Fantastic place, very nice service, delicious food, I highly recommend it

We went here twice towards the end of June since we were staying two doors away the food was good on both occasions we also went there twice early September even though we were staying down by Fistral Beach and we found the food just has good if not better and when we return next year it’ll be the first place we go.

Server couldn’t speak English which meant our order was as wrong. Starters arrived before the drinks. Mains came wrong so 3 of us had eaten by the time the 4th meal arrived. The food was good for 3 of us but one meal was poor. We won’t be back

Terrible service, I waited 45 minutes for drinks and some bread. I had to leave because we didn't get any food and my son was super hungry. Same happened to other people and they left too. I would never ever come back to that place.

Visited for our evening meal and wasn't that impressed. The coke was too carbonated and definitely not mixed with the syrup properly. The staff said it was ok but we asked for fresh drinks with no ice this time. They basically took our drinks and took out the ice and gave the drinks back. We asked for a change of one of the drinks to bottled Fanta. The food was ok, wasn't great. Calamari was chewy, the carbonara wasn't very tasty. The steak was nice and the peppercorn sauce was tasty but came in a massive bowl, huge portion. Warm bread with olive oil and balsamic was nice but nothing much can go wrong with that really. Probably wouldn't visit again 😕

All food orders where wrong no apology from staff wrong drinks orders when we informed the staff no apologies where made just avoided the table then tried to charge for all the mistakes even tho they where sent back and 0 out of 10 would not recommend to anyone if there was a negative star rating it would surely get it

On holiday in Newquay and picked this restaurant as the menu looked nice, service was poor. No smiles from our server, starters arrived Luke warm, no table check back, no bread with muscles or prawn starter. Table sat down after is and next to us, they ordered received their food then ordered again ate and ordered a 3rd plate and ate that and we still hadn't received mains! Had my nephew with me who was starving! Asked repetitively for our mains and the server was rude about ot saying its because we ordered bread that we were still waiting!! Really poor service! And such a shame as Newquay is beautiful!

We arrived by chance and we loved the place. Good Italian food at reasonable prices. The views from your balcony are impressive.

Beautiful restaurant, amazing view. Service was brilliant, helped us from the beginning to the end. Food was fantastic and arrived as quick as you would expect. Would recommend it. I definetly look forward to coming again.

visiting this city, I stopped here, with the intention of eating some fish cooked in a typical way of this area, I had the pleasure of finding a very Italian setting, where I had the pleasure of tasting a really good sauté of mussels, a not bad baked fish even if unfortunately, the baking is not suitable for the calamari rings, which were actually very chewy, but overall I had a good time, also with the very kind, smiling and helpful staff, In the service offered there was also a detail that is not normal to find even in the best restaurants, having to eat the mussels with my hands, they were kind enough to bring me a bowl of hot water to wash my fingers; the place is really nice, with a stunning view of one of the inlets of the place where you can see the wonder of the ocean. By far the pizza I’ve ever had literally took 2 bites and forgot what dominos was great workers too

The only thing nice about this place was the view. The food is awful served us food that was not cooked properly sent it back to be cooked properly gave us back with more then half of it missing probably chef wasn’t happy with the food being sent back hence rest of the food not being sent back. Avoid at all cost.

Amazing food and very friendly staff!

The most awful service I’ve ever received in a restaurant. We arrived here around 8.30 to watch the sunset (which to be fair is a lovely view) We ordered a round of drinks and food. The table that we sat at had pasta sauce on it so we asked for the table to be cleaned and chased it up a further 3 times, and they never came to clean it. They brought the cutlery out to us so they knew we had ordered food. The drinks came and we were waiting on our food which never arrived. We asked two waitresses to check where our order was, which they said they would check but never came back to us. By 10pm we still had no food. I went to ask for a manager to see where the food was. They pointed me towards the kitchen and I spoke to a chef who said that he didn’t have our order. Nobody came to take any more drink orders from us either the whole time we were sat there. The food smelt lovely so we were looking forward to eating here then going out for drinks afterwards, but after waiting for over an hour without receiving our food, we were left very disappointed. When I said that I was leaving, there was no apology, the waitress just said ‘that’s fine, just drink your drinks and go’. I would not recommend here due to the rude staff and lack of competent service.

Amazing food, the garlic bread was so soft and tasty, the pasta was also great, pizzas looked insane. The view though, we could have been abroad it was so beautiful, would love to return.

Linguine Granchio should have been crab chilli tomato, came out cream a couple of toms, questioned if right told “crab is shredded”! Avoid expensive fraudulent and trades under 3 “ businesses”

Went there for dinner food wasn’t good chicken pasta was dry and tomato pasta with meatballs has mozzarella which has smelled like old cheese. Service was slow and waiters were not kind and weren’t interested in our comfort. It doesn’t worth to go there for dinner you are paying for stunning view. I’d recommend to go there for a drink take nice pictures and get food somewhere else

I came here for my partners Birthday meal over the weekend, We thought it looked nice on the outside so decided to give a try. We were very disappointed, they took ages to order our drinks, then took our order and messed it up. I ordered a pizza and a side of chips, and oils and bread and my partner had a seafood pasta. When it turned up they had put my side of chips all over my pizza, at first I thought it was a joke.. I struggled talking to any members of staff as nobody really understood English. I asked to send it back but didn't really understand my complaint, eventually they heard me out and I had to wait a long time for my food to be remade. Meantime watching my partner eat his he said his scallops were gritty and chewy and not enjoyable at all. I made a formal complaint at the end and politely asked for a discount on the food as it wasn't a pleasant experience, or even our drinks knocked off the bill. We were declined and told we has to pay the full bill, as we came in 'late' at 9pm we walked in, as the kitchen closed at 10pm..but we had to wait a long time for our food. I've been to many restaurants all around the world and if you're not happy with your food, they have offered free dinner on the house, free drinks or free desserts. But the service we received for my partners birthday was absolutely disgusting. We didn't enjoy our dinner what so ever, disgusting customer service, mediocre food, overly priced cocktails and an awful atmosphere. I highly recommend to not bother wasting your time and money here.

Going here was supposed to be for just happy hour which was from 3pm to 6pm but we ended up having dinner also! It's a little pricey restaurant but it was worth it. I can't remember the name of the drinks we had tbh but for the food I had arrabiata and my husband had Bolognese both with chicken piecese.and it was a really tasty meal. We also ordered garlic bread and whew it was great. The garlic butter had melted in the bread so soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The lady who served us was polite and others working there were nice too. The restaurant had a nice ambience and it was neat. Def a 5 star! We spent £63

Pretty amazing place. Service is GREAT and the food just tops outs over any Italian food you will ever eat not just in Newquay but I would argue Nationwide. I opted for the salmon tagliatelle main, a dish that’s simple and I know what I’m getting flavour wise. The food came within 15 mins as we took the time to enjoy a drink over their newly refurbished balcony overlooking the sea. The flavours of the dish are immense! I could taste things in there that I had never tasted before in my life, this was no orderly tagliatelle! For sides we had some garlic mushrooms which blew the lid! The best accompaniment of flavours. The waitress was really well spoken, always came with a smile and knowledge of the menu. Couldn’t recommend this place enough for lunch or dinner. And how could I forgot! THE COCKTAILS. Very professionally conjured, taste buds tingling. A well rounded lunch! Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou

Ordered a vegan pizza; olives, mushrooms and pineapple. Instead of pineapple they had put pepperoni on it; therefore making a £15 pizza completely worthless.

The food was not very good. The pork pizza was quite disappointing. A member of Staff was smelling of B.O. that was completely off-putting.

We paid. We got no food. Please save yourselves time and money. Nobody answering the phone. No feedback. Truly abysmal

My mate ordered the kids margarita and I ordered the adult size and let me jusy say I'd rather have the kids as it kinda looked like it was made from the same amount of dough but a smaller size and price. The crusts were full and the base was thick. On the other side the adult one was more of a roman type crust thinn type of pizza. It was lovely and yummy we also had the cheese balls which we're fantastic all and all a lovely time with a sea view. Came twice!

Chose this place for it's view over the beach. Was as expected, and the food was nice too. We got the grilled sea bass and the pizza piccante which was surprisingly spicy. Staff very nice.

Got 2 burnt pizzas practically thrown at us with no cuttlery or side plates or napkins , and then was given a thimble full of wine that was supposed to be a large glass, and when I complained I got a look that just didn’t care, wont be going here again . Very very poor

Beautiful view! It was the best pizza in the UK like no comments. The staff is a bit weird but lovely and very helpful, also the restaurant view is amazing. Big tip, they have a second floor plus the facilities are in tip top shape…plus fresh mint by the balcony…🪴🪴🪴 well done and keep it up 👏

Don't think it's 100% Italian but food was great. My son loved the milkshakes think he tried them all. Also service was brilliant. Only problem is they don't have a baby change facility. View is Amazing

The pizza is basically toast, the crispiest thing I’ve ever seen. I could cut granite with the thing. And then the staff quoted “that’s how it’s done in Italy’ It isn’t!

Waited over an hour for pizza and they weren't busy. Staff polite but not over friendly. Pizza's were burnt on edges and not alot of topping. Shame really cos it looked lovely with upstairs balcony.

Friendly and extremely good/nice customer service, I ordered a mojito cocktail which was very nice, a little wait for the food whilst it was being made but overall it was good quality food, I would recommend this place to anyone who likes Pizza as this was the only food I ordered and/or ate and as such cannot comment on the other food that they had on the menu, the Mojito also had good balance between lime and rum ortho I couldn’t much taste the minty aspect of the drink. Overall I’ve had a very good experience.

I've tried a few pizzas here and I have to say I'm in love with their dough. . . Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, good quality ingredients and a decent price. Tiramisu and milkshake were delicious. Service is nice, hard working, although they could smile a little more?😉 Overall, recommend place for pizza lovers, I will definitely come back there.

Terrible place, waited an hour for food. Told it wasn’t put in the computer. Still had to pay for drinks. You’d think they’d at least apologise for such appalling service, 4 other couples left because of this reason. Ridiculous

Absolutely terrible service, doesn’t seem to be any communication between waiting staff and the kitchen. Ordered 2 cocktails that tasted as if there was no alcohol in them, they re did them and it was obvious there was no alcohol in the first cocktails (after charging us for alcoholic versions!!!). We saw waiters taking drinks to wrong tables at least 5 times, and when the main courses arrived one was missing. Everyone had already eaten and I was still waiting for my pizza, which the waiter insisted was never ordered. Food was very average for the price you pay, would not recommend to anyone, terrible service, average food, overpriced, not worth the price you pay for the “million dollar view”.

Absolutely abysmal customer service, I am stunned. As soon as we came in we were not greeted, menus were dumped on the table after finding our own table and they eventually came back to take our order for drinks. We ordered several drinks including 2 mocktails. The waitress came over and informed us they could not make the cocktails with no explanation, and then walked away before we could order replacement drinks. We ordered a different drink, and they then informed us they were able to make the original drink! We ordered two alcoholic cocktails also that they brought out which evidently did not contain alcohol (which we were charged for) and then complained so they made us the correct drink. There were no apologies or manners throughout. We ordered our food which was average, and it arrived after a while to which we found out one of the meals we ordered was never passed to the chef so we had to wait an extra 15 minutes for the last meal. We also heard people behind us complaining they had not had their food for 45 minutes, to find out their order had not been passed to the chef either. The only positive about this place is the view so you may aswell take a meal deal to the beach from the asda nearby. Would not recommend to anyone and will not be returning, overpriced to the max.

The food was good. Unfortunately it took ages to arrive due to the amount of people there was enormous (Boardmasters festival). Unfortunately due to the quantity of people, some not so savoury, the atmosphere wasn't great. If I was back in Newquay I would visit again if it was quieter.

I can't believe they thought it was acceptable to serve me charred inedible ribs and not even offer a refund. I didn't want to make a scene since my younger siblings seemed to be enjoying their food at least. And if you allow pets at least designate a separate seating area for them ; a family came in after us with their dog who kept walking into my sister's legs and we were sat indoors mind you... Whoever runs this place, sort your chefs out cause that was the worst food I've ever been served in my whole life . Ruined my day...

Glad we came here. Initial plan was to go to pizza express - but we decided to give this little local place a chance and we left extremely satisfied. Good pizza, cocktails and great service. Recommended.

Visited here today after a rainy walk on the beach with my wife and two children. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and nice.

Service was really friendly and fast, and food was delicious! We ordered pizzas and pasta and really enjoyed everything. The staff were great too. The view to the sea is lovely. Would definitely recommend!

For future travellers (we were a group of 5) Pros 1. View is great Cons are as follows 1. Took 10 mins to wait our table 2.Drinks took 15 mins to come 3. I would describe all cocktails as homemade level (even a push) and not worth a tenner each 3. Food took 45 mins to come 4. Our waiters English was tenuous and obviously had no waiting experience (didn't even ask how I wanted my steak and we had to double check the order which was inevitably wrong) 5. The price compared to quality is terrible - the steak for 25 quid - I had 4 leaves (apparently a salad and about 15 small chips) the plate looked barren. The level of food was comparable to a weatherspoons and we all felt ripped off with our meals and drinks. 6. Service in general was terrible (you can tell they're nice people but just don't have a clue on how to serve, which you expect when you're paying 30 quid a head).

We are local and thought we would try this place. Ordered a bottle wine and 2 starters, after 45 mins the food did not arrive. We went an asked on 2 occasions and told it would be 1 min, it never arrived. We paid for the wine and asked to speak to a manager, told no one here. We then had abuse shouted by an Asian chap across the counter, another person eating there came to see We were OK as it was quite intimidating. We left after 1hr 30.mins with no food, it was a calamari and whitebait that we ordered, I've never been spoken to like this especially from a restaurant in my home town.

Lovely place with a million dollars view. Typical Italian pizza and nice tiramisu but it wasn't a real tiramisu, there was a cream instead of mascarpone.

Second visit of the holiday. The views upstairs on the terrace are just stunning. The staff are very attentive and came straight out with a fresh bowl of water for our two dogs. We all enjoyed our pizzas and were looked after from the moment we entered until thr moment we left. I throughly recommend.

Better pizza than Pizza express. Fresh dough that actually has flavour. Only list star as service was a little bit slow and not attentive. But for the view and food quality, this is still a great place to eat.

Food was good 👍🏽 With a small outdoor area with a view of a bay. Only the interior area is a bit cafeteria style.

The service and food was absolutely horrible. The experience here was not worth a penny. We went thinking the view and food would be good however we were deeply mistaken. I ordered a crab pasta only for it to be tinned or frozen crab ,Flavourless. The pizza we ordered was soggy. The order took over an hour to come and they were not that busy at that time. They only had 5 tables. And they had been served already. I give three stars for atmosphere as the view sitting outside was nice. But the rest I wouldn't even give one star. They need to improve massively or need to give the business to someone who cares. @response. We did mention it to the staff but only was given a shrug and he then walked away. The female staff then arrived and told us that here's your food and walked off. The restaurant was quite as we originally sat downstairs and then moved upstairs. I had a two year old with me and was not told that people are permitted to smoke on the terraces. It was too late to move by then as the food arrived. I am not a person to give a negative review to a business without giving it a chance which I did and still was disappointed. Also I requested for my daughter food to arrive first which the lady told me that's fine only for it to be wrong and then my daughter had to wait another 30mins and was the last one to receive her food. Looking at your past reviews it shows the incompetent of the staff and your responses. Clearly you do not like the hard facts and are not willing to take responsibility of the mistakes. If your staff chooses not to tell you of our issues then that is down to you and the way you train your staff. Thank you.

The food here is very good and reminds me of authentic Italian cuisine. That's great on its own, but not to mention the amazing view from behind. Perfect for a night out with friends.

Unfortunately the chicken pasta dish had a lot of small sharp bones in which just puts you off eating the rest of the dish also fairly lacking in taste but good service & fair prices.

This is a lovely hidden gem, much larger than we imagined set over two floors with the most stunning views across Newquay. A fantastic selection of drinks and great food. Good for families or just for couples. We selected a few starters which were just like small plates/tapas but the menu is quite extensive. The staff are really friendly and attentive which makes for a great experience.

The food here is absolutely amazing and reminds me of authentic Italian cuisine. This is great alone, not to mention to stunning views out the back. Perfect for nights out with friends.

We had a lovely lunch on the upper terrace overlooking the beach. The service was good and the food was lovely. Large portions and ice cold cider. We were very happy and my parents and been back since.

Beautiful food with great options for vegetarians. The bruschetta is awesome. The staff were lovely and very attentive. Special shoutout to Suzana for taking good care of us. Highly recommend and hopefully will return soon. All the best.

Really good food and very attentive, lovely staff. There are big windows that make the most of view out the back (which is incredible). I think you can see the view from most of the tables too (inside and out). Catches the sunset over Newquay perfectly 🙌🏻

If I could give 100 stars, I would! We stumbled across this place after we had been turned away rudely from lots of other places. And thank god we found this place! Firstly, the service is second to non. All staff are absolutely outstanding and welcoming. Myself and my partner travel a lot and also live in london. So we tend to eat out a lot. This is literally the best Italian we have eaten at. The food was beyond amazing. And the drinks blew it out of the water. Tequila sunrise was better than when I've had it in a five star hotel in Mexico! The passion fruit martini was beautiful. The setting was absolutely lovely for us as we had children with us. We was able to sit at a table which made us feel comfortable. The staff waited on us hand and foot. Couldn't have asked for better service. Offered a high chair immediately. We had a lovely waitress helping us clean the table between courses without us having to even ask. The view, is breathtaking from this restaurants location. The chefs are in and out of the kitchen a lot and you can see they are hands on deck all the time making sure everyone gets great food on time. They even made us a special dish which wasn't on the menu with no problems at all! My son ordered two dishes as he loved the food so much. And he is usually so picky due to having additional needs. What a lovely meal. We were conscious of some of the bad reviews before we came here but decided to come anyway and were glad we did. The pizzas were so tasty and topped with fresh ingredients, and the pasta, fries and other side dishes were substantial and tasted great. The staff were friendly and polite, and the drinks were good. I only didn't give five stars because I couldn't get through on the phone to book a table beforehand as it went straight to answerphone, so had to drive down and take our chances. 2 adults & 3 children.

What a lovely little restaurant! It was happy hour when we visited-it was 2 pizzas for the price of one, which was amazing value! As it was Easter they made my son's pizza into an Easter bunny! He absolutely loved this!! Our pizzas were tasty and the staff were friendly.

I don't often leave a one star review, working in hospitality myself I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. I understand mistakes happen and we can all have an off day - but last nights experience was unacceptable! Waiter was pleasant, we ordered drinks shortly after we arrived which came promptly, then ordered food!! 2 large tables then arrived who both seemed to be having their orders delivered within the hour that we were still waiting for ours. We were then given one *gluten free pasta dish and one bowl of fries and nothing else!!! Another 10 minutes and still no food, but other tables were still receiving their food during this time. At this time a huge sliding door fell off it's rails with the corner hitting me on the head and my son on the back, (luckily he was so hungry his head was in his hands, otherwise it could have been fatal). The young teenage waiter picked up the door and attempted to put it back! Many of the other guests asked if I was ok and were incredibly concerned. Not ONE of the staff members even approached or offered an apology or assistance in anyway! When my husband asked to speak to the manager, he was told there isn't one and that "how were they to know that a door would fall off"! The attitude of the lady that seemed to be in charge was utterly abhorrent, she refused to take ownership and still wanted us to pay for our drinks! Suffice to say, we left hungry, upset and incredibly let down by a restaurant that certainly didn't put the health and safety needs of its customers first. Go by all means, but: a)don't be in rush b)don't be hungry c)don't sit by the back door d)don't expect the correct/legal Health and Safety protocols to be followed !

Waited over a hour for our food for a table of 4 while a table of 10 got served before us and another table that arrived half a hour also got their food before we did. After one of our dishes arrived and a side meal of chips, the food was still not out due to a "miscommunication in the kitchen" around 10 minutes later a sliding door then fell an hit a lady on the other end of the restaurants head.

We arrived with our children and got a table for food. We ordered drinks, after chasing and trying several times to order, for an hour, we were told that kitchen was now closed (just before 8:00 pm). The waiter did apologise but didn't know why the kitchen was closed and said the manager would not come down from the kitchen. I pointed out that we would now not be able to eat get a table anywhere else on a Saturday night. The manager finally came down after we insisted and she demanded that we pay for the drinks as we ordered them. There were only two other tables in the restaurant. If you want to eat and what decent service avoid.

Absolutely disappointing. After waiting 40 minutes for our drink (also ordered food, but appreciated that takes longer time) we did not get our drinks, so decided to go somewhere else. On our way out the manager came with the drinks and as we said, thanks but couldn't wait longer, she just told us to f* off!!! And started to drink our drinks. When asked if she just said that, went yes, and proudly said that she is the manager!! Very rude lady and bad service, I would avoid it!

Great views out the back, good selection of cocktails and the rib eye steak and lamb dishes were delicious. Also very friendly staff. The food here is cooked by an Italian chef and proper Italian food

Stunning sunset views available at this location, but the bar service was quite poor (cocktails underwhelming, limited beers available). Attended a Latin dancing lesson upstairs which was really good, if the bar service was better it would be a great venue.

Dissapointing. Went in and the service was dreadful. Only table in the place and still managed to get the order wrong. Waiter just didn't have a clue what he was doing. Incredibly loud music, to the point you couldn't hear a person across the table. Strangely no dessert menu either. Food tasted fine, but portion was small for the price. A real shame as they have a nice venue with cracking views of the beach and sea. Get the staff and service up to speed and you'd be in a good position.
