Food menu is very limited. I had a blt which was nice enough my other half had a burger which was again nice enough then we had halloumi fries which for us was way over done. Staff seem friendly enough the cafe is nice and clean.

I took 11 members of the Lincolnshire Tipec ( Porsche Enthusiasts) group to Ignition as a preliminary trip for breakfast prior to a Peaks district drive out last Sunday the 25th June. Pics attached , considering we all arrived en bloc and there had been no pre-ordering the coffee came out very quickly and the breakfasts rapidly followed! The food was excellent and the service very good also, one of our guys had a problem with water gushing out his car and once a few of the guys got a grip of the problem the owner was more than helpful providing water for his car: As l am regional organiser for this group we are always looking to support new car themed ventures and I would certainly recommend this to any car clubs wanting to venture into the fabulous Peak District. Fran and the team made us all very welcome and the booking system was very easy for everyone! We would certainly come again !

As a Petrolhead my son and I decided to do a spontaneous drive out (me in my Audi RS6 and he in his Nissan 350Z) to 'Ignition Cars & Coffee' on a Saturday morning for brunch. I drove 105 miles each way and the Bacon and Sausage Bap was well worth the drive and the £5.50 cost!! We were both a little disappointed by the size of the venue in regards available space for cars. We're used to Caffeine & Machine, which is a far bigger venue, and so I suppose our expectations where maybe set too high. That all said it's a great place for coffee and breakfast if driving in the Peak District area. Also interesting to see what other cars are going to make an appearance.

Comfortable, spacious and welcoming. Popped in for a coffee as we had only recently heard about this, it having opened in Jan 2023. Coffee was large, hot and strong so full marks there. Chocolate brownie was also very good. This was not a themed event, so the car Park was slightly disappointing, but like other similar locations (Caffine and Machine for instance) it is just Pot luck what is there on the day. Will return again, and probably suggest a car club visit.

My partner is a big fan of cars and car orientated coffee shops so was very excited to visit. We were both very impressed with the cafe and service and are looking forward to visit again. Very clean and welcoming space to sit and relax looking at the cars. Although they’ve just opened, the staff were efficient and very friendly even though they were also a uper busy. The car park was a bit limited for space but the owners were outside directing cars, helping people get parked up quickly. Coffee and food were both good quality and ideal for a Sunday morning. I’m sure as they settle in more it will be even better and we’re excited to see what they do.

A disappointing visit to be honest for what was an eagerly anticipated birthday Sunday lunch. We found the venue signposting to be poor; the barn was cold which detracted from the environment & setting. On arrival we were eventually shown to our table and waited ...and waited and waited. We asked for a menu (maybe foolish of us, but there isn't one for Sunday lunch) but the super male waiter explained the format of the trio of roasts with vegetables etc and a choice of 4 desserts. The food was plentiful; the plates hot, and the service good. No more no less. The waitress clearing the plates advised us of the 4 options for dessert (one of which was cheese and biscuits for £3 extra) and asked if we wanted coffee. We asked for 2 Americano's and were told that the coffee was instant! It arrived in cups without saucers and a heavily stained teaspoon! On questioning this with the waitress, who had served us at the bar, explained that they were "old spoons that don't clean up very well" and that the "dishwasher was not working". When later questioning the lack of saucers to the super male waiter - he said that was an oversight; that we were having a bad experience (true) and profusely apologised. Our bill for two "Sunday lunch specials" (of just two courses) at £35 per head, a glass of white wine and a pint of Cruzcampo was £82. Very disappointing. We appreciate that it may have been an "one off " experience and may revisit one day, but not soon I'm afraid.

Solo comimos una vez allí, pero habíamos jurado que si estuviéramos en el distrito en el futuro sería nuestro lugar al que ir. La comida en nuestra visita estaba bien preparada y bien presentada, y esperamos volver. Qué vergüenza para ellos.

Birthday bash ruined by young girl breaking into a conversation that our time at the table had gone over the two hours despite the restriction not being notified when making a telephone booking and making a significant journey from Hull to meet friends and enjoy their company celebrating an important birthday milestone- the statement made by the young girl was dictatorial and no diplomacy used. We shall certainly be returning to Hardwick Inn where staff are pleasant, amenable and very attentive towards their guests. An important gathering for a special birthday ruined.
