I come to visit family from Devon. This is the second time I have been here and the food is fantastic,friendly and helpful staff. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to visit family again.

Stopped off for lunch and had a lovely meal with my family. The staff were very polite and met all our needs. If we're in this area again, we shall stop here for another great meal.

We visit the New Inn regularly and enjoy all elements of the establishment. We seem to have Sue serve us on a regular basis and her warmth and attentiveness make our visits special. The food is served in good time even when it’s busy. There are always deals to be had.

I had a steak... it was delicious. Perfectly cooked. Cheesy chips were lush, according to a friend. The service was prompt, and polite. The waitress kirsty was really friendly. Decor was fresh and welcoming.Will definitely return for seconds.

The new inn is a great local to have, staff arr friendly and very helpful. I'm always greeted with a smile.

We visit every week for lunch and the welcome from Lewis, Milly and all the team is always warm and friendly. Food is well cooked and portions are generous with a good sized menu providing plenty of choices. It is ideal for families and the bar is excellent. Excellent value for money and a huge car park makes visiting easy.

I had the mix up sizzlers and had rump steak and asked for medium it was cooked to perfection Connor the chef cooked it was amazing and the service was very good by Kiara checked that my meal was ok I have been before and will recommend you to all my friends and family the service was next none very friendly and very welcoming as well well done to all staff sorry I only had 2 names but your staff are outstanding. Thank you from the bottom of my heart I will be returning the food is great.

Me and sisters often meet up every couple on months, find the new inn comfortable reasonably priced and staff are always courteous, we can have our chats privately in a booth or wat h sport whilst we eat and chat

I've been coming to the New Inn for over 10 years now. They have a pub quiz every Thursday and the staff are so lovely and wonderful! There is an over 18s section for the sport, darts and a pool table so it's great there is a family section too. Always excited for Thursday nights 😊 Everyone working there, you are amazing and thank you! Chicken stripes are the best!!!

We came in unannounced as a party of 20, the staff were amazing and accommodated us with ease. The food was hot and delicious and all served at the same time which was a mission on its own. We had the loveliest lady called Sue, who served us with out any issues. She was amazing, friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. Well done to you all but a massive thank you once again to the marvelous Sue. Would definitely recommend the pub.

I eat here every Sunday for dinner, the staff are very polite and friendly. The service they give is absolutely amazing 🤩, very customer friendly. I also did Christmas Day here and the steak 🥩 was amazing! If you live a steak, this is the place for you.

Food was awful! Came here for a middle point for a family meal and the food was almost inedible! The full Monty mixed grill was so dry that no one ate it, the steaks were over done and needed to be sent back, it came with no pineapple on the plate either! The best part of the meal were the soft drinks! They also can’t serve a Guinness in the correct glass or leave it to settle! Definitely won’t be coming back.

UPDATE... We visited again on Father's day and it would appear that there is now a regular quiz night on Sundays, we have now been subjected 3 times over the last couple of months. If it is your thing then go on a Sunday, but it is not ours. We will not be going back again on Sundays, it is impossible to have a family meal with the volume of the quiz host. A great meal here, really good price and fresh well cooked food, nothing special, but good value for money. We took advantage of the eat out scheme and had a 50% reductions. Well worth a visit.

Good food cheapest beer in Farnborough excellent quiz on a Thursday night albeit there are some staff who take it too serious... family fun for all.as 1 person plays everyone has to on your table... £3.pp and then a couple of other optional games around £1 each

Great place to have a reasonably-priced drink. A big plus is the separate bar dedicated to over-18s only.

Just had Sunday lunch and wow the lamb shank just fell off the bone. Really recommend the New Inn for a Sunday lunch, relaxing and a great atmosphere

Twice we have come here and twice been told no scampi and no fish and chips. Sunday we ordered a roast dinner. WOW it was disgusting Deep fried potatoes the are called roast potatoes, frozen veg, potatoes also come out of the bag and were frozen and dipped in a fryer. My 84 mother asked for a knife and fork and was told to walk over to an area which had cutlery. She had Turkey and it was reformed Turkey she said it was like spam. My son and I had leather beef better off being a liner for my trainers. Staff were rude the barmaid was frowning at us when we ordered drinks .. Shame on you New Inn as some of the other franchises have better service

Don't ever order steak here, absolutely dreadful, steak came out with charcoal on top and was turned upside down in the hope I didn't see it. Sent back but came out pretty bad again, don't waste your money

Stopped here for a pint after work. Pub had a curry deal on so ordered. Staff were polite and extremely attentive. The young lady who served me, Alana, was calm, polite and very well presented. Overall a good experience. Thank you New Inn and staff. Jack Engineering lecturer.

Visited this local gaf on a whim as it's on my way home from work. Given I stopped for a pint I have to say in this day and age the service and atmosphere was phenominal. Felt like a local, with the staff and punters, was made to feel very welcome. Made another visit on a weekend with the family and again very well looked after, my wife's a vegan and was accommodated to with a separate menu and knowledgable floor staff who made sure our needs were met. Will definitely frequent more often when we get a chance. Food was fantastic Staff were accommodating. Been a while since I've seen a local thats well managed.

I have been to this pub many times as I love the food and the very friendly staff. I can recommend the sea bass with garlic mash or any of their sizzlers. You won’t be disappointed.

Rough and ready. Food always poor quality here BUT it has air conditioning / heating 365 days. It's always quite cold but ok in summer months (take a sweater). The sister pub in Farnborough has no noticeable air-conditioning as the windows and doors always left open but the food is much much much much better.

I turned up on a whim. Ordered the Steak, medium, not expecting much. Boy was I wrong. The Rump turned up trimmed and cooked to perfection! Much more like a sirloin in texture and taste. Full marks to the chef. Try it!!!!

Went in for a late lunch today. Service was very slow as there only appeared to be one person working. The food seemed slow to appear, especially the desserts. The food wasn't anything special either. But I guess you get what you pay for as it's fairly cheap. It felt like whoever was working in the kitchen had lost interest or pride in the food they were putting out. Bit disappointing all round, really.

Had a visit with a friend for dinner the food was really nice for the price well worth a visit. The bar staff along with the waiting staff are lovely and polite can’t wait to return

So we do love eating here it's a nice restaurant pub but is quite overpriced

went today at lunchtime around noon, My husband ordered HAM egg and chips ,what the meat was I dont know but Ham it was not! the chips were dry and the egg looked like it had been around all morning, I had ordered lasagne with salad, the lasagne was hard and stuck to the dish the salad was so wet and limp. the lasagne seemed like it had been in the microwave and reheated, the young server said she would take it back to the kitchen and get it changed, after a wait we decided to leave as I was feeling sick ,which I was when we got home. Terrible food, I ran my own restaurant's by the coast and if I had served food like this I would soon have closed down, now we are both retired and in our 70s we cant afford to leave food or be made to feel unwell because of it. I will o course contact the head office to make an official complaint this was the new inn at Hawley, we haven't been here for quite a while and can see why

Went here for my parents 55th Anniversary meal. Seated 14 of us together no problem. Good food. Bought out quickly. Nice and hot. Good selection and very reasonably priced. Especially with the NHS discount!

Booked for 9 people over the phone, when we got there we was told there are no tables. Staff have a bad attitude and wasn’t even interested in resolving the issue that they had caused.

As a carer accessing the community with a client,the new inn is a firm favourite place to dine out for the food ,atmosphere snd especially the service inperticularly waitress SUE who goes above and beyond each week with her delightful and hardworking attitude, often under pressure as busy but is totally courteous, competent and professional, a true asset to the new inn at hawley !!!

We went for a lovely meal yesterday about 7 o’clock in the evening. We had some wonderful food and great service. Our server was sue She was very nice friendly accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Sue is asset to your team. The whole team is absolutely marvellous wonderful.

Had ultimate combo for two people with an abundence of scampi....if you call 4 scampi an abundece between two people your having a laugh.
