Huffkins in Stratford-on-Avon

Weekend in Stratford stopped for coffee and cake and wasn’t disappointed showed to our table and ordered downstairs at counter coffee was lovely lemon meringue eclair delicious and the bee sting was different but again delicious definitely return on our next visit .

We stumbled across Huffkins by chance as we were trying to escape the rain whilst waiting for check in at our accomodation. We were quickly seated and given reccomendations on what to order as we hadn't been before. The male assistant behind the till was so helpful and charming. It was lovely to see how much he enjoyed interacting with customers. I had a cream tea (substituted tea for coffee no issues) and my companion had a salad. Both were lovely and reasonably priced. We wanted to order takeout cakes when we ordered our eat in food, but we were told we could save 10% if we ordered after our meal, and we did so. It was a lovely touch that we were told about this saving. 4 cakes for £10 is an absolute steal for the quality. We will definitely return to Huffkins.

Great food and service, especially from Henry (he told me to say that). Would definitely return. And the Lardy cakes were divine.

It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with spacious seating, lovely food and great vegan options and friendly staff, would recommend to everyone.

Went to order,found it was card only but nothing to say so on door,could have been embarrassing if had food and went to pay had no card,and we had ordered at table walked out with out ordering any food your loss was someone else's gain should says on door before entering

Called in as we had spotted earlier in the day. Staff were friendly Ordered a southern chicken on cob- asked if the bread was wholemeal, answer was its granary. Hang on, when delivered it was just white ! I do not eat white bread. Chicken was very hard, salad ok, rustic crisps were just normal ready salted crisps. Would have sent back but needed to get back to car park. You guys can do much better. We are back visiting the cotswolds in April. We will not be going to any Huffkins. Expensive at £15 very disappointing, honestly felt like being robbed.

I thought that this place was a well recommended bakery so stopped at about 3.30pm on my way back through town to ask if they had any bread left to buy. As I was about to ask the person behind the counter a scowling middle-aged woman bore down upon me from the cafe area saying "takeaways only; we're not serving now". Ffs!! HOW RUDE! I told her that I had just come in to try to buy bread and she said "not until Friday" (today is Monday) I don't usually write reviews but that upset me so much that I have bothered to write this. A place to definitely avoid, I think - at least until that woman has left.

We ate lunch here today and whilst the food was nice its way over priced. I had eggs and bacon on sourdough (eggs well over done), tenner for soup etc. Little ones ham sandwich was wrong. Get what they are trying to do but for us, not great value

Visited this lovely cafe today in Stratford Upon Avon and I can not recommend it enough! The man who served us made us feel so special and important! The atmosphere was so relaxing and the rest of the staff working at the cafe were so friendly! I would highly recommend a visit to this little bit of heaven in wonderful Stratford! Food was great too!

Went for my birthday! The handsome young man (said he was pretty new to working there) that served me was so kind and helpful although he didn't know the answer to one of our questions he was happy to help and was so polite and considerate. What a pleasure to celebrate my birthday at Huffkins!

We went to Huffkins Stratford for brunch a few weeks ago. The place was so welcoming and had such a friendly atmosphere. It was also spotlessly clean. We had toasted sandwiches and cakes and they were absolutely delicious. The staff could not have been more helpful. I bought some of the chutney and passion fruit curd as it was so delicious. I have since returned and strongly recommend the coronation chicken sandwiches and coffee eclairs. The Victoria sponge is outstanding.

Staying in Stratford for the weekend and 4 of us popped in for breakfast . It was full but just timed it right for a table . Food was lovely and definitely recommend for breakfast .

We visited here at 3pm this afternoon, the waitress seated us at a table. We chose our food and I went to the counter to place our order. The waitress tells me they're not serving food anymore. She said, I'm sorry I probably should have told you that when you sat down. There were no time limits on the menu, some meals such as brunch said they were being served all day, so why weren't they serving food? So we got up and walked out. You wonder why people visit the big chains, it's because you walk in and you get what you came in for.

For the BEST Mocha in Stratford-Upon-Avon look no further than HUFFKINS. Undoubtedly better tasting Mocha than any other Coffee shop (ex. Starbucks, Nero, Costa) and I consider myself an Expert in drinking Mocha all over the world. Also they have the cleanest Toilets. Well done...

He visitado Huffkins hoy con mi pareja y 2 niños, muy bien organizado, el personal es muy amable, la comida estaba bien, pedí quiche Lorraine, pasteles de queso y cebolla, canutillos y un delicioso té de frambuesa y arándano. ¡Atmósfera placentera! ¡Lo recomendaré!

Almorcé aquí en un día en Stratford, que fue mucho más tranquilo de lo habitual debido a la crisis del virus corona. Hemos estado en Huffkins en Burford y Stow on the Wold y este restaurante es igual de agradable. El personal era agradable y simpático, el servicio era bueno y la comida deliciosa. Ambos tuvimos quiche con papas fritas y ensalada, quiche era encantador y cálido, muy sabroso. Otras comidas también se veían bien y los pasteles se veían geniales. Tampoco es demasiado caro teniendo en cuenta que está en el medio de Stratford.

Waitress service quick to take order 2 cappucinos and lemon cakes both lovely, Saturday it was busy they forgot our cake as I had to go and ask we got 2 pieces nice touch! Went in with my boyfiend and we would go back nice atmosphere music on in background Michael Buble so I was happy a nice get away on a really cold day.
