Hong Kong in New Forest

Normally love they're food, unfortunately tonight after being told hour to hour half for delivery we waited over 2 hrs 45mins Food wasn't as good and luke warm . Disappointed

Such poor customer service! We have been regular customers at this take away but never again after today. We were told 20 minutes for collection, my partner then sat there waiting while they took 40 minutes to finish the order. When he got home, one of the dishes was completely incorrect. He phoned and asked for it to be rectified and they wanted to charge more money to deliver the dish we had ordered and said it would be at least 30 minutes!! No apology offered. I went to collect to speed things up and pointed out that the rest of my food was going cold- no response.

Ordered two chicken curry plus two egg fried rice n chips. Food quality was poor, chicken was cut into large square cubes n tasted nothing like chicken n gravy didn’t taste like a Chinese gravy, more like a normal gravy you would make yourself. My experienced the food ingredients there using has changed n therefore there buying cheaper food products. Was looking so much forward to having a Chinese that night as haven’t had one for a while due to the cost of everything going up. It’s a shame to, have always gone there in the past n never faulted their food before. ) Also they only took cash that night which was a surprise as i only had my card so had to withdraw money out..

Very nice takeaway from here only two minor moans sauce in the curry was too thick and in the shredded beef with chilli some sauce would have been nice. Delivery was very very fast nice driver very polite and cheerful.

Watch your change. Bill came to £23 and I handed over £25 and should have received £2 in change. Was given two coins which I though was right but when I got home discovered that I was given two twenty pence coins. Not happy. But hey ho, they will never see me as a customer again.

Delicious food, always hot and never greasy, like the rest in Totton. Won’t go anywhere else! Friendly service.

Having used the services of Hong Kong 'takeaway' over the years I can say - with confidence, that I have no qualms in recommending it. Reliable service and delivery. Wide range of dishes and the food has always been excellent. Generous portions make these meals good value too . Can be very busy with delivery orders at some peak times, so worth bearing in mind to order promptly.

Every dish tasted delicious. All reasonable value. Would recommend the Hong Kong Sweet & Sour Chicken. Good service and food always very hot. Beware though, only accept cash and nothing else!

I’m never normally the type of person to write a review but I feel like hong king deserves some recognition. Hong Kong is the best Chinese in Totton, the food is always hot and is not greasy or fatty. The food is so full of flavour and the portion sizes are great value for money!

We come here at least once a month. The food is always hot, tasty and plentiful. I recommend to all my friends. Friendly service as well.

I ordered food for delivery here this evening at 7.30pm, was told it would be 90 minutes which is a long time but considering it was a Saturday I carried on with the order. After an hour and 40 minutes I called to see where my food was and she said another 30 mins. To then ring up 40 minutes later for her to say my food was just being cooked it will be 15 minutes! 3 hours later it turned up at 10.30pm which I then had to turn it away! I won’t be ordering from here again.

First time takeaway from here as new to the area. What a great decision. Absolutely huge portions, really tasty and freshly cooked food. Some of the best duck I’ve had - great quality meat. Place busy when collecting so must be a good sign. Will definitely make my regular!

Usually reasonable, but food was disgusting full of fat and tasteless. Poor customer service as after contacting to say the food was poor, just fobed off. Never again!

Used this takeaway many times, lovely food, usually not to bad on delivery, but tonight ordered at 7.15, was told 1 hour but arrived at 9.15, wished we went and collected now !

This is a very good little take away that serves hot and delicious food. The service is quick and they will cook your meal how you like it, for instance if you wanted a dish well done they will do that. They have a delivery service too. The portions are generous and prices fair
