Hookway's in Birmingham

Definitivamente soy una de las personas que ama Hookways pero la entrega de ayer me impactó. Pedí dos envolturas de Pollo y Halloumi (£ 13. 50 cada envoltura) y recibí dos envolturas medio vacías, frías y absolutamente difíciles de morder ya que la envoltura estaba seca y vieja. Pediré otra vez, pero por favor, haga algo al respecto.

Delivery, food arrived stone cold, packaging all ripped, half the chips missing and the wrong dip sauce. Plus gristle in the chicken - rank - never ordering again from there.

I order from Uber eats all the time from this place. The food is really good but on 2 occasions, despite paying for a large kebab wrap, I was given a small one. When it happened the first time, I wrote to the restaurant, they not only did not apologise but said they weigh everything and it was all correct. Then why did it come in a tiny box instead of the standard large box? I literally order that one wrap every time and I can tell the huge differences in packaging and sizing! I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered the large a couple more times, which curiously went back to the standard big size and big box until today's order - where again, I got cheated having paid for a large, and received a tiny wrap in a tiny box! In addition, I am unsure if it is an uber eats thing but the chocolate baklava (3 pieces) is 4 pounds but on checkout, it automatically becomes 6.25 pounds (this is excluding service and delivery fee). This happens every time. Cheaters till the end! I will no longer buy from them despite being a loyal customer for so long. Maybe you are better off eating on site, as they have less chance of cheating you this way.

Delicious wraps and salads. We’ve ordered on Uber Eats a few times now and it’s always been delicious. The salads are fresh with a great variety of veggies and a nice dressing. The wraps are huge and full of flavour. I tried the chicken and halloumi and a lamb kebab wrap. The meat was very tasty and marinated in spices. Their hummus and falafels are also worth a try!

Los mejores wraps en Birmingham Este establecimiento hace las mejores envolturas. Tan limpio, con tan bueno tan fresco, no puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente. Además, el tipo que dirige el lugar es muy educado. Vamos allí al menos una vez a la semana.

I recommend this city centre eatery to everyone who wants a good clean menu, healthy food, generous sized portions at an affordable price. Mark & his expert team regularly serve up very tasty & very healthy food to my colleagues and our clients. The size of the food portions are very generous. The blend of ingredients is perfect. The warmth of the welcome from Mark and all of the Hookways staff is 💯 guaranteed. Hookways is based in the Minories so their delicious menu is available to all who live and work in Birmingham. Really good food. We had the chicken and halloumi wrap and lamb wrap- both were really nice and lots of flavour. Portions are really big. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend!

Had a take away lunch from here on Wednesday - a small halloumi wrap and the special fried potatoes - again the small. Portion sizes were huge, which was just perfect as both things were really yummy. Thanks guys will be back again soon to try something else.

I ordered dinner for one from here tonight - opting for the halloumi wrap and a side of fries. Delivered to Edgbaston, with UberEATS, it came to £12.80 with a 25% off voucher code. I felt even with the discount it was very expensive. The wrap, whilst generously portioned and fairly tasty, was soggy and poorly rolled making it hard to eat. The fries were very average and definitely not worth £2.95. For the price I expected better. I wouldn’t order again.

I wanted a healthy-ish treat for a Friday night takeaway and Hookway's did not disappoint. The chicken wrap was enormous and packed full including the sauce of my choosing. Possibly the best halloumi fries I've ever had, and beautifully presented.

The chicken wraps with halloumi fries and a drink is the best meal deal in town value for money...healthy...and quality...ok it costs a little more than £3 Tesco meal deal...but it certainly fills you up ...

Had the chicken wrap, was beauts. Generous size that I didn't think I'd finish but was too good to leave. The pomegranate really gave it a nice finish. Good price too.

Beat kebab in town. This is not your average greasy feast. Healthy and fresh ingredients bursting with flavours.

I ordered the traditional falafel box for lunch last week and it was delicious! It was a huge portion of gorgeous fresh flavours. I phoned in my order and picked it up 10 minutes later. I will definitely be visiting again!

Delighted with Hookway's today. Had my dog with me in work so rang ahead to organise collection of lunch. Not only did they have a delicious vegan option (Jacket potato with a vegan sausage and bean stew) but they made it ahead for me, and brought it to me and took payment outside the shop in the Great Western Arcade. That way, the dog didn't go into the premises and I could still eat! Will definitely be returning.

I visit Hookways regularly for a healthy lunch. The salad options are amazing and really reasonably priced. A small salad is only £2.50 with a small additional charge for chicken. I always feel so healthy and good about myself after having lunch from Hookways as you know the food is fresh. The staff are really friendly as well. I keep recommending it to my colleagues and they're all hooked too!

Great little shop that predominately sells salad, sandwich and baked potatoes. The salad is great, everything is prepared for a little bit of extra flavour. It's not just sweetcorn, for example, it's chargrilled with a little spring onion and feta mixed in. Broccoli might have...

Everyone who works at Hookways is always super friendly and inviting. Every food item and smoothie drink I have tried has been amazing. The best option would have to be the sweet potato which is the best I have ever had!

Just stumbled via this place by accident. Followed my nose. Smelt delicious and I returned the next day to purchase a yummy salade freshly prepared. Yum yum all the way. Definitely one venue to return to, to embrace the clean eating theme.

I love this place! Nice & clean. Great variety of foods - from wraps, sandwiches, jacket potatoes including sweet potatoes, to noodles and extensive salad bar to smoothies! Very tasty and all freshly made. Excellent healthy choices too. Staff very friendly too.
