Iberica Marylebone in City of London, Westminster

The food was good and decently priced for the location, my favourites were: Seafood paella (share between 3) Grilled octopus Prawns Cheese croquettes Patatas bravas I think suggestion of 2-3 tapas plates per person is reasonable if you are not a super hungry person. Ambiance was a bit loud at times, service wasn’t the fastest as it took at least 30 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and take the order. Tapas comes as soon as it’s ready so you don’t get all your plates at the same time. Waiting time for paella is 30 mins.

Very cozy restaurant with exquisite and quality Spanish food. I recommend the octopus and the paella. The service was very attentive and Boris was charming with his attention and recommendations.

This is the best food I have eaten in some time. The food is authentic and exquisitely crafted. The service is impeccable and I felt safe in the advice on the drinks and food, as they were fantasticrecommendations. I can't wait to return.

I can't believe it took an hour from ordering to it being delivered!! One small vegetarian pizza and a Magnum icecream. Pizza was aired. They are just around the corner from where I live. The order was on a Wednesday and well after teatime orders

Luis was the best, could not recommend more service food and ambience the best

It was a pleasant experience at Ibérica, and we really enjoyed what we ordered. The food reminded of Madrid for some reason, and the service’s extremely great, recommended.

Food was great! And service was excellent as well. We had Potatoes, octopus, ham…. All delicious! Only that was a bit dissapointed that paella was sold out in lunch time so nothing left for dinner guests, would reserve one next time when booking. Sangria was nice as well👍🏼 The black rice was a bit hard and lamb was underwhelming, the only two that don’t live up to the price.

A chilled environment, in which to enjoy some exquisite food. A small, well thought out menu, with a wide range of pricing, yet each dish getting the same fastidious care and attention. The wine selection displays similar craft.

The best Spanish in London. I’ve tried most and this is hands down

the service was a real letdown. We had to practically beg for our drinks twice because the waitress kept forgetting about us, although it wasn't busy at all.The paella arrived overly burned. The presence of charred bits made it nearly inedible, a far cry from what one would expect from a Spanish restaurant.We had to ask for wipes on two separate occasions, and even then, we were given only four when we needed five. While it must be said that the overall ambiance and the non-paella dishes were enjoyable, it is hard to overlook the disappointing level of service received.

A little cold by the window with a draft from the front door, service and food were OK but not amazing.

We've visited Iberica Great Portland Street many times and it's a little disappointing not to be welcomed back as regular visitors. The service is fine and the food is consistently tasty, although pricing is becoming a little prohibitive.

The starter and the main arrived at the same time, by the time I got to the latter it had become cold. The response was that it was sort of normal to bring both at the same time. I beg to disagree…

Let down by poor service and high prices. Food and drink orders forgotten or very slow. We'd ordered ahead a vegetarian piella, but despite assurances that it would be 45 mins, they took over 2 hours. Lots of wait staff, but they seemed poorly coordinated. Poor allergy options. They weren't helpful to one of our party who was gluten and dairy intolerant, and couldn't offer her much when they finally told her options. Not what you expect for an expensive restaurant in central London on a Tuesday evening.

me and my partner were celebrating a late valentine’s dinner, the services was great, we were served by Luis and Marta, they were both amazing and the food was incredible, we will be coming back soon!!!

Food was highly disappointing. Service was not great. Items on menu were out of stock. We were charged for inedible food we were served. I won’t be coming back.

Had read a lot of good things about this place, the iberica ham options are of high quality as are the trio of chorizo but the expensive Paella was very over cooked and was hugely disappointing but worse of all was the practice of hiding the unwarranted service charge at the top of the bill rather than the bottom, felt ripped off to be honest, no chance of me returning.

Amazing food and knowledgeable staff. Had a late Sunday lunch here with a colleague and it was fab. The server recommended a nice selection of vegetarian options with a perfect wine to pair. The patatas bravas was amazing. I highly recommend the pear salad as well. And don’t get me started on the delicious warm bread baked fresh each day. The peppers were not as excellent as anticipated but still quite tasty. And finally the aubergine while not as visually appealing was amazing on the palate. The restaurant was not too busy at 3 PM on a Sunday and as such not too loud. Easy to have a quiet conversation and the decor was very well done.

They greeted us very warmly. Thank you to manager Klara and I couldn't remember the name of the gentleman who served. I also would like to thank the kitchen team. The food was delicious. We were pleased that we chose this place.

I went with a friend to buy croquettes to eat at home. It is very convenient, because you call by phone to order them and when we arrive they were already ready. Also the croquettes were very good.

The portion of the seafood paella is very small, based on 4 people.

I had a delightful experience at Iberica in Marylebone last night and felt compelled to share my positive thoughts. The croquetas were simply amazing, bursting with flavor and a definite highlight. The bravas and octopus dishes were also very good, showcasing the kitchen's skill in preparing delicious Spanish cuisine. Darlene, the lady serving our table, was outstanding. She wore a warm smile throughout and demonstrated a high level of professionalism and sweetness. Boris, who seemed to be managing the team, did so with very kind manners and was particularly nice to us. Faiz, our host, was incredibly welcoming, paying attention to every detail and ensuring our experience was nothing short of enjoyable. To cap off the evening, we tried the chocolate for the churros, and while the churros were ok, the chocolate was a tad bitter (muy amargo) and the Aubergine wasn't the best dish I have to say . I would recommend this restaurant.

absolutely dreadful, my “calzone” was just an oven pizza with chips on donner meat thrown on, not a calzone at all, by far the worst pizza takeaway I’ve had in my life(I’m being serious). Also my friends donner pizza was a cheese pizza and donner meat thrown on. Please save your money!

The driver tried to extort another £3 for delivery and when I refused he said they wouldn’t deliver to me again, the food was actually cold, the chips were soggy and looked like they were cooked in old fat. All in all not a good experience and £30 wasted

Luis took care of us. Food was amazing, the attention too details was great. Definitely recommend the Jamón and Flan as my highlights! Muchísimas gracias !

Surprenante découverte de mon séjour à Londres. Ibérica Marylebone est un restaurant espagnol proposant les tapas et les plats typiques que l’on retrouve en Espagne. Tapas : Les Croquetas et les calamars étaient vraiment bien cuisinés et se rapprochaient au mieux de ce que l’on peut manger en Espagne contrairement au crevettes quand à elles, qui manquait d’ail mais qui était quand même de bonne qualité. La sangria n’était également pas similaire à celle qu’on a l’habitude de boire mais faisait l’affaire. Paella : J’ai essayé la paella au riz noir et j’ai vraiment aimé. Elle a vraiment un bon goût et on prends beaucoup de plaisir à déguster ce plat méditerranéen. Conclusion : Nous avons payé environ 45£ par personne. Malgré son prix un peu élevé mais raisonnable, je recommande vivement ce restaurant.

This is a great place but was packed on my visit and the food and service was slow. Lots of food not available. What we had was delicious but would avoid at busy times for a lunch in future. Ate a bunch of tapas starters and went for 4 black rice w gambas otherwise I was told would be another hour wait at least. It is though a great restaurant usually and reasonably priced.

A stylish and quiet place to walk in for lunch (For dinner it is a much more hectic place). The Spanish cuisine here contains dishes from all over the country, there is something for everyone here. I would give this place a try if you're in the Euston area. (Dined Aug-2023)

Gut essen in England?? Mittlerweile ja!! Das Iberica ist ein einladendes Lokal mit sehr aufmerksamem und freundlichem Personal. Die Karte ist übersichtlich (was gut ist!) und bietet jedem etwas. Wir hatten klassische Tapas, jedoch fand ich die Portionen gut und nicht zu klein (wie leider zu oft beim Spanier). Die Qualität war hervorragend. Loben muss ich die Vermouth Mussels (Miesmuscheln), die waren top! Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat gepasst. Das Iberica war auf unserem 4-tägigen London-Trip das Lokal mit der besten Qualität. Und darauf kommt es beim Essen schließlich an.

I have been visiting this place for over 10’years for social occasions and business meetings as well as Xmas celebrations with work. Never had an issue. On this occasion, 8/12/22023- it was a work Xmas dinner for 25 people that mean the most to me. Good was good but service was terrible(barring a young lady who was good as always)slow and disorganised. Manager was hardly to be seen thus giving me a feeling that leadership was lacking. Bottles of wine were smashing on the floor dropping out of servers hands! Quantity of food being served was hit and miss and some portions seemed minuscule and some huge. What happened to the lovely warm service with a smile on the face? No one came to serve wines regularly until asked. Wish they could have left bottles on dinner tables for people to top them up. Same with water!! Cava was pre ordered and was only served after reminding!! We were sat down almost 10 mins behind schedule with hardly any apology. A faulty tower like experience!! Not going back again as London has amazing places which provide great service

Visited Ibérica for our Friends Christmas get together. We booked the Wine Tasting experience and had a great time. Boris was great; super articulate, passionate and knowledgeable. Boris was very accommodating and made our time amazing. It would of been great to try more of the wines for the price i think a selection of 4/5 wines would of been great! There were a few items on the menu that was unavailable which was disappointing but Boris did make us aware of that ahead of time. I also suggest with the wine experience customers should be in a more secluded part of the restaurant so we can fully immerse ourselves in the experience.

The food is good and the service is attentive but, for me, there are a lot of other Spanish tapas places in London that trump this one.

Broke down in my van while on deliveries, ordered from these as they were local and it got here in decent time lively and warm and was very nice to eat.

Being here since his opening, exceptionally consistent in service, quality, courtesy. Kyla a young reservation person always accommodates us in a sophisticated manners, outstanding! Klara has magnetic smile and savoir faire and makes us feel at home. Food doesn’t need reviews as it talks for itself. A must in this area. Sonaali deserves a mention too…. Great team and great service.

Really nice food and the service was great

Our table of 5 persons was served exclusively by Sonaali. Sonaali was kind, considerate and attentive at all times even though the restaurant was very busy. She made good recommendations from the extensive menu and her wine suggestions were spot on. One of our party was slightly hard of hearing so Sonaali managed to have us moved to a more tranquil spot which made a world of difference to our overall experience. We have all been to Iberica before and we will definitely return. The food is exceptional and genuinely Spanish. It’s only a shame that the octopus isn’t Pulpo a La Gallega traditionally prepared and served.

This was our three monthly lunch .We chose well. We were seated under a loudspeaker and quickly moved upstairs to a delightful secluded table. Delicious choice of tapas and lovely wine. Attentive and friendly service despite their being one down. Will recommend. Many thanks

We had such a nice dinner! Amazing service and amazing food. We got 6 tapas and a paella for two, and churros at the end. This was definitely too much food for two people, would probably suggest 4 tapas max. if you want to order the paella (the waiter did tell us!). Would suggest everything we had - super good. Two drinks per person and the total set up to 160£, which we thought was super fair for the food, quality and location. Will definitely go back!

Our usual place or order from. The pizzas were not piping hot and I think they had been sitting around for a while so not the best I have had from here. Also took a long time to come nearly 1.5 hours

Attended as a walk in (2 people) early lunchtime on a Tuesday. Restaurant was 2/3 empty and we were begrudgingly shown to a table and handed some menus. Lots of staff walking about and all seemed friendly however it took nearly 30 minutes and a virtual rugby tackle by myself to attract someone’s attention and order some drinks / food. We started with croquettes… sorry sir we are saving those for people that booked a table… I laughed, the waitress laughed and then there was an awkward silence before I realised there was no punchline. I was then invited to order anything else from the menu… Drinks arrived 5 minutes later followed by the food in a steady stream which I like when having Tapas. The food we had was nice to be fair albeit the 3 cured ham selection at £30 was 12 of the smallest and thinnest slices of meat I have ever seen and although reasonably tasty I felt it was £15 / £20 too expensive. I know iberico ham is expensive and I am not tight but even so.. Think the total bill was North of £100 and we only had 1 x drink each and a few plates. I have had way nicer tapas and the atmosphere was non existent. Despite my whinging review I have to say the quality of the food and the politeness of the staff was great but everything was wrong (hopefully that makes some sense)

The food was literally amazing! We had 10 different dishes between 4 of us and they were all delicious. The churros were great too. By far though, we felt the service from the main waitress serving us did let the restaurant down. Our drinks came a while after our food had arrived and had to chase them. Our son’s drink was not very nice (first choice turned out was out of stock and arrived nearly at the end of the meal), so asked if they could take away and not add to the bill. If we had asked for our meal to be free it would probably have gone down better. For pudding, 3 of us had churros and 1 the flourless cake. The churros (delicious btw) arrived promptly. We had all finished the churros and the cake hadn’t arrived. When we asked the waiter, nothing appeared to happen. By the end we just cancelled the order. What annoyed me the most was that when we paid we were hardly even acknowledged. After spending well over £200 and a £25 service charge, a good smiley thank you with a “hope everything was to your likening” goes a long way. A good enjoyable meal in the round despite the service.

This was a fantastic place to celebrate our anniversary. Great and detail-minded service, tasty food especially the black rice. I can't wait to return and explore more on other food.

Really disappointed last night I’m afraid. We’d had a very enjoyable meal there a few weeks ago, so returned to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Not such a good experience this time. The menu was less appealing and two things on the menu were not available including the croquettes, surely a must in any tapas restaurant. The food was okay at best. Service similar. It was hot and it took several requests to get the AC turned on. Very noisy. We were sitting right next to where the staff where throwing cutlery into a drawer. Expensive too - £227 for three of us when we had only three glasses of wine. That’s pricey even for Central London. £28 for twelve very thin, very small strips of ham. We didn’t get one of the dishes we ordered and it took a lot of persuading to get this removed from our bill. So we wouldn’t go back, even though we had a good meal the previous time.

Had lunch here with colleagues. The service was slow and inattentive. The food was good, but not worth the prices charged IMHO.

Came for a group work dinner - we had great, friendly service in a space away from other diners and the food was nice. Only comment is that the servers were not very able to tell you about the dishes / for dietary requirements, e.g. what was vegetarian.

Shocking don’t order from these people they are hopeless

From the second we arrived until the minute we left our whole experience was perfect. Sami who was large and in charge at the bar when we entered advised, suggested and guided us both through the drinks available according to our preferences and the food available on the menu as well. He gave great suggestions and encouraged us to order just the right amount of food, not over selling as so many places do. Our particular favourites were the croquettes, the chorizo lollipops, delicately batterd in tempura, delicious, ande the suckling pig. The cocktalis were all new to us, although we are seasoned diners. All the staff were courteous and helpful, the food arrived quickly but we weren't rushed. I cannot wait to go back to this wonderful restaurant.

Booked for 10-12 slot in the evening. We arrived at 10 15 and they told us kitchen closed because we arrived late. Completely unacceptable. We remained without food. Some people really dont know what is hospitality

Food came late waited nearly 2 hours for it to arrive, the delivery driver dident have a clue where to drop off and got lost, kebab came luke warm and no tandoori chicken was inside, verry disappointing.

The taste is pretty good but the portions were extortionate. Spent £120+ (incl. 2 drinks) and left hungry.

Absolutely shocking 2 hours to deliver

Situated in a good location, this very attractive Spanish style restaurant had a lovely, vibrant atmosphere especially as it was a Tuesday evening. There was an excellent choice of tapas including a very unusual beetroot and coffee one. We received a warm welcome from Kyla who offered us a choice of tables. The service was efficient, friendly and prompt but not rushed at all. We will definitely return when we are in London again and, much as we loved the tapas, we’ll try the paella next time.

The food was of a decent standard not quite Michelin star unfortunately , but the portions was decent and the worth going for . They spent a long time between finishing meals and getting plates and after we asked for the bill we were waiting for an unusually long time and had to ask again but we were ignored first time round the second member then answered and we got the bill quickly . Overall decent food would recommend but won’t be back immediately .

Early dinner, lovely food both traditional tapas and variations. Trio de jamon, toast and tomato, boquerones, tiger prawns, Padron pepper, croquetas, ribeye - all excellent. Try black rice if they have it. Friendly helpful staff. Good space. Extensive wine list. This is a place to go regularly. You will never tire of eating there.

Although the food was nice. It took TWO HOURS to get here. We were twice given a different delivery time and it was still late and when we tried to phone the restaurant four times, nobody answered the phone.

Если нравится испанская кухня, то это отличное место! Хорошее меню, есть выбор тапас, стартеров, десертов, вин. Довольно демократичные цены как для ресторана в Лондоне. Всё было вкусно,но на мой взгляд слегка пересолено. Обслуживание было не очень быстрое, слегка высокомерное, пару раз откровенно игнор, хотя заказ был большой.

Missing some of my order and didnt receive my money either and when I rang they had closed pizza shop is getting worse and just eat needs better ways of refunds for missing food!!!!
