always have a lovely experience, the one drawback is that it can get quite crowded as it is only a small establishment, but they do have downstairs seating and outside seating as well.

Have been here several times and the coffee and hot chocolates are very good. The cakes are on the expensive side. The staff are not very welcoming. I have never had a meal here because it feels a bit cramped and is always cold as the sun never reaches this side of the street but it’s OK for a quick drink and a snack.

I don't often write reviews but after a week or so revisiting this I felt I had to. As ex residents of Cromer - we moved away about 8 years ago - we often go back to see friends and have regularly visited Huckleberies since it opened. We took our family including eighteen month old grandson last week as a day out during a trip to Center Parcs. After an hour and a half drive to Cromer, the first thing we wanted was a coffee so went to Huckleberies - no doubt! On arriving our grandson made it clear he didn't want to sit down again so soon so we took him out for a run around. On returning he was fine and we settled in downstairs with our party of six. I went upstairs to order and that's when the service became questionable. The girl taking the order was not exactly surly but certainly not friendly. She was happy to take my £23 though. The service when it was brought downstairs was done without a smile. We had our coffees - all of a high standard as we expected - and my grandson enjoyed his shortbread crab. He also enjoyed playing with the infants toys that were on offer in the corner - you obviously do expect children to visit then? We finally left saying our thank yous on the way out with no response, but on the way out of the door, one of the 'girls' standing well away from anyone else fairly loudly said ' thank God for that' as we went out of the door. It left us obviously with a bad taste and at that point we said we would not return to Huckleberies again. If you don't want children in your cafe, you should put a sign outside the door. Either that or train your staff! What a shame!

Its always difficult when there are so many cafes in a small town but this one sticks out for doing a great hot chocolate using real milk unlike many cafes who just press buttons on a machine. I also sampled one of the iced buns they had on display. Amazingly fresh, full of fruit and enough for two to share if needed. The only downside is that for reasons best known to the owners dogs are not allowed inside unlike some other cafes in the town. Change the rulings and the number of visitors would go up I am sure. I had to get a take away because of the dog but had we been able to stay would certainly have stayed longer and probably had lunch there as well. I recommend a visit to this cafe.

We had been to Hukleberies in the past and had an extremely pleasant experience so when visiting again returned. Oh my goodness what a difference. There were two young ladies serving who looked so bored, were surly, and could not bother to make any conversation with customers at all. The cafe was empty apart from some young people downstairs. An elderly couple came in an ordered a pot of tea and I thought for one moment the young lady was going to make them get up and collect. No problem if they were busy but they were not. There was old food left on the floor and our toasted tea cake had the remains of someones melted cheese from the last customer on the grease proof paper - it had not been cleaned between customers - just a brush off with the crumbs would have made such a difference. Just as we were leaving a young man joined the girls and he was the only one to say goodbye. Don't think we will be returning.

I thought this place looked ok. The guy behind the counter was really helpful. We decided to sit downstairs as the ground floor was full. The furnishings had seen better days. There were tables that weren’t cleaned up after previous customers but the flies were just a nightmare, constantly circling. We specifically ordered a sausage baguette with no butter and were served with a buttered baguette; when we pointed this out the waitress apologised, removed the baguette and returned a short while later with a baguette with no butter but on the same plate that had butter on it. We found her in the basement, where hard chairs, soft chairs, sofas, and various tables form an interesting collection. Something to suit everyone - if you can manage steep stairs. We stopped to indulge our sweet tooth and we're not disappointed! Fantastic cakes, friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Opposite the beautiful church. We wished we had stopped there for savoury as well! Will definitely be returning!

Called in for a quick coffee. Which was excellent as was the hot chocolate. Cakes etc looked amazing and all baked on the premises apparently. Will remember to call again.

Cromer has a wide range of coffee shops from the appalling to the very good and this is one of the best. Excellent quality coffee and cakes, and very helpful efficient staff. In a good location opposite the church on the main street so convenient for shoppers and visitors.

Lovely coffee shop , nice decor, good coffee, cake and toasted cheese sandwich. All food looked like it was homemade. I felt really comfortable sitting on my own, reading the paper and having a nice lunch. Weather outside was awful but I felt cosy and could watch the world go by. Great view of the Church. Nice place to people watch!!

We popped into Huckleberries for a coffee whilst having a wander around Cromer.Whilst we didn't have anything to eat on this occasion, everything looked extremely good.Paninis, jacket potatoes and a selection of very appetising cakes were on offer. If we were in the area again we would chose Huckleberries for either a light lunch or coffee and cake.

We came in for Lunch today and want to start off by saying that the location is idyllic, the food is delicious and most of the staff are wonderful. However, our meal was completely bulldozed by one member of staff (don’t know her name, elderly, black hair, heavy makeup). Not only would she not leave us alone for the duration of our meal which was very off putting, she proceeded to try to force feed me mushy peas using a dirty spoon off of the floor. At the end of our meal we were sitting and enjoying our drinks when she then took them from our table, we were considering getting coffees but felt very pressured to leave after such disastrous service. We are honestly embarrassed for you at No 1, that kind of behaviour was not very becoming at all…. What would have been the perfect meal out ended up being a complete nightmare.

Stayed for one night, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, clean , light and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. Breakfast was very good with an excellent choice of freshly cooked food, cereals, pastries and fruit. Will definitely return and would certainly recommend staying here

Over priced! £11.95 for toasted sandwich that came with small side salad, small pot shop bought coleslaw and handful chips. Had bacon and brie filling with so much cranberry it tasted more like jam sandwich. With a coffee each bill came to £33. Most costly lunch I've had for ages. Won't be rushing back.

Down in Worstead on wee business trip, asked about possibility of lunch nearby and were directed to the White Lady. It was around 14:30 on a Sunday afternoon so expectations weren't too high (would have settled for a sandwich...). Friendly welcome, assured food would be no problem and we're given 3 menus! We're invited to sit anywhere we chose so opted for window seat in dining area to rear. We both opted for Sunday roast topside. Absolutely fantastic. Beef cooked to perfection, awesome roast potatoes and Yorkshire pud, came with glazed chantenay carrots, buttered green beans and zingy red cabbage, jug of lush gravy and topped of with dish of unctuous Cauliflower and cheese (each by the way). Thinking about making the 3 hour drive again just to have that experience again.
