One of the best tasting mixed grill platters in Leicester! The food is made and served fresh, the lamb chops were one of the best I’ve had. Even the Karahi and Naans were delicious. Great service as well. I would absolutely recommend. Alhumdulillah.

I went with business partners for lunch this week and I had not been for a while, we ordered delicious lamb kebabs starters, followed by two different types of curries the food was absolutely fantastic and extremely tasty, the meat and the chicken were very tender, especially the lamb in the curry dish, the service was also very good the waiter kept on coming to ask us if we needed anything, the nans were very fresh and even the owner came to ask if we needed anything we thoroughly enjoyed it I thoroughly recommend this place for lunch or for dinner we will go again

One of our favourite places to dine. Food is quality and delicious in flavours , authentic and original , lots to choose from , the waitresses are very attentive and friendly, we were given a complimentary gajar halwa to taste this time and it was superb only missing the ice cream 😁 we will be back again!

I visited House of Kababish for the first time, and I truly enjoyed the food—it was delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made my experience even better. One of the staff members, a very kind girl, was especially nice to me, which I really appreciated. Inshallah, I’ll definitely be coming back again soon. Highly recommend!

Always ordered food from house of kebabish and for many years due to the authenticity of there curries, ordered the usual curries yesterday 11/11 bhindi, Chilli chicken masala and Hazara lamb karahi and trust me it was awful all 3 of the curries were BURNT and TASTELESS as if like it was made all together and separated in the container. bhindi was completely burnt and there were more onions then the actual bhindi. chilli chicken masala and lamb karahi absolutely awful no where near the standards!! It’s a shame won’t be ordering again, I am sharing the photos for HoK awareness and hope they will try to improve the food quality!!

I must say that this place serves the best lamb chops and kebabs in Leicester. Also their desi breakfast of halwa puri (served weekends only) is the best in Leicester. Keep up the good job!!!

Went with a friend, to be honest didn't have much expectation. Came into a fully packed restaurant. Ordered the mix grill and we had to wait a while but the food was very tasty and freshly cooked. We also tried chicken Karahi and that was also nice. They only had one waitress serving and she did do her best, maybe they were not expected to be so busy. It was a weekday but good food will always have busy restaurants.

Upon receiving the ordered items, the box which contained the nihari was not packed correctly. The lid was not attached to the container appropriately and as a result, it caused it to spill inside of the plastic bag. This really disappointed me but the seekh kebabs and coriander naan were both very delicious!

Dinned here Fri 30/08/24. Made a table booking. Service good with a warm welcome from the Manager. He had given me call prior to my arrival saying our table is running late so please allow an extra 15 mins wait which was good of him as I was travelling a distance to get there. Table waitress polite, served well and deserved a tip. Food. Ordered the mixed platter which arrived in goodtime and could not fault it. Delicious taste only matched to my wife's cooking at home. Will come again!

Had the mixed kebab and it was absolutely fantastic. Came with lamb tikka, chicken tikka and a seekh kebab salad and chilli sauce on nan bread. All the meat had really good flavour and was fresh.

Ordered twice here for takeaway, food was excellent, a bit spicy but lovely. We will certainly order from here again. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was some of the items were a bit pricey and on our first order we didn’t get much meat in our biryani, which we told them when we placed our next order.

Good food but nothing special. requested a few changes to the set menu but not willing to accommodate. lady serving us was friendly.

Regularly visit this place, food and service has always been great, kebabs and curries are really good! Defo one of my fave places to dine in and takeaway!

This has always been one of our favs! The staff are great and always accomodating. The food is consistently good. I would highly reccomend the Chicken Tikka Biryani, its perfectly seasoned and full of flavour, the boneless chicken pieces have a chargrilled taste and add a totally new dimension to a traditional biryani. The BBQ Baby chicken or now known as Piri Piri chicken is grilled to perfection, suculant and tender. My youngest son loves the Shik Kebabs, and although we have had take out a couple of times they tatse so much better when you dine in as they are served on a hot plate on a bed of caramilesed onions. You can usually tell a good desi food place when most of the customers are of that ethnicity and Kebabish never fails to impress!

Authentic Pakistani food. Food is really tasty. I have the food multiple times, and I tried Nihari, Masala fish, grilled chicken, Sheesh kebab, and fresh naans. Everything was tasty and fresh.

The sizzler did not have enough to be £20, and it was missing the bed of onions.

Before two days ago i got a chance to had a dinner with my family ..i specially came there from cardiff to taste the nihari and lamb karahi which was mind blowing and the garlic naan was very cripy and tasty which enhances the taste of karahis .No doubt we will come soon to taste the another things and will definitely recommend to others

last night we went to this amazing place we orderd mixed grill and bbq which is recommended by Anjali singh who is excellent in her service ...tbe atmosphere is very good the behaviour of all the staff members is. very polite .we enjoyed our food. we will come soon .

This place is the place to go the service is one of the best I have ever had . Hence I have come back again and again. I even recommended this to my family in Birmingham who also came and agree. The food is fantastic along side the price- they are not over priced. Its a desi style restaurant with a fantastic service. My favourite place!

The food is really tasty as it has a kick of lemon in it. The chicken and lamb curries are the best. Don't forget the starters. They are finger licking delicious as they are cooked in the grill in front of you. The service is good, and the atmosphere is great. The place has had a refurbishment, and now it looks much better and brighter than before. It's value for money as we usually spend £12 per person, and we are usually full afterwards Overall, it is a good place to eat out. If you decide you want to eat in the evening it's better to book in advance as it gets really busy and you will have to wait if you don't book in advance. The staff are friendly and helpful. We go here regularly and we book in advance for 12 in the evenings. There is street parking around the restaurant.

Went at a decent time when it wasn't busy at all... 4.30pm and still food came out burnt! Ordered sizzler onions were burnt and so was chicken . Pictures say it all Never again

This was our first visit to this Kebabish and didn't realise that booking was necessary. Only 2 of us went but still we had to wait over an hour. Next time, I will definitely book in advance. However, the long wait was well worth it. The 3 female staff waitresses were absolutely amazing. They were here, there and everywhere, like ninjas. So calm and always smiling and cheerful. Whatever they did and in the manner they did it, was just wonderful. So caring and making sure everything was up to our requirements. The catering staff were brilliant too. Making sure we got the taste that we wanted. They just couldn't do enough. Well done everyone. Hope to see you again. Highly recommended

Last time I came here was before COVID. Don't know if chefs have been changed since. Went at a decent time 4pm when it's not that busy but our food still came out burnt! Onions were totally burnt. My pictures prove it . Never ever again. Waste of money

Yesterday We ordered Nihari, chicken tikka, chapli kabab, Tandoori roti and fudge cake on Uber. Nihari gravy was watery with only oil, no taste in meat. Chapli kabab was ok but smaller than before. Tandoori roti was dry and hard to chew, felt like it wasn't fresh. Only chicken Tikka and fudge cake were tasty but still portion was small. expensive 😔

The food was late and came cold. On phoning the shop, the service advisor confused our delivery with another and was saying it had been delivered. So disappointed 😞

Their food is absolutely amazing when you eat in the restaurant but if you order a take out absolutely disgusting. This has happened to me for the 4th time so putting down the review. I love their Nihari and I go there to eat in as well, it’s usually thick l, they give a bowl full of gravy with shank and an small meat piece when we eat in but every time we order take out, its just the shank with the least meat literally like just give a bone, gravy watery and just oil. I have wasted my money literally 4-5times on their take on now. We had to call the restaurant and tell them to make sure it is sent like it is nihari and not oil and water but they did it again. Never ordering from them. So tired!! Worst place for a take out, the quality is so much terrible for take out.

We've always wanted to try this place so had the opportunity to do so on Saturday night. We booked table for 6, there was six of us, the staff were very accommodating and moved us to a larger table to make us more comfortable. staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. My husband ordered the mixed platter plus some extra bits and extra naan. The chutney/salad that came out complementary was basic but fresh and nice enough. Our mixed came out first and we were all really surprised by the amount, it was generous and soo tasty.. the mains were, in my opinion, even nicer. We are a foodie family so we love our spices and flavours. The lamb and chicken curry was superb.. Garnished nice with chillie and ginger, real authentic taste. Naans were nice but I've had softer.. we ordered peshwari naan too which was nice. The rice dish was basic but tasty. Overall, the platter was great value for money and really tasty. I gave 4 stars for service because, as we were eating our starters, we were getting interrupted with our other dishes. Would ve prefered for us to finish our starters first then main come out.. but that was the only thing. Other than that, couldn't fault the place, staff were great, atmosphere was lovely, nice and busy. I think we'll returning there very soon 😊

The food is tasty but that this place is just too busy/hectic (because of the good food?!). You'll have to book ahead to get a table, and you'll have a long wait if you order a takeaway - and the estimated wait times are WAY off. A cash only joint, with prices a bit on the high side. Preference also seems to be given to delivery services (uber, just eat, etc). This place reminds me of those games where you have to look after customers and, unfortunately, played by someone losing. Good food for the patient.

Worst harissa ever. Ordered today from uber eats and their quality is now zero in terms of Harrisa. Harissa was good few months back. Really disappointed

I placed an order for take away over the phone, they said it would take maximum 40 minutes, I reached after 50 minutes to collect the food and it was not ready, i had to wait for another 10-15 minutes. When i went again the food was not ready they said the items were a lot so it takes time. So let me share to you guys what i ordered, it was half peri peri chicken, chicken shashlik, lamb tikka masala and 2 tandoori rotis which according to them it was a lot. They took more than 1 hour to prepare the order and the lamb was not cooked, the rotis were so dry. The other customer also shared his experience that the workers always give wrong collection time so they always come late to collect their food. But I have to say that their chicken was good however it was my first order and it was a very bad experinece for me. Very bad service by their staff. I would never recommend it
