Hong Kong Chef in Eastleigh

Food not good, and since visiting the takeway has been shut down due to a very poor food rating, they are re furbing but don't think I'll be going back, found the Chinese in Netley is VERY VERY good!!!

Just moved into the area. Thought we'd try this out. We had no expectations, as its been hard to find a good Chinese recently. Omg! It was delicious, we had ribs, sweat and sour chicken Hong Kong style, beef chew mein and a curry. Not a scrap left.. which is unusual. Can't wait to order again. Great value too.

First time using and the food and portions where excellent called in and ordered and didnt have to wait long will def use again

Our new favourite, discovered this little gem and glad we did, the salt and pepper chicken and curry are highly recommended

Don't get a takeaway from this place , 1st and definitely my last. They got the order wrong which they admitted also I paid for thi prawns and never got them , I was told I would be re enbursed £10 for the prawns but never got that either , so I paid for something I never got! The meat curry was crap! It wad swimming in oil, but the owner rekons his curry is the best in southampton , well I can assure you it's not its awful .. so avoid this place ! I only live 12min away took them 1hr 20min to deliver aswell , I will never be using this takeaway ever again and if anyone else who reads this uve been warned in advance!!

Hands down the best Chinese takeaway I've had! Used for the first time tonight 10-05-22 ordered the meal for 1 plus curry chips could not fault it one bit very tasty will 100% be using Hong Kong chef from now on thankyou

Always ordered from here . Never had an issue until Sunday. Supposed to be a nice mother day chinese ..... food was disgusting . The chicken was gone off and to make it worse it was raw ....... the chef sound be fuming with himself for even sending that out ..

Good local Chinese, foods nice and appropriately priced, easy communication and can pay by card on the phone. Was meant to be around 45 min wait took an hour, food was still hot so no concerns.

First time and look at star and some reviews looked good BUT NOT Small portions and all very salty and had weird tasted wouldn’t go again

Some of the best Chinese takeaway food I've had in a long time and I'd say I probably have pretty high standards. Can't wait to try more dishes on the menu.

incomplete order Incorrect order what food was there didn't even look appetizing poor customer service first of all offered me a refund, then refused a refund until returned what food they had supplied Attitude and behaviour on the phone was totally unacceptable Poor Quality and service Definitely one to avoid

Authentic, restaurant quality food! I wish I found Hong Kong Chef sooner - it’s blown every previous Chinese take away I’ve had out the water! Great service and portion sizes too.

It may be my imagination, but seems to be going down hill. Smaller portions and lower quality ingredients. Been a customer for a long time and it horrible to admit it's decline.

Good food, freshly cooked! Sometimes very busy so order early

The food is good quality ie mushroom fried rice has ample mushrooms and good sized portions. Chips tend to be a tad dry and chewy

Shabby building, good food. They don’t take cards, cash only. You can withdraw cash at the shop opposite (post office counter, but it’s about to close down). Great duck pancakes, friendly staff, prices are good. Free fortune cookies last time ! Last time I was waiting to collect, another customer was in there drinking a can of lager! Not businesses fault though

Amazing service really quick really friendly and good value for money. Food is always lovely never had a complaint from the moment you call for a delivery or go in for a collection staff are more than friendly and welcoming and food is just lovely. They are happy to adapt menu items to suit your needs too. Just lovely.

Ordered a chinese , an hour later still no food so we called them and they said they could not find our address (next to a chip chop ),they offered it to us for half price which we accepted thinking it would still be warm but when it arrived cold we had to put it in the bin as it was cold .
