Staff and food are great overall , but Veggie curries aubergine and the jackfruit are mostly sauce! Plus We were told we had to leave after 1 & 1/2 hours Surely 2 hours minimum for a meal.. otherwise ot feels like a conveyor belt. Come on Hoppers you are making enough money, always busy ! Stop being greedy!

This restaurant is in a great location. With the exception of the bone marrow the food was very tasty. The 4 of us all ordered from the Gluten Free menu - still lots of choice. Unfortunately there wasn’t any gluten free beer or cider - which did spoil things a little. Staff were all friendly and the food came out hot and freshly cooked. However it was very noisy - which did make chatting over the table difficult. Definitely worth going - but if you are celiac ask if you can bring your own beers

It's a testament to Hoppers that even though we were all stuffed after our meal, we enjoyed it so much that we 'forced' ourselves to have a dessert! Here for a family birthday meal, we took something of a punt as we'd wanted something a little different and Hoppers really delivered. The ambience, service and food were all five out of five and my son - who ordinarily doesn't like spicy food - declared the chicken biryani (which was definitely on the hot side of spicy) the best meal he'd ever had! We each came away with our own favourite (I could have eaten a bucket load of the tender, unctuous chicken curry) and the signature hoppers and dosas were deliciously crisp and light. Served as a sharing experience it felt like the most indulgent of street foods and has already been bookmarked as one of our favourite places to visit!

Food was just ok. Left indigestion. Overly spicey to a point that deflavored the food - and I like spicey food. Service was just ok. They didn’t attempt to help and missed setting silverware for the whole table and weren’t attentive to anything

This place is an absolute rip off, cheap ingredients made to look authentic , bone marrow is NOT a sri lankan staple , but is cheap to profiteer from. Drinks are diluted with excessive use of ice. You are forced to finish your sitting for the next sitting...as a half sri lankan this is a total disrespect to the country's cuisine and sri lankan hospitality ....utter waste of money for the portions, alcohol and experience.....dont waste your money on these tiny portions with a noisy and rushed atmosphere where you cannot hear any of the waiters

Having been to Sri Lanka on a food tour and been to many Sri Lankan & South Indian restaurants, I was hoping for a great meal. The restaurant itself was very busy and that loud/noisy that we couldn't have a conversation easily across the table. So not a pleasant environment for a relaxed evening. The staff were polite & friendly. The food was nice, pretty standard, nothing spectacular. For me, the food was overpriced for what we had compared with other similar meals we had during our London stay. An expensive 45min dinner and somewhere I won't be rushing back to.

¡Comida deliciosa! Conseguí un vale grupal para una comida de dos platos y no me decepcionó. También me presentó a Karma Cola, que sabe igual que los polos de hielo de cola

It was wonderful, the staff were friendly- we speak Mandarin. We ordered a few of their signature dishes, which were the beef noodles, the seaweed salad, and the chow mein. The beef noodles were literally chef’s kiss, the texture and the density of the noodles was perfect- chewy, slim, and delicious. The beef was a bit on the chewier side, though, I wouldn’t recommend elderly people or babies eating this, to prevent choking. Next was the seaweed salad, it was so good! We eat this often at home back in China, so it was a burst of flavour, plus a flashback, flying me back to China. The Chow Mein was so delicious and flavourful, the noodles were a little different than the beef noodles- chewy, big, and wonderfully salty. They had a lot of veggies and onions though- so it had a huge effect on the taste. Overall, it was very nice and we would go there again.
