H's Cafe in Canterbury

Since Adrian retired and Andy and Clive left, the cafe (and showroom), have gone seriously downhill, £2 for a cup of Nescafe!!! only one or two customers, there is no atmosphere, or banter in the cafe or showroom, it's more or less been turned into a car showroom, i.e. only interested in closing deals, "goodbye, next! I don't think it will be long before it's closed!

advertised on line as being open on a Sunday, but it was closed when we arrived very disappointing indeed

It was exactly what I expected, a transport caff with good clean seating and ace fry up. Very friendly staff and punters. Second visit

Terrible customer service, not family friendly, if there is more than 4 of you, you are not aloud to sit together! Being a family of 5 we left before ordering as the service was that terrible, it’s a shame as this cafe would have great potential in the right hands!

Have been going here regularly in the summer and again recently since lockdowns banged on the head. Dropped in a couple of times this month when getting the bike out for a ride. Have had bacon or sausage baps before but just had a coffee these times. Cafe open again but masks still required before taking a seat at a table.

Really can’t understand the comment about rude staff as always found them polite and friendly. Food is more than adequate for this type of cafe and good value. Popular not only with bikers but also workers and often elderly couples and families. All are made welcome. Good attention paid to COVID precautions making customers feel safe . We use this cafe on a regular basis.

Only popped in for a coffee but what a great place. Wish I had had more time to eat as the food looked lovely and so reasonable. The coffee was £3.40 and that was for two!!!!!!! The place was so clean, wish I live nearer.

Had a tasty full English breakfast, bacon AND mushrooms really good, didn't like the brown sauce but everything else on the plate was good. Clean and service is prompt.

Situated next to a great Honda dealership. We thought an ideal place for bite and drink. Our server was in our opinion very miserable. Nothing said other than take our orders. Food was fair. Very little choice. No salads. Not one I would recommend.

Their H's 3 breakfast is everything you could want, even comes with homemade bubble and squeek. Cooked exactly as you like it. I'll be back for more.

Been here for breakfast over the past few weeks on a Friday, a crowd of us from work. Coped well, food is prepared individually, varied breakfasts from set menus, special boards or create your own. Honestly priced, presented well.

Our food come out extremely hot and believed this could of been microwaved. We questioned the quality and amount and was spoken to very rudely by the young man working here. Terrible customer service and we our regulars but that was the last straw. Not coming again!

This is a typical cafe where you can get a nice greasy breakfast for a reasonable price. Nothing fancy about the place however you get what you pay for and is always clean. Perfect for a stop off whilst traveling!

Id call it a bikers cafe...a great place for meeting up with fellow enthusiasts, We like to go here weekly for our works brekkie, good honest tea n toast with the trimmings...and if you fancy shopping for a Honda bike, the showroom is just next door...

Great little cafe. Decent cappuccinos, only £1.10!!!! Posh hot chocolate £1.60.... Nice way to pass the time whilst waiting for mot next door at Kent motorcycles.

Visited H's cafe on numerous occasions, never fails to please and great value for money. Ranks high compared to other similar cafes in the area.

Good value English breakfast to suit all sizes of appetite. One lite and one larger English breakfast plus 2 mugs of coffee, less than £9 the lot. Quick service, nice quality. Would certainly go again if in the area.

Just called in at 2-35 pm for a meal as i have many times only to be told that you close at 2-30 pm when it clearly states on the door that you close at 3-30 pm could not even get a bacon sarnie, not happy.

Paré aquí, por lluvia y granizo tomado bajando por Wingham hasta la A2. Tenía un bocadillo riquísimo de salchichas, bonitas vacaciones condunciendo con sabor de hierbas de Cumberland, y muy bueno, y lo más importante: pan blanco fresco. Estaba tranquilo en el tiempo, debido al tiempo pero estoy seguro de que no se llena con los ciclistas que frecuentan.

desayuno en el Café de H era la mejor idea que tuvimos durante nuestro viaje de regreso a Londres a Bruselas. El desayuno inglés completo se sirve literalmente nos ahorró hambrientos (no estoy exagerando! :) ) durante la 6 horas cola para coger el ferry retrasado. 100% sugerido por la ubicación, raciones, precio y la buena acogedor incluso si llegas en 4 ruedas!

Si estás en dos ruedas o en cuatro recibirá una cálida bienvenida. menú está limitado a una variedad de fritos y comidas tipo butties, sin embargo, estos son de calidad y mejor que a menudo encuentras en dichos establecimientos.

I went to H's Cafe for the respite and stayed for the bacon butties! Tea and bacon s/wich came to a couple of quid, but was priceless given the rain was coming down sideways at the time. The atmosphere is typically 'bikerish' and very welcoming. Recommended - very convenient stop before getting on the ferries (less than 10 mins away).
