The food and location are brilliant, however, every single time I've been there is a little sign saying "sorry there's a small team today, expect a longer wait for food". But it's worth the wait, great bacon bap and friendly staff. Also always loved a cafe that gives hot water to top up a tea pot. 😊 It's a lovely place - as long as you're not in a hurry!

Amazing honey! We’ve gone to this cafe personally and also had a delivery of honey. The service is always pleasant and friendly, the honey is always excellent. My partner reached out to see if a delivery of honey was possible, as a surprise to make an 8 layered Honey Cake for my birthday, Emma (the owner) is an amazing person who has made this possible. Thank you so much!!! I absolutely love your honey! And I hope we can come back to your cafe soon!! x

As pretty as this place is , how can they justify £8 per sandwich???? ..... Two days later, my daughter went to a cafe in Ross on wye had adult breakfast x 2 child's toast 2 teas a soft drink and 3 sausage rolls and all come too £26, now that's value for money and what a difference in price........

Beautiful setting. Great variety on the menu but sadly they don’t cater well for vegans. Vegans have to put up with the vegetarian options minus the cheese, coleslaw, sour cream etc etc!!! Jacket potatoes were ok but there was no thought for presentation i.e salad garnish. The staff were young, friendly and very helpful. Our experience was ruined when we were followed out of the restaurant and asked if we had paid for our meal just because one of the staff had failed to cash up our payment.

Sadly disappointed but what a beautiful place and the tiny toilet was novel for little ones. My husband and I had the pie which was more like a hame and leek slice you get from a shop. It’s been awhile since we’d eaten chips! They were rather nice. Slow delivery of meals and I do understand there was a staffing issue but it did seem excessive. My biggest bug bear regarding the restaurant industry is when staff bring food to the tables only to turn around and go back to the kitchen empty handed. We had to clear our table and the one for our other friends. If you’re going back take something back with you. Parking was great especially as we were on motorbikes. A few of the group had cakes which they did say was wonderful. Beautiful place sadly dissatisfied with a few things.

Pulled in around 3.40 pm on a Friday, on route to our destination, and it was busy. All seating outside was taken, and having the dogs we decided to get take out. They stopped serving food at 4 pm, so we were there just in time. Staff were friendly and helpful. After thoroughly checking what they could put together for me, taking my Dairy Allery into consideration, I had a few choices and decided on chicken ranch taco/wrap with fresh avocado and a lovely zingy salsa. I got 3 filled wraps, my mum had the big crunch, and again, it was freshly made to order... 3 wraps that she said were delicious, both cost £15.90 altogether. The cakes looked tasty, proper homemade! Purchased some honey (454g) from the selection there as well (£6.95)... yummy 😋 Very reasonably priced food for the amount you get and the care they give, putting it all together. Dogs are welcome. Highly recommend.

HoneyPot Coffee Shop Castle Gresley, United Kingdom Expensive for what you get. We went on the bank holiday Monday, very popular cafe with bikers, in fact it was full of bikers to the point where I had to queue for 15mins just to have a pee bcuz there was 5 bikers Infront of me who bought 1 cuppa and needed the loo. The food we had was tasty, I had the tomatoe & basil soup, it comes with a thick slice of bread, it would of been nice to have some butter on the bread! We also had onion rings which where very nice and a portion of chips, if you could call it a portion, they came in a tiny dish and must of been 10 thin chips in them (you get more fries at any fast food outlet) My partner had a cheese & coleslaw sandwich, I would of thought for the price it would of come with a few crisps & maybe a garnish but no! It was literally just the sarnie on the plate. We both had a coffee each and when they came I thought we were on a water shortage! The small cups where only half full, I was just about to tell the waitress that we ordered americano and not espresso. We paid £30 for a cheese sandwich, a bowl or tomato soup, 5 onion rings and a handful of chips (that's being generous) and 2 coffee's, at that price tag I would of thought some butter on the bread a few crisps & garnish on the sandwich would of been appropriate. Nice place but definitely run to make the biggest profit they can, shame really as it's a nice little cafe.

Hubby and I stopped here for a break whilst on gallery deliveries from Yorkshire. The Honey Cafe is easy to find on a little turn off just on the edge of the village. There is plenty of free parking right outside. There is a large outside seating area as well as a very cosy interior café decorated with pretty local artwork. The menu is full of great suggestions and everything sounded delicious, but we only had a short window of time and so opted for tea and toast. The weather was cool, but outside was bright and the view of the snow topped mountains was beautiful so we sat and enjoyed watching the red kites circling above with one even doing a close flyby as we ate! The bill was just £11.80, which was very reasonable and the chatty friendly staff were very helpful too :) We are very happy to have found this little gem and will happily call again next time we are in the area :)
