My first time also the last time. Pricing is low but quality was below average. Maybe the most overrated Korean restaurant in this town. We came here because the high ratings but very disappointed.

Food was so delicious and came out so quickly! The waiter and waitress are very kind and polite and assisted with my allergies making sure the food I ordered was safe to eat. It's just the atmosphere was quite cramped and small. But we were fine. They work hard and deserve to renovate and make a bigger seating area!

Best Korean I've had in London.

The food was OKAY and some dishes were quite salty for our taste. Portions were decent/generous compared to other Central London Korean restaurants. However, the service was frustratingly slow. My friends were halfway through their meal before mine even arrived … there were no proper updates or apologies. The restaurant itself is quite small, and lack of proper ventilation - not ideal if you have plans afterward. Overall, nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. If you're craving Korean food in the area, it'll do in a pinch..

Went Tuesday for lunch. It was a very good experience to taste the Korean food. The food is very delicious. I was amazed by the service. It was very nice. I got to know about the Korean food and food was of good quality and quantity as well. It was great to meet Mr Ganesh who served us. Will definitely visit again. Recommended dishes are Bossam, Galbi Tang and LA Galbi.

We got seated pretty quickly, but had to share a table with two other people. Then we ended up waiting way longer than usual for our food (we've been regulars for the past three years). After a while, I noticed one of the staff moved three other customers from a small table to a bigger one, completely ignoring the fact that some of us had been waiting for over an hour for a bigger table. That’s when I think they realized they messed up. The staff tried to make us switch tables twice. The first time was right after our food was served, and the second time was while we were eating. Both times were super annoying and totally killed the vibe. On top of that, the food was way too salty and didn’t taste as good as it used to. Overall, both the food and the service have gone downhill. I also want to specifically mention that the short-haired, brown-skinned male staff member didn’t maintain proper distance from the female customers, which felt pretty suspicious. Since we didn’t have a great experience, we politely asked if they could remove the service charge. Instead, they told us that service charges are now mandatory because of a new law. But then they also said if we paid in cash, we could skip the charge, which sounded pretty shady, seems like try to do something on tax matter.

wores service in London, ranking number 1 Service fee was explained as mandatory fee by staff, lolll it was not mentioned by UK law. So rude staff asked us move table to table during the very short eating period, interesting. You should get your staff trained properly. This store's service ranks last in London, it's rubbish, a very bad experience, it took half an hour from ordering to serving, during which the waiter also asked us to change tables to smaller ones next to them several times to facilitate them to accommodate more guests, based on these rude behaviors, we asked to waive the service fee when checking out, but were told that the service fee is a legal requirement and must be paid, but it can be waived if you pay in cash, this seemingly generous behavior is hard not to say that it is related to something about the store's tax payment.

This is a good restaurant to start to enjoy Korean cuisine. Good service and friendly team of staff. Busy all the time .

This place is a must try in New Malden. It is a legit korean bbq. Kimchi pancake was so yummy, servings were great especially the meat. Kimchi was good and not too spicy.

Service was very good, and the food came out at a good pace. The sides are tasty, and the portion sizes are quite decent. The food lacked flavour and spice as a whole, and the sticky rice is too stodgy for the meal.

This is for the poor take away … £11 Japche with very little beef, when I transferred into my 750ml glass container, not even half. Very welcoming and friendly service, the waiter was only too happy to take us through the menu and recommend his favourite dishes. The food was fairly average and unfortunately quite greasy, the toilets were also strangely located outside of the restaurant and down an alleyway.

Small but authentic. More seating in the back. The seafood pancake is really good.

The jap chae glass noodles and the beef bulgogi in the sizzling plate were very delicious!! Because it was packed on a weekend, we had to go to the extension room, I just wish it wasn't that cold as it was freezing on that day.

Especially, since it is small and there are not many tables, I sincerely apologize to the customers who have to wait outside. . Therefore, since there are not many tables, the staff is trying hard to set up and seat the customers as soon as they finish cleaning up a table.. By the way, I have short hair and have never learned English, so sometimes my English pronunciation is not perfect and it may sound harsh to the customers, but please understand.. I never treated the customers who visited the restaurant rudely because I was mean.. I am sorry if there was a misunderstanding.. I am sorry that I do not speak English well and could not make them understand. Also, since there are many customers, including Hong Kong customers and Chinese customers, sometimes I recommend the menu in Chinese to help the customers who do not know what to eat.. Food is too salty. Feel very thirsty after the meal. Also a female staff spoke to us in Cantonese when we made the order. Just because we look Chinese she assumes we are from HK? So disrespectful

Delicious food and decent prices. The blond lady at the door was RUDE when asked how long the wait would be, but was much nicer when giving us the bill. Would definitely go back- hopefully on a day she isn’t at work!

A friend recommended this Korean restaurant and I finally had time to try it. It was really good. The food tastes very good and although it's ordinary Korean food, it's great value for money. Worth trying again.

Kimchi stew: It's not authentic Korean kimchi stew, but it's still edible. But I don't think I would eat it again. Taste: Not recommended if you are looking for a spicy soup. It's sweet, perhaps because there are a lot of onions or because the kimchi itself is sweet. It smells fishy, ​​probably because of the meat. It's not like killing a pig. Brilliant, authentic Korean food with generous portions. My sister and I had the seafood pajeon, which was the highlight of the meal, crispy and tender, with a delicious flavour. We also had the kkanpungi chicken, which was spicy and very tasty, a tender beef bulgogi and a delicious Kimchi fried rice, with a perfectly fried egg. The whole bill including alcohol was only £70 and we had food to takeaway, wouldhighlu recommend.

Taken to a room behind the actual restaurant and it was so quiet. The food is excellent.

Although the front may look busy and packed don’t worry there is an even bigger seating area at the back, clean, authentic and cosy. The food portion is great and fits the price. Sea food pancake was massive and the hot stone bibimbap was actually hot making everything crispy on the bottom. The flavours are authentic too and the service is great. One of the few remaining UK K-Town authentic flavour korean restaurants around.

We had a super evening at Imone. Initially surprised that our table wasn’t in the restaurant on the street, and had to duck down the alleyway alongside at the side of the restaurant however this turned out to be really good and made it an even more authentic experience. The service was good and the food was excellent, we enjoyed it all and the Cass beers too. We’ll definitely come back for more soon!

Delicious food at decent prices, banchan comes included (as it should be but lots of other restaurants in London charge for them), but at least on the weekends this is definitely a place where you get in, eat fast, get out. One feels quite rushed to order everything right away rather than being able to relax and enjoy a meal with friends. It would be nice if they expand their space in the future to have a more relaxing dinner experience.

I’ve been here so many times since I moved into New Malden and have tried almost everything on the menu and not one item has been disappointing. My favourite is definitely the saengsomjjim and pajeon. *chefs kiss* best combo. The bossam is also highly recommended. The oyster kimchi with the pork wrapped together… I could eat this all day. Service is amazing. The staff are all attentive and friendly and the owner (with the black hair) is super lovely. My favourite Korean restaurant in New Malden ❤️

I have been to this amazing korean restaurant more times than I can count, my absolute favourite on the new malden high street! lunch menu during the week is an absolute bargain and I adore the stews and the bibimbap! the owner is also so sweet and the banchan goes perfectly with the dishes, 10/10 would recommend!

Consistently yummy every single time. My favourite is no:22 the spicy prawns, so juicy. Wasn’t too keen on the deep fried spicy chicken. But looking forward to my next visit!

This is the best Korean restaurant in London. It's only small, so make sure you book or get there early. The food is incredible and the Kimchi Pancake and the beef bulgogi are great dishes that we always order.

Not good anymore. My experience at Imone this time was shockingly disappointing. A lady with a short haircut was incredibly rude and acted as if we had inconvenienced her greatly. It felt as though we owed her thousands of pounds just for showing up. I really want to tell this lady that we are customers, not beggers. Also There's so many Korean restaurants, which are much better than yours. I will definitely not go back to IMONE!

One of the best Korean food spot in London. We've been to quite a few over the years but the food here was up there with the best. We had the Ssaengsun Jjim Set which included Ssaeungsun Jjim (steamed fish in spicy sauce) + Pa Jeon (spring onion pancake) + Mild soybean Soup + Rice for 2 which was one of the highlights of the meal. The steamed fish was just awesome. We also enjoyed the pancake and had some LA style Galbi which was just amazing. The staff were super attentive and would definitely recommend this spot when you're in New Malden. If you fancy some Korean BBQ, the same brand have just opened one next door.

We are going to Korea for a trip and dropped in at this restaurant to get an early experience of a real Korean meal. The restaurant was comfortable and had a nice mix of diners. We had a set lunch which was good and service was also really good. Definitely recommended

👍<Steamed Fish> - Spicy seasoning in exquisite harmony with fresh pollack + bean sprouts + crown crown = I was able to enjoy the flavor of the steamed fish itself even more. Steamed fish set menu only available during lunch hours on weekdays <crispy grilled green onion pancakes and savory 👍-<soybean paste stew> and 👍-<side dishes> -<kimchi, stewed potatoes, bean sprouts> were all delicious.

Authentic Korean food destination

I tried this spot after recommendation from my partner that it had good recommendation. First glance, it was busy compare to many other Korean restaurants. Also first experience, of walking back into a alleyway which lead us to like a make shift temporary building (also shared with a Church club or something) Anyways aside about that, the food, the korean chicken wings were cripsy nice glaze on top of the skin, flavourful so can't go wrong. Sweet n sour pork also can't go wrong but it was more on the sour side which tends to the case. Cold style Bibimbap perfect for the one day of hot weather in the UK. The beef soup wasn't really packing any home warming flavours, was just spicy and lacking.. based on others must try (which we didn't get). Seafood Pancake and the Ginseng Chicken. Staff were friendly. Price about £55 for two, can't remember if there was service charge or not I'd say its standard nowadays but i was pretty well fed/full afterwards. NO AMEX.

This little Korean place did not disappoint. It was recommended to me by a Korean housemate. Dishes ran about 13.50 for a main meal. The waitress was knowledgeable and had good recommendations. I had the beef bulgogi with rice. My friend had the Don Katsu which she said was amazing. It was enough to fill you, was presented nicely and reasonably priced. I’d recommend this place. It’s tiny and no toilet however.

The food is delicious and so much better than any other Korean food we have tried before. We got lucky to have the mum taking our order and kindly recommending us what to order. Her recommendations were on point. The kimchi pancake and the spicy marinated pork bulgogi have to be some of the best food we had in a while. The service was excellent and you really feel that you’re in a family run business. So rare in London nowadays. Will come back.

Delicious Korean soul food, and the service is beyond excellent.

THE most authentic Korean restaurant I've been to in London and the UK. Free banchan and purple rice served with my soondubu stew, which came bubbling, spicy and flavourful. All for £12 including service charge. If I lived in this area they would get half of my paycheck! Would love to try the maeuntang next time as they didn't have this today.

We enjoyed a casual dinner for two at Imone. The food was quick and flavoursome with little additions like fresh kimchi and bean sprouts. We ordered a kimchi pancake, beef bulgogi and seafood jigae, all bursting with flavour. A note to the kind waiter who chased after us when I left my water bottle behind. 🤗

After hearing the rumor, I visited my aunt's restaurant yesterday. Well... it's absurd and I don't know why there are cases like this. I don't understand... I placed my order for the table next to me. After a while, I placed my order and the table next to me took their order. Why are we saying we can't do this? Of course, when the ingredients run out, I may not be able to receive your order, so I understand. But 15 minutes later, another hand felt the same way. What is the reason for ordering from a menu and having food come out? Even if you don't have any ingredients, you can prepare them in just 10 minutes. This is something no one can understand. And what kind of war is being fought in the kitchen? I heard everything breaking and felt anxious. I couldn't eat. There were customers and they even started swearing. This is my first time experiencing a restaurant like this. They do things like this in front of customers... I get the feeling that the boss doesn't care how his employees are treated... I think the boss needs to change his mindset. There is a saying about losing a cow and fixing the barn. If you regret losing all your precious employees and customers, I thought it was already too late. Let me say one more thing. People go to my aunt’s restaurant because the food is delicious. No, the staff is more helpful to customers than other restaurants. We serve our customers kindly and always with a smile. I'm going to my aunt's restaurant. All restaurant food is no different The owner said the food was delicious and customers were visiting. Don't get me wrong, is it the chef or the owner? If you act like that, no matter how much your employees Even if you are nice to the customers, it’s because of the boss. Excellent food. I’ve been going to this place for a long time even when it was called a different name. The food is consistently good and also good value for money. All of a sudden I noticed it gets really busy which means on three occasions I went else where (big mistake) or I waited for a while. I think this place is the best for Korean food in new Malden.

We went for dinner and everything we ordered was tasty! I spent a month in South Korea so can confirm that the food is authentic, tasty and the prices are good too. The staff were friendly, the service was good and we had such a great time. At first glance the restaurant looks small, however, there’s a room at the back which can seat around 20 people.

Food was subpar, not as good as a lot of other places I’ve been to. My Korean wife got the Biji Jigae, which wasn’t good. The texture was wrong and didn’t taste good. The Bossam had bits of bone in the belly slices, which wasn’t pleasant, and the condiments weren’t good either. We were also put in the back room which is very stuffy (they cram as many people in there as they can) and it feels like they are focused just about making money and not about the customers. The owner (who also seems to be head chef) is rude! She says service charge is compulsory and makes her staff check with her before they can remove it (guessing she keeps it for herself otherwise why would she be so bothered about it!). She then said I had to pay it and I reminded her we don’t usually pay tip here in the UK and service charge is voluntary. (I usually pay tip but didn’t want to after she was being rude to me). I’d recommend going to Treestone or Mr Kimchee instead as food is much better!

Went for dinner and it was superb! Usually go to Chinatown in central but was feeling more for Korean food. Got the beef bulgogi, spicy shrimp and bibimbab. Food was stunning and walked away with a full belly. Best Korean food I've had in London so far!
