Queens Head Cafe in Lambeth

Linda pequeña cafetería con comida deliciosa, a un precio justo. Este restaurante está a una cuadra del río - hoteles frente al mar. Nuestro desayuno en Queens Head costó alrededor de un tercio del mismo desayuno entregado a través de servicio de habitaciones, y era mucho más delicioso que el servicio de habitaciones! Vale la pena caminar y no esperar cuando fuimos.

No puedes culpar a este café por la buena comida y el gran servicio al cliente. Recientemente pasamos 3 semanas en Londres y tuvimos desayuno y brunch en el Queens Head Café todos los días que estaban abiertos. Las chicas que estuvieron en servicio y los chicos que son los chefs se dedican a hacer que su experiencia gastronómica sea cálida y amable, así como entregar lo que ha pedido caliente, fresco y de manera oportuna. Si vas a visitar o alojarte en Vauxhall te recomendamos dar una oportunidad a este pequeño café lleno de encanto y la historia de Charlie Chaplin.

Lovely cafe with great staff and superb food. Extremely popular due to the high standrds it sets. If you are in the area or staying at the expensive Hotels, you will get a much better breakfast here and not "Break the Bank"!

Terrible portion sizes, soggy bread. Don’t order sausage baguette as you get 1 thin sausage. Just garbage

Me and my partner this morning arrived in London and was looking for somewhere to eat. We came across this little cafe and I’m glad we did because the food was really good, we both enjoyed our food, it was a perfect way to start our week and a great way to start my birthday! Thank you to all the staff! I would recommend this to anyone as they have a variety of different options.

Wow wow wow! My husband and I visited the Queens Head in Vauxhall after staying in a hotel around the corner. From the service when we first entered the cafe, to the food, everything was 5 star. The staff were so friendly and welcoming when we arrived and the atmosphere was lovely. Throughout our visit, they were really attentive and seemed to have great relationships with the customers. We both ordered the standard Full English breakfast and it arrived promptly. It was quite possibly the best full English I’ve ever had. Really tasty, plentiful and not greasy at all. My husband was laughing at me as I couldn’t stop saying how good it was! If I absolutely had to give one negative, it would be that it would be good if the tea and coffee was topped up. But that’s not at all a complaint as the value was superb. I’d highly recommend a visit here if you’re in the area. I wish we lived closer so we could visit all the time!!

We stayed at the Park Plaza Hotel and went to this cafe for breakfast and lunch. First of all, thank you to the staff: all the ladies working there are just fantastic. Congratulations. The food is delicious and the service is second to none. Well done and we will be back again and again.

Great morning/ lunchtime cafe with traditional English and some Turkish dishes. All cooked fresh and hot, good coffee, reasonable prices. Don’t have the fish and chips, toasted cheese (microwaved)or veggie burger as both are disappointing but everything else is good

Great little bistro just off the river. When I’m in London it’s a stop off for fresh coffee on my way to Westminster. Great staff even at silly-o-clock in the morning.

Lovely choice for Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch! We were lucky to find Queens Head when we arrived in London. Great full English breakfast, eggs benedict, salmon, fish and chips and other typical local food available (and also nice vegan options). The menu allows us to customize the breakfast which is also very interesting. Excellent expresso coffee, cappuccino and other soft and hot drinks available. Local British and friendly environment highly recommended.

Reasonably priced, good (but not spectacular) food, and polite service. I will definitely return on my next visit.

I came here for lunch with some colleagues a few days ago. They’ve all been here before and told me how nice it was. We were served quickly with dishes ranging from burgers with chips, sausage, mash and gravy and chicken Caesar salad for me - with halloumi replacing the chicken. The food came in good time and in fairness my meal was better than I expected for the £5/£6 that it cost. The presentation was good and the cheese tasted freshly grilled. There wasn’t much of a big portion but this suited me fine. I wasn’t however too keen on the accompanying salsa but that’s just personal taste. We all enjoyed our meals and I would definitely come back.

We had a great breakfast here. Lovely staff, friendly service. Wide choice of food. We had eggs on toast, omelette, and tea. Popular for takeaway sandwiches etc. Very clean and bright. Highly recommended!

You're spoilt for choice when it comes to good breakfast options in Vauxhall. The Queens Head is definitely up there with the best of them. Having walked past it plenty of times, we decided to pop in for breakfast at the weekend. Glad we did, it was great. I had a full English, cooked to perfection. My girlfriend had a veggie breakfast, also very nice. There are plenty of seating options, large tables in the centre - perfect for big groups. Around the sides are smaller tables for 2-4. The waiting staff were very nice, attentive and friendly. Slight drawback was that they only accept cash, had to hot foot it to the tube station and back. Very reasonable in terms of price - under £14 for two huge breakfasts plus tea.
