Came for late lunch / early dinner. Ordered mixed starters and wrap Wrap was ok nothing special but the mains made up for it

The restaurant is good. The food have a good taste and serving enough food. The price is good too. The staffing is available to help in all that you wanted. Is a Lebanese Food

The wraps here are incredible. Generous portion sizes, especially for lunch! £10 lunch deal, wrap, chips and juice or milkshake. The meal deal was more than enough for lunch, but they also provided hummus and bread as a complimentary starter and a traditional dessert. This is by far the best lunch I've had in a long time!

Not for me found the food quite tasteless but the service was quite good . Ordered a few starters and a couple of wraps and two juices £50 so not cheap.

we were there on 9th March. All the food we ordered was very tasty. The crockery was very clean. The ambience very nice. The service was quick. we have already eaten at this place few times that's why we traveled from Nor wood Green to Central London for this food. We enjoyed very much eating there.

Doesn't seem like much from the outside but the inside was the real deal! Service was extremely quick, although we were there on a very quiet day, and food was amazing. Ordered set menu for two, but beware, it could easily feed three or four! However, 100% worth it for the quality. Also recommend the wraps too. We even took a humous to go :)

Was nice restaurant. Not %100 like Beirut but it was good enough. I tried Fattos tabbula and hommus with meat and kebap. All was effordable. Price little bit high.

A very nice place to bring your family and friends. A good amount of options and prices to choose and a nice environment to spend a good evening.

Completely fluffed up our order. Brought wraps over with wrong meat inside. Served a wrap with gherkin to one of us who we had said is allergic. The £15 plates only had meat and an attempt at a salad - sliced onion with week-old gherkin. Only when most of us were served did they say they had run out of a certain dish, so the replacement came after the rest of us had finished eating. Women had to use men's toilets. Toilets were flooded. Floor of restaurant was dirty. Problems weren't just with our table: neighbouring table's main courses came before their starters. Chaos.

Please don't waste your hard earned money at this venue.

I was the only vegan at the table, and honestly, I had only one option. For the price, what I ate was literally a bland plate of vegetables in a red sauce. It wasn't terrible, but for a restaurant with "vegan options" I should be able to find more than one thing to eat. Perhaps the waiter wasn't well informed,as it was him I asked.

Spicy lamb sausage combined with lamb hummus and flat bread is a really good combo. Looked after us really well. Also try the Turkish delight

Visited Beirut Express for dinner tonight and came away feeling let down. We have not visited the place before so went in expecting a good Mediterranean menu with punchy tastes and great service. But the food wasn't upto the mark and uninspiring and the service was a big disappointment. The pricing was not worth the food on offer and a mandatory 12.5% service charge for service that's not even worth talking about is outrageous.

My wife and I came here for dinner the other Sunday and, because we've never really had Lebanese before, had a few different dishes. The food was lovely and the service was good; we enjoyed our visit.

Accustomed to Lebanese restaurants in the US we were excited to have so much more choice of vegetarian dishes, like pumpkin kibbeh. Also olives to kill for. And all the regular foods like hummus and fattoush were delicious.

Visited at lunch, had a lamb shawarma. The pitta breads were packed with lamb and a beautiful side sauce of garlic. The plate also had a garnish of some pickles and onion. Would come again. Price 16.50£, good value.

So we went here because we heard good things. The food was fresh and made to order which was its saving grace. The reason for my poor review, it took forever, the waiter didn’t speak English well and they brought us substitutes for what we ordered rather than explaining the had run out of what we ordered. We ordered the Vegan dinner for two for $60 and they only brought half of what was listed, the other items were poorly substituted. In totally we ended up paying $150 for what ever they decided to bring us with no explanation.

Nos enteramos de que Beirut Express se había reabierto en otro lugar después de la demolición del edificio hace más de un año. Sin embargo, encontramos que el restaurante marroquí Sidi Maroush ahora se había convertido a un costo mínimo para el nuevo Beirut Express. Simplemente no existía el mismo ambiente del Beirut Express original causado por el interior marroquí de Sidi Maroush, que se mantenía igual y el restaurante demasiado grande. También el antiguo Beirut Express tenía una cocina abierta, pero la nueva tiene una cocina cerrada, aunque hay escupidas shawarma visibles. Esta es una conversión barata y funciona más como un restaurante en lugar de una tienda de comida rápida. ¡No volveremos ya que hemos encontrado un restaurante más pequeño con mejor comida!

Been going here on & off for years. Sometimes alone or with friends. It’s a nice place to catch up with friends. They have halogen heaters outside to keep you warm under the canopy. I have mixed reviews with regards to the staff. I’m not sure if they are attentive or not. I feel they want to give customers their space so they just disappear at times? Overall it’s a great experience and atmosphere. It’s not exactly cheap. It’s central London after all!

Fui ayer para mi cena de cumpleaños, éramos 6 y todos nos sentimos igualmente decepcionados con nuestra experiencia en el restaurante. La comida era normal y demasiado caro y el servicio era muy pobre. Para darte una idea, pedí cordero tagine, que por sí solo tenía 19 y tienes que pedir el arroz y el cuscús por separado para otros 5. 50. No tenían suficientes camareros para manejar el volumen de una cena de fin de semana y estuvimos esperando mucho tiempo y tuvimos que avisarle a un camarero para que ordenara nuestras bebidas al principio. Por el precio que cobran y la comida promedio que sirven, preferiría ir a cualquiera de los otros 100 restaurantes vecinos y pagar una fracción del costo de una comida mucho mejor y tolerar con gusto el mal servicio que es la norma en todos los restaurantes. en camino de Edgeware. Cuando hice reservaciones por teléfono, me dijeron que la danza del vientre comienza a las 8:30 p.m. pero en realidad no comenzó hasta las 9:45 p.m. Lo más destacado de la noche fue la danza del vientre. Sin duda no volvería a perder mi dinero o tiempo en este restaurante de nuevo.

Golpee Edgware Road con una bonita decoración y muy buen servicio, este lugar siempre es buena comida, buen servicio y una encantadora música en vivo si le gustan las vibras árabes, si no puede disfrutar del espectáculo de la bailarina del vientre.

Being a regular, I was extremely disappointed by the service received during my visit for dinner tonight. The restaurant was empty but we had to wait a good 15 minutes before the waiter approached us to take our order. He then never brought our chips which we ordered with the mains.

I had the Tagine Badawi which was very good indeed. I have seen mixed reviews of Chateau Ksara Reserve du Couvent, but I thought it complimented the meal perfectly. The waiter was most pleasant and I would eat here again.

Since visiting Morocco last year, I’ve looked forward to repeating the food experience I had there. This restaurant came pretty close. I had the couscous with chicken and lamb brochettes, my partner had the tangine chicken. We started with Hummus Beiruty which was spicy, but not too much. My entree was delicious and a reasonable portion. We shared and my partner’s chicken was the most tender I’ve ever had. We ended the meal with baclava, fresh fruit, and mint tea that was on the house! The tea was not as minty or sweet as I’d had in Morocco, but was still good.

Maarouf Abu Zaki is the food genius behind the Maroush group. Although he is a Lebanese Druze, my North African friends swear by the authenticity of his Moroccan cuisine. Wonderful food and service, with reasonable prices.

We have a great meal with friends at the Sidi Maarouf. The food choice was very good and the dishes we had were well prepared. The lamb was delicious. Try the Lebanese wine with your meal. It was excellent.

This place is where your taste buds feel the happiest. The food is out of this world and the service is pleasant and professional; ask for a waiter called (Bilal), he will make your experience the best. Lovely decor and beautiful ambiance, your company will love your choice of restaurants if you bring them here..:)

We just finished a delicious dinner at this restaurant. Service from Bilal and his team was spectacular. We’ve tried loads of Arabic restaurants in this area and this one is by far the best in terms of cooking and service. Highly recommended.

Excellent meal, staff superb. Had the mixed grill which was not only excellent, but also at £18 reasonably priced. Plenty of add ons and complimentary fruit at the end, which was exceptionally fresh. Lebanese wine very good and not expensive. Chips not all that, but you can't expect total perfection. Should have had more bread instead. Garlic sauce sublime. Currently the best restaurant in Edgware Road, in my humble opinion.

Sidi Maarouf is a great restaurant to go to on Edgware Road for a family night out. The food was good (even though it is pricey), and we really enjoyed the entertainment! But I really want to thank Bilal who was an exceptional waiter, he really looked after us and made sure that we got our food in good time.

Excellent, thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. The interior was enchanting, food sublime and service very attentive. Portions slightly too large, therefore unable to finish all courses which was only disappointing aspect. Many thanks for a great evening.

Excellent Moroccan food. Taste is amazing, and lot of variety. Serving quantity is good, and they give a lot of side portions, so be careful not to over order. Baklawas were amazing!

Cuando entras en el restaurante usted entra en un mundo de Marruecos. Hemos estado varias veces a lo largo de los años y el personal es muy amable. Este fue un sábado con un huésped y visita el restaurante estaba lleno, lo que se tradujo en un servicio bastante pobre, siendo la izquierda con placas terminadas por un largo tiempo. La comida era muy promedio, pero la experiencia es excelente, con la música a las 9:00 p.m. y la danza del vientre en 9. 30 que sin duda hizo las cosas muy animado! Teníamos tanginess pero no viene en el tanginess plato con la cubierta, como en el pasado, y a que le faltaba la normal marroquí y sabor. especias También hay una pequeña zona para sentarse al aire libre donde se puede tomar café y shisha.

We regularly come here as a family and the food is always delicious and exceptionally tasty. The manager Bilal is so friendly and always looks after us. Highly recommended to anyone wanting authentic Moroccan cuisine, the lamb tagine with dates and almonds is a personal favourite - not to be missed!

Fantastic customer service fit for 5* hotels, this cosy place really is a “hidden” gem. (Apparently it’s part of a much bigger maroush group of restaurants)

We found this through TA, and we were not disappointed! The dishes were perfect! Then, when asked if we wanted dessert, we declined- the portions were so generous none of us could finish our meals- they brought us plates of fruit, perfectly ripe and a perfect end to a fantastic meal!

A Mediterranean restaurant With charming cozy atmosphere, the manager Mr Wadeaa is very caring and welcoming , the staff as well are fast, smiley and helpful ( Mohamed Ragab and the nice waitress from Morocco and the nice security guy) all of them makes you feel at home and you are a family not just a customer, the food is so tasty and the portions are quiet big the place has also an outdoor sitting for smoking, We liked the place and went to it almost every night and definitely will go there every time we come to London

A group of us went for lunch and we all thought it was a great place and spoke about bringing other people there. Food was delicious and generous. Service great and we loved the Moroccan interior for atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

In occasione di un meeting europeo abbiamo cenato presso questo locale molto tipico, forse un po' ridondante nei complementi: tende, drappi specchi con cornici moresche, ma di sicuro effetto! Abbiamo aperto la cena con una serie di antipasti: hummus, olive, maionese ajioli, insalata, ali di pollo, salsiccia, tutto accompagnato dal classico pane: pita se non ricordo male... tutto molto buono, fresco e appetitoso e ho trovato le porzioni molto generose! successivamente ci hanno servito alcuni bocconcini di carne alla griglia: buona ma non eccellente, per poi passare ad un piatto che nonostante fossimo sazi era talmente buono, cucinato in modo impeccabile con un giusto equilibrio di dolce, piccante, speziato e sapido: stinco al forno su riso con mandorle... da non lasciarselo scappare! noi e gli spagnoli abbiamo innaffiato tutto con Beirut beer una lager piacevole; non ho potuto consultare la carta dei vini. Peer terminare frutta, dolcetti mandorle miele e semi disusammo e il classico the alla menta.

Had a lovely meal on Saturday. The restaurant is very lively and the music and dancing was great. There was quite a party atmosphere. Service was excellent even though they were very busy and we enjoyed the complementary fruit for dessert. Will definitely be going back.

Wanting Moroccan/ Lebanese food for dinner I checked with TripAdvisor first. Close to my hotel and within walking distance was Sidi Maarouf. The hummus was smooth and wonderful along with the fresh and intense tabouli for starters. My daughter ordered cubed chicken that was cooked over the grill. I would love to get the marinade recipe from them! My wife and I split their Couscous Royal which was plenty. It was prepared with chicken, lamb, and vegetables and the right spices to make it memorable. This is a must visit restaurant for a truly tasty experience that will bring your senses to Morocco. The wine list was impeccable. Fruit and baklava topped off a very memorable meal. Thank you!

sidi Maarouf named in honour of the founder of the Maroush restaurant chain that rules middle eastern / lebanese cuisine in London is a fusion of Moroccan and Lebanese inspired dishes.they have tagines, cous cous dishes to show off the moroccan side and then stunning salads and grills which are a representation of Lebanese cooking.We ordered a mix of both worlds with moroccan harira soup and lebanese lentil soup both of which were delicous. for mains we had the lamb with prunes and almond tagine, grilled lamb chops and a mixed grill. baklava was given on the house. it was a late lunch and the place was quiet yet the staff were attentive and friendly as ever. I've been here every other time in the evenings where the place is full and there is live music and dancers..a truley enjoyable experience.this was the first time i came for lunch and it was a nice relaxed time with my friends.one of the best restaurants on the famous Edgeware Road

The food was absolutely delicious. We had Hommos to start which was very smooth served with plenty of bread. Then I had the Lamb Couscous Lahem and my partner had the chicken Tagine Badawi. Both were beautifully presented and had amazing flavour throughout. The serving staff were SO miserable though. Our waiter really didn't want to be there! Shame, as it spoiled what could have been a lovely meal!

Når vi sist var på denne Libanesisk/Marokanske resteuranten hadde de lokal mat med krydder og fantastiske smaker. Lokal vin fra Bekaldalen toppet d hele. Nå 2 år etter har nok kokken sluttet. Krydderet er borte, butter rice er borte. Kun tørr nan brød uten smak, mat med kjøpesenterkrydder ( saltet ihjel). Den lokale vinen kostet ikke lenger 400 NOK, men 900 NOK. Det var kun 2 typer vin på menyen og begge kostet d samme. Vi var 4 voksne som bestilte 4 forskjellige retter. Alt var som Tavernaen på Alvdal. Uspiselig. Ikke ødelegg en middagskveld her, med ihjelsaltet mat uten krydder, og kun viner over 900 NOK.

The food that came was so average would have rather have gone to local McDonald and the the worst thing is the prices aren't cheap for the food, starters came quick but the main took ages when they came they didn't come together and they had a live singer which I had no idea what he was meant to be! Plus I think they serve coke through plastic 2 liter bottles which was flat.... Overall if you want Arabic style food drive further 10 minutes and go anywhere in Dalston. Also their shisha is awful ordered Blue mist which I had hundreds of times burnt my throat and made me dizzy definitely not using original.

My family and I found this place during our last night of our visit to London. After walking around the neighborhood for a bit looking for a place to eat on a Sunday evening we decided to give this place a chance. We were surprised by our choice beyond any of our expectations. The service was excellent, the food was superb and we will most definitely be back on our next visit. My daughter had a ball at the end of the evening dancing with the belly dancer!

Not value for money at all. I expected better for that price. Quality and quantity was a let down.
