Really nice food, good service and a nice atmosphere.

Came across this place on our walkabout on our hols. Great place, friendly staff, great food. Deffo go again if we are in the area. Their pulled pork and beef brisket burned baked beans was a smasher, mmmmmmmm

Usually go for a burger. This visit we all tried the chicken burgers. One word to describe them-LENG The sides were top notch as well, especially the onion rings. 10/10 Get on.

Had a great time here yesterday! It's set within an old chapel which is awesome, and the decor inside is well done. We all had smash burgers, and some milkshakes which were all delicious! The staff were very friendly and overall had a lovely meal! Would recommend!

Awesome. Any pub serving a burger... This is the place to aim for! Value for money and super duper tasty. Do yourself a favour and visit.

Service was very slow and meal sizes were small for the price. Kids meal was very good but everything else was disappointing.

The best halloumi burger I've ever had! The staff were all absolutely lovely, the atmosphere is great and the food was absolutely amazing, definitely recommend!

Some amazing food I've had here with my partner. We had some great vegan and meaty foods. Cappuccino was amazing. It was so busy but amazing service and wait times were great. Will definitely come again!! 5/5!

My partner and I went in around midday, it was quiet but had a nice rustic feel, seating outside which is nice be we chose to sit inside, friendly staff and fast service, very nice food would recommend and definitely will return!

Yummy burger and great atmosphere.

Chicken burger was okay but for £12 on its own seems to be overpriced. The korean sauce with it didn't really add any flavour into it. Total meal was £20 with chips and drinks which again seems to be very expensive.

Nice place and usually great service, however on this occasion we were ordering food and they failed to tell us there was a group of 20 pre ordered food meaning we were waiting an hour for food, not happy at all with the experience today

Wonderful setting in an old chapel. Great that they had 2 gf options for kids , got our order a bit wrong so waited ages for the milkshakes. Toilets weren’t great.

The most melt in the mouth burger I have ever eaten, absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great, rustic looking with great music playing.

Warm welcome, clean everywhere & taken to table. Not pushy like other places when deciding what to order. Waitress Ollie was really attentive and knew the menu & provided advice on GF options. Food delicious & experience here was lovely, be back again soon. Great music throughout was a bonus 👌

Double cheese is legendary and Vegi Betsy equally awesome 😎 always a little wait for a table but the food is well worth it and extra good when comes with friendly service and stunning onion rings - yum yum yum all the way home! Slurp

People listening to the racing on their phone, no idea how we were meant to order. Nachos were awful, cardboard triangles with no flavour, guacamole was just tasteless much and cheese sauce was tastelesd. One waking person just awful but the other lady was great, almost seem a little embarrassed by the state of the place

Perfect place for date night. Amazing food, amazing staff and always a fresh special on the menu to switch it up with!

Excellent taste experience. The staff very welcoming and smiling! We took two burgers, specifically a cheeseburger and a Hub og burger and a Caesar salad. All very good and tasty. There is a nice atmosphere in the place.. The background music is top. A must try if you are in Truro.

Super cool venue with extra tasty food inside 😋.. Converted church now churning out a fine selection of bugers and other sides, this was our first visit and initially was curious due to it being an old church. Very trendy decor, awesome 80's playlist on in the background and the staff super friendly. We enjoyed our food and drinks here and would recommend it absolutely. Kids eat free Mon - Thursday 11 - 5 pm currently, so make the most of that. Burgers were delicious, onion rings were huge and tasty, chips were awesome and the kids enjoyed theirs, job done! Excellent service by Saffron today she went above and beyond for my birthday meal. Especially when the restaurant was extremely busy due to Jimmy Carr being in town. First meal here ever and was amazing. Thank you 👌👌👌

Went for a pint and a bite to eat, but all taps were off. £15 for a burger (which wasn’t huge) with no chips. OK, but wouldn’t rush back!

Two vegetarian options total, one wasn't available on the day, so no real choice. Small portions, pricey considering it was a small burger and had to order fries separately. Nearly £12 for a slice of cheese in a tiny bap.

Absolutely lovely staff...asked for a recommendation for a lager, the guy suggested the peach lager, wow! Delicious, will be trying more fruit infused lagers, thankyou. Sadly food was disappointing, ordered the big kahuna burger sounded amazing, when it came it was tiny, wafer thin pattys an horrendously greasy, it was pooled up in my take out box an had turned the bottom bun to a translucent brown colour(£15) Sad really coz I could of seen myself frequenting this place regularly. Still worth a visit tho, if not just for a peach lager.

Really good food, slight downside is the meals don't come with a side of chips so can be a bit more expensive, but we shared the loaded fries between two and it was plenty (recommend the garlic ones). Lovely friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

Really delicious food & drink - chicken breast in a bun with cheese, bacon, garlic mayo, lettuce, guacamole & hash brown, washed down with a pink grapefruit cooler. My server said that it didn't come with chips, but I wouldn't have been able to manage anything more. It was very sunny outside so I opted to dine inside thinking it would be cooler, but it was a bit stuffy without aircon.

Unsure why the staff are refusing to pick up the phone, after I’m rather upset they’ve forgotten to give me my vanilla shake on the small order I put through. Refund requested on Uber.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday yesterday, the food was delicious! He ordered a cheeseburger, and I got a Korean chicken burger, both with a side of skin-on fries. Both meals were really tasty. We also got some chicken tenders on the side, we loved the garlic and parmesan glaze. And the coating they use for the chicken is nice and crunchy too! We had 4 cocktails all together, they were good and they looked pretty, but only thing I would say is I don’t think 2 cocktails for £15 is a very good offer when all the drinks in the deal are £7.95… that’s only a 90p discount! 😂 All in all though it’s definitely worth a visit, the food is nice and the staff were friendly and helpful too. We’ll be back again. ☺️

I used to be a regular customer of yours However, you put your company into administration, owing many thousands of pounds and then reopened a new company (same restaurants) with the same directors, nolonger owing all of the money because you left your creditors high and dry, AND THAT IS DISGUSTING BUSINESS PRACTICE. I will never eat with you again.

a tale of a place which used to be great… in recent years unfortunately the service has worsened as has the food, a combination which results in an awful experience with no apologies! my last (and final) three visits: a grey (genuinely grey) part frozen and inedible vegan burger which i had to fight to have taken off the bill (i’d had it on a few visits prior on which it was nothing like this). half-raw chips which the inexplicably rude waitress put BACK in the fryer even though we’d bitten three of them. and a plate of cheesy chips, again raw, not even hot enough to melt the shredded cheese on top! i’ve learned my lesson. not even worth a try now sadly.

Elite food. Genuinely 10/10. If you’re a proper foodie and you know a bit about cooking/proper food then you’ll love it here. Heard they have a few treats coming with the new menu too. Can’t fault it, good prices, good drinks and a great setting.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Honestly the nicest burger of my life. So I have a milk allergy which means most the time I have to have the vegan option even tho I am not vegan. This place is so accommodating, they was able to use the vegan bap, vegan cheese and the rest of it was the normal meat burger! So much flavour, huge portion, amazing restaurant, great customer service. Also let my doggo inside and gave her some water (without been asked for any) Will definitely be recommending this to everyone. To the kitchen staff, you make amazing food! I had the burger, my wife had the tenders and my parents had the wings and dirty fries. Just amazing quality, great presentation and superb taste! Thank you

Date 4th May evening. Food was fantastic, service was rubbish. Order taken by a male who clearly did not want to be there, food was brought out by a lovely man, and that was the last of the staff we saw. Finished our food and lovely cocktails, and then waited for over 30 mins as we wanted to order more drinks and desserts, but ended up just leaving as we got fed up. Really really disappointed.

Had an absolutely stunning meal here last night. All the food was superb, the prices not too bad considering the portion sizes and the staff are very friendly. We will be returning.

Buttered chicken in a bun was awful.the chicken was so over done it was dry and tough to cut and chewy.Other meal was a hotdog in a bun the sausage was not good.The fries are good but the rest was bad Franky,will not go there again

The new menu is a joke for vegetarian and vegan options. Don't waste your time if you fall in either of those categories.

Ordered a takeout of 2 x the hub og burgers and mother clucker fries. The burgers were a bit of a let down, they came wrapped in tin foil so were exceptionally sweaty and greasy and looked very unapealing (even though we didn't go far). The burgers themselves seemed to just taste like the grill, with no meatiness to them, I assume this is because they have thin double burgers instead. Reminded me more of mcdonlds than a proper burger joint. The fries were nice as usual but they appear to have removed the slices of chilli which added a nice touch of colour and a small bite of heat.

Great menu. Prices on par with other good food quality venues. Staff well trained and welcoming. Certainly on our return list.

Friendly staff, very nice food. My appetite for halloumi was not met by the portion size of the halloumi fries but the food was good quality. Although tasty the jalapeño bites were not spicy enough for me but the hot sauce made up for it. This is a really nice friendly venue and we had a great evening. Thank you :D

We can’t recommend Hubbox, Truro enough. We were 6 adults and 2 toddlers; 1 of our party is a coeliac and another has a dairy allergy. The team today went above and beyond our expectations explaining exactly how there were preparing our food to avoid cross contamination. The food was tasty and we had a great time. Thanks Hubbox :)

Hub Box just introduced a new burger, the Oklahoma! As an Okie living in Cornwall I was so excited to try it and boy it did not disappoint! Onions smashed into the patties, a beautiful lacy crispy edge to the smashed patty. Absolutely worth it to try this American burger, and brings me a taste of home 😍🥹🫶 also the tots, waffle fries, and chicken sandwich were incredible as well.

Visited on our first trip to the Cornwall area. Staying in Hayle decided to venture to Truro and was recommended to try Hub Box. It was incredibly good. From the moment we arrived and were greeted. Everyone was so lovely 🤍 The food was incredible! I had the Brie B King Burger - the combination of Brie, red onion jam, Brie, bacon & garlic mayo was incredible. My partner got the Korean Clucker Burger which looked amazing and he loved it. We also got the trailer tots to share. It was delicious and not over filling. Delicious and will be missed when we go home 😂 It cost £31 approx with 2x burgers, tots & tap water.

Food was wonderful, atmosphere is so cool, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Disappointed at the obvious portion control. The burger patties are now disappointingly small being super thin and considering that we were sat facing a photograph of what they used to look like was just adding insult. The food was good but not a patch on what it used to be.

One word? Wow! Thoroughly enjoyed food. I was absolutely stuffed and didn't want to leave any, alas, I had to. I look forward to when we can get there again

Fantastic place to eat love the food pluss the service,always best to book a table as its very popular.on average I spend approximately for two £40 and three £60.and that's with at least on drink with the meal.i eat here mostly when visiting the city for lunch with my son,and sometimes with his girlfriend.

Great food, a bit pricey though and they put bacon on a burger when they were asked not too. This meant that the meals were not served together. Also they do a lunch deal but neglected to mention it and would have changed full price if I hadn't noticed it and asked them to change.

Really like it in here. Visited in the spring last year and the fire was on in the outdoor bit which was nice. Burgers were really nice too.

Wow!! went to boozy Bingo last night wasn't sure what to expect as we had never done this before, but was a girls night out so thought we try something different. Don't know where to start. The atmosphere was buzzing the staff were happy and helpful. The food was excellent and then the Bingo started and so did the belly laughs 😃 Jake and Dev are the next comedy double act and definitely need to brush up on the Bingo lingo which actually made it even more funnier. The bar staff were brilliant handing out the drinks on top of the jelly shots that were so strong. The prises were amazing even tho we only won one line. Such a good night will definitely be coming again 😌 Well done to the Hub box team for a fantastic evening 👏
