House of Kebab Nite in Brighton and Hove

Ordered of deliveroo. Waited an hour after order was meant to arrive. It never did. They then lied to deliveroo saying it was delivered and left outside my house.

Didn’t arrive. No answer from their phone. They accept orders and mark them as delivering just to con you.

20 minutes to order to say not got half the menu 30 minutes then to wait for food, 2 staff on the phone the entire time chatting away Food was cold and awful Useless staff and useless food

Absolutely horrible experience. Ordered some food with them for delivery only for it never arrive and for them to have the gall to mark the order as delivered a mere five minutes before it would have been considered late enough for me to be entitled to a full refund. This is sadly not an isolated case as the numerous other reviews show, I really wish I had read them before ordering. Avoid House of Kebab Nite at all costs, these guys just want to take your money and run every chance they get.

Ordered last week and hasn’t came. Waited more than two hours until I asked for a refund and canceled. Deliveroo asked me to wait couple of days till my refunds arrive. When I contacted deliveroo they weren’t able to help since the restaurant does rhere own delivery.

Left their shop open on Deliveroo even though they were closed. Order never came, can't get through to the restaurant. Best thing to do is hope for a refund, which seems unlikely from other reviews. Not recommended. Edit: No refund, scammed. Stay clear!

Effectively stole 20 quid from me, placed an order with deliveroo, the order was never delivered but they marked the delivery as complete, deliveroo couldn't do anything as the restaurant uses their own drivers, the restaurant itself has completely ignored me and hasn't picked up any of my phone calls, either at the time of the order or the multiple times since I've tried to contact to rectify the situation, SCAM

Made a delivery on deliveroo obviosuly the order never arrived and deliveroo cant process a refund as the restaurant use their own riders 🤬🤬🤬🤬

did not receive my order, had to call several times and was not answered until the 5th time i called. the person I was on the phone to was unbelievably rude and did not let me have a refund please don’t ever order from here for your own good

Ordered an hour before they closed, deliveroo said it would be delivered at midnight. Delivery time came and passed and I lost hope after reading reviews. 30 minutes after estimated delivery time I got a knock at the door! My order exactly as I wanted it including alcohol. Burger and chips were piping hot and drinks were cold! Next time I need a quality order late night i'll be back! Thank you very much and thanks to the delivery driver! 10/10

Would give 0 stars if I could. How is this place still open? Order never arrived. Also found out there was apparently a rat infestation a few years ago 🤢? Edit: the restaurant refused to give me a refund for the food not arriving. Gonna take it further for theft.

Ordered from Deliveroo, after 2 hours of waiting I was told it had been delivered when it had not arrived at all. Judging by my own experience and other reviews, this place is exceedingly incompetent and the owners either need to take some accountability and fix their awful service, or do the world a favor and close for good.

Ordered at 3 and then it said arrival at 6 so decided to go to bed. Not sure how a place is open that late but hey ho, you live and you learn. Coke was nice in the morning as was severely hungover

Had to wait two hours for delivery on uber eats and coleslaw was so bad I had to spit it out. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered about £30 worth of food from them late one night, the food never arrived, no missed calls from them or anything. I tried to phone the restaurant multiple times and there was no answer. I sent and email to deliveroo to get a refund seeing as I couldn't get hold of the restaurant who replied and said that "because the driver tried to contact" me they wouldn't offer a refund. That's a massive lie, I have no calls from them whatsoever. Absolutely ridiculous. Don't order from here.

Ordered chicken shish and chips. Chips were slightly soggy. Only seasoning on chicken was paprika. Pitta was stale. A sound meal at 2am, but there are better kebab shops.

Absolutely disgusting! I asked for doner and they gave me shish. I tried a piece of shish and it did t taste like lamb! I took it back and they gave me my doner! I should have taken the kebab to health and safety to examine what meat they had given! I wouldn’t even have given one star if that was possible! This place should be closed down before anymore people get food poisoning! Definitely not recommended to even try!

doesn't even deserve 1 star if im honest, firstly they don't melt the cheese on the cheesy chips its just grated cheese and I asked if it could go in the microwave and they said no, secondly didn't give any change back to me and my friends, my friends gave them £10 expecting £5 change and they never gave it back. Thirdly they don't give you your right order my friend asked for a chicken kebab and they gave her a lamb donner kebab, and finally the food doesn't even taste nice I wouldn't even feed it to my dog cause it would be animal abuse. I really look forward to the food at the end of a night out and they just ruined it for me, defo wont be returning again even If I am paralytic!

All good reviews are fake. worst service, order never came. Owner proceeded to swear at me on the phone and tell me I wasn’t getting my money back. Worst in Brighton. Avoid at all cost

Food never showed up, we waited over 3 hours and nothing so we went to bed. Doesn't look like they'll be giving a refund either. Abysmal service.

We was weiting over 1 hour, i had to call them why my order was not accepted, they said something happend to tablet and they didnt recive order after they accepted it took them 1 hour to deliver. Food was soggy and taste like was cooked yesterday, plus not cooked properly we throw away all that food in the bin , waste of money, highly not recommend

This place is a joke, Order a delivery and it takes 1 hour and 40 minutes to arrive. And when it does arrive it's the wrong order, only then do I realise the shop is now closed and I can't get the thing I ordered. Waste of money ordering from here. Go somewhere that values their customers and gets the orders right.

After a 2 hour wait for it to arrive.. I got my food. They forgot my chips..i called them up asking for a re delivery and they accused me of lying in an attempt to steal 2 POUND CHIPS.. what a joke.. never again. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY THE FOOD IS HORRENDOUS AND THE SERVICE IS SHOCKING. Fresh made and cooked Falafel and homemade peanut and chilli sauce. This place was an awesome find. Might not be best looking takeaway around, but definitely best tasting!

The worst chicken shish I have ever had. Everything was just really low quality. Terrible chilli sauce - not spicy, not tasty. The place is clean and friendly enough - but the most important bit - the food - is just not good.

I have been using Kebab Nite's online delivery service for quite some time now. At first I was very pleased with it, but recently I have been left waiting for my food for more than an hour on at least three occasions. The first time it happened, I called Kebab Nite and was told that the computer "was not switched on" and that my order had not been received because of it. The time after that I was told that the printer "was not switched on" and that my order had not been received due to that. Today, after again waiting for over an hour, I called the shop and the guy answering told me that the computer "was not working" and said that my order had not been received. He then read off my order without me even telling him what it was. How can he know what the order was for, if he had not received my order? I will not be using this place again.

BEST IN TOWN! Hands down the most authentic kebab I've had. the meat is expertly flavoured you really will be amazed. The salad is so fresh and portion are balanced perfectly. I would of loved of a lemon wedge to squeeze over the meat And I'm sure if I had asked for one when ordering they would of included it. The restaurant is very clean and standards are very high. I will be ordering from here from now on for sure. Superb!
