Have been to other honest burgers and even had deliveries too but this was the worst I have had. Burger was dry and chips were so skinny they should have been called crisps. Waitress was nice.

Popped in after a visit to Kings. Burger, fries and gravy, plus a couple of mojitos to wash it down. Gravy was incredible, can see now why it is feted. Will be back if in the vicinity again.

Although the burgers are nice but they are pretty small in size. My chips are sometimes more like crisp, I thought it was a one off but no, every time my chips are crunchy there is nothing in them. Bit of joke when your paying £14 for a small burger and chips but you can’t provide actual chips….. That brings to the most frustrating thing about Honest Burgers is that EVERYTHING COMES WITH CHIP SO YOU CANNOT ORDER ANY BURGER SEPARATELY. There are times that I or my family just want burgers and no chips! Sometimes I want an extra burger so I can try out the other options but they don’t have a menu to order burgers separately and I checked this with them. I think it’s weird Honest Burgers do this. They are the only burger restaurant I know that don’t allow you to buy the burgers separately. My advise, go to Black Bear Burger at Brixton, their burgers are yum and far better restaurant.

What an absolute gem! This tiny and cosy Honest Burgers in Brixton can offer you a wonderful ambience, great service and yummy food! It's not only a taste of juicy and beefy burger finished with rosemary salted chips on a side, accompanied by chipotle mayo if you wish - but also a fabulous choice of sides like those mouth-watering buffalo wings! Additionally, the refreshing Brixton Pale Ale can compliment all the flavours! Big shout to the Team in HB Brixton !!!

Burgers are second to none, always cooked just the way I like (well done) and rich in flavour and texture. The chips are plentiful and i love the ample choice of sauces on the menu. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, conscious of allergies and dietry requirements, flexible and knowledgeable about their product. The seating arrangement is quite restriced as it is a small place and can get crowded easily, but i guess that s part of the charme of being inside a market.

The food was so good, delicious and the service was great. We ate the chicken burger and the local special, which is a must try. Overall, it was great and will visit again.

My review is regarding customer service. I left a review for this place ,had a swift response from the establishment, and can only praise how my review was handled. I made a choice to remove my review once I dealt with customer services.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I went on a school trip with a few classmates from Hull, we were originally meant to go to Hard Rock Cafe but sadly they couldn't allow us due to space. So we all paid £18 odd for a burger and chips. The burger was dry and had no flavour or salad apart from a flimsy bit of lettuce which coverer barely half of the burger. A drink from London costs enough already, and to find out it is just a can of coke instead of a glass was even worse. The only reason the chips were so expensive was due to the "rosemary salt" which had no taste at all, and was too dry, and the brioche bun tasted like it was store bought It is way too crammed in, and the waitors were frantically trying to dish everything out like we were demanding to be fed, however we were waiting 25 minutes for food that was already meant to be prepared for when we got there to fit into a schedule we had 🤷‍♀️ One kid asked for a plant based meal, and instead was giving a regular burger. When he complained about his order not being right, they tried to charge him again for them to make another burger for him. He eventually got his food, which he described as disgusting, with a side of garlic sauce. He went back to the hotel we were staying at and complained about the food giving him diarrhea. Toilets were right next to the kitchen and had a horrible smell coming from them, and there was toilet paper all over the floor. The atmosphere was terrible I will never go back, I'd rather spend my money on a fast food restaurant than this

Food was fine, pretty standard for Honest Burger. Inside was very noisy due to open kitchen in small space. Service from kitchen was fast and food was as expected. Waitresses were not good. Serving and taking orders from other tables who came in after us rather than coming through to serve us. No napkins or water given with food and couldn't get their attention to ask for some. Had to go up myself to go find them and even when the staff member saw me they didn't check. No checks on how the meal was (even upon leaving). They were more concerned about having a catch up than the customer service. Honestly really poor.

Best burgers ever. The waitress was absolutely adorable to us! the fries were completely crispy not oily at all, with a lot of flavour… Prices aren’t expensive, the cocktails were a lot refreshing. We felt in love with the place !!!

Honest burgers is the best burger in England in my opinion, and this location is great as it’s so cool to see the great vibe of Brixton. Restaurant is quite small but every time I come they have tables available

£38 for 2 burgers and chips through Uber Eats and it turns up freezing cold. Never again

I went with a friend for lunch on Wednesday. The market was relatively quiet as many of the outlets were closed. My burger seemed rather small but was tasty. I was a little worried that the middle of the meat was perhaps just a little too pink for my liking. I wasn't asked how I would like it to be prepared. I tried the rosemary fries which I found very salty. The fries felt like a 'scraps' portion as many of the fries underneath were small and over crispy. The staff were nice.

I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised with the food here . When I first saw the burger , it look slightly burnt to me and the wings looked unimpressive. However , it goes to show that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover as both were nice , the wings were juicier than they looked and the white sauce on top was delicious . The burger was also incredibly juicy and packed with so much flavour with all the flavours from the beef patty , onions, bacon and brown butter Mayo complimenting each other very well. I read another persons review who recommended the beef and bacon gravy and I have to say that it is an absolute game changer and that I highly suggest you get it too. Overall , it was a great takeaway.

Very Nice place. Suggested by my nephew. I really enjoyed the rosemary chips, it was the best! I didn’t eat that from ages! Polite and nice staff. They didn’t understand me properly. Probably because I don’t use English very much🤦🏻‍♀️ Delicious salad with fresh vegetables. Kids menu available.

Popped in yesterday for a quick dinner, even tho it seemed quite busy food arrived in a timely manner and the service provided from Andrea and Arianna was just as good. If you are every in Brixton this is definitely a place to stop by!

Yesterday evening we came for dinner with my family and we sat outside. We had 5 tribute and a kid burger and everything was just perfect from the service provided from Andrea all the way till the rosemary chips. Food was so good that we had to order one more tribute to takeaway. We will definitely come back again.

Great hidden little place with a few seats inside+in the gallery it's inside of. Always reliable Honest burgers options, including vegetarian or vegan ones.

Just ordered burger and chips through Uber Eats. Clearly not made by Honest. Chips smell and taste of fish - nothing like the restaurant. Revolting. Won't make that mistake again. (Uber Eats eventually offered 75p refund on a £75 order 😂).

If you haven’t eaten at honest burgers before, what have you been doing with your life? The staff here are always friendly and the service is fantastic. So stop reading reviews and go get yourself a burger. Top tip: get bacon gravy. It’ll be the best decision you’ll ever make.

Lovely staff, not much seating but to be expected for the location. Burgers were lovely, I personally wasn't a fan of the chips with rosemary - I didn't feel like they went together. Number of options for choose from, pretty average prices too.

Double smash in the original Brixton Honest Burger, chips were crispy from start to finish, burger nice and juicy with each patty having a crust. Its a small hole in the wall shop so seating is limited but people are considerate and move fast. Wish there was an option not to butter the buns so as to appreciate the quality of the patty more

Honest Burgers is - of course - a chain establishment. And, it’s one that I can align with when it comes to their overall philosophy (have a look at their website to gain insight to their mission/vision). This location always provides excellent customer service. And, being gluten-intolerant, I appreciate that Honest Burgers offers gluten-free buns at no extra charge. They also have a gluten-free beer on the menu- but, being that it’s a Pilsner, I refrained. Speaking of beer, there are many more - and better - options these days when it comes to beer. For one, I’m an India Pale Ale kinda girl…it has more depth - and dances on the palate. My favourite (aka easy to find at M&S’s Food Hall) IPA is Magic Rock Brewing’s Fantasma. Now, if Honest Burgers offered this beer on the menu, five stars would have been a slam dunk!

I love it here but on my recent visit I witnessed the staff eating ribs in the kitchen. None of them washed their hands afterwards and proceeded to touch the food / take away meals which were being picked up. I’m plant based so was even more horrified! Do better please!

Honest burger, rosemary salted fries and buffalo wings are all delicious. The burger didn’t have enough sauce though which was a let down. Quality food nonetheless. (Don’t try the Clapham branch)

I have been many times to different Honests and as usual it was very good. We loved the special, the choices are always amazing for everyone (vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available) and the fries are just the best. Highly recommended!

Good option if you're vegan or celiac (or both!!!). We've chosen the Plant Ve (sooo juicy ✨) and the Tribute with a gluten free bun, both were served with the rosmary chips, we also decided to get an extra side, the seasonal coleslaw. Everything was good, if I can make a tiny tiny note, in my humble opinion the rosemary chips were too salted but I'm not used to salty food so taste may be subjective, in spite of this I definitely recommend to try them, it's worth it.

Tribute burger &Rosemary fries £13 Homemade lemonade £3 Chipotle mayo £1 Alright hear me now, it’s been a long time coming I have been wanted to pay Honest burgers a visit for a couple years now but I never made it but I finally did it. It’s situated in the Brixton village there isn’t much seating in side but there’s a couple table outside so it’s best not to go there when it’s peak times. Lovely staff and chef. The price isn’t that bad it’s £13 for a lovely burger and fries but there homemade lemonade is a bit pricey it’s quite refreshing and it’s got a healthy balance of sweet to sour but there isn’t much of it so I’m not sure if it’s worth £3 but enjoyable to say the least. Rosemary fries These fries were brilliant! Crispy, fluffy and fresher then the rest, it had unselfish amount of salt and rosemary applied to the fries which accompanied the burger extremely and enhanced the whole culinary experience. There wasn’t too much rosemary which as a herb can be very overpowering if too much is add but it was done expertly. Don’t get me started on the chipotle sauce that I ordered on the side, spectacular 7.3/10 Tribute burger This burger was cooked medium which made it really juicy, the sauce to bun ratio was healthy and done right. The bacon the crispy, the lettuce was applied a bit chaotically but that’s neither here nor there. I’m not really a fan of mustard and I was a bit concerned about it ruining the combining flavour of the burger but I acc didn’t and it worked really well with it. Overall a really good burger, is it one of the BEST burgers in London that is yet to be decided. 8.2/10 Overall the food was amazing even more surprised on how well the fries worked with the burger as a meal it was something to behold an experience that has might have been the best I’ve had so far. They charge you for cheese, not extra cheese...but their burger is apparently patty and bun, and if you want cheese, you'll have to pay for it. And I think that's absurd! Burgers should always come with cheese.

my go-to burger place. located in brixton village, with a handful of outdoor seating. a little uncomfy but perfect for a casual date. lovely customer service and fast. the new orleans was probably one of the BEST burgers i’ve had, a must try. my bf had the brixton special and was satisfied. one thing i noticed is that the chips are usually a bit too salty though. nevertheless, a great meal for the price! 🥰

Man let me tell you something, you wanna be served gorgeous burgers by gorgeous people? This is honestly the place for you. I was served by the lovely blonde with the long hair, kinda looks like honey g if honey g lost 100lbs, and the beautiful brunette with massive brown eyes and they catered to my every need, it was like a lesbian fever dream. However, every time i always see these two working especially the weekends, give them a break! I got the bacon plant which was a super succulent burger extravaganza. Top tier service and top tier food, gorgeous love it ladies

Great food in a cozy environment within an undercover marketplace. The rosemary salted fries are lovely and the burgers are always just right. A varying selection of craft beers available too. Great for a quick meal before moving on elsewhere. Update: It's still just as great as ever, I managed to pop in in late February 2022. I particularly like the local special burger (only available at this restaurant). That's made with cheese, bacon, jerk sauce and a slice of grilled pineapple. It's surprisingly good.

I often order burgers here, one of the best burger I have tried in london, but now burgers are not the same, chef is not focused on his work, chips are not the same as always. Last chips I received were absolutely uneatable. I don’t think I’m gonna re order anymore, they let me down too many times in the last three months.

Came here in the week between Christmas and New Year 2021. Some places were closed, others were really busy. Honest burgers had all 3-4 outside tables occupied but luckily there were 3 small tables available inside. I ordered the Tribute burger, partner ordered the Honest. Both absolutely delicious! Burgers were very pink and juicy in the middle, all the trimmings just perfect. Food was fresh and hot. Fries too generous as always! But can't complain. Lemonade is tangy and refreshing. Service is efficient and brisk if it's busy, but always pleasant. It's the second time I've been here in a few months and it's always spot on. I had to write a review and share the love for this place.
