and reasonably priced. However when my friend went to the toilet he had a strange experience. He later described it as a Tony Hawke experience, the toilet seat disintegrated under him. He almost fell off the toilet. Could be a fantastic restaurant but needs finishing, cables hanging out of walls. The toilets could do with bleaching and some paper hand towels.

If i had read the reviews or listened to people who had gone to the indali before, then i would have steered well clear of this one.The managements past doesnt make good reading, but im all for giving people another go, so i booked this restaraunt for 4 of us online, but nobody returned the call like the webpage said it would. So i called them and booked as they knew nothing of my online booking.(not a good start)This restaraunt is with in an asda carpark surroundings, parking in asda is not recommended as you will get a ticket from a private parking company operating there. There is no on site parking at the indali, so parking on one of the side roads is best.We went on a friday and the place was empty, and stayed empty till we left a few hours later.Wether that is something to do with the company's previous history i dont know. The 2 female waitresses were pleasant and polite, food was very nice.Modern decoy throughout, and wifi is offered.4 starters and 4 mains, with rices and drinks came to £109Pleasant evening, would go again.Expensive compared to where i normally go across the road1 bad point which could have got ugly, when paying for our meal at the end, we were told the card machine was not working , and asda had a cash point if we needed to get money.Surely you should be told at the start of your meal if the card machine was out of order.Could Have got embarrassing if i didn't have the cash.

We were a party of four for casual dining on a Friday night. It wasn't busy. The ambient lighting was poor and very much like a dull office. We weren't greeted properly and I had to hang our own coats up.It took the waiter at least 5 but more like 10 minutes to take a drinks order whilst we waited for the rest of the party. When they arrived we asked to be put onto a table with overhead lighting. When taking the order for the starters, my girlfriend noticed that the waiter stared at her breasts making her feel really uncomfortable - the starters took nearly an hour to arrive but in fairness were delicious. The service was pretty slow and not at all what was expected. The food when it arrived was delicious but the complimentary drinks afterwards were really cheap.Sadly the restaurant is full of good intentions but it never got off the ground probably because of overly young (barely beyond school age) inexperienced staff.

This was the most tasteless Chicken Karahi I can ever remember eating. It was just bland and boring and I gave up trying to eat it. I ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Karahi, Pilau Rice, Peshweri Nan and 4 poppodums. This cost over £22 for a home delivery. This is about £7 more than the normal takeaway. Needless to say this is the first and last time I will bother with this place.

We visited here on a Friday night and 4 of us spent a very leisurely few hours over a three course meal. We arrived at 7.20pm and were surprised to be the only occupied table. Over the next 3 hours there were only 4 other tables occupied. Very very quiet for a Friday night. We ordered a bottle of prosecco with our drinks but two minutes later our waitress came over to advise they had no prosecco but we could have champagne for the same price. The bottle was given to us 2/3rds full as it exploded on opening. To call that champagne was embarrassing. It was cheap rubbish and I couldn't drink it at all. The food ranged from poor to average. The lamb tikka starter was tough and tasteless. I'd honestly have struggled to identify it as lamb if it was a blind taste test. Mains were better but not even close to the standards of other better Indians such as Achari and Spice Valley. Service was good but a little overbearing. We were asked if each course was OK as we were eating it by at least 3 different waiters. Overall this place wasn't good enough for us to consider revisiting and the food explained why it was so quiet. 0

I went with 10 colleagues about 5 30 on a Friday evening, the food was excellent and the service great which it would be as at that time no-one else was in. Due to Weight -Watching I opted for Chicken Shaslik which was brought fresh to the table sizzling. Good sized portions probably bordering on enough for 2 people. The dish was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, succulent.

Visited last Saturday night. Very varied menu better than a normal Indian restaurant. The Indali specials are worth a try. A little more expensive than some nearby restaurants but the quality of the food is excellant. Service was very good with attentive smiling staff. I ordered a takeaway for delivery. Despite the 45 minute promise, this took 2 hours to arrive after 3 reminder phone calls. When it came, there were no onions/chutney etc to accompany the poppadoms, and no rice for the main course. The food was cold.OK, I know it was Valentines Day and it wouldn't have mattered if I had been told "we are busy, it might take up to 2 hours", I could have decided then whether I wanted the order or not. That being said, being busy is no excuse for leaving off items I have paid for, the lack of which ruined the meal. I have always found Indali Kitchen to be excellent - quick, hot and high quality, but today it was no better than a bog standard curry house, just more expensive. Won't be using again!

It all started to go wrong the minute we walked in. They could not find our booking due to fact they had our name down wrong. We were sat down asked about drinks, there was confusion about what wine they had available after ordering and eventually we got the wine we initially requested. It suppose be a set meal but was presented with the normal menu. Having spent sometime selecting we were then told it was a set meal. For £24.95. No set menu to view or printed waiters telling u what was available. Starter 1 poppadom each, then mixed grill, it was ok tasted better, then a curry selected off main menu and a glass of champagne. You could only have rice or a nan with curry not both or pay extra. Over priced, disappointing, staff not knowing what they were doing different advice from staff, food average. Not one to try disappointing others diners thought the same.

A party of 16, we received a pleasant greeting on arrival. However, despite the fairly auspicious start, the evening soon disintegrated into disorganised chaos. When taking food orders, the staff were unable to advise as to which dishes were available as part of the set price 'Bollywood Night' special, and even went so far as to provide different information to different tables of diners (who numbered no more than 50 in total)!! Having been treated with discourteous and ill-informed service, the food, when it arrived, was surprisingly tasty with the notable exception of the one and only 'mild' veggie option available, from which was fished no fewer than 6 whole chillis. The Bollywood dancing comprised of two girls downloading tracks via Youtube and then dancing freestyle in front of the bar; occasionally interspersed with vain attempts to encourage diners to join in.Any attempts to discuss our concerns with the staff were rebutted by :'The Manager, he not here'. The moral of this story is that this restaurant is incapable of hosting the type of event we believed we were attending. Very disappointing.

I'd had a flyer through my door and decided we'd try it. After a trip to Bn Q we arrived. It's on Asda car park and quite a spacious building. There was just us and a largish party. I think that delayed the service. It was about £55 for 2 of us. Poppadoms, sharing meat platter- my favourite, the Onion Barjis were hot and like little patties rather than round. I then had Indali Chingri Aam, King Prawns with mango & chilli ( £13.50) and H had Duck Balti. + a pint and a half each of Kingfisher and we were full. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The loos perfectly adequate; I think next time , in an evening we'd go for the set menu with all the usual stuff with a bottle of Red. The decor isn't overly Asian and there's a small bar area too. Definitely one to try....

Went here for first time today on their Sunday banquet (5 courses) lunch offer 12.30-5.00pm. for £9.99. You could choose anything except king prawn and duck off their normal menu. The food was extremely tasty and served hot. The waiter was very helpful in choosing the food to suit our taste buds as we wanted to try their own dishes but didn't know how spicy they would be. We will definitely be going back and hope that word of mouth helps to fill this new restaurant .

This restaurant has been 'close to opening' for some time and after we got a leaflet through the door stating '20% discount for takeout - collection only' we thought we'd give it a try. It opens at 16.30 Monday to Thursday and 16.00 on Friday so it seems ideal to call on the way home from work. It's situated close to Asda, Astley Bridge so I called in to place my order before doing a little shopping. 20 - 25 minutes was the estimated cook time. The menu has traditional favourites and also a good selection of chef specials and 'Indali's own'. There's a website so you can see yourself. indalikitchen.co.uk. I was back from shopping within 10 minutes so, whilst waiting, had a pint of draught Kingfisher. Nicely served. The food came shortly after, so within the stated 20/25 minutes window. As it was still too early to eat we placed the food (foil trays) in a warm oven for about 1 hour. Okay, the food. I was very pleased. We chose a Robja as this is a regular dish from our usual delivery place, so we could get a direct comparison. The dish was rich and complex with a depth of spice and herbs. Very nice and certainly worth having again. We also had a chicken manchuri. Never had this before and I really liked it. Our third diner isn't a curry fan but loves starters! So, a kebab Bhar was selected. The foil tray was crammed full of succulent meat - chicken tikka, lamb, sheek kebab and onion bhaji. Very nice indeed. The accompaniments could have been a little better. Main dishes come with rice or chips included in the price. This may not suit everyone as I know many people that would just have a curry with a naan or chapatti or two. However, I didn't ask if they would swap so if this is your thing then please do ask. The salad with the Bhar was okay. Fresh and cool but it could have had a little more. We had a mushroom pilau and an onion pilau and the rice was a little over cooked for my liking. It was okay, but definitely an area where it could be better. So, would I go again? Yes. At this time it's definitely worth another go for a take-away. The curries and Bhar were good enough for me to want to try some of the other specialities. Would I eat in? Not sure! We don't normally eat in at Indian restaurants. The restaurant area didn't really grab me enough to consider changing that stance so please do check other reviews where people have dined in. There is a lot of competition in the area with established dine-in Indian restaurants and also another excellent take-out place that also delivers so Indali will have to stay on top of it's game at all times if it is to attract and retain business. For now, I'm definitely in the camp that wants to give it another go.

I have visited this restaurant a few times now since it opened and I am always happy with my visit. The food is always very good and the staff are warm and welcoming. I would say the prices are average and the bill is always accurate. Unfortunately the only down side to this restaurant is that it is quite a blank canvas which sadly manifests in the atmosphere, I think it would benefit from a bit more colour on the walls. Maybe some nice authentic paintings might help to brighten up the plain white walls. That said I always enjoy meals here as the food is so enjoyable, and I am never disappointed. They also provide takeaway which is always to the same high standard as the food served in the restaurant. I would love to see this restaurant a bit busier and I really hope more people will give this place a try because I'm certain they will return as the food is that good.

Visited as a family of four on a Friday evening. Immediately thought the 'ambience' was poor - bare walls, over-bright lighting, messy furniture layout but this wouldn't have been a great issue if the place was low cost and/or had great food. Unfortunately, the food was poor to average (the king prawn butterfly starter was actually inedible) and we thought it was very expensive. The staff were initially not very friendly or welcoming but they did warm a little throughout our visit. One bonus - the draught Cobra was very cold and very good.Overall, we couldn't recommend and we won't visit again, not when there are other alternative Indian restaurants within a couple of miles which have better food at a lower cost in a nicer environment. Sorry.

We visited Indali because it was local and a new restaurant. It was ok but we found it lacked atmosphere and thought the staff could have been more inviting. They were all pleasant but but in other restaurants we have found they really try to get to know you and it feels that more personal. The starter was nice and the drinks were reasonably priced. I personally found my main course (chicken bhuna) very salty. The flavour was there but way too much salt added. Overall I don't think we would dine in again but would save as a good takeaway.

In an area sadly not well known for the range and quality of dining, this new recently opened restaurant is a really welcome addition to Bolton cuisine. We went for the first time last night after hearing good reports of the food and service. A new building, the Indali Kitchen is a modern and airy split level, with tasteful décor. Even as veteran currry lovers. we were very pleasantly surprised by the excellent standard of dishes on offer. We sampled several items from the very varied and well priced menu. Everything was freshly and expertly prepared with good ingredients and authentically spiced to suit individual tastes. Knowledgeable staff are able to explain the details of dishes and suggest alternatives and options. A good selection of beers, wine and other drinks is also on offer. The Indian lager is especially well kept, just the right temperature and liveliness. Coupled with friendly and efficient service, this new restaurant feels like it'll have people queuing out the doors soon.Linda

From a recommendation online, we ordered and was pleasantly surprised. First of all the staff on phone was very helpfull recommending dishes from my liking, secondly after opening the bag of food from a 15 min journey it was still hot but more Impressive it wasn't swimming with oil!! The meat in the curries , large well cooked pieces ...and the sauce full of flavour,,, absolutely delicious!! Nann fresh and soft. Unfortunately a downside from the two that ordered the meat samosas that they were 'mushy' yet tasty ....I will look forward to ordering again. Thanks guys
