I had submitted a google review and the response was not what I expected. The response was a lie, saying I asked for a table of 4 when I did not. If we are a family of 5 why would I ask for a table of 4 and I certainly wouldn't say we can go on a table of 4 if we can fit on it. Also, lying that most of the food had been consumed when I asked for a refund. I ate one chip and then asked for a refund. The photo I took of the food was to show how heavily coated the masala chips were. The response from house of chaii tipton is absurd and despicable. Even more disappointed than I was initially.

Lovely people and food. Service very good and good value for money considering how tasty the food is and lots of variety. Only problem is it was busy so difficult to get a table as it’s only a small little place! But it is a good sign that it’s so popular :)

My friend recommended this place for us to go for brunch/lunch and her words were ‘it’s not the greatest area but the food is outstanding’ and she wasn’t wrong. Location: it’s on a little row of shops on a main road. Parking isn’t great but there is some odd road parking nearby. Don’t let this put you off. Service/welcome: the restaurant is decorated in keeping with the theme. It’s clean and pretty, and can probably seat about 20 in total, but worth the wait if you do have to linger a little. Everyone who works there was helpful and friendly. They were superb at making recommendations especially about the differences in the drinks. The young lady who helped me was Knowledgeable and friendly. 10/10! Food: it’s a blend of Indian street food, English options and great stacks of pancakes. I had the desi x English and it did not disappoint. There is no pork served so the sausages are chicken and the ‘bacon’ was a tasty pork free alternative. The sausages were a taste sensation as were the curry/chilli beans! It was a lot of food but for a very reasonable £13.50 it was well worth it. Drinks: the selection was superb! I opted for a pink chaii based on recommendations and I could have drank it all day! I wish I’d had the XL now as It was beautiful! Takeaway: while I was there I also ordered some food to take home and it was cooked quickly and packaged well! The biscoff cheesecake is to die for and you can’t go and not try this!! I cannot recommend this place enough! It’s going to become a weekly occurrence if I have my way! Sublime experience! Can’t wait for these to pop up in more places

Always eat from here, we order every Saturday night. Love the mega mix grills and the curries are beautiful. Had always been great value for money too, but the only criticism I have is recently, there seems to have been a change to the portion size on the mega mix grill, its got way smaller so i am having to order a tikka starter to go with it which is bumping the end bill up, so thinking of reducing the amount of times we order from here due to cost, which is a shame because the food is always tasty. Also I wish they didnt put the poppadom in with the hot food because it makes it go soggy.
