Very good Indian restaurant lovely food Good service

Had two wonderful meals I requested something not on the menu and was obliged graciously at a very reasonable price. We are returning on the 15/04/24 I would highly recommend

Had a meal last night, table of 5. All chose different meals. The popadum and chutney tray was an indication of what was to come. The popdums fresh and a great selection of chutneys. We then had samosas, pakora and massive onion bhajis, all very fresh and delicious. Five different main courses , clean plates and one doggie bag, wasn’t leaving anything, rice and Nan bread. All commenting on the flavours and the freshness of it all. Drinks very reasonable, to the point when I came home I phoned to check they had been charged . Manager very attentive checking everything was ok. All in all a lovely night with great food and relaxing atmosphere.

This has got to be a jewel in St Annes. The food, service, and ambience are first rate....We booked in the day before, and although busy around the 6.00 pm time, we got in......What a place, first class...

The garlic chilli chicken was 10*10* naan bread was cooked to perfection and not katcha ;) went down a treat mate. Proper appna style. Plenty of masala, great portions and fairly priced, that's exactly how I like my curry and you guys made it without me asking. Goes to show use are perfectionist. You should open a branch down here in longsight. Next time I go Blackpool I will be diverting over to your place again without doubt. Oh yh an thanks for the cuterlery and plates. without that we would of made a right mess in the hotel and probably got charged extra. Nice 1 mate. Remember my face I WILL be back

Went for a family meal last night. Staff accommodating and very attentive. Food was awesome ( best I’ve had in a long time ). The price of the food and drink is very reasonable for the quality of dishes they serve. Everyone one of us said we will be returning soon.. If your in the area, looking for a tasty Indian meal that doesn’t break the bank, rest assured, this is the place to go 😜 Keep up the good work guys 👍👍👍

Ordered once again while on a visit from Manchester. We ordered the special mixed biryani with a madras sauce and saag sauce and it was absolutely divine. Lamb literally melted in your mouth and the pieces of meat were huge. Another reason this is our favourite restaurant.

We make the 40 mile trip to St Annes on a Sunday night at least twice a year and always make a point of eating here, taking advantage of the Sunday special menu. The choice, quality, service and value are hard to beat in my opinion. My friend and I had chicken Madras which was just hot enough without being uncomfortable. Our wives both had chicken with a milder sauce as recommended ( see below ). The staff are very polite and efficient. The head waiter, AJ, was new to us but is a fantastic addition to the staff. He was very knowledgeable about the food and was full of recommendations which is a must for people who aren't that familiar with curries. He also made, according to my wife and our two friends, the best Tia Maria coffee they had ever tasted. The owner also came over for a chat and we were discussing the Christmas day menu. Very tempting!

Appauling, would not reccommend, fries instead of chips and very soggy greasy ones , cold food after waiting 40 minutes for it , burnt naan bread(yet its cold) ordered a jalfrezi and it wasn't a traditional jalfrezi it had inside greenbeans,garden peas and sweet corn with bell peppers , not an ounce of spice . Save your money or go somewhere else if you fancy Indian dishes

Imli is a very popular Indian venue if not thee most popular in St Annes and is highly recommended just look ay the consistently high revues . Our Chicken Tikka Sambar was superb , similar to a Dhansak but with a lemon twist . Have tried many dishes now and they are ALL excellent ., all freshly prepated authentic spices just fantastic . Thanks to Shaj and ALL the fantastic staff , HIGHLY RECOMMENDED .

Really great food and top notch service. Nothing was too much trouble. We attended for a birthday and they happily provided a birthday balloon ahead of our arrival for the celebrations.

We attended this restaurant for my Dad's birthday (8 guests) and it was excellent from start to finish. The staff very kindly made me a chicken korma dish without nuts. All of the food was delicious and the staff were all so patient and kind. We were visiting from Manchester and hope to return again soon!

Great curry restaurant for LythamSA. Great value for the early bird menu with good flexibility of choice. Place was busy for a Tuesday evening which is a good sign. We had two ‘option 2’s - meat samosa, chicken pakora (with sauces) then chicken madras and lamb rogan josh. A side of plain naan and rice to share. Perfect amount of food. Would come again.

Always make a point to visit Imli when in the area. Great food, great prices, service always comes with a smile. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely spot on! Booked in the same day. Arrived not knowing what to expect, arrived our papadum and chutney tray....😍 with a beer Then our curries...a chicken shatkora A dry lamb khorai Pilau rice 2 garlic naan and an extra samber sauce 😘 With a bottle of malbec Lots of delicious flavours Inbetween Then they bring over some mango tequila.....oh my god!!! Well our childless weekend is topped! Perfect food, drink, ambience, attentive staff. Brilliant from start to finish Can't get any better! The best Indian I’ve ever tasted, I don’t live local but was visiting family and it was our first time after hearing great reviews. The food was incredible! The meat was so tender and melted in the mouth. I live an hour away but will be travelling back just for the curry alone.

Just thoroughly enjoyed our evening dinner at Imli , high quality authentic dishes all superb , chicken dhansak , spicy vegitable curry and lovely pillaf rice , very good portions and good prices for such a great meal , well done to Shaj and all the team for their great service , highly recommended .

We again visited twice in the 4 days we were in the area. The Imli continues to astound us with the quality of their dining and exceptional value for money. It is simply the best restaurant in the area. We look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Unexpected delight. Top class Indian Restaurant. Have spent all weekend looking for a satisfactory Curry House in Blackpool. Stumbled upon Imli whilst checking out St Anne's. Sleek, modern, clean and tidy. Service from Kam was impeccable. The Mushroom Phall was joyous. Finally got some chilli on my lips 💋. Highly recommended 🇮🇳🇧🇩🌶️

We live coming here when we are staying in St annes. There is so much variety in wood Street but this has to be one of our favourites

We live within the local area and cannot believe we haven't come across this gem of a place before, I tell you what though - will definitely be returning. The best indian meal we have had in a long, long time. We had a chicken tikka and tandoori chicken starter. The chicken was so tender and full of flavour. Our mains provided excellent flavour and good portion size- the garlic nann bread was to die for. All food piping hot and plates warmed. Lovely little touches with the hot towel and complementary shot drink. Excellent service. Thank you Imli, I thought good food combined with great service and attention to detail was a thing of the past from recent experiences of eating out, but you have proved that theory wrong. We can't wait to return.

We booked the Imli for the 3 rd time we go when ever we are in Lytham st Anne’s area, this time was a family occasion to celebrate our wedding anniversary , we pre booked our meals the day before and everything was fast and spot on , great allergy advice as we have coeliacs and nut allergies in the family so this is important and we all ate with confidence, as for the food hot tasty and full of flavour and loads of choice . All this served by people with a smile on there faces thank you, truly a warm welcoming restaurant at fair prices , look forward to seeing you again next time we are in town All the best Gary , Fan and family Oldham

Wonderful food, reasonably priced and great service

By far the best meal we had whilst on holiday in Lytham St. Anne’s! We ordered a chicken tikka masala and a vegetable bhuna with some garlic and mushroom rices. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender and soft. The sauce was sweet and creamy. The rice was rich and full of flavour. The vegetable bhuna had a touch of spice and you could really taste the tomato. We ordered Diet Coke and lemonade. Overall paid less than £20 each. The staff were really friendly and took us in at around 7pm on a Tuesday evening without a reservation. Very impressed! Too full to order a dessert but saw several being brought out (one of which contained ice cream with various chocolate sauces draped over it.) my only regret is that we didn’t have time to go back and order one later in the week! Spotted some chocolate squares which I figured would be the end of meal snack, but instead we were offered free tequila shots! Very reasonable price for the quality of the food. Will definitely be going back on our next visit!

Visited on a Thursday night with my husband. Fairly quiet when we arrived, but we were there at 5.30, place was almost full an hour later! Food was fantastic as always, we opted for option 3 on the early bird menu. Started with poppadoms, followed by a mixed kebab and shahi tokra chicken for starters, and then 2 chicken bhunas with mushroom rice and a naan for our main course both madras hot. All the food was delicious, very tasty with great portions. Service is always very friendly and efficient here, and I would highly recommend a visit to this wonderful restaurant

Wonderful authentic quality dining with super friendly quick service from Shaj , Ronnie , Paige & Hasna . Chicken Dhansak , Vegitable Pillau , Tandoori Roti , Vegitable Jalfreizi , Sag Paneer ALL SUPERB . Imli is a very popular restaurant in the area with lots of loyal regulars and it's easy to see why . Highly recommended .

Great value with the “early bird” menu

Visited Imli on a busy Saturday evening. This is probably our fourth visit and the food and service are consistently excellent. I was delighted that there was no quibble when we wanted to share a starter. The only negative is the chairs weigh a ton...

Wonderful restaurant! I booked a table for 17 for my mum's 80th birthday. They arranged 2 X balloon arrangements for the table free of charge. The food was fantastic! Everyone commented how nice the food was. I spoke with Shaz a few days before and emailed our menu choice. Everything was spot on. Food hot, quick service, friendly and good price too. I would highly recommend. Thank you to Shaz and the team for making it a special evening for my mum.

Absolutely loved it. Very friendly staff. Service was fantastic from start to finish. Food was fabulous. Kids are getting into curries via Kormas and said this was the best they've ever had. The passanda we both had was delicious. Super peshwari naan and pilau rice. Overall a wonderful evening meal to finish our week in st Anne's.

I've lived in blackpool over 12 years and this place is by far the best for a decent curry, ide say it would give alot of bradford currys a run for there money, the taste was amazing and price was very good, naj is one top guy.

We had been to this restaurant for dinner during our visit to Blackpool. Surprisingly authentic spicy curries (we usually find Indian restaurants altering the cuisine to sweet in many local areas!) But imli was spot on, they even customised the spice levels to our liking! Their chicken chat Puri is a must try! * great food * great atmosphere * affordable pricing - really appreciate this esp in these times of inflation! Well done guys! 👏

100% our favourite when staying locally. Professional, enthusiastic but a polite style from the staff, among the best I've ever witnessed well done👏. Decent enough value & superb quality fresh food... It was nearly full early on a Thur! Check out the 'King Cobra' corked bottles 750ml. The only recommendation is that for a restaurant of this success & long standing 'decent air con' would be a given as well as a wise investment.

I have never gone to any restaurant two nights in a row but when we went to Imli with friends on 10th July the food was so good we had to go back again on our own the next day. The staff were very friendly...

We visited this restaurant whilst in holiday in June and we can highly recommend a visit. Every dish we ordered tasted amazing. I enjoy my curries on the hot side so I ordered a vindaloo. Many places sacrifice taste for heat with vindaloo but not here, it was perfect. I also ordered the lamb chop starter which was delicious too. My husband ordered a vegetarian curry which was also of a high standard. The staff were professional and friendly and were obviously passionate about the dishes they were serving. We will definitely be back when we visit this area again.

Fantastic 5 stars Visited here with my partner whilst in St annes .. Didn't pre book just dropped in and what a hidden gem . The staff was very welcoming couldn't do enough for us, but did not pester like some do . For starters we had poppadoms and a chutney tray , they was probably the nicest we ever had the chutneys top class . Partner ordered a chicken tikka shashlik It came on a hot griddle the meat was top class and the rogan sauce first class . We had chicken tikka a dansak extra hot and that was amazing they added fresh chillies for the heat rather than just throwing chilli powder in like some places do , the pineapple was fresh and flavours was all present . Bread was top class too . Only gripe would be got French fries instead of chips I do prefer a proper chip with my curry but that's personal preference . The bill was very reasonable and a good selection of drinks . Overall cannot recommend this place enough the best curry we have had in a long time . We live 40 miles away and I'm willing to travel the next time we want curry as our locals just don't compare to this place .

Obviously tastes differ and Indian food is no exception. Regretfully we did not fall in love with the food here. We had a King Prawn Purée which was a particular dry and dull dish and not generous with King Prawns, a very well cooked Chinese...
