Went here for a meal after returning from a week's holiday which we always do if possible unfortunately they are now closing earlier and often they are closed when we return, so disappointing as we really enjoy our meals there. As usual had a lovely meal 😋 staff as usual were great friendly helpful and cheerful, was very sad to hear that they are closing down soon, such a shame as it's a really lovely place excellent food, good quality, and very good price. Hope to call again before we lose you 😟 .

Went to hungry horse always every Tuesday and never fails to impress me. Staff are lovely, food was amazing and back again next Tuesday already looking for were to it

I can not understand this place, everyone else seems to be complaining about the lack of customers but here they are turning them away. The food was supposedly being served until 8pm but when we went at 7.15pm to find last food orders were 6.45pm. There was a steady stream of people going in to read the notice and then going to find somewhere else. When you do get to have a meal there the staff are not very helpful, if you ask for something like mushrooms with a steak, they say it doesen't come with mushrooms. Can I pay for a portion of mushrooms as you have other meals with mushrooms, no we can't put that through!

Arrived at seven oaks today (Sunday 30th July) for Sunday dinner and got turned away as their was no tables available for us due to bookings but their was loads of free tables and we phoned up the other day to book a table but apparently they arnt taking bookings so we questioned it and they only take bookings to an extent but I think the women ( manager) was talking rubbish she kept contradicting herself and we also says can we just see if tables become free and the women said yes but will take up to an hour but we would have to wait outside which is shocking when I had 3 young kids with me, I get seven oaks is closing really soon but no need for the way we got treated, absolutely discusting customer service.

The service throughout our visit was very good staff who wated on us where friendly and welcoming. The Food was good value for money and was hot Didn't have to wait too long for our food to arrive.

Called in at Teatime, always get a lovely welcome from Tori. Food lovely and good value for money. Still one of our favourite places in Cramlington to eat 😊

Fantastic food. Ordered the chicken parmigiana and fish and chips. Really good portion size if any it's a bit of a challenge for the chicken. Fish was nicely battered and all served really hot. Great choice for evening meal. 👌

Food was vile! Frozen onions and peppers that just tasted like frozen water. The chicken had been deep fried to death it lost its flavour. And the burger that looked home made was vile..for double bacon cheeseburger I had one cheese slice and one piece...

A visit to the seven oaks Cramlington is well worth the visit, relaxing atmosphere friendly staff, and fab food. Went here on Monday 4th October for lunch with friends food was excellent as usual & the staff are very friendly & helpful. Was dissapointed they are getting rid of the pensioners meal but still looking forward to see what’s on the new menu.

Outstanding food, perfectly cooked and delivered with a smile.I brought my father out for a meal and by God neither of us were disappointed. I ordered the steak and my father ordered the mixed grill and we both were extremely happy with what we got.The steak was cooked to perfection with a tasty portion of chips to accompany the steak. When I cut into the steak it sliced easily a tell take sign of perfection. It wasn't too filling but just nice. My father enjoyed his mixed grill commenting how tender and delicious it was.After our meals we ordered desert and we got a outstanding desert. My father enjoyed the apple crumble and custard and I devoured the ice cream Sunday.The Sunday was very sweet and just what the doctor ordered.Overall delicious food delicious atmosphere 10/10

All the staff are lovely, really polite and helpful. Food was good. Only down side is how cold the building is, I understand its a unit but I actually kept my coat on the whole time! Being cold inside makes your Food go cold quick aswell.

Came with my friend and her two children. We were told straight away what wasn’t available which is fine because it wasn’t what we wanted anyways. I didn’t place the order by app but the guy that served me was really friendly and repeated my order. Food came in a decent time and was nice quality. Portion sizes were good. Servers were friendly and very helpful, especially Tori.

On arrival, there was no mention of a delay on food, no mention of a delay when starters were delivered..When the starters arrived we asked for the rest of the main meals to come...After 30 mins still no food..We ordered at 5.35pm and our food sorted to arrive 6.30 just as we had to leave.Complained and got a refund on the food we didn't get buy charged for the drinks and starters we had...We left hungry and angry.....very dissapointed

Excellent customer service...lovely staff.. think their names were Tori and Alexa .. burgers were amazing!! There was a woman complaining about dressing when it clearly was a sauce and making such a fuss and the staff had so much patience...I wouldn't have had patience with that customer..was dealt with perfect. Always asking if we are ok and if our meal is ok... Never had any complaints about the food here and love the burger night on a Friday night.would definitely recommend!

Brought my little girl today to her favourite place for lunch. Was warmly greeted by lovely Lauren and we were sat down on a booth. Went and ordered our food and drinks at the bar was served by Lauren again. The food came out quickly a kids diy wrapper with chicken fillets and a big plate chicken finger kebab. We also got a candymania sundae to share as our free dessert. Lovely friendly service from Simon nothing was a bother. We will be back again soon. Thankyou all

Came to hungry horse around 7:30pm on the 27th. I’m a regular here so a lot of the staff know me by my name and I know them. I came with my mother to treat her to a big plate special and I was severed at the bar by a young lass who was very nice and made conversation which I liked, enjoying working and started 1 month ago she helped me as i don’t like the scampi on the combo starter so she was able to change that for me and josh which we called tigger cause he was cheerful and always had a bounce in his step gave us the food and was nice enough to ask if we needed anything else like other sauces etc. Rolly helped decide what alcoholic beverage to have when going back to the bar for another drink. So I would like to say perfect customer service and very family friendly and the food was perfect also couldn’t fault what so ever I will be coming back for more thank you - Rolly, Josh and the goodlooking lassy at the bar

We just wanted to go out for dinner without spending a fortune. We had fish and chips and steak and chips (the steak was a little “chewy” for my liking) so I wish I’d gone for the fish too! That said, the wine was very good value for money and we had a lovely evening and our server Tori was lovely and very cheerful and cared for all the customers needs.

Had a lovely time enjoying evening meals here while staying a week with friends. Tori is a lovely girl that made us very welcome. Highly recommend to anyone

Visited Monday just gone after doing some shopping for a bite to eat. Food came quickly and was very tasty. A lovely young person by the name of Lauren was our server, she was very warm, welcoming and provided excellent service. Will be visiting again soon.

Live in Newcastle but have property in Cramlington. The new View restaurant had opened next door and the place was busy.Bust in the Seven Oaks but got a lovely table.Staff amazing and place clean. Tuesday big plate specials for £6 each was a bonus .Neighbour had 3 gammon steaks, egg, pineapple, fries and onion rings on. I went for the NYC chicken. Very nice and plates cleared .

We arrived for a meal following a family trip to the cinema. The app didn't work correctly for us and we raised this. Lauren, our waitress, came to our table quickly and took our order. She was pleasant and very friendly. She brought our bill and then saw my blue light card and told us they did blue light discount She kindly redone our bill with the discount for us. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Thank you Lauren and team x

So today, around 11:30am the tummy timer started to rumble, ticking away reminding me that it was feeding time! After much pacing to and from the fridge, nothing would suffice grumbles ! Decided for me, the wife and the nanna would give it a blast here! Have to say it was spot on like ! Firstly we were greeted by the lovely and beautiful Lesley at the door, despite being abso chocker she quickly found us a table and got us so cold drinks as it was a bit George Michael ( thats a bit WHAM for you NON geordies) Food arrived very quickly and was lush ! Lesley assisted the table and was a pleasure to speak to! She worked her way around the restaurant like lewis hamilton on race day, she didnt her even take a pit stop, just roared on like a Mercedes Mclaren. The kids were well entertained and the place is kid friendly with machines to empty your purses in to for little toys. Food was finished with a bit desert, coz lets face it, theres always space for a bit ice cream and cake. Nanna tried the Golden years meal, for owa 60’s ya nah ! Even tho she looks 21 still, bit like Marilyn munro before it went doon hill for her, any who she demolished the lot like a big lass. Have to say i will deffo be back. The deals on the meals are cracken . Massive change from meals on wheels for the old gal. Just be polite and patient as the staff are still under massive pressure do to the aftermath of the pandemic but they go above and beyond to make you welcome

Bad service every one was walking around as if it’s dooms day. No atmosphere at all. Food was okay puddings were average the only person to smile was the chap on the bar.

Sunday beef roast cooked terribly and cheap veg. Frozen Yorkshire.. awful reheated mash in the microwave ..just unacceptable ..not worth the price ..was happy to get a refund

Booked a tablet on line. No problem. Arrived on time, taken to our tablet. Asked if we wanted table service or had the app. Asked for tablet service as I did not have my phone with the app on. That was the last I heard from the staff. Despite being told that staff would be there within a few minutes. Nobody ever appeared, plenty of staff walked by with no comments. Either ignored or did not see me when trying to get their attention. After 45 minutes walked out. Went to McDonalds, where staff at least were friendly, helpful and organised.

Will not be visiting here again. Decided to pop in here for a quick bite whilst out shopping. Entered the pub, sanitised our hands and wore our masks as required. We were the only people in the queue. Waited at the door for 15 minutes whilst being completely ignored by all staff. Obviously we made allowances for how difficult the current Covid situation is but actually the venue was not very busy. We weren't even acknowledged despite the staff walking past us about 20 times. Eventually a sour faced staff member came over and asked us to use the track and trace app. Neither of us have the app but said we would give our full names and contact details. The staff member then reached under the desk whilst tutting and slammed a tablet on the counter. Face was like thunder and barely looked at us. Decided we didn't want to stay as not a very welcoming place. I appreciate the current climate is stressful but it is stressful for us ALL. We were very polite and understanding but were met with absolute disdain. Won't be back even after things return to normal.

Pre Covid have had some good experiences of this pub. As a chain you expect cheap and cheerful but today wasn’t a good experience and therefore won’t ever come back. Service was slow from the moment we arrived where 2 different members of staff didn’t acknowledge our arrival at the “wait here to be seated sign”. Eventually a friendly member of staff acknowledged us and took us to a table explaining the one way system in place.We ordered the pizza family meal deal for £17 plus drinks. Before our order arrived we were prompted for immediate payment which begrudgingly I did. We were told it was now company policy because they had had too many people leaving without paying (having now tasted the food Incan understand why!). Our food arrived - chips were reasonable enough, chicken was 90% coating, 10% chicken and cold. Pizzas were tiny and I’ve had better from the frozen aisle in Aldi. The meat feast pizza was inedible with what could best be described as a spicy gravy sauce. After having just one bite I left it. Kids described the cheese pizza as nothing more than “OK”.Candyman desert was decent but having not eaten a main course I wasn’t interested in it. Kids enjoyed it tho.Thank god for my Peroni (albeit at £4.75) but I will be getting a take away on way home. £30 wasted and won’t return. At a time when Covid is devastating the hospitality industry only good pubs and restaurants will survive. RIP to this place.In fairness when clearing table Duty Manager asked how everything was and when said terrible he offered us free drinks which we politely declined.

First time coming for breakfast. Girl with dark hair front of house on the 17/09/2020 at 9:30. Worst customer service ever. Being a mouthy cow, complaining about us doing the track and trace, and then mouthing off around the bar slating us. She needs to keep opinion to herself and sort out her disgusting attitude

Were in the area on holiday with the family dog. This place popped up on a facebook advert so we thought we would give it a try for breakfast. Very well and efficiently dealt with , food quickly served and to a very good standard, reasonably priced even without the special offer that was on. Ticked all the boxes for us, so much so we returned the following day and had the same order.

Greeted and seated very quickly despite no reservation and social distancing in place with excellent signage. Great choice of food and fast service. All food hot and tasty and served by staff following Covid guidelines. Definitely felt safe and hygiene control was fantastic

Called in today and ordered the new spicey chicken pizza (big plate). It was very very hot but beautiful. The piri piri sauce that it is made with is the hottest i have had in a very long time.

Brilliant service from the moment we were came into the place. Came for daughters 14th birthday and the lady on the desk saved the day. Didn't book a table but she managed to squeeze us in. Lovely clean place all measures in place of social distancing in place. Outstanding service

really looked forward to a Sunday roast today after not booking a table anywhere the seven oaks had a table available so we took it . i ordered a beef sunday roast and it was disgusting!, the mash potato was yellow and had taken the shape of the container it had just been heated up in and then dumped onto my plate. the veg were cold and the roast potatoes were clearly frozen oven potatoes . the only thing i actually ate was the beef but then that was just edible .my daughter ordered the southern fried chicken burger , she ate part of the chicken but when the crispy coating fell off the chicken was coated in what can only be described as sticky goo . im annoyed at myself for paying for what was clearly frozen oven/microwaveable food .certainly not what you expect to be served in a restaurant

First time visiting back since the world stopped staff can’t be more helpful and the safety measures that they have put into place made us feel safe food was great watch out for the spicy chicken pizza sandwich it’s defo spicy

visited today for lunch. Staff were lovely and fitted us in as hadnt booked. It was eat out to help out so went for the chicken sizzler, should have been £10.99 each but was only £11 for 2, bargain! The chicken was awful and rubbery, the rice was cheap packet rice, the veg with the chicken was soggy. Didn't eat it. I can only hope when its full price a bit more effort goes into it, if I had paid £10.99 I would have demanded a refund.

I visited the seven oaks in cramlington with my family for food and drinks, I was met by a really lovely young lady called Alexa whom explained the rules of the establishment amid covid-19. We were seated fast condidering we had not booked and did not have to wait long for the food which was also a bonus, I would definitely recommend this place for food and drinks and I would also like to add a huge thank you to the lovely lady Alexa for all her help and recommendations on the menu, this lady is an attribute to your restaurant and a pleasure to meet.

Visited today for a spot of lunch whilst shopping, unplanned so hadn't booked but luckily they managed to fit us in which was excellent! The lovely lady, Alexa who was at the entrance sat us down and explained the minor changes and made sure we knew everything we needed to know! Food was delicious and served quickly, no long waiting! Always get a warm welcome here. Recently visited not long after reopening. Nice to see social distancing rules in place and enforced. Was nice to chat with Alexa, and shout outs to Tony and Michelle in the kitchen. Food was fantastic!

Visited on Tuesday 28/7/20 for a family meal. In one word, Outstanding. A one way system in place and the staff couldn’t do enough. Food served quickly and and hot. I tend to go for the bacon cheeseburger and this was the best I’ve had in ages, cooked to absolute perfection. My wife is gluten intolerant and there is a separate menu that catered for her needs. My daughter had the pizza and it was so fresh and packed with toppings. Would highly recommend.

Went for dinner today with husband and two young children and the staff were friendly, very helpful and explained there procedures they have in place.The app is great and easy to use which means when your seated you don't need to queue at the bar but that option is there also for people who don't want to use it. It was very clean, organised and felt safe. Well done.

Went for a meal on a saturday night. Lady there with no control of her 3 kids let them run riot whilst she finished her beers. The worst was a family who had set up camp there finished their meal then were allowed to buy lots more alcohol to the point one of the gentleman added up treating the young child there so badly they ended up sobbing. No control of alcohol sales to already rowdy customers.

Great service from all the staff! knowledgeable bar staff gave great recommendations on beer and ale selection, deal drinks were a nice surprise 2 bottles for £6 on tasty ales! Crispy chicken is my favourite dish always order it never disappoints would recommend hungry horse to anyone can’t beat it! Nothing is to much for the staff in here so attentive.

This is our favourite place to visit for a family catch up and we do it on a regular basis all the staff are friendly polite and helpful we always book a booth and have a favourite one near kitchen as it’s nice and quiet food is always delicious served quickly and we always look forward to eating here

Avoid with the plague bad customer service staff not interested in helping with family. No table service if you struggle with the app or getting tonand from bar ie wheel chair users or single parent with small children

Visited on a Friday before the cinema, had the 2 for 1 burger offer, the food was nice - and good value. The staff friendly- especially our waitress "Tori". In these places, you get what you pay for. We will return as handy for the cinema etc.

We called in for lunch today. The place was packed. Whilst ordering they did warn us that there was a 40 minute wait on food orders . It was a 40 minute wait but it was so worth the wait. Hot food, freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. The staff were working so hard they didn't seem under pressure at all. It was a easy flow. So keep up the good work. We will be back
