Original delivery time was 17:35, then changed to 17:50 and ended up 35 minutes late! Really not impressed.

We've been starving for 3 hours took you 2 hours to get the delivery going and you was really late. This food isn't even what you would consider being warm its not enjoyable to eat. i would like a refund.

Yet another amazing lunch meal i just had,small red pea soup,small stewed chicken £11 absolutely tasty food and brilliant portion size this is my go.to when i have a long shift at work comfort food to its best.

Only half the order arrived. Money for the other half was in an envelope. My boy didn’t get his dinner.

If you want the real thing, this is the only go to place 😁

Visiting Gloucester for the day and found this place by sheer accident - so glad I did! Food was incredible - I had the oxtail curry with rice and pea and missus had the jerk chicken - portion size was amazing and the oxtail was delicious - best I've had!- I noticed someone complaining about the bones - bones add the flavour! There were a few in the oxtail (as all good oxtail dishes should have!) but the marrow is amazing - Don't hate on the bones - they make the dish! Will deffo return if ever in beautiful Gloucester again :)

The food that makes you think of home and comfort. Hands down best food in Gloucester! Portions were incredible for the price and the taste was amazing. Truly gives you that warm cosy feeling of home cooking. Will be ordering again!

Best dumplings, oxtail, and ackee & saltfish in town!

I ordered the curried Goat, fried dumpling and banana cakes. The curry was delicious but it would have been much better if there were a lot less rice and more meat (and less bones, I don't eat bones 😉) Dumpling were good and so was the banana cake although I couldn't test the banana 🍌 😂 but it was still very nice and very moist. All very good portions including the cakes. No ridiculous tiny slices like other take aways would provide. You can tell these lovely people are feeders 😊 I'll definitely order again

Still 2 hours after ordering no food has arrived. Cant comment on the food quality as i didnt taste it.

This is by far the worst customer I ever experienced, I called the take away after an hour and half late and my food to tell her my food hasn’t come. the woman says the driver has delivered all the food and he’s come back, I told her that I ain’t got my food so she speaks to the driver and says oh no it’s all messed up now, your food is coming and she puts them she put the phone down. When my food finally arrives after a total of 2 hours I called them back and told them I want a refund because it’s took so long and the rude woman had the nerve to tell me to give the food back to the driver. The food was cold and really dry. I urge everyone to stay far far away from ordering from this place.

It was late, however it is sat night.when food arrived it was piping hot and delicious.

Jerk chicken super dry. Like eating blocks of sand.. and it because they chop it up on the bone, nearly every mouthful I had a splinter of bone. The curried goat was nice though.

I have been ordering from HOT SPICY for sometime now and am a fan of their food but what was delivered today was way below their standards, especially the oxtail which was too salty and also food was delivered cold. I wish I paid with card, as I would have most definitely requested a refund just not good enough.

The food was hot, but the stew chicken let the meal down, seriously it killed the enjoyment - to much sauce in a think bisto gravey. Not authentic. Very sad, my 1st complaint in 3 years of using this company. Not happy.

First time ordering from here and i was NOT disappointed!!! The Food was amazing! One piece of chicken slightly dry but did not affect the quality of the meal! The flavours just mouth watering! Saltfish fritters were to perfection! Would 1000% recommend and will definitely be ordering from here again... compliments to the chef!

Food arrived well packed and very warm to eat immediately. The delivery guy was friendly in approach. Only downside is no option was given to choose what type of patty (chicken or beef), so I bought two.

Very good food & authentic tasting! Bit expensive for portion sizes & the Curried Goat is my favourite but slightly different to what I'm used to as I'm of Trinidadian heritage! Probably the best West Indian restaurant in Gloucester.
