Hutchesons in Glasgow City

Having previously Hutchesons Hall when it was 1802, the team behind Saints has taken it to the next level, providing a much more relaxed and open environment. The food seriously surpassed expectations too. Took our team here before our Christmas Night out and ended up back the next day for brunch. Thanks team.

So happy to see this beautiful venue fully reopened. Stunning surroundings and lovely staff! Sampled their new brunch menu - highly recommend the Saints Stack!! - and even took a few of their pastries home with me. I’ll definitely be back, thanks guys!!

A wonderful spot for brunch! The cafe has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the staff are super friendly and attentive. The polenta and bacon were delicious. The charm of the place really makes it stand out. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Cameron is the best bartender. Makes the whole bar shine, I would come back for his banter and the great cocktails he made. Great music being played. Will definitely be regulars.

Sometimes you visit places where the staff is friendly, sometimes it's a bit more. But here we came in and it felt like meeting friends! They are so lovely and they take time to know their costumers! Every cocktail they prepare is an artwork, carefully studied how to present it and that the taste is perfect! I'd recomand it to everyone!

Drinks were amazing! Didn’t have much to eat other than some few sides/nibbles which were great and the olives were outstanding. The service we had was absolutely superb and would especially like to shoutout our server on the night, Camron, who was extremely polite and was constantly checking in on us, couldn’t recommend him enough :)

Just had the high tea and it was excellent, the tiny cakes on the top of the tier were 🤤 we both highly recommend. Looked after by Cameron who delivered first class customer service with a down to earth demeanor. Nothing was a bother, a wee tip is to ask him to take pics of you to capture the moment as he is fantastic at that. Smiley faced, attentive and easily approachable, chatting about music etc. Thank you for making our day fantastic! 👏👏👏

I was taken here for my birthday dinner. Sophie, Cameron, Chloe and Riley looked after us for the evening - the service was genuinely out of this world. Staff were, lovely, friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were INCREDIBLE and we will definitely be returning.

The grilled sea bass was delectable! Staff were very accommodating.

Hmm. A quick but charming run through of all the things that were unavailable: olives and anchovies… really? They’re in tins. Well cooked food, nice enough but meagre portions given costs of ingredients. Six small slices of pork belly for £20? Huge mark up on wine. Better places in a short walk away.

Was an afternoon lunch so not much atmosphere . , but the food and service was very good..

We visited here after purchasing an itison voucher. The place isnt the same as when it was a steak place. It's rundown and dirty inside... womens toilets - 3 cubicles. 1 was locked, 1 was overflowing post flush and the third had no lock on it - so essentially had a peep hole. Doesnt look like they hire a cleaner. The food was small in portion size and they forgot the 3rd course so after waiting 25 minutes for ice-cream we cancelled it! I couldn't recommend this place to anyone. The staff were very welcoming and did their best but the food was not worthy of the price tag. We paid extra for the scallops which, when arriving were really fishy they didn't smell too healthy. The pasta was so bland and the prawns had purple veins running through them. Was really off putting. We both ended up with an upset stomach too. We spent in total over £100 as we also ordered a bottle - which the staff brought to the table to show us but then said they couldnt open it so had to take it to the kitchen for the chef to open.. Just bizarre. I'd be surprised if the place lasts much longer.

Rebuilt in the year 1802, was a hospital and then a school for poor boys. Surprised I didn't end up there myself. Nice coffee, nice room, nice staff.

A quiet intimate restaurant with delicious food and lovely staff. My only downside with the food was that there wasn't enough of it.

Fantastic food in a stunning venue. The upstairs dining area is so beautiful, set in a historic building with high ceilings and a striking bar. Our dinner was delicious, we enjoyed a sea bass dish and prawn linguine, and we tried a couple of excellent cocktails. It's a bit on the pricey side but we thought it's totally worth its value and great for a special occasion.

In today for afternoon tea with my wife, Christmas present. Food lovely, staff so friendly and helpful. Building was so beautiful inside, a definitely will have a lot more visits. Was given a small tour of the first floor restaurant, absolutely breathtaking. Well done to all concerned.

Great place but my wife was not happy with the staff.

Great staff and lovely drinks. The issue was when we came in and ordered drinks the waiter said "Ill get you your drinks and bring you some nuts". These were pretty disgusting and stale, but it was fine under the assumption they were free. Saw at the end we had been charged £4, which is £4.50 with the mandatory service charge. Its not really about the money. You don't want to feel tricked into buying something you didn't want in the first place.

A classy restaurant set in a gorgeous building. Perfect to impress a date, or a business client in the city. We went on a Sunday and i had the Sunday Roast. It was amazing! We ordered: Water Melon Cocktail and a Mojito. King Prawn Linguine. Sunday Roast Beef. Lemon Posset. We visited here on an invite to make content for our channel, The Olive Tree Family. Lovely atmosphere and amazing food. The staff was amazing. The venison carpaccio was to die for. We had a fab night.

Staff were friendly and polite. Decor and building lovely. Food was tasty but too little . I had cod . It came with 4 thin slices of fried potato topped with a small spoonful of greens topped with a piece of cod which was about 2 inches by 2.5 inches. Looked more like a starter! I mentioned it when I paid the bill. My husband's venison was served luke warm on a cold plate. We mentioned this to waiter ,not as a complaint really as it tasted good ,but more as a helpful observation. Sadly I wouldn't be recommending this restaurant as value for money.

The best by far 'proper' whiskey sour I've had in a long time! Fabulous staff, decor, history and drinks!

Had dinner here on a Tues night. Our waiter and bartender were great! I had mushroom risotto and Parmesan salad while my husband had the duck. Everything was delicious, including the dessert! Building and atmosphere are wonderful. Would definitely come back!

The American gentleman and his colleague served us on Saturday 2 September and delivered a fab experience with "bartender's choice" options and lots of knowledge, passion and welcoming atmosphere the moment we stepped foot into the bar. We perched ourselves at the bar and watched them whip up cocktails for hours! Anyone visiting Glasgow must visit 1802!

Amazing building, stunning inside, attentive wait & bar staff. My food was well presented. We were the only people (2) in the dining room on a Saturday night hence the 3 stars

The place has a great atmosphere for a drink and have a date chat. The service was great. We were disappointed about the food. For the price we pay I would expect the meat to be a proper cooked temperature and generally the food to have a flavor. We had octopus and venison for our main course and both dishes were a disappointment.

Was excited about trying the restaurant since re-opening. The whole experience was a bit underwhelming unfortunately.

Every single dish we ordered was special and delicious at fine dining level. We were very pleasantly surprised.

I had the pleasure of dining here with some friend last-night , we enjoyed everything that was put in front us . The food was nothing short of amazing and the chefs went out their way to adapt some items to our intolerances like the monk fish with earl grey glaze ( Stunning ) . The wine list caters to everyone and is very fairly priced ; The service and atmosphere is perfect for dining out with friends or for something more intimate. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for good food and solid drink options and one more big shout out to the staff who are absolute amazing at what they do . I will definitely be back !

Be careful when reading these reviews, as the old Hutchesons reviews are embedded within this. Service was mediocre. The waitress didn't know what the menu offerings were on the market menu. Our food was brought out without cutlery - rather than make this a priority, the hostess instructed someone else to sort it leaving us sitting staring at our food. It wasn't particularly busy so there was no reason for service to be soo poor!

Closed for too long. Ordered an ‘old fashioned’ cocktail. Made by Jack. Superbly done. Only gave 3 for atmosphere because it’s quiet so it would be remiss if me to say otherwise. Not eaten here yet; decor great, service great, cocktail great. Will be back.

What an amazing place! Great atmosphere with delicious food. The kimchi potatoes were absolutely lovely as was the aubergine stack. Who knew vegetables could be so elevated and tasty! The staff were great. Miguel and his colleagues were very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drink they serve. My new favourite place to visit next time I’m in Glasgow.

Solo una revisión rápida, fui con mi esposa, ya que teníamos un cupón de 80 dado por mi hija como parte de nuestra Navidad, por lo que reservé un domingo a las 5 p.m., mi esposa estaba buscando un asado del domingo pero me dijeron que terminó a las 5 p.m. y me dieron el menú con básicamente bistec, o pescado para elegir, no era lo que queríamos, pero optamos por un bistec para mi esposa y yo comimos pescado. Debo decir que mi bacalao era delicioso y el bistec de mi esposa estaba bien, pero tal como lo habíamos pedido, un par de asados salieron a la mesa cerca de nosotros, así que no creo que hubiera sido difícil agregar otros dos. órdenes, de todos modos podría haber sido algo bueno ya que vimos que dos asados fueron enviados de vuelta. Nous sommes allés dîner en couple dans ce restaurant au cadre impressionnant.La qualité était au rendez-vous : très bonnes huitres en entrée, une viande parfaitement cuite et une assiette de fromages écossais que nous sommes partagés, le tout arrosé de quatre verres de vins.Le service était parfait pour une addition d'environ 140 euros.Un excellent rapport qualité prix compte tenu du lieu, du service et de la qualité des plats.Je recommande.

From start to finish this couldn’t have been a better experience. Having bought vouchers for one of the sister restaurants, I had to contact the restaurant via email where the manager Emma was ever so helpful and kind in organising their use at Hutchesons. It was for my wife’s birthday and like a lot of men - I didn’t listen. I’m so glad it all worked out as our three course Sunday Roast was phenomenal. The staff were very attentive but not overly so, insisting on taking all our jackets, always topping up our water, getting another round of drinks, clearing tables and checking on our enjoyment of each dish - it was like clockwork. There was no pressure to eat and beat it - I was very impressed. In terms of food I thought the Mushroom and Truffle Oil soup was outstanding with lovely, thick-sliced, fresh bread to accompany it which set me up nicely for the main dish - a beautifully presented Roast Rump of Scotch Beef. Perfectly cooked through with nicely glazed vegetables, roast potatoes, a cracking, big, crispy Yorkshire pudding and a lovely smooth gravy boat which was more than enough for each plate. Dessert was a sticky toffee pudding - highly recommended along with the creme brûlée. My wife’s had a little ‘happy birthday’ message made out of chocolate which was a nice touch.We aren’t the kind of people to shout about special occasions when out but having mentioned in the email about my wife’s birthday I did notice that the staff were aware of it and acknowledged it off their own accord - simple things make the biggest impression.Also, I didn’t get the names of any of the staff sadly but the girl with the more wavy/curlier blonde hair of those that were working was superb! She was really efficient, pleasant and made our visit that bit more enjoyable - thank you all round! We will definitely be back ... and soon!!

We arrived at about 5pm without a booking but the place with quite quiet and we were shown to a table. We both commented on how dim the lighting was, atmosphere is one thing, having to use a mobile torch app to see the menu is quite another!My husband opted for half a dozen oysters @ £1 each - a Friday evening deal. I ordered the mushroom and truffled brioche with duck egg. Three oysters were placed in front of Hubbie, he had to ask for the other three which were delivered quickly, and all were dispatched equally quickly with gusto! My starter was delicious if a little miserly. For mains I ordered whole lemon sole and Hubbie ordered monkfish and then we waited, and waited whilst the restaurant got darker and darker.When my fish finally arrived it was overcooked and the fish had the consistency of cotton wool, the monkfish was okay but perhaps not the freshest piece of monkfish in Glasgow that day. I should have sent my fish back and I am annoyed with myself that I didn't. I ate less than half of it and pointed out to the server it was overcooked.We ordered espresso and asked for the bill. The server said she had taken off the cost of the oysters off the bill and hadn't charged for the espressos as a goodwill gesture, we paid the bill and left.When we got to a venue where there was adequate lighting we realised we had been charged for nine oysters and refunded for six!!!Hutchesons, please put that money towards paying your leccie bill and switch on another couple of lights.

Un miembro del personal finalmente se disculpó y ofreció una bebida a todos los miembros del grupo. Después de 20 minutos de espera, nos fuimos. Al salir, hablé con un miembro del personal para expresar mi decepción. Me entregaron una tarjeta con una dirección de correo electrónico y me dijeron que me pusiera en contacto con ellos si quería "algo gratis". Ese no era mi punto. Telefoneé al restaurante y hablé con alguien que se disculpó y le dije que lo buscaría y me enviaría un correo electrónico con el resultado. No ha habido comunicación de ellos. We were so looking forward to our visit but we’re very disappointed. Poor service, bland starters and steak with the butchers twine still left on. Overpriced and under delivered. Would definitely not go back or recommend 😫

The restaurant and food were brilliant, firstly the welcome we got was very welcoming by Gary the bar manager, he escorted us to the restaurant upstairs. We were seated and Ross the waiter served us throughout the night, his table skills we're superb, the food was to die for, steak I had was perfectly cooked and my wife's lobster was huge and she loved it. The building itself is stunning both inside and outside. We definitely will be back.

Never before have I been so pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. The ceiling cornicing was breathtaking. Rarely do you get to dine in such a beautiful building. I’ve noticed a few one star reviews, which are absolute nonsense!!! Please do not be discouraged by unreasonable people. I’ve worked in restaurants for over 15 years and some people just do not realise how difficult it can be to ensure the smooth running of restaurant. Hutchesons, in my opinion, did an outstanding job! Very impressive. As for the food. My husband and I both agree that our meal last night was in our top 3 most delicious meals we’ve ever had. Melt in the mouth. You could taste every flavour on the plate. Absolutely outstanding. Our server Ross was great. Lovely chatty guy and very hardworking. We also had the assistant manager and general manager come over to thank us for our compliments of the food and of Ross. Too often people are too quick to complain and point blame for the most trivial of things. I am only too happy to leave amazing feedback when we’ve had such an amazing experience. We’re already planning on going back and would highly recommend Hutchesons to all of our family and friends!

I dined with a group of friends colleagues. The restaurant is large but the tables and the seats are uncomfortable. The service was confused and insufficient. We were served fish ( monkfish) and scotch chateubriand, a filet, all at same time with a fixed side dish ( a few fried potatoes).

Great service - thank you Mirin! Ribeye was perfect - too many gins and vodkas to choose from! (Not a problem!!)

We had the most amazing valentines meal here. We shared monkfish and a Chateau and the food was phenomenal. Service was the best we had in Glasgow, particularly Hayley who gave the best recommendations . We cannot wait to come back

We booked a deal through 5 p.m., a table for 2 at 7:00 p.m. We arrived early at 6:40 p.m. and didnt expect to be seated. We checked in and waited in the coctail bar, We were offered cocktails (twice) but hadddn't planned to have any. 7 pm came and went. Despit being in clear view of the booking clerk, and the only people waiting, nobody offered any update on when we might be shown to our table. At 7:10 pm, still no communicatiion, so we approaced the booking clerk and informed her we would be eating elsewhere. She didn't seem to care.

We dined at Hutchesons on Thursday night for my best friends birthday, the whole experience was exceptional from start to finish.

Great food. Superb service. Try the cocktail! Want to return soon. I highly recommend the Smoked Haddock Espuma, the flavour was just superb. For main my steak was perfectly cooked. Service was friendly and prompted. Can’t recommend enough. Xx

It was a lovely meal in a wonderful setting. Unfortunately the experience was a bit mitigated by a problem with the bill. There was an error in which we were overcharged by a third, and when we politely pointed this out, the bill was removed to check. Eventually we had to ask again about the bill and were handed the correct bill (after half an hour of waiting) with no acknowledgement or apology for the mistake. The delay meant we missed the start of our film. A lovely meal apart from that.

The decor is beautiful although lighting needs to be on a bit more to actually read the small print of what the dish entails on the rather large menus. Not the food choices but the actual paper it’s written on!

I visited On Saturday 1st of February 2020 and was my third visit and Unfortunately was by far the worst of my three visits

Loved this place. From beginning to end, great, service, food and cocktails. They differentiate well between those looking for a more formal experience and, us, who were looking for a more relaxed approach.We were served by Waheed, who was an absolute addition to the day. The food was fantastic, and have to highlight the Espuma of haddock, fabulous. We went to the cocktail bar after the lunch and the fabulous service continued. Also superb cocktails. Highly recommend this restaurant .

we visited the restaurant and found the place to be terrific. We were waited on by Waheed an exceptional gentleman who cared for our every need The food was excellent as was the restaurant itself. Really enjoyed it and one to revisit

Depressing...Almost seams like an understatement. Visited this place with my fren last Saturday and I have to be honest we wish he had got a chippy instead. The food was at best average and the price we paid for it we were expecting something great, but I'm afraid that wasn't the case. Do not order any of the signature cuts, they are a rip off!

Where to start? Beautiful room but ambient it’s not! Because of the accoustics, the first thing that hit me was the noise. Loud music and chatter. The bar downstairs was more quiet! Tables are very close together meaning you can hear every word from your neighbour better than you can hear your dining partner which stunts conversation. The waitress had difficulty hearing. We ordered Melon and Feta - tiniest portion and Seafood soup which was basically a clotted cream effort with bisque on the side. Main issue with this was the langoustine plopped on top. Obviously it had to be removed from the bowl to extract meat from shell. There was no implement to crack the shell so my hands ended up covered in gloop, while fighting with a hearty crustacean - and yes I’m very familiar with languostines. It was tasty enough but not worth the £14 we lost on it. Next came Chateubriand and a whole lot of confusion over what sides were included. I chose mash and garlic onions. We requested it to be cooked medium. It was rare. It was also the toughest piece of fillet I’ve ever had. The mash was really not pleasant and the mushrooms were definitely not fresh. The sweet was not much better. Because of the noise, the server mistook ‘Cheese cake’ for ‘cheese board’. I’d say this restaurant is trying to be upmarket in price but all it’s achieving is pretentious. I’ve had better steaks in a cafe. Doubt we’ll be back.

Superb place for lunch. Fantastic venue with bags of class and style. If you are lucky enough to be served by Waheed then you will be treated like Royalty.

We have been eating here for about two years. Mainly special occasions because if you aren’t getting a deal the steaks can add up but that’s expected for steak. Would say it’s no more expensive than other steak places. The service has always been great, even in instances where the steak was over cooked. No questions or disagreements it was just taken away and replaced. That has only happened once. If you can get a deal then go for it because the quality doesn’t go down. Lovely place looking forward to many more steaks from here

We had to wait 15mins for our reservation while the table was made perfect - when we got there, there was a dirty glass, champagne arrival wasn’t there, were told that our starters would be arriving in five minutes without a drinks order even being taken. The food was average at best when we did receive it. Cuts of steak weren’t as we were led to believe (having paid for more expensive ones). Second time here and wouldn’t go back following this experience

We came here for the Bubbles Brunch... unfortunately they'd run out of prosecco, which we couldn't quite believe. They did offer to let us upgrade to the champagne package at a cheaper price but it was still too pricey for us so we just decided to order separately off the menu.

Visited with friends for pre dinner drinks and was not disappointed. Well decorated and able seating. Drinks selection is really good and the cocktails are fabulous! Would happily return and would like to try the food too.

Had a lovely steak, cooked to perfection. Nice atmosphere and perfect temperature within the restaurant. Our server Waheed was very attentive, making a special effort to engage with us and certainly added to our dining experience. We look forward to our next visit!

We came for the Steak but will most certainly return because of Waheed our server. He was the most polite and attentive waiter we could have asked for. Cared about the customer shared jokes and was always willing to help and accommodated us amazing.

I attended at Hutchesons for a retirement dinner with 20 other family members. It was simple to book and organise the food and wine prior to attending and on arrival everything was taken care of. The service was exceptional!!! And the day went without a hitch !!. The food was also exceptional and not one of us had any complaints. They even boxed up my retirement cake for me to safely take home !! The restaurant is gorgeous and I would say if your planning an event or large family dinner your guests will be impressed !! I know all my family were !! Anyway thanks so much Hutchesons and I will be back !!

We booked a meal for 2 for just after Christmas after visiting for breakfast a month or 2 ago which was lovely but left very disappointed for a number of reasons. Some of them were minor things but when added to everything else the whole experience was pretty poor and it seemed like every time we asked for something there was some sort of mistake made.

Building is beautiful inside and out but that is the only good thing. We were 5 mins early for our reservation so we're made to wait 15mins which was fine until we went upstairs and realised there was only 3 other tables being used. Why make us wait if there is pleanty of tables? It took 20mins to get our food ordered (had to flag down a server) and then took half an hour for soup starters to be served. No one came at any point in the meal to offer extra drinks, the food was mediocre and the waiting times were rediculous. We had to follow staff about to ask for our jackets back and then we were taken up a back corridor to find them ourselves because they had lost them. We couldn't find them either so instead of taking us down to look for them we were sent down on our own and couldn't find any members of staff. We eventually found them on our own after rummaging around in the back (Not challenged by anyone). Not impressed at all, will not be back.

Very disappointed as this is my 2nd visit and the 1st was lovely. This was our office Xmas evening meal and the table was booked for 8pm. We were not seated until 8.35pm. The table was bare... no festivities crackers or colourful table ware. It was a very cramped table seating for 14 ppl. Service was poor and disjointed. Ppl had to wait considerable time for starters and mains. At £37.99 per head the menu was overpriced and not good value although the presentation of the food was nice. I had cod mash potatoes and kale which was a very basic main but the vegetarian/vegan options were limited. My Greek salad starter had only one olive a few red lettuce leaves, 4 cubes of feta cheese and a few candied walnuts in a very uninspiring bowl with no dressing. Drinks were overpriced pomegranate mock tail £5 each which was ok but half filled with crushed ice! The mulled berry cheesecake was served by itself looking very unappetising.

We had our friends' Christmas night out here and were throughly impressed. The bar is very nice and staff are welcoming. The meal in the restaurant was excellent and the festive menu was creative and classy. We eventually moved to the lounge area for cocktails. The lounge decor was elegant and quirky and we found the staff throughout the venue to be professional and friendly. We hadn't expected to remain in the same venue for the whole evening but we found Hutchesons offered a full night out in one and we had no reason to leave. A great place with excellent service.

Sorry to say, we were disappointed. Seated us right beside your service desk in an otherwise pretty empty restaurant. The starters were ok, but your turkey dinner main was bland and the turkey joint was quite tasteless really. We each ordered Earl Grey tea which was served in one pot which was not large enough and inside it contained one tea bag! For 2 people? My friend lifted one of the teaspoons and said it was not acceptable - she was right - perhaps you could purchase some new ones. And finally, it was a bit chilly in the restaurant and we were both well wrapped up for this weather. Last week I lunched in The Corinthian and it was perfect.

Wow just want to say 10/10 for Food & Fantastic Service at Hutchisons tonight it’s made our Christmas night out a pleasure. Gabriele was so accommodating & the best service we have ever had when visiting so thank you so much! Look forward to our next visit

On a recommendation booked for a pre theatre meal for two. The interior is worthy of a mention, quite a spectacle. The staff were attentive and very pleasant. Wine choice in our price range was very limited and we were disappointed in our choice, which was based on price unfortunately. Starters were very good, no complaints there. For my main I ordered cod and my husband the steak. From the outset my meal was barely lukewarm, I started to eat it but decided to ask them to heat it up. It came back still lukewarm, such a shame because it was well presented and the fish was well cooked. My husband was disappointed in his steak, rather chewy and the garlic butter being cold didn't enhance the steak which he also felt was lukewarm. To us it appeared the food had been sitting waiting to be served. Such a shame it has put us off going back.

Wasn't impressed. Tables very close together, we were a couple enjoying a nice dinner then had two clearly drunk men sat next to us. Not a nice experience. Food OK but toilets not so nice. For the price, would have been happy with better service too as they don't seem to care when you wish to pay. Paid less and had better. Won't be back.

We had travelled up from down south to meet some of our Glaswegian friends at this beautiful establishmen. The food was good quality if not a little on the pricey side but once we had started are culinary journey we were pretty much forgotten about and we all said at they end that if the service had been better we would probably have spent more money. Its a shame that so many restaurants now seem to be run with little or no management presence, leaving staff to fend for themselves, which usually means talking to one another or playing on mobile devices instead of serving customers

Visited Hutchesons for a brunch as it was one of the few places I could find online that could guarantee a cooked breakfast at a slightly later time. Reserved a table using their very user-friendly online booking system and despite being slightly late showing up this wasn't a problem for the staff.

We have been here in the past and never had any issues, but this time was very poor. We arrived and asked if we could take a table for some drinks, the bar staff said they would check with someone who was upstairs and gave us a drinks menu to look over. We waited at the bar for around fifteen minutes being completely ignored by bar staff who also didn't look particularly busy. Eventually someone came back and said we could sit at a table that was free. We again sat for another fifteen minutes with nobody coming back to take drinks order. Additionally the bar had a terrible smell from I think blocked toilets. We not surprisingly left and doubt we will go back, very disappointed after actually positive previous visits. Some issues to sort I would say.

Beautiful architecture, food was excellent my only quibble would be that there is far too many tables and chairs squashed into the restaurant I felt I had little room to move, plus our table was tiny so had little room for anything other than my plate!

Food excellent, wine list very poor 👎 Great establishment and vibe but the wine list is what you would expect in a Pizza Express restaurant. Very disappointing. Not for you if you are in to good vino!

Had a wonderful meal here with my boyfriend, everything was perfect! Food was cooked to perfection. Lauren was so friendly and always topped up our wine when she noticed the glasses emptying! Will definitely be back!!

Just back from a fantastic dinner here. Ox cheek corned beef to start and the confit duck terrine both excellent, steak cooked to perfection and the lamb shank special fell off the bone. Brilliant cocktails and great wine as well. Beautiful setting and atmosphere. Special thanks to Kayleigh for looking after us so well. Would definitely return and recommend! Thanks for a great night

We celebrated our 10th wedding annivesary here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our waitress was very attentive and knew about the history of the stunning building which interested us. The food was delicious, particularly the chateaubriand and as it was a special occasion we were given a complementary glass of fizz and a cup cake with congratulations written in chocolate, which was very kind. We'll definitely come back.
